Nice and clean, an easy walk. The lake itself is 2km around, or you can lengthen your lap to 5.5km easily by following 3 separate paths that each link back to the lake. It’s also a great starting point to link up with several other walking paths in Forest Lake. Very easy walk, flat until you reach the parking. Great wildlife around. A couple playgrounds for kids plus an outdoor gym. Public toilets at the main entrance are good, however the toilets near the primary school side of the lake don’t have a working handwashing tap.

It's a nice clean place, kids are always playing in the play ground. BBQ areas, park benches placed all around. Nice big shade trees. Lots of cafes, restaurants and novelty shops. A few pubs, the cinemas and even a woolies nice and close.
Beautiful park with a lake and bike paddling available in the lake… There are 7 walking trails in the park with easy to tough walking levels. There is also a model train museum that one can enjoy here. There are multiple restaurants in the park, which are mostly open till 4 pm. It’s a great place for picnic in large groups.
How good is this playground!! Suitable from babies to older kids!! Simi enclosed with picnic areas, water fountain, beautiful foreshore walking paths etc all next to it. Toilets nearby too. Beautiful!

Great place to see dolphins playing
One of the greatest experience visiting the park and the visitor centre. There is a small museum which has great displays. There is no fee to visit the museum. Would have been a great place for kids. The cafe inside the visitor centre is amazing and usually gets very busy for the lunch on weekends. There is a railway track close to the visitor centre with Emerald Station for Puffing Billy within walking distance.

Beautiful place. Been coming here for ages. They've now made it $8 For entire day parking. Can whoever's taking care of the place keep the toilet clean. I had guests from overseas and it was embarrassing how dirty the toilets were.
Nice and quite good place for the whole family. Nice walk around the lake. The path is wheelchair and pram friendly. Toilets are close by and maintained. Playground equipment is well maintained. Plenty of parking space during the week day. Bbq areas are close by as well. Plenty of wildlife to see as well. Highly recommend going to have a look 😊😊. Dogs are allowed only on leash. Plenty of seats around the lake as well.
A beautiful Victorian park that we used to it! It’s our first choice for having a picnic! There are pedal boats that you can hire and walk on the river! Also, you can bring your bikes here, and ride among beautiful trees in the fresh forests! Watching the Billy train is also another attraction in this park! Highly recommended!
It's a big playground, and was beautifully decorated from 22nd Dec to 7th Jan. It was a long walk to it's east end but with colourful lights on the way.
Beautiful location to spend the whole day in the garden. You can catch the Puffing Billy train from here too.

Shops offer good food. Beautiful location for picnic and sun-set. Booked dolphin cruise, loved watching Dolphins so close to us. Kids loved it. Beach is kids friendly.

Safe ,shady fun space for kids .Our grandkids had a great time exploring the surroundings . The barbecues and gazebos were well utilized .Would have given 5 stars but the toilets were NOT nice .
Really like this leafy, shady playground for the kids, with lots of little pergolas to sit under.

Good place for families and birthday's. Can bring your food or enjoy barbie at the foreshore. Scenic view of apartments and boats makes it special. There are too many flies in summer and haven't seen any arrangements by management to stop them. So it is recommended to go either early morning in summer or don't go😁 thats my personal advise. We did celebrate birthday of my kids there but flies ruined it off so took picture of cake and packed up so no pictures of view, maybe will go later to take photo only 😉
Beautiful experience we had coming up on the Puffing Billy to this wonderful little lake and green grounds little paddle boats, a restaurant for drinks and food. And a beautiful gift ship and an array of large paintings available to buy. You will also see some birds.

Great playground for kids under 10 years. Lots of open space for the older ones too. It is also fenced around so the kids will always be kept safe. Toilet is nearby so you that's another plus. BBQ place available too. We went on a Wednesday lunch and it wasn't crowded. Great for extended family to hang out together.
The kids had a great time on the playground. They discovered this pole nearby. I'mwondering if it is some kind of Geocache?
Took an impromptu walk in this lovely wetlands area. The boardwalk and path are well maintained and suitable for all ages and abilities. Lots of birdlife, and spotted many waterdragons.
Short a star because of some litter and dumping along the path, but otherwise a delightful spot for some exercise and peace.

