I love such a family place. Nice Dome cafe just across the street. Beautiful beach and good vibe. Keep spending my time over the weekends there. You'd love it!

Very friendly staff at the pro shop and very accommodating with the tee times to fit in with the inclimate weather. Course itself was good fun for a 18 handicapper like myself with some challenging approaches to the greens. Overall, thoroughly enjoyed it!
It's a small beach with less people Clean Sand green sea. You can see Rescue guards on duty here. Small cafe available

Beautiful beach, less people
Staff are great, friendly, and very professional.
The course is in great condition, and greens are soft and responsive.
The only comment is that people playing, please fix your divots on the greens.
I went expecting to play on a world class course but it was a very below average experience. the greens were pathetic, dints everywhere and double booking t times was a mess. Overall for $90 to play on this course was a let down.👎
Played Friday morning and was so disappointed. $90 for a round of 18 and the greens were pathetic, divots, thatched grass patches and dirt patches was very underwhelming. Also slow play due to over booking tee times.
Really wonderful place to have a stroll. We saw lots of kangaroos, three koala and four tawny frogmouth. Beautiful place in nature on the busy/built up Goldcoast.
Top spot for an outdoor concert or music day......in the right conditions.
Relatively easy to get to via the light rail network.
Thoroughly enjoyed the Red Hot Summer Tour event February 25th 2024.
Limited shade areas nearer to the stage area, on a super hot day with an absolutely unforgiving Sun ☀️.
A personal choice to choose shelter as a safety measure to counteract the sun's punishing heat meant no view of the stage and some reduction in sound quality.
Its a scenic little lighhouse. We visited on a slighlty rainy day and gave a completely different look comapred to a sunny day. The walk to the lighhouse it easy and you will find many wallabies on the way.
Great place for a swim & and surprisingly not too busy for GC.
Loads of free parking. Outdoor 🚿 & 🚻
The only fault is the smell of sulphur as you pass the pumping site.
The drive was very scenic. Such a beautiful place and lots of spots to explore by walk. You can witness some wallabies and birds too.

Absolutely gorgeous spot which provides for all ages. Family fun at no cost with snorkelling, and shallow waters for young ones. Fishing areas for the keen fisherman and plenty of beach space for the sunbakers or relax with a book. Lifeguards on duty.

Wow, I love this park. The idea for a family picnic next to the beach and the park was amazing.

Not like it once was. However, weather has been a big factor! A friend and I tee'd off 3pm last Friday and managed to get 18 holes in before it got too dark. Unfortunately, all the bunkers were out of play, and they had a temporary green on the 4th, but what most disappointment was the lack of golfers repairing their own divots and pitch marks on all greens and fairways, because of this, putting on all the greens became like an obstacle course!
I can't wait until we have a bout of fine weather, which can hopefully allow grounds staff to bring this course back to its former glory.
The course has a super layout with many challenging holes. There were glimpses of that out here today, let's hope it returns to its all-out glory.
I paid $69 for 18holes walking, which is a little steep for the current course conditions. If it was in its former glorious condition, this would be a bargain!
Lovely light house.
Amazing views all around.
If your lucky you will get to see wallaby's on the walking tracks.

It is always a great space for the whole family. I don't know why nobody bothered to repair the slide. After all, it's just school holidays, right? Additionally, the great looking sun sails are useless. There is no actual sun protection over the playground. It's really a pity that the great play space doesn't seem to be on the priority list of the city.
Loved this course. Fairways are pristine, trouble is punishing but not unfair.
Amazing walk, saw hundreds of kangaroos and 3 koalas when we visited. Just have to be patient and keep looking up to see the koalas

Get there early for the best swimming and snorkelling conditions. Especially at low tide and with low wind.
Gets very busy at weekends and school holidays!

Yanchep Lagoon is a beautiful beach place to visit in Perth. It is a 45 min drive from the main city towards the north. The lagoon is considered safe for swimming and even for young kids. The place is equipped with functional outdoor showers and spacious indoor washrooms with separate places for showers. This place is also considered great for snorkelling and is popular among tourists. We did not see many cafe or food places near the beach but there are fast food Center options nearby. The washrooms are auto locking after 8 pm onwards and open at 6 am.
Griffiths Island Lighthouse is a great site. Not too long just standing 13 metres above sea level, no public access to go inside, great point for taking pictures if you are on the island. This is the top attraction point in the Port fairy.

The walk to the light house starts from Griffiths Island car park which you will find on Ocean Drive. On the start there is a rotunda full of information on the area’s history and geology. If you want to go straight out to the lighthouse, the shortest route is an easy 2.45km return walk along the North Track that follows the Moyne River on one side and the shearwater bird colony reserve on the other. The longer walk is approx 2.9km return and it's a bit challenging which I will try next time. No public toilet on the island nearby is next to Martins Point.
Very busy but amazing turqoius see through crystal clear water, wonderful for kids to play, stunning snorkelling area if you head out of the lagoon a bit more, saw heaps of large fish and schools of fish. Puffers like to nibble on toes and feet but not to harm. Amazing beautiful scenery 😍
Great, easy walk with amazing views of the coast and natural rocky formations! Clean, not too busy and many sub routes you can take to explore the area. Highlights were the sugar loaf and the stairs path down to the rocky coastline.

