We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms overlooking the pool. The bed was extremely soft and comfortable and everything was very new. On the downside, there was minimal comforts ie a small bin for rubbish wouldn't go astray, and a chair to sit on inside instead of having to sit on the pristine white bed linen to watch tv. Mobile phone reception was non existent and the wifi cut in and out making the tv pixelate. On the upside, very accommodating reception staff, and very efficient air con. We were going to stay an extra night but decided to head home as we were missing our furbabies.
Five stars for the beach view rooms... ahhhmazing !!! New renovations are taking this place to a whole new level of beautiful. If you feel like you want to be in the movie Beaches, rent the ocean room!
A wonderful location and great staff, especially Courtney. The view from our balcony was spectacular. My family and I will definitely return. Highly recommend ocean view.

Booked online and paid for a room. When I arrived they said they don’t have the booking despite me showing the bank transaction with all of the correct information for Don Pancho. I asked to at least receive a refund and they said they have to talk to management and that they’ll speak to them in just over an hours time. ??why not just call them on the spot. Now we have been left with no place to stay and out of pocket what we paid.

Unsure if the same problem but a lady was on the phone next to us demanding a refund saying she’d been on the phone for ages so the place just seems extra dodgy. Don’t risk it and book elsewhere.
I actually worked at Don Pancho 38 years ago, so I tried to book but left it too late.

So I popped down today to have a look at what's changed in the last 4 decades.
The Don is having major renovations done and is looking fabulous...
They still have more to do, but it'll be amazing when it's finished.
The quick walk around brought back so many happy memories and I look forward to actually booking in (in advance) next time.

The bed was comfortable and the room clean but the join between the wall and the roof has cracks in numerous places, its in need of improviement. I was awoken at 3 am by a rackett cased by patrons milling outside the gaming area for some time, after waiting for it to qieten down I had to resort to calling management twice to have security resolve the noise problem.

Food was pricey for what it was but have never paid so much for a drink. $10 for a light beer. Is definitely not affordable. Paid $7 at another hotel Saturday
This was a big disappointment - very bland flavour and just incredibly oily. This was the first time in a long time we actually couldn't eat it, and when the wait staff asked how it was, there didn't seem to be much interest that we found it inedible.

There is also almost nothing for vegetarians - just a mushroom salad, a halloumi salad, or a margherita cheese pizza.

I would not want to go here again. However, the recent renovations are nice and I like the fireplace in the middle.

I'd consider going again only if there was a complete do-over of the menu with attention to quality ingredients.
We came for dinner this evening, we had mixed grill. It was really nice, service was excellent, staff were really professional. Especially Jack who had an excellent phone manner when we booked. He was extremely helpful and friendly.🙂

Went out for tea last night 7th July, the food was excellent and plenty of it. The Staff could not be faulted they were courteous and obliging and the meals came out really quickly after we had all ordered. Thank you for the service it was my 82nd Birthday and two of my Grand Children's birthday, so very special. Myself and Family will most definately recommend the The Lonny for a good night out
We have been coming here for years and have never had any issues. The new menu for this winter has had almost nothing for vegetarians to eat. A salad or a cheese pizza. When I asked the staff about this I was told that they needed to make cuts to the menu to stop food wastage. I suggested that they still needed to have vegetarian options and was told that there were not enough vegetarians to warrant them having any options. I would think remaining an inclusive restaurant would have been a consideration but unfortunately not.
Came for dinner tonight and could not complain. The meal was amazing. Fresh, crunchy and delicious.
The service fantastic and the place is looking amazing.
Found the guy working to be super efficient. He even noticed we needed a take away container without asking, just bought to our table when collecting plates.
Have to have take away, the meal was huge
10/10 we will be back!!
Thanks again!!
A great place to stay, even though there are a lot of renovations going on. We had a two bedroom fully contained ocean view apartment.... It was amazing. Plenty of room to move about and very clean and comfortable. We stayed for 3 nights and would definitely go back.
Lunch at Wollongong Golf Club, wait times for meals were on the long side. Meals were good but on the pricey side, 55$ for steak, 27$ for bangers and mash.
Outlook is fantastic.

