Lovely cafe. Had the pulled beef panini and breakfast pretzel roll. Very yum. My husband has declared the beef panini as the best thing he has ordered from any cafe around (and he is hard to please ☺) and now his number 1 breaky food.
This place is Honestly the best Chinese I've had in my long years here on the Gold coast and that's no lie!! Great Service for just 2 people behind counter and very Friendly for Anyone who goes there.. Me and my family go here every weekend because it's that good 💯☝🏾
Whenever we visit from Melbourne we love visiting On Fire to have nice chargrilled meat. Well we returned to this restaurant after 1 year and I believe it has changed owners. Let’s start with service, it was good with staff being super attentive, the gentleman at the bar was constantly on his phone which was not a good look so I hope it was related to reservations, if it wasnt maybe consider doing it out of site of guests. Now the food, we ordered the shared platter. Food arrived on time and it was hit and miss, chicken was pink and undercooked, meat was overcooked, sausage was good. Both meat and chicken lacked seasoning which was super disappointing. Overall we will not be retuning to this restaurant which is a shame. Please speak with the chef to think about seasoning and that should go along way.
Celebrated my birthday at On Fire with my family last night, and it was amazing. We had the meat platter and seafood platter, it was really tasty and great value. The service is impeccable. Big thanks for the team!👏
Got 3 Takeaway Thai dishes for an easy dinner tonight. Absolutely beautiful, big servings, friendly staff, ready in less than 10 minutes, and even some free spring rolls as a nice surprise!. Will definitely be back!!

Impressed with the attentive staff at this restaurant! I have a vinegar allergy, and when I inquired about the octopus and greek salad, they promptly checked with the kitchen and offered alternative options. Their proactive approach to accommodating dietary needs made my dining experience safe and enjoyable. Thumbs up for excellent customer service!

We go to Gold coast every year and we always go here for our very first dinner!! 😭💖 Such an amazing place with really impressive Thai culture atmosphere, even the staff are wearing really nice traditional clothes. Very close to the nice hotels, just within walking distance.

Literally the least excited bloke working in customer service I’ve ever met. Absolutely no emotion.
Got the order totally wrong - ordered quesadillas with chicken and cheese, got pork and rice. Ordered kids meal, got just the quesadilla, missed everything else in the kids meal.

Its a bummer to see the quality here go down so much. My favourite thing about NR was the salads. They used to have salads packed with seeds, superfoods, cashews, candied almonds and amaaaazing vegetables, you could get full on a salad alone. And now? It's this.... very ordinary and underwhelming salad that could be bought from a fish and chip shop. Wilted rocket, rusty ends of cabbage and lettuce, gross tasting tomatos... and overcooked spiral pasta? What the hell happened to you guys!?

My second time here. The cafe looks really welcoming, cozy and nice, but the ice coffee I ordered... it was ok.
Both times I visited the iced coffee was watery and diluted.
Other than that, service was excellent, friendly and efficient.
Hopefully there will be improvements with the iced coffee as this cafe is really close to my workplace.

Came to try a local coffee and avo on toast. Avo on toast consisted of a doughy crumbly raw texture that was dismal in size for $12. Could not eat due to the texture, complained , was not offered a refund. Will not be back, nor would recommend. I’ve had better organic food elsewhere.
Fast and efficient service, friendly staff, consistent coffee every time (and I go several times a week!). The food is amazing, lots of options & fresh lunches. They even do made to order dishes when you ask them! Plenty of seating indoors & outdoors
Stopped for a snack on the go and ordered the 3x fried dim sims, 2x potato scallops and a coke. $17 is expensive, but I though "that's the Gold Coast!" Staff were friendly, so oh well. First thing I noticed when they handed the bags of food over was the dripping oil! Jumped in the car and headed off, eating on the go. Dim sims first - not bad but EXTREMELY oily! Then the potato scallops. First one wasn't bad, but also very oily, rhen I pulled out the WORST potato scallop I've EVER seen! Don't know what happened, but why would you give this monstrosity to a customer? Will not be back!

