It is a nice looking place with what seems to be a good atmosphere. I was here to purchase a vehicle on 3/16 and the salesperson I was dealing with wasn't pushy or aggressive.
4/5 because they are like all dealerships, though. They don't stock base models for us budget conscious individuals and don't disclose to you at first that the price on the sticker doesn't include every add-on they've included that you didn't ask for.
That being said, I got a vehicle that will last way longer than what it costs, even in this horribly inflated market. And once again, feels like a decent place to buy a vehicle, just be careful and don't be in a hurry to take a vehicle today. Maybe see if they can order you one like you want, or see if they have a more appealing one already coming in later.

This dealership is lucky to get even 1 star for what they call "customer service". Even with an appointment, they take others ahead of you and then make you wait for basic things like a carwash or oil change 4 hours in a lobby with absolutely no TV, coffee, radio, etc. Don't even bother trying to ask their staff for updates on your car since they will just treat you like a 5-year old, telling you "Don't worry..I'm sure your car will be done soon" and then repeating the same condescending garbage 4 hours later with "your car still not done".
I would never ever ever recommend anyone come to this dealership for any service whatsoever, even if it's free...it's just not worth it to be treated by the staff like trash, without a shred of decency for their customers. Worst dealership in town..will never ever buy a Honda ever again.

Just recently purchased a used Toyota Highlander from Gatorland! I highly recommend this dealership! I had a great experience with everyone that assisted me with this purchase. Bryan, Erick (sales) and Michael (used car manager) were AWESOME in making sure that I found the SUV that I had hoped for and made sure that all my expectations were met before leaving the dealership. In some cases there’s no way to know for sure if they completed the work as indicated on the work order. However, I think they did my car does drive better. My service advisor was responsive to my questions and helped me get one of the services paid through my warranty.

I have been to VW twice, the first time they paid for my Uber to get back and forth to work, did a video (which impressed me) and I got an oil change, 15 point check, new air filter, okay so maybe I found the place to go for my car. Second visit no uber, needed a horn and wanted to get my car and all wheel alignment and change out the filter for the AC., cost $572. Now mind you the first visit was only 4 months before and a check was done on all the vitals, second video, brake fluid is dark brown, back pads and rotor need to be replace immediately, price tag $1,000, choke choke. I said I get back to them but I knew they were ripping me off, so I called a couple of mechanics, to make a long story short got my brake pads changed out and my brake fluid flushed, didn't need rotors and the mechanic who changed the brake pads said that the drivers side was worn down but the passenger side looked like brand new, said it was the calipers sticking, this was not revealed on the nice lil video I was sent. Moral to the story buyer beware...oh grand total still pricey $369 but not $1,000...

Honda of Gainesville was a wonderful experience. Not being too experienced in the car realm I didn’t know what Honda would fit me but trusted this dealership. That was the best decision I ever made. If you are getting any help with the Service Department go see Chris Muthig. He was extremely helpful with figuring out why I needed oil changes often and explained the reason for the problem, then topped me off with oil and gave me some other helpful advice regarding the vehicle. All of this was true even though he was not the attendant that was supposed to help me. He just overheard me discussing the problem and offered a helping hand. I was encouraged by my experience with VW Gainesville and will plan to go back if I have other issues. Thanks Chris!

Earlier this week I bought my 6th Toyota (have been buying from Gatorland since ‘96), a Highlander, from Gatorland Toyota. Per usual they were very professional, polite, quick and efficient and made the buying process simple and easy. My salesperson, Russ, was a pleasure to work with and very knowledgeable answering any questions I had. The service department is also excellent and very knowledgeable and professional.