We recently moved from Sydney and this has become our local. We've had multiple amazing meals here! It's a beautiful pub with a gorgeous pavilion style eatery out the back that we love to sit in. Every time we've come the staff have been amazing, so friendly and always ensure the kids have a fun activity book to play with. The food is AMAZING! The serves are large for the price and always taste beautiful. Pictured a few of our favourite dishes. We can't go past the chicken caesar salad, southern fried chicken burger and of course beef schnitzel! We'll be back!
Great service, lovely menu. Wonderful meals
Stayed at the apartment for 2 nights 3 days. Very clean with excellent views

Great view over the golf course to the ocean. Service was fantastic and a great assortment of excellent quality meals.
My friends and I had lunch at The Deck on Friday 19th, January. Everyone of us had a delicious meal that was beautifully presented. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were very friendly and attentive to any of our needs or requests. We will definitely sine here again.

Always good staying at the 19th Hole Best Westin Wollongong. However the rooms need an upgrade. Curtains had holes in them. We were moved to a new room as the ac wasn't working due to storm damages. The new room was smaller than the original.
Disappointed apartment not as stated as booked initially for the first two days of the visit there was a bad stench we had to leave all the doors and windows open to get rid of the smell. Pool was not operating we needed it for health reason and we where not properly notified . We where told by a residence that the pool was having issues for many months. There where no fly screens. On the plus side it was a large apartment, with beautiful views and good parking. Worth two and a half stars.

Wonderful quiet location in the beautiful Grampians, the cabins are very clean and fully equipped, great bbq area, nice little pool and playground. Wildlife right outside the window. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It's a must stay for those travelling here

Absolutely loved our stay at Halls Gap Log Cabins, the hosts were really friendly, the cabins were extremely clean and almost everything was provided. The little one loved the playground and the BBQ area very clean and again utensils provided. Seeing the kangaroos and emu each day was so good. We will definitely be coming back.

We booked a 3 Bedroom, and only one bedroom has an aircon machine in it. There’s only 2 showers/toilets and you can’t shower at the same time otherwise they are stone cold!!! The pool and spa is great though and the reception staff was so nice. They’re super huge and spacious rooms with a nice view of the water.
We stayed in an apartment booked via AirBnB. On the 25th Sept, I went down to the Manager and asked where in the local area could we park a second car for 1 night, as we only had 1 space with our apartment. He was extremely unhelpful and rude, and said he didn't know and had nothing to do with AirBnB. I explained I was happy to park offsite somewhere and was looking for a recommendation for somewhere secure, to which his response was a big shoulder shrug and "what do you want me to do, pull a parking space out of .....". I was so shocked, I simply had to walk away.
Unbelievably poor customer service!
Booked a twin room, emailed me 4 days before trip saying they didnt have one available and I would have to pay an additional $25 per night for a camp bed.
When queried they simply said 'rooms were not guarenteed'.
Honestly couldnt believe what I was reading.
Cancelled booking and booked the Rydes for less.
Will never return
Great location, but, inspect room before accepting upgrade to room. We got upgraded (for additional cost )to a city view room with a construction crane close to our window. Handy for early morning wake up. No USB power outlets in room.
Have been staying in here a lot, quite like it. Since May, the management decided to have room cleaning once every 2 nights, that's fine, as we were informed, but the annoying part is that they didn't carry out the cleaning as pledged. The Gym used to be good, but for the last two nights, one day there was no cup for Drinking Water, another night there were no cup and the drinking water thank was empty. Best part was during the session, there was a cleaner walk in to clear up rubbish, but no action were taken on the cups and drinking water. My take was: it's probably not his job! Last thing to note, the carpet in the room doesn't feel "good" to walk on and found hairs (not mine) at around the sink, it's not a good feeling. The only consolation is that the front desk service is good as usual
The check-in process was smooth. We requested a quiet room which we get it. They said housekeeping cleaning the room in 2 day which acceptable but no clean up, that's fine. We only stay 3 nights.
The room has everything needed, missing a slipper, should give extra towel if no service in the room.
The Location at Bourke st made the commute very convenient to everywhere near the cbd. The price/value for a 1 bedroom was really good as well and came in handy when travelling with a kid.

The room carpets are slightly run down along with the microwave in our room.

Overall, would come back again due to the convenience and the restaurants nearby.
Central location, staff was nice for our 4 day stay
However, rooms are used quite fairly & room service is poor like other reviews said. On our 2nd day, towels were not changed & bin still not changed. Had to ask for it, at least came quite fast.