Can easily find a quiet patch to spend the day. However, all the play areas and rock pools are always jam-packed, even during the week.
This is also where whanganui day is now celebrated.

The fairways are in great condition but greens are inconsistent. After heavy rain the bunkers were packed down and solid to play out of. Expect a bit more for $140. However can’t fault the service. The course Marshall, Blaze was very polite and moved along some of the slower groups.
The lighthouse is located close to town and accessible from a nearby car park after short 15-20 minute walk. We visited on a cool summer day but it was very blustery (hang on to your headgear!). There are picnic grounds and places to fish nearby. A public loo is located near the park/playground.
This beach ⛱️ was my favourite in Perth. It stretched for a couple of kilometres, and there was barely anyone there. Nice clear waters, but there is the possibility of sharks or Trevor as he is known by locals who frequent the shallows occasionally.
Played today, after all the storms and it was still in great shape. Interesting layout with lots of tee options. Good test, and lovely members to play with.

One of the best snorkelled spots in Perth region. Best in mornings (windy in afternoon) at low spring tide or low water in general when swell is calm. Cafe on road above Lagoon does decent takeaway coffee
Stunning views all round of rocky cliffs and the coast! Hearing sounds of the waves crashing against the rocks makes it a super soothing spot to sit and ponder life.

We took the little ones, though the section we went on was not pram friendly, there were a lot of stairs to carry the pram up and down. Beautiful lookout points and a little windy so be sure to bring a jacket just in case.

Played here when ultimate match play ran an event. The course was very well maintained and the greens were in very good condition.
Month of visit: December 2023

This is a must go place if you live in Brisbane or Goldcoast, it is free and more importantly for me as an international student is that it is public transportation friendly!!

You can see many kangaroos everywhere! There is also koalas but its more difficult to spot.
If you like nature, kangaroos and other animals i think you would love this!

Dont forget to bring your own drink and most importantly insect repellent, the mosquitoes there are annoying!
Okay so on a positive note I’d like to start off by say that the lay out for this course is amazing. Now as far as the condition of the course…. You would think if you’re paying $115 for a round of golf, the very basics would be done around the course. One of the holes was fully shutdown for maintenance work (maybe don’t charge full price if I can’t play the full course). Workers very loud with hedge trimmers and other tools when people are trying to tee off as well. There are much better courses in the area for better pricing as well.

Cool go see the flying foxes are still living there although the population seems much smaller than it was over 10 years ago.

Nice war memorials, senior gardens and view of the canal. Nice green space, wish the walk was longer and more to explore.

This place is absolutely stunning!!!! I could not believe how crystal clear the water was. The lagoon is a perfect little stop for people with babies to go and enjoy a bit of sun and sea. There are no waves, it’s calm and peaceful. Lots of people paddle boarding. There are toilets nearby that are clean and useable. There is no food or drink for sale nearby so be sure to pack a picnic basket to last the day.

Unbelievable golf course and layout.
Such a fantastic design that is a lot of fun off the tee. The greens are fast and hard but run perfectly.
This was the favorite course of our five round Gold Coast tour, highly recommend playing.

Amazing island near Port Fairy. Lots of birds to see and the odd wallaby too. The path is a loop with one side being easier than the other. The longer route will take you through some rocks and a 400m stretch along a beach.
Wonderful beach to go for a walk! Enjoy the day with friends/ families, enjoy the sunshine and sound of the waves
This park is super fun, friendly, and family oriented. There are occasional local live music bands play here which make you feel very calm and relaxed. Here, you will find two separate nice quality basketball courts that can be very busy, but you can always ask to join with other players. The children playground and the grass area are high, allowing you to oversee into the ocean. Opposite the park is a hotel with a Cafe which you can enjoy a cup of coffee.

This place is buzzing with lots of fun activies. High recommended.

Beautiful sheltered place to relax and chill. It’s protected by the reef, so it’s safe for children to swim. Hardly any waves, so it’s more ideal for families. The visibility is crystal clear and there is a bunch of rock pools to explore. It can get packed in the weekends, so arrive early to get a park.
It takes a little walk to arrive at the lighthouse. Not sure whether one can climb up or not. Would be a nice place to take a walk or for photography on a sunny day. Today's weather was a bit too cloudy.
A wonderful space to explore one's soul. Find your reality. Welcome to your life.

