The perfect setting with its contemporary ambience and the exquisite services provided, makes you feel important and well-served. The price is considered reasonable for the incredible food and services compare to what we have in Aus. We went full course with wine pairing (we love our🍷). Superb!

This was such a special and memorable birthday dinner! The night was filled with surprise after surprise as the staff guided us from room to room for our cocktail and appetizer experiences. The presentations were incredible, each dish was immaculately executed, and the staff were lovely and extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of our food and wine experience. I couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough!
My husband and I came here for a special treat on our honeymoon. I’m not an seafood lover, but I found all the seafood courses to be tasty and an interesting experience. Honestly, everything was delicious, the staff were super welcoming, translated to both English for me and Spanish for my husband. When they heard it was our honeymoon, the chef sent us out a special dessert! ❤️. My favorite savory dish was the egg and mushroom. Highly recommend for a romantic evening. Thank you to all the staff!

This one star Michelin still feels like one of Madrid’s best kept secrets. A great option for a special night out or when you’re longing some elegant and flavourful Mediterranean meal.

Food: It’s unusual to have a capuccino after 11am, yet alone a cup of it to start the dinner but this little flavour bomb is one of our all-time favourite meal starters since the first time we tried it. The menu is generally leaning into the great seafood restaurant has access to from around the Spain and it’s so worth it, gambas, carabineros or seabass fillet, all of it felt incredibly fresh and prepared super precisely, honouring the ingredients. For the meat course, we had pigeon and beef which were also prepared nicely. The sauces in all courses are little works of art; silky smooth and nicely balanced. We topped it off with a dessert which was a luxurious mix of chocolate textures.

Service and wine: Service in Clos is very kind and just pure class, nothing to fault there. As for the wine, we tried their “per glass” options this time around which can be a bit tricky sometimes; but not if Marcos Granda is involved in picking the bottles - fan ta stic wines start to finish.

Thank you for having us, looking forward to our next visit!

I’m very big on trying new restaurants. Having 3 Michelin stars and ranked the #3 restaurant in the WORLD, by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, I expected SO much more. Here are my takeaways:

1. Style over substance. The amount of food with respect to the size of the novelty plates, brass elephant they brought the smallest portion of food on etc, was honestly insulting. More food for the price for sure. Save the flare for something else. It almost felt distracting from what wasn’t that great of a food selection to me. There wasn’t a dish that was absolutely memorable and you would expect it to be for such a highly ranked restaurant.

2. The sommelier bought out a bottle of sparkling wine. While explaining it and opening the bottle he SPILLS some of the wine. Rookie move. He panicked. Apologizes and says it wasn’t too much that spilled. Pours our glasses. Walks away… NEVER COMES BACK. Spill still on the floor! I had to explain to the waiter who saw the spill and apologized and cleaned it up. It was maybe an ounce or two of wine but for the price? I want it in my glass not on the floor. Comped or given another complimentary pour? Nope.

3. The owner/chef was in the building. Would have been a nice touch to come to the table and introduce himself like most restaurants of that caliber I have been to have done. And it was a birthday dinner at that. Honestly got a sense of ego from him considering his face is on everything. Well bring your face to our table too and say hello and happy birthday.

4. They did bring out this elaborate and gigantic faux birthday cake that had a bite sized piece of chocolate cake inside for my birthday. I did appreciate that flare for the dramatics with that at least.

Most definitely had way better experiences at other restaurants while in Spain. I thanked my friends for going along with my reservation, but they most definitely were not happy.
Excellent, simply excellent. Great service, waiters listening and proposing dishes. Well received, even if we arrived a bit outside of the standard hours.
Croquetas were delicious, I took some fish that was well cooked. The bread was warm.
In any case, I would recommend. Very good value for money!

One of the best dining experiences out there. Food was top notch. Javier and Guillermo took care of us well. In fact, thank to all the staff for being so friendly. Wine pairing was also top notch and left there feeling full and satisfied. The journey between the different rooms was engaging and took an already amazing experience to the next level. Highly recommended when visiting Madrid. Mad props for being open in August.
Take the public bus service from central Madrid, it leaves you at the gates! Your was in Spanish so we just nodded along but a lovely way to spend a few hours. A walk further on to Franco’s final resting place, we didn’t bother. Lovely little village.