Stunning location. Fantastic cabins.
Better than we expected.
Like an old world charmed log cabin as nature intended with a beautiful touches.
For the price, it was brilliant.
Oh and the fireplace was magnificent and very warm.
We will definitely be returning. Thanks

Utterly riddled with cockroaches, big holes in the doors allowing anyone access without a key, and the building manager claimed the building isn't governed by Australian law but his law after assaulting me.
Great place and great location.
Overall, it was a decent experience for the price. Room size is big, and the location is really good, especially if you are staying here for a game at the stadium. Certain aspects need improvement, like the shower in the bathroom and the microwave.
Staff were great; the front desk manager called me the day before arrival about my room request, which was great service; we stayed in an Executive Studio on the 22nd floor with an amazing view (despite the current cranes!); very comfortable bed; but the room felt very outdated and the wash basin was in the main bedroom and not in the bathroom. The hotel (and room) felt very much like student accommodation to us. Apparently they do have long term accommodation (I asked) - and this was apparent. Housekeeping failed to service our room - even after asking - and the following day they left behind all our used wet towels after servicing. Can't recommend.
This is a good location since we arrived in the CBD using the Skybus and this is near the terminal. There is a convenient back entrance too. The room was good and clean. Only complaint is the drain in one of the showers is very tiny and so you couldn't have the shower on full blast.
The rooms are odd....lots of space, but odd shaped, odd cupboards. Facilities are basic.
The big issue is air conditioning. It only works in the lounge, so you have to leave the bedroom door open.
Service... seems OK, very friendly at desk.
Location....BRILLIANT
Price....BRILLIANT
Booked a 1 bedroom apartment with DeVille Apartments for a weeks stay in Main Beach. Absolutely stunning views right in the waters edge. Amazing staff at the reception, always so kind and responsive! The apartment was in the heart of everything, across the road is the surf lifesaving club with delicious food, and you are able to swim literally off your doorstep! The Uber ride into surfers is roughly $7 and takes 5 min. Or you can jump on the e-bikes or walk the esplanade for amazing views. Overall this apartment was amazing!! Will be defs coming back to this apartment for our next stay!!
Here right now. Arrived in the morning as a solo guest, only too happy too accommodate me and let me check in early.
Location is right near marvel, fairly quiet but close enough to all of Melbourne

Will definitely be my hub moving forward, in fact I've booked the whole family to stay here in October.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit on the 7th floor. The hotel was a little dated but was good for the price and the location was good. The unit was very quiet but was in a location that was close to the train station and the tram line.
We had such a wonderful stay.

We had our wedding nearby and it was so good

Staff were friendly and helpful and super excited to see us all done up.

The staff spent some time talking to us and making us feel special.

Thank you
Have stayed twice, in both a one and two bedroom. Two bedroom was awesome, there is a good life gym close by that you can access, close to Docklands and about a 10 min walk to CBD. Right next door to marvel, as in you can see it from the balcony!
Stayed here over the Easter Long Weekend, and chose this location because of its proximity to Southern Cross not to mention its proximity to Marvel Stadium and it being a Quest property. The Filipino gentleman at the front counter was great to talk to with banter and advice and made the stay even better. The room itself was perfect for the stay, was clean, AC/D and heater worked well and all kitchen facilities were functioning well that made the stay well worth it. Will be back here again.

Room was lovely, pool was great and excellent location- however, the low star rating is for a SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE. We were on the 6th floor and all bedroom windows opened the entire way (some up to a meter wide maybe) and had NO screens. Also, they are very easy to open. Anyone with young children should avoid at all costs. Is this even legal in Australia? Pic shows hight and size of windows (didn't take one when open).
Only complaints I have is the a/c stop working in Bedroom. The pillows were the worst. The bed was excellent size, but when rolling to other side felt as though the other side was on a decline of 30%.
Besides this the room was clean, functional and very close to Marvel Stadium. Rooms and location was quite for good nights rest.

