A great escape from the city just less than an hour drive. Great for coastal walk or in the boardwalk; fresh breeze will welcome you along the beautiful hues of the surrounding. What a sight to witness specially during sunset.

Amazing experience to see all the trees from the tree tops. It's not a long track and mostly flat, take around 1 hour. There are lots of benches.

It was too expensive for a 1.5km circuit and the lookout was underwhelming. That said, the bridge at the start was fun, but the rest of it feels like a standard nature hike especially when you go to the nearby Curtis falls walk for free. Staff was friendly tho and the facilities are well maintained.

A beautiful place to visit
My family and I l enjoyed visiting this place
It is a very well maintained site and the customer service is great

It is a must see local attraction. Loved walking on the steel bridge/walk. Wish it had been longer. The extended steel lookout was awesome. Although, be aware that it will get shaky and wobbly. The closer you get to the lookout the worse it gets. The view though from which was breathtaking. The whole circuit was okay, but some people might find it challenging as you get off the steel bridge, it is all uphills. So be prepared.
I personally found the butterfly valley really interesting (I forgot if it is at the end of the circuit or halfway through. Either way, you won’t miss it). The little exhibition in the decor before you head out onto the bridge was surprisingly fascinating. If you are into eco systems and insects and all that, you would be happy.
They do have a cafe with a proper menu on premises, which is really convenient if you feel like grabbing a coffee and a bite. They don’t have a gift shop but they have a designated area for gifts which is located on the right hand side corner on your way in. There is no need to purchase tickets online or in advance. Both times we went, we just bought the tickets at the spot. They do have concessions for kids and seniors. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
In general, it was a fantastic experience and it felt really good so close to nature.

This is the most amazing thing to do ... to be so high above the rainforest up in the tree tops, and some trees so much higher too, to hear the birds and the water fall, to smell the fresh air ... to be so in touch with nature ... to walk the sky walk. A truly exhilarating experience not to be missed. Something I recommend doing as often as you can. Well worth the reasonable charge to walk this amazing experience. Something not to be missed in a lifetime. I want to go again soon. I truly recommend you go soon and don't miss out.

Odd little spot not the nicest spot for a walk. But had an interesting little drive up the road and look across the town

Such a peaceful and picturesque boardwalk. I truly enjoyed listening to the silence and admiring the shiny silvery spider threads on the wetland.

A serene place just near the city, you get a beautiful view of the shore while walking on well maintained boards. Also shrubs and trees surrounding a silent area where birds coos can be heard is just great

Really nice trail. Highly recommended. You can find the trail entrance on the west side of the road.

It was a wonderful experience. It was raining, off and on, the day that we were there but that did not detract from our visit. We had a lovely coffee from the cafe afterwards, that could have been a bit hotter, but all in all we had an enjoyable visit. Well worthwhile.

Beautiful way to explore the rainforest. You get a walk among the tree tops and then a trail back at ground level. The views from up top are amazing and the abundance of different plant life is definitely a sight to see. If you are afraid of heights, you will struggle doing the skywalk part of the trail. The walkways are secure and don't wobble except for the cantilever bridge on one part that is optional, but you can see straight through the floor, so consider before you start. For the price, it's definitely worth the look.

Lovely waterfall and hiking track not far from Warriewood Square. Nice rainforest with palm trees to walk through to the Falls. Great places to relax or have a picnic.

It's a horse trail, alright walk through bushland, picnic table under cover near the car park.

Nice beach with lots of marine life and interesting looking rocks. Made me wish I knew more about geology.

Great little nook for kids. Not much of a walk but feels worlds away and in the words of my 7 year old daughter “I’m more than impressed!” Bring aeroguard.

An easy walk on the boardwalk over the samphire and salt pan area. Not a lot of birds when I was there. The walking path is easy and an interesting trip through the sheoak/heoaks. Please make sure you lock the gate.