Great park for the kids. Perfect for school aged. A bit too challenging for little ones I feel, though there is some fun stuff for them like the sand pit and water play. Toilets close by, coffee and takeaway across the road, plenty of parking when it's not swimming weather. Bbqs, picnic tables and gazebos, grass to kick a ball or the basketball hoops.
Absolute paradise

Love this place, little piece of heaven on earth. Play ground cafees, beautiful beach specially around summer time. This is my go-to beach the whole summer 😅.
We love this park! It has 2 play areas for the little kiddies and a half basketball court for the older kids. Plenty of shade from trees as well as from gazebos, perfect for picnics. It also has BBQ facilities, toilets and shower rooms.
Very nice and well maintained golf course. I played end July during winter. Fairways and greens watered and very playable. Greens are fast. Clubhouse ok, bar and dining area. Both inside and outside patio dining. Change rooms stocked with all the usual stuff. Will definitely play there again. Ample parking with a driving range. Golf shop onsite.
Really nice walk. It was high tide, making it unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues as I has to climb over some rocks on the beach to get past as the ocean was up to high to go around. But you can make it to the Lighthouse if you take the shorter path to the left.

Another Greg Norman design that doesn’t disappoint and makes you really think about club selection on many holes. Course was in great condition when we played though tee position was a bit too far forward. It looked like a totally different challenge from the back tees. Really enjoyed playing here. Only small negative was that the clubhouse kitchen is not open all afternoon so there’s no guarantee of a meal after your round. Pity as the food is actually very nice.
This is one of my favourite beaches in Perth's north. For the most part, it is a calm, and beautiful beach. When it's wavy, it's the perfect swell for groms to practice on. We even saw a ray swim past us once! A lovely beach (I just wish it had a bigger car park!) 🐚

Unfold a table cloth, get your portable gas cooker, and cook up garlic prawns while overlooking the water.. add a packet of your pre mixed salad and a wine.. That's what I'd call a chilked arvo. There are also electric BBQS.

Well maintained gardens. Lovely playgrounds for the kids. Plenty of picnic spots. Water body nearby. Trails all around the gardens. Clean toilets.
Plenty parking. Highly recommend
One amazing place - specially for walkers, hikers and runners. A great escapade for a lovely family outing. This place is reachable via train. Ample car parking available.
This place holds a unique value showing how earth was formed millions of years ago. This places still have those boulders that swept away to the shore when the ice melted during ice age.
This consists of walking areas and steps. Not recommend for people with mobility issues as the steps are very steep at certain points . Overall a fantastic view throughout with the sea facing on our side and we scroll along .

There are places where u can drink water , so keep ur Sunnies, suncreams, water bottle and great shoes handy . Free parking , free entry .. U can keep walking till u reach Glenelg 👌
Enjoy !!

Amazing beach, heaps of free parking and lots of playgrounds for kids not far
I was attracted by the magnificent landscape, harmony between the deep sea, high hills and cliffs from the first time I set foot here.
The rugged crimson cliffs satisfy prying eyes.
The boardwalk consists of many steps on a hill that runs parallel to the shore.
It is an ideal place to immerse yourself in nature, be infatuated with the sound of waves crashing on the shore or the beautiful sunset.
Suitable to go with family, friends or even go alone.
It's only 30km from CBD.
How amazing!

Went for a walk this morning (~8am) and it was so beautiful and calm. We walked by the rock pools and pulled out some toys and other rubbish left behind. Also found a couple of starfish 😍
Mullas can't be beaten! Holds the crown for best beach in perth in my books! 6am till 9am is the best time to head down. Water is beautiful, calm and crystal clear!

Great little beach for the kids to play in the water, nice calm and shallow water.

One part has a little jetty out in the water that you can swim to and jump off of.

The other part has the GC Aqua park which is $25 for a 50 minute session per person.

Very close to Australia fair, plenty of parking and facilities.
Great place to go for a walk, in the nature by the fresh breeze of the ocean.
Clean
Walkway cater for pram along the coast. However there are steps if intend to go up the hills.
Very family friendly with great park, drinking water, kiosk, all with sunset view.
The Glades Golf Club is an amazing golf course. The fairways are just stunning and the greens are just as good. Plenty of challenges on each hole for all levels. Was such a beautiful day out. The club house is really nice and the staff were really friendly. Great golf course for a weekend round. Highly recommended you won't be disappointed.

I think this is one of the best park on the Gold Coast. Great place for everyone! Nice to walk around, picnic. Nice playground, BBQ, lovely garden. Clean public toilet. Lots of car park space too.
Very lovely place🌻🌹🌿🥀🌼🌴🍀🌳
Update 20 Nov 2021, there is new garden called Seniors Garden, there are many beautiful garden attractions mostly dedicated to Dementia Australia from Cedar House Mudgeeraba , I am very impressed with this new addition. I have been here about 11 times mostly passing through on my bike. It’s such an interesting park it’s multi purpose firstly a war memorial so some great history it view, secondly it’s home to the largest bat colony’s on the Gold Coast and lastly it’s a beautiful manicured garden with a huge variety of flowers also there is about 6 Barbecue s and riverside seating as well as a lush forest walk all in one small area... right in the city, so cool. Plenty of parking or you can just ride your bike or better walk so you miss nothing , bring your camera.

It is a lovely beach, soft and fine sand, you can walk maybe 10 meters inside the sea and not have the water to more than 15cm in height, the waves are moderate maybe useful to learn to surf. It is a recommended place to go with the family, has restrooms toilets and free public showers near the beach. It is easy to access by bicycle or car and has parking. I liked going there, I will return with my family.