What an awesome experience we had with Select Motor Car! We drove nearly 5 hours to purchase our Genesis G80 there and we would do it again in a heartbeat. I would caution anyone from using this dealership. They are misleading at the least and should reconsider how they treat their customers and how they relay information.
I went on Sunday 01/29/2024 to look at vehicle and ended up not liking it once i saw it in person. The salesperson said they would continue to look for a vehicle in my price range. In less than an hour they had found one that they said would work.
I had told them I needed a payment of no more than $600 a month. After running my credit and checking with their banks, the closest they could get was $622. The following day, Monday, I asked if there were any banks left that possibly didn't respond on a Sunday and if they had checked with my credit union.
The text I received said "we do not use "name of credit union"". So I took that to mean they had not checked with my bank. So I texted back that I was going to check to see what they could do.
I then texted that the application had been approved and they would be sending me the documents to sign.
I arrived back at the dealership on Tuesday, after speaking to the dealership to make an appointment and letting them know I had the approval from my credit union.
I get there and they tell me the price they gave me was only applicable if I finance through them. If I wanted to use my credit union, I would have to pay an extra $1000!!
When I asked why no one had informed me of this when I was asking about going through my credit union or when I made the appointment to come in, they had no answer.
My only option was to come up with an additional $1000 cash or pay the higher monthly payment on an 84-month loan!!
I am so very angry, embarrassed and I feel that I am a complete fool for going in that dealership.
Be careful!!

6 months ago I traveled from Georgia to browse the inventory of Camrys and RAV4s at Gatorland Toyota. We were fortunate to be working with Debari. He knew so much about all of the inventory and the different features for different trims. Debari was patient, informative, and ultimately showed me a vehicle that was everything I wanted (and more!) I honestly expected to not be able to come to an agreement on financing. To my surprise, everything came together and I left with the payment I wanted and financing terms that beat out my local credit union. I just left the dealership from my first 5000 mile service. They washed my car too! We will be back to buy a truck from Debari.

My elderly parents recently purchased a car here. THOUSANDS of dollars were tacked onto the purchase price for tire protection and various other things. They wanted to pay cash, but the dealer told them it would "help them out" if they financed a portion. They had to sign everything digitally and were given a thumb drive instead of hard copies. Its obviously easier to sneak in extras with no physical paperwork. They were also quoted an interest rate of 7% and that changed to 9.9%. Absolutely disgusting that they would take advantage of people this way.

Overall the service was good regarding communication and the video sent with explanation etc. I appreciate they checking on all of it. However there were grease marks from the workers hands in the care (which were cleaned by the service representative when I identified them) and also a light was on my dashboard as I left the dealership. The response was to come back, but was delayed enough that I was already at work and could not waste more time getting back to the dealership. I feel that all these things should have been done and checked prior to give me the car back. Additionally since my car was 2 days in the shop, I needed to arrange a rental car+ubers (to pick it up) instead of offering me a loaner care for those 2 days.

I’m a high stress person and this was a huge deal for me since it was my first car purchase. I’m incredibly grateful he was there to guide us through the selection and buying process. Ended up buying a 2023 Tacoma TRD 4x4 and I’m thrilled with it! But equally as thrilled with Dayton, Clarissa in Finance (she was so kind and fun), and everyone else.
Will be buying exclusively at Gatorland going forward because experience means everything to my family.

Like most other reviews, Jansen is AMAZING! He kept us in the loop when an obstacle happened during the final detailing process. My Terrian had an issue with the panoramic sunroof not shutting all the way. I had taken to various body shops and no one wanted to touch it. You guys fixed it for a reasonable cost, repaired a recall and did it all in a 1 1/2 days.

Had a very good experience this time. Got my vehicle scheduled quickly. Rachel called first thing in the morning and was very nice and friendly to work with she kept me up to date and car was ready the following day. Best all around experience I have had at the dealership.

