Main Wave Restaurant

This is our favourite restaurant in main beach. We have Dined here at least 8 times in the past 2 years. They never disappoint and Amy is the most professional, delightful and genuinely focused on customer service person you have ever met? The Sunday lunch with live music is also awesome! 5 stars every time! Big Thank you to the chef and kitchen staff as well, they are always so accommodating!

We went with our friends for Glenn’s Birthday and we absolutely loved main wave restaurant the food was top class. The staff were absolutely lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. Prices were very reasonable and fantastic atmosphere.i highly recommend you visit them for a fantastic experience.
I could not fault this restaurant at all we really did. Have a wonderful time.
Even the kids meals were top class.

The twice cooked Duck is my favourite and the wine list is exceptional.
Amy is very knowledgeable about her wines and is always helpful in selecting the right one to go with your meal you’ve chosen.
Lovely ambience outside underneath the trees with twinkling lights , or inside if your prefer a more intimate setting.

Love it!! Food is beautiful and very nicely prepared and presented. Also good prices. Great wine list. I love the size and layout of this restaurant. Not too large and no chairs scraping the floor constantly. Love the way the doors open, gives it such a lovely atmosphere and the courtyard is so nice and relaxing. Very nice to be there also when there is music. Perfect, not too loud so you don’t have to raise your voice when chatting. Good all year restaurant, warm in water and great in summer. The staff are beautiful, polite, courteous and very efficient. In fact writing this is reminding me I need to go back very soon.

I had been to this restaurant a number of months ago on a trip to the Gold Coast and found it to be a very enjoyable experience. I went again on Monday and had the veal. It was sensational! And there was ample food on the plate, not like other restaurants where you leave hungry. The dessert was scrumptious. The menu online is not a full menu so you have more choice when you go to the restaurant. Service was very attentive and the restaurant, though small, was cozy and fairly quiet. I thoroughly enjoyed the dinner and will go again during the rest of my current stay on the Gold Coast. Although a bit pricier than some others on Tedder, it was well worth the money and I thoroughly recommend it.

Always love my experience at Main Wave! Plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, the food is incredible and the staff are so kind and very attentive.