There are many beautiful and exquisite animal-themed paintings inside, which are very beautiful. The interior wood decoration makes visitors relax, and there are also cute puppets in the gift shop.
Beautiful outdoor location, lots of fresh air and able to have numerous celebrations at once without interference. Needs more parking though. Lots of spots to sit, table and chairs, deck chairs and a gazebo for celebrations.

This is a really beautiful parkland and it’s an idyllic spot to enjoy nature, with plenty of picnic areas and playgrounds.
I take my beautiful daughter and family to the parkland on weekends to just relax and enjoy the nature and playground as she loves to spend hours with other kids at this place especially in the morning and evening.

Very modern facility, Awesome art work for sale . If I had $ would have brought the lot. Waited 30mins for our meal, Can say very busy. Would think about packing a pinic, So when you stop over on the puffy billy you actually get time to look at the surround. Felt as though we had missed out from having not much time once we ate and went to the toilet.

A beautiful and well maintained park. There are many varieties of water birds, including waterhens, teals, yellow fronted lapwings, egrets, black swans, black headed ibis, and pelicans. You can take a relaxing walk around the lake or sit and enjoy the beauty. There are benches to sit down.

The main attraction was fantastic, however, the customer service and care for the people is severely lacking. My family and I were stranded for 2.5 hours at one of the stops in the rain after being told there will be busses and taxis.
Not 1 person from the visitor centre asked if we were ok, but were very clear that it was closing.

Rail enthusiasts dream. A narrow gauge heritage railway that takes you for an 40 minute-ish ride up the mountains around emerald lake. Came here a few years ago when this was a tiny venue. This has blossomed to a well appointed tourist attraction. In the summer there are beautiful views around the mountain and trestle bridges and you can sit with feet dangling out of the windows. In the wintertime things get quite a little colder, but for the steamies this is still a fun adventure. There is a decent size visitor center with hearty food and information about the area. At a choice dates in the winter there is a train of lights event where everything is beautifully lit up. Definitely a must come attraction for people with a love of steam trains.

Great playground! My family hosted our annual Easter Egg Hunt here ! It was such an amazing park especially if you have toddlers as the park is fully fenced off , great bbq area , alot of shade ! Family orientated! My kids loved the flying fox ☺️ A MUST : PLEASE BRING INSECT REPELLENT !
Lovely location, my favourite park to visit and explore. Beware of parking as sometimes the ticket machine is down. Its also a cashless machine (tap and go)
The lake is small, but the views are nice, really love the fresh air here!
It's a nice, clean park. Visitors in general look after it upon leaving. Great addition to the kids play area. Outdoor gym. Great seating area. Beautiful flower arch. Plenty of open and shade areas.

A beautiful reserve, with a stunning walk through grassed areas next to the water. Unfortunately, the mosquitoes are terrible at this time of year. Repellant is a necessity. Many birds to be seen! Stunning!
This is an excellent play area for small and bigger kids. Grassed picnic areas and bbqs, views of the estuary with plenty of trees for shade. With the addition of the pool area in the estuary what more could you ask for.
It was a public holiday and car park was almost full but luckily we arrived bit early so was easy to find a parking spot near the entrance.
Love this park as it is similar to parks in Toowoomba city (garden city). My kids loved it as well.

This park is great now as the Logan Council has updated the amenities New surveillance cameras New toilets covered gym area, New covered kids play area all new equipment, new seating, New electric Barbeques, there's the Memorial area for those who sacrificed there life's so we could have a better life it's a Beautiful spot for a get together whether it's family or friends whatever it's a lovely place to go Check it out folks it's a peaceful place...

Easy to use ticket machine, cashless, just put in your car rego. Big car park, no problem finding a spot even on a busy day
Lovely place to stroll around with the family. There are a few play grounds in the area for the kids. Path is shared for walkers and cyclist. Pretty chill place.
There is free live music every first and forth Sunday of each month from 3pm to 6pm. What a great way to unwind.