The worst experience ever!!! I purchased Audi in January of this year from Gainesville Volkswagen. I was told all cars sold from Volkswagen were covered with a lifetime warranty on the engine, also I would have a 1 year warranty free maintenance including oil changes ,brakes, tires and ect.
One week after purchasing the car I went on vacation. I received numerous calls from the salesman tell me that they had gotten me a cheaper rate to make my payments cheaper. I was a bit confused 😕 I had never heard of getting a cheaper payment or cheaper rate one week after signing and driving away with the car. I didn't put much thought into it and advised them to reach back out after I came back in town. I received several more calls during the course of me being on vacation to fax the information. After I explain several times it's not a good time for me to discuss this matter they finally agreed to wait until I was back.
When I arrived back in town I reached back out to find out how is it possible to get a cheaper rate. I was told they continue to look for cheaper rates even after you have purchased the car, which I found very odd.
I asked would everything be the same except for the rate change and I was told yes nothing would change only the payment.
Fast forward 4 months later I needed new battery and I got it replaced. I noticed the brakes were squealing so I went to Volkswagen because I thought it was apart of the warranty. I also needed an oil change which was supposed under warranty as well. I was told I didn't need to replace the brakes and it's common for Audi cars to squeal. Which I found to be odd.... so I just got the oil changed.
Fast forward to June the navigation display stopped working, the check engine light came on, the car began to over heat, the air conditioner stop coming on along with the brakes squealing even louder. I went in to get it serviced and I was told that I would have to pay to get it checked and pay to get it serviced. I was confused because the coolant system brakes and maintenance should have been covered under the warranty. I was told when I resigned the paperwork the warranty was not valid. I then was told the reason I was having the issues with everything was because I replaced the battery and I didn't get it from the Audi dealership. I then was told to go to Audi to get it checked because they didn't have the proper equipment to work on the car or check the issues.
I went to Audi and spoke with the service manager checked to see if the battery I replaced could be used on the car. He said yes and it's not possible for it to cause the car to over heat and cause that many issues he also had never even heard of that happening. I went back to Volkswagen and I told them what the service manager told me and the only thing I was told was what do you want us to do about it.....very nonchalant.

Alex is awesome and everyone is very friendly and eager to help . Just be mindful if Robert Jammer is your car sales man . He has a crazy ex she might come vandalize your car like she did to mine, after he post you for making his sale . I’ve reached out to him on multiple occasions came to Nissan to ask him to delete the post but of course he wasn’t there and wouldn’t return my calls . Hopefully the prints that were left behind trace to her who knows he might be the one to go bail her out 🤷🏾♀️

I don’t usually post reviews, especially bad ones, but I one, hate being lied to, and two, feel like attention needs to be drawn to these issues. To begin; when we showed up at 10:05 (they open at 10) both doors were locked but when I called he answered and told me they were open. The doors weren’t unlocked until 10:27.
Two of the cars had issues with starting. Upon trying to start the second one (which started fine the first time I got in) he struggled with it for a moment before coming out and telling me the car was out of gas which I know for a fact was a lie. I had started the car and looked at the gas and mileage not even twenty minutes prior and seen it had 143 miles left till empty. The final car we looked at, 3 out of 4 of the tires were bald. The third or so vehicle we looked at had a leak right in the front and was also leaking anti freeze everywhere. You could also tell one of the vehicles had been badly rear ended and he was still trying to sell it. Would not recommend at all. Be safe buying cars y’all 🫡

The process was easy, and the guys at Select fixed up a few minor things for us that made the truck look perfect! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a nice, used car!

I’m leaving my original post! However, I’m changing my review…. The original post said “Staff was awesome! Please visit Russ Chernitsyn for your vehicle!!! He was great!”
I went to Gatorland Toyota because it is close to home and convenient. Other dealerships had more options to choose from. The biggest concern prior to making my purchase was that the manager told me that they will throw in seat covers because the seats are white and I have dogs and a grand baby.
At closing Russ said he was going to check the seat covers. When he came back he said the covers were ordered and they will be in within two days and the will have them installed, he call me when they come in. A few days go by and I go up there. I speak to Russ and he said the seat covers were ordered and they will be in on Friday. He never called like he said.
I called Toyota early last week and spoke to the manager. He said he was going to speak to Russ and call me back. I still have not received a call.
Yes, I want the covers. But if they were not going to order the covers or had not ordered the covers then tell me. Don’t lie about it!!!! I take them from 5 stars to 2 stars for lying to me or not holding to what they said.
I called Toyota in another city as I was going to be in the area this weekend. They said they do not sell seat covers because of the airbags. They said that the seats will need to be reupholstered.