We have stayed in places like this all around the country - but this is the BEST. From the friendly welcome, to the clean cabins, all very well equipped and set up, it is great.
While it is a couple of minutes drive from the town, that's no real problem and is more than compensated for by the spectacular mountain views and the ever-present close up wildlife.
Will always be one of our favourite places.
we booked a unit for 5 days through www. carringtoncourt . com. au
we received confirmation and provided credit card, turns out the website system was not operated by the actual hotel owner? it re-directed us to another 3rd party platform, so our booking and email confirmation was considered (by the hotel) not valid and we have been told the hotel has been fully booked.. there is a bit of inconsistent information presented.. anyway was hoping to have a good time there... recommend calling their reception to confirm availability and booking... dont trust the online system ....
The Barber own the good skill, my son is happy to cut his hair in here. I think it is good salon, Only remind you is cash only! 😜
Lucky enough to stay on Level 25 - amazing beach and gold coast views! The apartment was clean, comfortable, well-equipped (kitchen, laundry and bathrooms), easily accessible, underground parking, friendly staff, well maintained. (We went for the view rather than a renovated apartment but our room was perfectly fine).
Great pool and spa, Australia Fair shopping centre close by, very short trips to theme parks.
Highly recommend this place and hope to stay there again in the future.

(Vacuum cleaner didn't work and no replacement was provided despite requests but who wants to vacuum on holidays anyway??)
We are semi retired and holiday often. With the difficulties flying interstate and overseas we are tending to stay local and holiday on the Gold and Sunshine Coasts. This place is however off our list of places to consider given the service, lack of response to my email and the response they provided to my son and daughter-in-law when they had to cancel at the last minute due to a seriously ill baby. Several attempts were made to contact the manager prior to checkin but he conveniently ignored all attempts. I got NO response to my email. He asked my son to consider it from his perspective ie “it’s a pandemic”. Perhaps this manager needs to consider the perspective of others too. Perhaps others have worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic as front line workers in the health sector and given up days off to do extra work on Covid wards. And perhaps due to the pandemic and the demands of work this is the first holiday for two small children since the beginning of the pandemic. Some sense of decency may have been to give a part refund or even a refund of a cleaning fee (as no one used the apartment and no cleaning had to be done). All I can say is WELL DONE to this manager. He has lost the business of a large family and all of their friends.
We recently had a booking to stay at Carrington Court.
Unfortunately, on the intended day of stay, we had to cancel as our 4-month old child became ill with a respiratory virus- requiring hospital admission.

We attempted to contact the hotel via phone and email, but received no response.
We were charged the full rate for the stay.

We eventually got on to the manager, David, to enquire whether a partial refund or credit toward a future stay was possible.
David denied this request, offering “a better rate” as concession, which was not an acceptable offer given the circumstances and large cost involved.

In the context of the pandemic, the inflexible refund policy is extraordinarily shortsighted.

We had hoped for our first family holiday since covid- but instead we will not be staying a at Carrington Court ever again, and we would actively not recommend this hotel to all.
This apartment has an amazing view. Right on the marine parade with peaceful environment.

Excellent customer service. Quick prompt reply to inquiry and organisational skills for maintenance next to greatness. Very pleasant and look forward to dealing with the building manager again! Paz is a star!
From the moment we checked in and opened the apartment door the view pulled us into holiday mode. The management Jenny &Garry were so friendly and always had a smile and a hello if you passed them around the complex. The apartment itself number 41 was above and beyond what we had expected such a clean welcoming feel about it. The location was perfect and we most defiantly will be going on GC holiday getaways at Carrington again. Thank you to management for such a relaxing clean affordable family Xmas get away .
Clean with amazing views also very understanding in regards to wheelchair disability great staff

Good location, and a large layout. However the apartments are quite old now with a distinctive old carpet smell. Units inside if not maintained well are ailing. If you are on a budget then this maybe the place. If you are conscious of quality look elsewhere.
Greet rooms with great a view
There is a barking dog in the building that the Manager won't do anything about...barks for hours....
Building itself has aged. As you walk in the lobby (if you can call it that) is a very odd layout. It needs some work to bring it into this century
Best resident ONLY HQ resort complex on the entire Gold Coast. Never to be build out Broadwater, Seaway & Ocean views, heated 25 m lap pool, GYM, Dry & wet Saunas, 4 BBQ"s, etc.

Really nice stuff very comfortable apartment with a massive balcony area and views of the mountains great amenities buffet breakfast included and nice spa
Phenomenal place to live, stunning views, excellent quality fixtures and fittings, great managers, beautiful facilities, well kept gardens, really reasonable body corporate rates.

I came here thinking I would stay for a short time, but three years later and I love it more than ever. We even have some vege and herb gardens to pick fresh produce from. So nice.