Was here for a large banquet and the area was absolutely fantastic, and the servers were mostly great (one bar tender seemed to be having a bad day). Food was pretty good.
Great food, horrible service

Very nice 2* in Madrid, well deserved in my opinion. Love their premium wine pairing which at our time of visiting included some amazing wines like chateau d’Yquem and Vega Sicilia Unico. Generous pours and whenever needed a refill.

Dinner takes place in 4 different areas, all playing an important role throughout the meal.

The service was impeccable and most of the food was incredible. However, they provide rubber utensils for three of the dishes, and they taste strongly of the soap/dishwasher they are cleaned with. It's shocking to consider yourself one of the top restaurants in the world but to overlook this detail and to serve dishes that taste like soap. We spent over a thousand dollars to eat here so this is not acceptable for the type of calibre this restaurant wants to be.

Great experience. Outstanding service, fantastic imaginative food tasting menu consists of 25 dishes. The waiter explains the ingredients, provenance, and preparation techniques for each dish. The presentation is beautiful and bespoke for each dish. Plan for about five hours.
Disappointing to witness how Spain continues to attempt to ignore great chunks of its history. The Palace was the residency of the dictator Franco and his family for 35 years. However, this was barely mentioned in the guided visit. I first visited the Palace more than 20 years ago and the tour then focused more on the daily activities of the Franco Family as well as its former role as Palace to the Spanish Royal Family in the time of the Austrias and Bourbons, and its current role as an official residence for visitors of state. The past is the past, it should never be rewritten just because it doesn't align with the ideals of any political party who happen to be in power.
The Palace has unfortunately lost a part of its past which right or wrong happened, and needs to told and remembered for what it was.
Mal trato, chulesco y tarde.

Despite being slightly overpriced, Restaurante Casa Pedro delivers on quality with its extensive selection of dishes. The food is superb, satisfying diners with its rich flavors. What really enhances the dining experience is the extremely welcoming staff, whose hospitality ensures a delightful visit. Worth considering for an enjoyable meal.

Mixed Review-

Went here with my partner as it was her birthday.

The experience and food was amazing. Loved it and the presentation was spot on as well. 5/5

Hadn't had anything else to eat that day and about 1h after leaving the restaurant was violently sick and threw up in the metro station and the vomiting and diarrhoea continued for about 2 hours. We needed to call put the ambulance who came as well. My partner has a medical condition and can't eat raw or undercooked things. She had no issues with the meal so we suspect it was one of the raw or undercooked dishes. 1/5
Sitio familiar, buen trato, mejor comida y bien precio. Muchas gracias por existir 😙
Excelent food, friendly staff. I would say the best restaurant in this part of Usera.

First of all: The overall experience was outstanding!

Every single dish made us smiling (wow), the service was amazing (attentive and friendly) and the atmosphere wonderful.

It was the best wine pairing we every had - by far! Many thanks to Miguel (Head Sommelier). Noone ever explained so well, why he exactly choosed that wine for the dish, shared his vision and all his thoughts with the pairing ... in a lovely way that you feel like beeing at a friend - extraordinary!
No volvería.

DiverXo has 3 Michelin stars so that is plenty enough reason to go. We dined at DiverXo in May 2023 and we made the reservations in Jan 2023. Fortunately, the staff all spoke English which helped as a tourist. We had an 8 pm reservation and finished with our meal around 11:30 pm. Everything we ate was DELICIOUS and beautifully/interestingly presented. The menu seems to be Spanish cuisine fused with flavors from Asia like Japan, Thailand, Singapore, etc. They give you a piece of paper prior to every course so you know what you are eating. We had 14 courses and loved every single one. Some of the highlights were: "45 days aged nigiri. Pyrenean ecosystem" (aged trout), "frosty salad from the bottom of the fridge and it's sea garnish" (salad as the entree with turbot as a garnish - this had an amazing lettuce dressing), "8 second wok-caressed" (baby eels), and Japanese bonbons (mochi petite fours).
Make the trip out to Madrid to eat at DiverXo. It is absolutely worth it.