He sent a very professional video introducing himself putting a name to a face.
I like that.
The day of the appointment Ryan Wise, Sales Manager gave me a call confirming of which at that point I explained our needs as my husband is 4 months post major surgery and he needs a lot of care.
Wow! They made sure of that not from a sale perspective but as human beings.
I briefly shared what I was looking for and why.
On arrival we were met very nicely. Put us at ease as buying vehicles is stressful enough as is.
Eric. Oh my word. He’s good. Put me in the exact vehicle where I looked no further.
A great test drive where we got to know each other.
Just seemed like a nice Sunday drive with a family friend.
Then comes time to seal the deal.
We had two vehicles to trade and I knew the amount that I was looking for.

This dealership is the reason why dealerships have bad raps….they lie; and they are slimey. Was promised; and was sent prestine pics of an Altima seen online; told it was in excellent condition before taking the 1.5 hour drive. Well; it wasn’t; as seen in the pics….they will do anything they can to get you into their dealership….including lie. That’s ugly and bad business. Don’t waste your time; online prices are merely to get you in the door….they are false advertisement; also; they have the highest dealership fees out of any dealer I have visited. Again; was told it was in excellent condition; clearly a lie based on the pics. And all 4 tires had damage to them.

We had to have our vehicle towed as the recall of our fuel pump went out prior to our scheduled appointment and the part(s) were ordered and our vehicle was repaired within two days; they also completed the second recall on the seat. They also kindly rented us a car to drive while ours was being repaired. Very professional but personable too. Highly recommend.

This is THE WORST dealership I have ever been to. After a bad oil change experience I decided to give them another shot for routine maintenance and to check the AC on my <2 year old warranted jeep. The associate (Kristen) routinely talks down to customers and can be very rude. I was told the AC check would take 3-4 days and now on day 11 they just told me they were going to start tearing the dash up (another 3-4 days). The dealer has “no loaners” and a long waitlist for loaner vehicles which is why I left my car with them while I was out of town. With no other choice, I have to pick up my vehicle after 11 days of them doing nothing basically. They also don’t call you back when they say they will. It’s a major shame that this is the only Chrysler jeep dealer in Gainesville. I bought this vehicle out of state and have taken it to multiple different dealerships-never resulting in an experience like this.

Just find Jansen when you arrive or schedule an appointment and you are set! His support team is superb as well, Steven, the Sales Manager and Matt in finance! I located a vehicle at this dealership that I was interested in and bought it!
Without an appointment, Jansen offered to help me and wow - was I fortunate! He was super to work with, extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and a great approach!
I have also had a follow-up with Service and it just reinforced my satisfaction. Phoenix immediately addressed my issue!

The salesman and finance guys were great. I bought it knowing there was a small dent in the front and they would attempt to pull it out but can’t. The main thing I was not happy with was the tires were dry rotted and five days after I drove off the lot I noticed chunks were coming out of them. I did take it and get new tires for $1100. I showed and spoke to the manager at Toyota and was told they did not make any money on the deal and it is as is and not certified. I knew I was going to have yo replace them but did not think it was in five days.

Contacted Davis auto to trade in a 2021 in excellent condition with low miles. I sent photos prior to that showed exactly what condition the vehicle was in as well as the vin#. told I could definitely get x amount of money possibly even more because it was clean. I told the salesman (Ben) that I was only coming if it was a definite because it was a 1.5 hour drive for me. He assured me and said come in so I did. I get there and hand the keys over. Meanwhile I can see my car it wasn’t taken on a test drive nothing to that effect I can see him speaking with the manager. He comes in and tells me they can only give me x amount which was THOUSANDS under what we discussed on the phone. Not only wasting my time but my gas. I was offered 5k more at another dealership. Needless to say, believe the reviews when they say that they lowball on trade ins. The worst part is had they just given me time to verify my loan refund (which another dealership gladly did) they would have sold a car that day. I will never recommend this place and I should have read reviews.