Finest establishment in the area, brilliant food, warm and approachable staff, premium service and unrivaled coffee. Regular customer for a coffee and a bite everyday of the week, Friday burgers are always a hit of incredible flavour combinations, as is all the food on offer. Hats off to the manager Paul for building such a reputable and locally loved business. Highly recommend!
I have been a regular at urban kitchen for a few years now and cannot fault Paul and his teams food and service. Paul's passion for food and providing delicious experiences for people shines through in their food. From his staple regular offerings which are always fresh and full of flavour to his daily inspirations which can hail from all over the world. Flavour and freshness is always at the forefront of everything he and his team offers.
His passion for quality also shines through into his coffees which are always of a very higher quality.

We went to the local Crown Inn Pub for dinner, not once but twice. Great venue. Both nights were wonderful. The atmosphere, the friendly staff, the service and the delicious meals. Compliments to the young lad that went from the bar to serve drinks, to the kitchen to deliver meals, to the welcome desk to show new arrivals to their table, and clearing and cleaning the tables. His wristwatch tracker must have been off the scale, testament to the dedication of the service at the Crown Inn. Highly recommended if you visit Old Reynella.

As a poke salad place, the side dishes that comes with the poke bowl are limited and isn’t as tasty on an international standard.

Really flavourful coffee- my flat white was the perfect ratio for me (I don’t like them too milky). The staff were so welcoming and friendly which gave the place a nice vibe 😊
5 stars for this local pub. If you wanna stop here for drink by yourself - it's cool - just sit out the front and someone will say hello. My friend from Nigeria loved watching the darts competition. Will definitely go here again. Drinks reasonably priced 😊
the tofu was bland and tough and the raw tuna was fishy definitely DO NOT get the tuna salmon bowl. tuna salmon bowl also did not have enough saurce which made it bland.
Really enjoyed the tofu bowl I got. There was barely any pumpkin or mushroom in the broccoli salad which was a little disappointing but other than that it was great. Very tasty, fast service and pretty wholesome.
Loved the customer service and the food. They gave kids dinner in a very beautiful box which my daughter and myself enjoyed. The food was hot and delicious.
Have to give this a 5 star rating…. So authentic I thought I was back in Thailand. Love the fact you can have as a level of spice ‘chef hot’ 🌶️ they nailed every dish and loved the experience …. I especially loved the curry puffs!

I love Thai food but unfortunately this did not taste like authentic Thai food. Very flavourless. The chicken skewers were very hard thin & dry. The omelette portion size was very small only half the container & I got vegetarian omelette so for the price I expected a decent serving size. The rice is so expensive also & tastes like nothing. Extremely disappointing wouldn't return. Everything on the menu is expensive & the 3 dishes I tried were not good at all. The restaurant looks nice & the staff were nice. I paid $60 for 1 entree, rice & omelette takeaways which included a 10% discount.
Ordered (shared) wood fired oven pizza and wedges among other orders for a table of 8, all meals were served at the same time by friendly and accommodating staff.

Only negative experience was to witness (along with my wife) the disgraceful way the head chef treated one of the wait staff while we were at the counter talking to her and another wait staff member while placing our deserts order.
Just because the head chef is male and the wait staff is a junior female (and may not be all that experienced) it is no excuse for this public display if disrespect.
The wait staff were being friendly and lovely, this head chef would do well to learn the fundamentals of hospitality from them or the hotel owners should build a partition and keep this staff member well out of public view and well away from the wait staff.

Just ordered the chicken fried rice for lunch, it was a very decent serving size, could feed two adults conservatively but a really big serve for a single person WAHOOO all of the carbs and goodness for my gym session after work.
I was greeted and served with a big smile by a friendly man at the counter and it really made my day, so thank you for the delicious food and great smile and good energy, always feels nice eating somewhere that has a good positive feel to it.

I wasn't overly impressed with my medium size wrap, it had minimal ingredients except for rice, there was lots of that, and pita bread.
Plenty of positives but I found this place almost 10-15% pricey compared to similar cafes. The service gets a plus. I will definitely go there again.