The whole experience is awesome. It feels like it's more than just a dining experience but a whole experience of a restaurant - kitchen, cellar and dining room. It's a perfect execution on food, wine pairing and service. We'll put it on the top of all three Michelin star restaurants that we have visited. I don't know how often they change their menu, but it's a perfect and wonderful dinner for us on our Spain trip.

All the dishes were fantastic. Try the tiramisu!

Excellente ! I loved the kitchen, both for the taste & presentation. The wine paring was also on the top! Knowing that I was from France, they gave me only Spanish wines for degustation. I really appreciated that!

Would like to note a very attentive service (I'm a slow eater/drinker that can be challenging with several dishes) & the space organisation/déco, I had one of the best experiences with * restaurants in Madrid.

Everything was incredible. The food, service and atmosphere was all amazing. The only reason I am giving the food 4 stars is because most of the dishes felt cold. I would have preferred a few more hot dishes since the weather outside was cold outside.

My fav dish was the consume in a Nespresso cup and the seabass in seaweed. Both preparations and presentation were excellent.

The service was incredible. We felt like the courses were properly timed to give an awesome experience.

We would definitely go back!!

Like him or not, the palace has its place in recent history as the home of Spain's last dictator...that on top of the building's time as a royal household. It's only a short drive/bus ride from Madrid, but cut off by forest-covered hills it feels like a hundred miles away from the bustle of the city.
Great service and excellent presentation. The best part of the meal was the wine pairing - the sommelier used all Spanish wines. Each wine complemented its assigned dish perfectly.

Giving four stars since the flavors in each dish were not as memorable for me as other Michelin star restaurants I’ve been to. At times, I felt I was paying more for the presentation of the food than the taste.

WOW!! What an amazing experience. We have dined in 1,2,3 Michelin stated restaurants but never had such a unique experience as we had here. The tour in the restaurant before seated to the table, in the bar, the wine cellar, the Sherry room and the kitchen, all accompanied with different food and cocktail/wine/sherry/beer tasting was nothing but great joy. This one is definitely one of the best restaurants we visited.

Ok
We enjoyed my sister's wedding there, the food was excellent and the staff absolutely helpful. Great restaurant to visit and enjoy
We wanted to try some tapas and enjoy a night out here. The servers never came to get our order, we had to try hard get their attention. The drinks were horrendously sweet and it took 1 hour, 1 HOUR for 1 sausage to be made. Very disappointed.
Good food and a great place to have a party. We went to a party and everything was really good. The owners are attentive
You can eat menu around 12e includes starter, main, drink and desert. You can take starter from the day menu and then chose main from other options but the price will change around 18e but includes a bottle of wine, bottle of water and sparkling water. I recommend to order a la carte not the daily menu. Their specialty is grill therefore if you like a good steak but also some seafood like octopus, it is a great place and prices are OK. Service is good and fast.

While I don’t feel like I need to come again, everything about our meal and experience here was incredible. It was a great journey but I think the service and food wasn’t necessarily two Michelin stars? It’s hard to explain but we’ve had better service and food but this was a once in a lifetime experience through the rooms. Definitely worth a trip!!

Great traditional Castilian restaurant.
We ordered 2 starters of cured meats which were great. Had the cochinillo as main and it was cooked to perfection, very thin and crispy skin.
Definitely going back when in Madrid.
Attended a baptism celebration. Great service a good food. The place allows for multiple simultaneous events

One of my best dinners experiences I ever had. You have to queue very early, since it gets full very quickly…and maybe wait for 30 minutes, but the food is really good, fast delivered…two plates per person is enough. Just go try it. A little bit expensive, but worthy.
The Premium Chuleton aged 50 days is well worthy to taste. Some of the staff are quite nice some other don’t.
Good wine but served too cold.
Pricy.
First of all thank you to giving this opportunity my name is #pumarapstar music EI Minor is the best restaurant in Spain can you visit and enjoy the food with friends and family and loved ones

A very underwhelming culinary experience on our end.