Service Advisor Brett LeGrand is one of most polite, personable, and professional service guys I've encountered. If I could give 11 out of 5 stars, I would. He gives transparency on the service time and work involved, plus gives accurate price quotes.
The facilities are also clean. The waiting areas are spread out and there are lots of seats to choose from. The restrooms are clean as well, so that's a plus.
The only drawback to the service area is that the desks for the advisors could be set up in a way that allows for better foot traffic for when customers walk in. When there's a line of even 5 customers, the way the area is setup, the line would eventually interfere with the waiting room doorway entry.
Thanks for making our dealership change worth it 👍

Very unprofessional and subpar service from Gatorland. For a simple oil change service I was in there from 10.45 to 1.30pm on 23 May, 2023. Such a delay is unacceptable and caused a significant inconvenience to my day. To add to that, while driving back home, I noticed an unusual noise resembling air gushing from somewhere in the vehicle. Also the car's acceleration/pick up did not feel as smooth as before. Upon investigation, I discovered that the clips on the engine air filter housing were not closed properly, as clearly shown in the attached image. This negligence was not only concerning the current state of my vehicle but also posed potential long-term damage.
To address these concerns promptly, I contacted the dealership at 2:49 pm and was told that my advisor would call me back. Unfortunately, they never got back. I made another attempt to reach out after 4 pm, but no one picked up the phone. This lack of communication is deeply disappointing and has further eroded my trust in the service provided by Gatorland Toyota.
I had to get the air filter housing properly closed by a local mechanic and this solved the noise and pickup issue mentioned.
The accumulation of this mistake, and the subsequent lack of accountability has not only ruined my entire day but also cost me 75 bucks extra to get it fixed.

My experience was amazing We arrived a bit early and my sales rep Mark Brannan walked right up and said "If we're here we're open!" That was cool! So he was wonderful no pressure very knowledgeable and kind I felt immediately at ease so I bought a car from him! On our way back with my trade-in a rep from the dealership called to say he found me an even better rate saving me more money! Who does that? Davis Chevrolet does! I can't say enough about how great my experience was I was very appreciative about car shopping here in Jacksonville where I live so we went out of our way and boy was that smart! My son is going to Davis Chevrolet to get a new car too Mark will be his man too Great experience for us!

I had been looking for this specific car, an Acura ILX (a spec package). I found it online in Gainesville which is an hour and a half from me. I looked at the pictures online, did research on a fair price for this vehicle, and decided to give them a call as it was fairly priced.
I bought a 2021 Acura ILX (A-Spec package) with one previous owner with 20,882 miles.
Even got an unlimited mile - 6 year full power train warranty.
Jeff helped me over the phone before I decided to make the trip down there. Mike gave me a call and told me about financing as well as warranty options.
Once I decided I had wanted it, they were able to get me financed through Capital One.
I did find some scratches on the front bumper, but I was given in writing that they will take care of it. They offered to take care of it then, but obviously it would take a few days. Unfortunately I was unable to do that at the time because I needed the car for the week as we were about to go on vacation.
Whole process was pretty smooth.
They were nice and helped me through everything. As I said, it was my first time going through any type of dealership. Usually I try and stay far away from any type of dealers.

My experience was great at US Auto. My salesman was Jack and he was awesome he got me the car I wanted and they even helped me with the down payment. One of the bonuses of this place is you leave with a metal plate not a paper in the window. So you dont have to come back for or make a trip to the DMV everything is done in house. Very convenient. I had a great experience buying a car here! Liliana and John helped make the process very easy and each time I walked in the door, there was always someone to help me immediately. They are very friendly and did not make me feel rushed at all. They helped me set up insurance since I am a first time buyer and offered fair pricing. Additionally, they allowed me to come back within the week of buying and get small things fixed on the car such as replacing the tail lights! I would definitely recommend this place for first time car buyers.

I bought a Mazda 5 here. The condition of this car is very good, and the mileage is very low and maintained very well. We checked the complete vehicle information and conducted a long test drive. During the process, Jeff gave us a detailed introduction to the functions of the vehicle. After we decided to buy, he took us to the bank and insurance company to go through the formalities, and the service was very attentive. After the purchase, they also arranged car wash and refueling services. All in all, this is a very good car buying experience.