Every where you turned was another amazing vista. The sheer abundance of plant life was overwhelming. From the tiniest ferns and moss to the most gigantic trees. This walk is comfortable and should strain the moderately fit.
I did see a snake, it turned out to be a harmless green tree snake.

Very easy walk from one end to the other. Nice walk to add to your giant hunting itinerary.
Spotted a few interesting looking birds and a LOT of kangaroo just chilling.

Nice walk around lake

A very pleasant day walking in some lovely countryside, a swim in the very clean outdoor swimming pool, and a bite to eat in the cafe.

Lovely place for a walk. Park, seats and exercise equipment around the track.

You can view the wildlife from this place on the way to light house if you find it most probably will be a kangaroo.

Great place to hike and enjoy the beauty of nature.
Highly recommend.
Make sure to carry water bottles along with.

Absolutely stunning place. The Glacier Walk is worth the steps but others may struggle so take your time.
Found fossilized shells in the rockface bellow, squid eggs displaced after the storm and so much seaglass as well.
Was a delightful visit.

Great location with lots of walking tracks. My favourite part was the little volcano. Beaches were mostly rocks

Amazing hikes super close to the city center.
Choose your own adventure and difficulty level.
You can get up to 3 hours of loop hikes starting from the Zig Zag trail.
Definitely recommend

Good walk but maybe a few mozzies this time of the year.

Nice litte trail running through the middle of Willowvale, good walk for locals who maybe don't want to drive all the way up into the Hinterland

Located in the suburb of Hallett Cove on the shores of St Vincent's Bay, Hallett Cove Conservation Park captivated me at first sight.
According to scientists, evidence of an ice age in Australia is shown in the Sugarloaf, a well-known feature of Hallett Cove. These are conical hills made up of sediments deposited about 280 million years ago. The trails leading to the beach, the long boardwalk along the coast, the rocky beach instead of the sandy beach… let me go for hours here without getting bored. Suitable to go with family or friends to enjoy a wonderful natural corner by the sea. It is only about 25km from the CBD.
P/s: I got all wet from the waves when I took these pictures, but either way, that cool feeling was so much fun!!!

Good place for a nature walk. Can spot birds kangaroos. Beware of insects too. Nature 🌿🍃❤

Beautiful waterfall, not big but nice, nice surroundings, nice for photos or for a picnic, also I swam few times in pond and under waterfall. Nice

Eine Plattform zum Vogel beobachten. Wir waren zum Spazieren dort.

Came here for some Star gazing, was incredible, nice and quiet and great view of the Milky Way!

Managed to squeeze in a spot of time in between heavy showers 🚿 and strong winds 🌬️. Wetlands here are definitely more pleasant than those back home in the tropics, where it can be muggy 🥵 humid and warm, with unpleasant smells radiating from at low tides 🌊. Over here, nothing smelt bad at all.
Plus you get the nicer wildlife too. Plentiful bird species 🐦 like parrots 🦜, storks, pelicans, swans 🦢, ducks🦆 instead of mosquitoes 🦟 and bugs 🪲. Could easily spend an hour here if not for dodging the downpour.

Great place to walk and birdwatch. It is fenced all round to protect the wildlife from foxes and is a dog-free zone for the same reason. There are a couple of board walks, but the bush walks are much better. There is a great cafe near the entry, but I was told they were being forced to close, so if you want to lunch there, it might be best to check that it's still operating. I spent two half days at this park and would definitely go back.

A seriously beautiful (short but steep) walk. It took longer than usual because it’s easy to get swept up in all the beauty!

Very informative park with signboards along the track and with tar road to walk on. Lots of information on the geological history surrounding the area. The road is parallel to the beach. There's few pathways to go down the beach. Lots of beautifully coloured pebbles on the sand. Ample parking area. There's a cafe and toilet nearby.

What a beautiful spot. A few mozzies, but absolutely worth it. Easy and accessible pathways through stands of she-oaks and gum trees. Also includes a delightful boardwalk over the samphire marshes out to a point of solid ground with more she-oaks! Two bird hides, and plenty of birds. The boardwalk is very narrow; one pram wheel had to ride on the raised edge. So blessed to have such beautiful places right on the doorstep of Mandurah!