Ordered 2 chicken schnitzel parmigiana with mash & veg, and 1 kids chicken schnitzel parmigiana with mash & diane sauce, 1 serve onion rings... $80+ without drinks.
No veg, no ham and no bolognese sauce on the parmigianas, instead we got old wilted salad, tomatoe paste. The diane was not sauce but was oily and clumpy.
And dont get me started on the mash...powdery, grey looking and totally tasteless.

Had lunch. The restaurant was clean, food was good and portions were ample. Liana served me, she was polite and service was quick. Keep up the great work!!!
Always great food here been coming for years. It’s a mix of indoor and outdoor eating and the outdoor can be quite hot for Thai food. Service is fast and prices are reasonable. My only complaint is that table size they will sit four on a tiny round table and there is barely room for the food to share or drinks. They have huge very heavy carved chairs which look great but aren’t practical can barely move the m to get in and out. But we are here for food and the food is great so I’ll be back.
Cannot fault the service, food and ability to do what I wanted for my 60th birthday yesterday. I had a wonderful lunch, everyone said how nice their meal was and the whole table got their meals all together. A great day was had by all. Thanks team Crown Inn . Nice big carpark.

Charming and tasty local taverna. Tucked away from the main drag, this restaurant provides genuine service and well portioned meals. Lamb shoulder was outstanding.
The entree snacks were so good. Prob better than the actual mains itself lol. Wagyu was a bit fatty but still good. Duck main wasn't great as it hand lentils inside the duck meat which was a bit weird. Overall still good experience, nice view over the water

We have been coming here for takeaway orders for the last 5 years, but we sat down in the restaurant for the first time for Thali (Diwali special).
The platter consisted of chef’s special chicken curry, dal, bombay potatoes, a range of pickles, yoghurt dip, naan, rice and gulab jamun to finish off. We also ordered palak paneer and aloo naan. Overall, it was a beautiful meal and we walked away beyond satisfied!

The gantry is the best restaurant I’ve experienced in a long time. The service to start with was impeccable from arrival to table service, and with each meal the waiter explained what was in it throughly. The service is just outstanding here would even come here just for the service. However food was just incredibly beautiful, flavours were exquisite and they all come out in such a beautiful presentation as well and taste is off the scale. It’s definitely a five star experience.

Thank you Nicole for recommending the most delicious bowl. I am a poke fanatic and I am so excited that I found a new local and do not have to walk fair to get my fix from poked. You are so good at your job and have the best personality. You have such a promising career ahead of you. A great bakery to get your GFO. The bread is possibly the best GF I've had. Had a birthday cake made by the bakers, delicious. I'm not celiac or gluten intolerant but prefer their GF bread as the flavour and texture is excellent.
We ordered catering for a company event at the Botanical Gardens. They were great over the phone explaining all the dishes and recommending portions. The food arrived exactly on time and was hand delivered to the part of the garden we were located. I couldn’t stop getting compliments about the food from the staff and saying how I had made a great choice for catering. When I ate the food myself it was delicious and was a wide variety. I was particularly fond of the Broccoli and Apple salad which sounded very weird when it was recommended to me but was genuinely super delicious when I ate it. Wouldn’t say cheap but it doesn’t taste cheap in the slightest. Definitely a great recommendation for any catering events.
Let me start this review off by say that being a Restaurant Manager in the hotel industry myself I can be very critical of restaurants. The Gantry however, surpassed all expectations and has absolutely blown me away.
We were there to celebrate our 1000 day anniversary (cheesy I know) and straight from the get go did we feel we made rhe right choice in venue to share such a special occasion.
Beginning with the service received straight away from being greeted at the door with a genuine smile. We were welcomed at the table with a beautiful glass of champagne from the Restaurant Manager for our celebration. Once we sat down at out table our section waiter Liam greeted us and introduced himself to be serving us for the night. He was very helpful in recommendations and when he was unsure of something he apologised and sought the proper information from the appropriate team member, be it a wine recommendation or information about the food. I cannot stress how relaxed and comfortable it felt to have such a professional assist us for the evening.
We were interested in the set menu options however my partner has a seafood allergy and while they are able to substitute for non-seafood options we found it better to order off the A La Carte Menu instead.
I ordered the Kingfish and Scallop and my partner ordered the Chicken Wing and Cold Cut as a starter.