I can't recommend this place enough if you are looking for a good, reliable used vehicle for a fair price. Bob was great in helping me find financing with low credit and a low down payment! Significantly lower than other places I had checked into. I'm so happy with my new car and the whole process was so easy. They even took care of having the tag ready for me when I came to get the vehicle so I could just come by and be ready to go. Amazing service. Thank you!!

This is by far the best car buying experience ever!!! Bob awsome. Him and the other staff are very knowledgeable & Professional. I spoke with him on the phone he told me to do the credit app and within 15 minutes he was calling me back and had me approved. I drove an hour and a half from Georgia test drove the car and fell in love. Within 30 minutes I was driving off the lot. Thanks Bob I love my charger!!!!

I owned a lumbering and aging 2007 Toyota Sienna van that had 162K miles on it and was giving me only 15 MPG. After starting a new job, I quickly began to look for a replacement vehicle that was as comfortable as my van but offered better MPG and improved agility for urban driving/commuting and seeing customers. After noticing a "Hyundai Genesis" online, I began to do a wider search for one of these on AutoTrader. Select Motor Car had the best value on a 2013 Genesis for a 200 MILE RADIUS! No one offered a better price / mileage ratio.
When I arrived, it only got better. I was met by a very nice HUMBLE man named John who genuinely listened to me and gave me the keys. Once I drove the Genesis I was sold. Now, it was just a matter of negotiating the best overall deal. After some very friendly negotiations on my trade allowance I signed. Jack Pent was great in handling the financing. He taught me how the big box dealers "sling shot" credit causing your score to drop as much as 20 points. Select doesn't do that. They work with local community lenders. He also helped me obtain a duplicate smart key at 1/2 the price the dealer would have charged. (I checked)
I ended up with a great payment, a great vehicle, AND a great new lower INTEREST rate, plus they even took care of a problem with the vehicle even though it was sold AS IS. These guys are an old school class act. They care about people and they genuinely care about their communities. My hats off to owner Alan for your kindness and generosity and Rafael for his great advice. Also, special kudos to Steve for handling my price / trade negotiations with respect and professionalism. That can be rare in the car biz. Usually it is high pressure. Not at Select. Smooth and professional. I highly recommend Select Motor Car for anyone looking for a GREAT VALUE -and- GREAT SERVICE. A rare combo!

After a long weekend of car shopping I by chance stopped at Auto Plaza. I'm beyond happy I did. This was the first place out of big and small dealers that was straight forward. This was by far the best deal in town and we went everywhere. I got the car I wanted with LOW miles and an excellent price. No run around. I dealt with Bob and Ali and I'm not disappointed at all. They were both very honest not pushy and really wanted to help us. I sincerely reccomend trying them before shopping elsewhere I know I'll be back for my next car.

My hubby and I have bought three used cars in less than three years and this was the best experience we have ever had with a car dealer, probably EVER!! My daughter desperately need a good reliable car at a good price that she could afford since she was young and they went above and beyond in my experience. We had been to a few places in that area and just had down right bad or not great experiences (Dodge dealership's sales manager swore at us as we left and we left because they just were not listening to what she needed or wanted) two other dealers told us extremely high interest rates but we stopped here finally and it was a super decision. Bob and the crew worked so hard to get a great rate for us. He knew my daughter wanted to drive home that same night but knew he could get her the perfect financing the next day and he did. I will refer them to anyone I know of looking for a used car and will go there again. Their doc fees are the best I have seen anywhere, very reasonable and they care for the cars that they sell and put out there for their customers. You may want to try others first to see what the competition has to offer but I really suggest you stop off here and see what they can do for you, I don't think anyone would regret it. I have bought many cars from dealers and this was what I feel the best, least pressure purchase we have ever made. I felt that they truly wanted what was best for my daughter and not for them. Give them a try, they have great reviews for a reason.