After hearing all the hype, we dutifully staked out the reservation website and got a spot a few months before our trip. If you're looking to visit you have to be pretty quick in this front. They do rolling reservations 2 months out, and within 5 hours of September spots being open, 95% of them were already gone.

When we arrived, the setting of the restaurant and the customer service were absolutely top-notch. Each table is very private, with opaque curtains separating you from the rest of the guests. These aspects continued throughout, with our waitress dutifully checking in on us and really going the extra mile to describe all the dishes. All the art, statues and decor of the restaurant were very cool and definitely felt like a truly unique restaurant. Couldn't be happier in that regard.

Where our experience started to fall flat was the food itself. While it was all plated beautifully, the taste of the dishes left something to be desired. Out of the dozen or so plates we received with the tasting menu, none of them truly stood out in those "Wow!" tasting moments that I was looking for. Will I remember the goat brain served on top of a goat skull? Sure, but not because of the exquisite taste; it became readily evident for us that it was going to be a "style over substance" sort of meal. While that has it's merits, I was hoping the experience at a 3 Michelin star restaurant was not going to fall into that category.

Would I recommend DiverXO for someone looking to get the best food out of 600€? No. In my opinion this meal was much more about the flashiness and pomp of the experience rather than the life-changing food and flavors. If you bear this in mind I think you won't be setting yourself up for disappointment like we did.

Average service. Steak smelled bad, not fresh. Very expensive for what you receive. People was allowed to smoke on the closed terrace. Just a place I don't really recommend with several alternatives very close to the area.
Spectacular traditional dishes in a “pueblo” style in the suburbs of Madrid
Very good place. The terrace is really nice and the food is good. Service is ok and not overly expensive!
Excellent food, not overpriced! The housewine (that in the photo) is very good and price is accessible! Enjoyed very much! Recommend!
The service very good and the waiter...one of the best!
Lesser known and visited palace in Madrid, it has a fabulous collection of tapestries by Goya, Valasquez, and others. Best collection of tapestries I have ever seen in one place. The rooms are also exquisitely decorated, with special chandeliers in some rooms that incorporate other decor features in the room. No photos permitted inside, but allowed in the gardens. Highly recommended.
Overall our experience at Restaurante San Francisco was very good. We were there for an afternoon wedding. The garden was beautiful with mature trees for plenty of shade. The sound system kept squawking during the whole ceremony which was quite annoying.
There are plenty of different banquet halls for different sizes of events.
Our meal was served buffet style and there was an incredible variety. What was not explained to us was that they would start with the cold items and then move on to the hot items, so most everybody filled up on the first food and we're too full to eat the hot food.
I want to finish mentioning that the staff was very professional and courteous.
It was a good place. Food was nice, toilets had a changing table for babies. Staff was friendly.

Caters for family parties very well. Slick and efficient service, food reasonably tasty. Great outdoor space, especially for children - a child-friendly establishment, generally.
Excellent classic Spanish restaurant. We had the solomillo and lenguada. Perfect. Family owned, and my mum's been going here for twenty years, so it's solid quality every time. It has a parking garage.

Excellent place. Family owned restaurant which has been around forever. I'm not sure if the same family has been running it all those years. Very good food and extremely friendly people. Talked to us about what we would like and came up with excellent choices - vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Highly recommend the place.
I thoroughly enjoyed this visit. The palace is rich in history dating back to the 1400's. Free visits are on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 17:00-20:00. Entrance is €9 on all other days. Consult the webpage for special prices for pensioners, children, large families and people with disabilities.
Very convenient parking, comfortable environment, there is a special zone for children, strongly recommend to family clients.
Massive facilities and a good cookery selection. Good ham and meat. A good fish selection as well. Rice is also OK.
Great visit to Royal Palace El Pardo. Too bad you can't take photos inside it, only the yard. It was a bit shoking the fact it was also dictator Franco's residence and now it is used for foreign Heads of State on state visits to Spain.