I myself proceeded to go for a Sake to pair with the starters to which an excellent selection was made by the Restaurant Manager.
As an Entree we shared the Lions Mane Mushroom Rice with some Sourdough and butter (to which my partner absolutely loved. Some of the best butter we have had) along with a beautifully Paired Chardonnay.
For the main we shared the David Blackmore Wagyu Karubi Plate with a Paired Shiraz from the menu. Originally I was going to choose the Cab Sauv but upon asking some questions to the waiter (sorry I didn't get your name) he allowed me to try the Shiraz aswell as was his suggestion and a good choice it was. Without understating the steak was cooked to perfection and one of the best I have tasted out of sydney. (Rockpool and Firedoor who???) The accompanying salad paired very well with the flavours of the Blackmore.
Dessert was a beautiful Ginger and Fingerlime Sunday aswell as a special surprise brought out from the Chef.

We were there to celebrate our 1000 day anniversary (cheesy I know) and straight from the get go did we feel we made rhe right choice in venue to share such a special occasion.
Beginning with the service received straight away from being greeted at the door with a genuine smile. We were welcomed at the table with a beautiful glass of champagne from the Restaurant Manager for our celebration. Once we sat down at out table our section waiter Liam greeted us and introduced himself to be serving us for the night. He was very helpful in recommendations and when he was unsure of something he apologised and sought the proper information from the appropriate team member, be it a wine recommendation or information about the food. I cannot stress how relaxed and comfortable it felt to have such a professional assist us for the evening.
We were interested in the set menu options however my partner has a seafood allergy and while they are able to substitute for non-seafood options we found it better to order off the A La Carte Menu instead.
I ordered the Kingfish and Scallop and my partner ordered the Chicken Wing and Cold Cut as a starter.

Here from Los Angeles and checking out gluten free bakeries as time permits. Loved the sausage roll filling. Meat pies were delicious (personal preference would have had a touch more salt and pepper, but that’s just me). Purchased a brownie and some slices for later. Looking forward to trying them.

Best sourced lamb in the country, so we were told. And it was delicious, lamb cutlets were definitely some of the nicest I've had in a while, lamb & the chicken souvlaki also delicious, the Greek sausage had some nice spice to it & the goat was amazing so tender & the seasoning yum.

We ordered home delivery and our chicken dish arrived without chicken, our beef dish had : pieces of beef.. the meal was the worst.
The wrong curries were replaced and went straight down the toilet.. my family is sick from what they had ingested and I was abused by the driver for wanting to show him what he had delivered to me initially - just to give real feedback.

Absolutely delicious food and wonderful service, a haven for coeliacs and gluten-eaters alike! Love this place and can’t wait to visit again next time I’m in town!
3.5 stars- reasonable meal good services, and a nice authentic Greek atmosphere. We ordered the saganaki, loukaniko for starters (to share), and the seafood platter for 2. The starters were tasty and nicely cooked. The seafood platter was generous and all elements were tasty (although I’ve had better mussels). Calamari I think is the frozen tubes type but very tender. A lot of chips and potatoes. My main criticism is the bugs - overcooked and 1 half was an empty shell.
Amazing selection, catering fir all dietary needs. All meals are clearly labeled & if/what allergens they contain. The staff are happy to assist, welcoming and knowledgeable. They also offer home delivery weekly!
Great food, with a great service. This place seems to focus more on quality. I’ve had quite a bit Indian in the past and often been left dissatisfied. However, this place has rein-fused my faith in Indian take out. The balance of spices was lovely and distinct. The spices were not too intense either. As someone who has digestion issues I requested mild which was very easy to consume. The fact I was asked on spice level is something I also have haven’t hadn’t experienced in the past. Definitely recommend trying it out
Excellent food quality and taste with creative concepts through all of the courses. The staff is so friendly with professional explanations of all the courses. The atmosphere is elegant and peaceful. It was definitely one of the top 3 fancy restaurants I’ve ever been to in Sydney. Highly recommended to go there with you partner or your family to enjoy this fancy experience!