Great fun for kids of all ages! Highly reccomend visiting with a picnic rug and some refreshments. Toilets are also on site and water fountains.
It's closed and been trashed
The park is undergoing work with a new lawn planted and a kids play area underway. My kids and I find it a nice relaxing place. The spaciousness of the park, allowing kids to run about or play soccer, combined with footpath around the park that kids like to ride their bikes. Then we have the trees where we enjoy picnics. Kids play areas make it even more enjoyable for the kids. There are shaded sitting areas for family get together as well. There is also a fountain area which puts a nice finish to the entire park.
You would have to be a complete and utter moran to visit this supposed nature reserve. All of the photographs have been edited not to show all the graffiti. If you enjoy watching wildlife in the central reservation of the Central Pacific Highway, this is the place for you. No visit would be complete without a visit to the McDonald's drive through. Do yourself a favour and spend time visiting somewhere else

Nice, fun spot. Good playground allowing for lots of imagination. Toilets and barbecue area. There was a coffee van there Saturday morning too.

Quite popular day trip destination for Melbournians, especially days with good weather. They are all ticket car park, it’s not easy to get one when I’m weekends or public holidays.

As peaceful and pleasant as a tiny village park should be.
Me and the family went here and had a blast! The place is looking amazing with a fresh coat of paint that has been applied by the local youth. The obstacle course of getting through the barricade and dodging the used syringes just added to the element of fun and the kids particularly liked the Australia shaped mosquito hatchery. Will definitely be going again!
Nice Reserve by the estuary with something for everybody. Nice smooth walkways wondering along the edge of the estuary.

Great spot for an evening stroll, good little playground for kids with a couple of fall hazards for smaller children so keep them supervised. Rope maze is good fun! Great pathways with some beautiful scenery along the way. Toilets weren't very clean, and the carparks weren't busy.

Lovely scenery, clean bbqs and toilets, great for the kids with lots of lawn and play equipment and even has table tennis and bats, might want to bring your own ping pong balls
Went here for the first time today. Word of warning: the sprinkles go off outside the entrance wetting the path on Wednesday at 9am, inside two areas of the playground wetting half the equipment and picnic tables at 10 and 10.30am.
Other than that surprise, it was a good playground. Lots if shade, and lots of sun. Fully enclosed, lots of things for little kids to do and play with. You can take a blanket and have a picnic, public toilets right outside the gate. You can stay all day if you take everything you need.

Visited this place for the first time today. It has excellent trails for both walking and biking. Lots of birds around.
Love it. First time here. Its winter and not much around but we still had some close encounters with some fabulous wildlife. Even the Red Bellied Black Snake came out to say hi.
This is a more acceptable park. There is lots to see and do here. Dogs and children will love the freedom here and their is a water feature closer to the front which makes for some nice aesthetics. The old playground has been accompanied by a new one with intriguing play concepts such as a giant xylophone. Overall, I would recommend this park to anyone with pets or anyone who wants to catch a breath of the wild.
Fantastic. Beautiful boardwalk. Fabulous trees. Take binoculars for sure to see the bats and the spoon bills and numerous other birds. A must for the to do list

Quiet walk with wide paths,summertime though becomes a mosquito breeding ground and cyclists who can't read will ride along the path that can cause problems around blind corners
A rather special place that was thankfully saved from the all powerful property developers. Tranquil and quiet, a flat path takes you over bridges and above the wetlands to give a beautiful view of the wildlife.
Apart from the large number of birds and lizards, youay be lucky to see a wallaby.

Great little hidden bush park tucked away in the suburbs.
This little play ground was very surprising, great playground equipment all new by the looks of it, the only problem with it is there is no where close to the playground equipment that parents can sit and watch their children play, yes they have a table and benches set up under a shaded roof but it’s on the other side of the foot path and no toilets to be seen.
Hopefully that is on their To Do List 😉

Great spot with great views - hidden a way, so I've never seen many people here. If you're looking for somewhere with piece and quiet then you can't go wrong with this pot.