The first bit is fun. A bit tricky to find the start of the walking tracks but once you find it it's great. Quiet walk good for a family outing however it hits a private property and so it's hard to do the loop as the track turns into private property. Apart from that it is an enjoyable track.

Unique shortor long walk trail with a spectacular view of the Samphire Flats around Mandurah's Peel-Yargolup wetland.
Maintained by community members, the flat paths are suitable for all walkers, are shaded and offer a short or long walk to a some great views of waterbirds, some quite unique.
The area is fenced to protect wildlife; there is an easy to navigate air-lock style gate, racks for bikes and ample sitting places.
Viewing platforms and information plaques provide excellent classrom-style opportunities for groups.
Some dedicated parking spots or use nearby street parking.
No Giants here though - keep looking!

Fantastic little falls in the middle of the Northern Beaches. Beautiful walks through the area. Easily accessible to the falls with a flat walk and boardwalks. Great area to explore

This is a superb place to get close to nature. Many birds of all kinds and we even met a momma kanga with her Joey. Good walking trains and boardwalks, also bird blinds where you can sit comfortably on the benches and spy on all sorts of wildlife. Adequate parking is also a plus.

Lovely stroll, shame board walk is fenced off.

Beautiful walk. No real scenic look out but beautiful wooded hike. Just be aware it's popular with horse riders too and you have to share the path.

This was a lovely stroll , noticed paths had been cleared since my last walk which was alot better.

Short walk to the viewing platform for an excellent view up the gorge and the swing bridge. No crowds. Great photos

Great ❤ lovely place

Amazing place to walk or hike around small lake surrounded by trees and birds. The walkway is excellent.

A brilliant reserve and a fabulous addition to the main basin reserve. Easy to get to and to walk. Well worth getting some comfortable shoes and walking the Zig Zag reserve, well worth the experience and its a very easy walk.

hidden gem within suburbia, lots of bird species that travel from the other side of the world. a few roos running wild

Lovely spot, easy walk in to the bottom of the waterfall. Highly recommend following the trail and going up above it you're stopping for a rest; plenty of flat rocky platforms to sit on rather than the sand at the bottom.

Delightful little suburban/rural trail that links up to other trails in the area. Makes it easy for locals to get their 'nature fix' without having to drive too far. Not too sure about where some private land boundaries are though?

A tiny piece for tropical heaven just out the back of Warriewood. Yell will feel like you are thousands of kilometres away from the all just 10 minutes of flat easy walking... just the perfect spot to chill and relax

sun set so beautiful here.

Beautiful reserve with local wildlife. You can pay to take the cable car over and pack. There’s also a swimming pool there.

Quiet little spot where it feels like you are in the middle of a rain forest, wasn't much water and wouldn't want to swim here but worth a visit!

Fantastic scenery! Great walking trails that enable you to get up close and personal with the resident 'roos (if you're there at the right time). The colours and birdlife change depending on the seasons. It has something to offer all year round though.

Nice place

Great place to explore at the back of your horse

Great little walk. Some gentle holes and stairs but nothing too difficult. Great place to take the kids and a dog for a walk.

Very nice place

This is a good simple hike for anyone who is in average health. Take the King's Bridge route, I reckon it's easier than the other way round, if you want it easier. You don't need special hiking shoes for your trail, at least when it's not raining. It's got a really nice laid path.
The best part, at the end of the trail you get to Rotunda, restaurant and they have the most gorgeous looking peacocks and peahens I've ever seen. 😍
This is a fun hike, for all ages - I hope you'll enjoy it.

Nice quiet reserve. Great place for a picnic if the wind isn't too strong.

Take the insect repellent with you. Beautiful setting overlooking the estuary. Great to launch kayaks. Good bbq and toilets. Nice undercover table and benches. Bring your ping pong bats and balls. Grassed area to kick the footy around. Lovely spot.

Enjoyed News years eve here