The service and the food here is exceptional! Special thanks to the chef and sous chefs for the delicious food and presentation. I would also like to thank Pranav for the excellent service and great food recommendations he provided.
The best indian food i have had in Australia, everything was extremely fresh and testing. We had some appetisers such as papadums dips platter,paneer pakoda and veggie pakoda. It was delicious. The salad was also looks great and we tried 3 curries, paneer tikka masala, kadhai paneer and chicken lemon hara dhaniya with couple of naan breads. And it was really mouth watering. At the end we tried gulab jamun in the dessert, which was decorated with coconut, saffron and Rose petals. I can say that this restaurant is the best restaurant in the brisbane. Will definitely come back soon
Seriously incredible fine dining experience. The Gantry has welcomed a new head chef which has completely changed my opinion on the restaurant. I have been several years back and today's experience and food is now miles ahead of what it used to be. Every item on their winter menu was phenomenal- there were some very delicious and interesting new flavour combinations I've never experienced before. My personal favourites were the basil bluefin Tuna, blacklip abalone and the seafood starter snacks. The sourdough unfaultable as well. Their black Cabbage almodt had a meaty gelatinous texture to it- I loved it.Dessert was great and I loved their inclusion of purple yam as a featured ingredient. Service was personable and attentive. We spoke to Rhys briefly and he was great. I suspect the gantry will soon be recognised as a forefront for fine dining in Sydney. I'll will gladly return for their new seasonal menus
The food was very good here and it is quite reasonable for the price. It was very filling. I would 10/10 recommended this place for a lunch or early dinner. I will be coming back hopefully soon.

The place looks like a usual Asian restaurant. But the service, quality of food and the flavour makes this restaurant set itself apart. If you like a bit of spice, try their Nasi Goreng. I reckon it's the best in the state.
What a culinary gem! Beautiful Indian food done exceptionally well. You can really taste the difference as they use best quality organic ingredients and all dishes are freshly prepared. The lamb, in Rogan Josh, was so incredibly tender and just melted in my mouth ... so was the butter chicken. Flavours were just so authentic, mainly north Indian, and with their own special touch - love their mango chutney too, and Kulfi was an ideal dessert. Perfect "comfort food" for the colder weather or for anyone wanting delicious Indian food of great quality. Yum. Yum. Yum

The food was not bad, but quite expensive for what you get considering it's a fast food type of set up. The JFC chicken bowl was ok, but needed more sauce/flavour. The eggplant bites were tasteless without any sauce (which you need to pay an extra $1 for). Okay if you need a quick meal that's reasonably healthy, but for what you're paying you could get a better meal at a proper restaurant.

Saagwala- Amalgamation of freshly puréed spinach, onion masala and whole spices with tender lamb.

Cheese and Spinach Naan- Indian white flour bread stuffed with spinach and cheese and baked in tandoor (clay) oven.
Cheese and Garlic Naan- Indian white flour bread stuffed with garlic, cheese and topped with butter, baked in a tandoor (clay) oven.

Review: Poppin Papadums is a hidden gem in Camp Hill. I hadn’t had Indian in ages so was looking forward to trying this local restaurant. We were greeted by Jimmy, the owner who was lovely and helped with recommendations. We started with some papadums and mango chutney which was a really good combo. We tried to save them for when the mains came out, but they were too morish and we ended up eating them all. We couldn’t decide which naan to get so ended up getting two different ones. My favourite was defs the cheese and spinach which was soft, fresh and loaded with cheese. This went perfectly with the tender meat and dipped in the curry sauce. Jimmy recommended we try the Saagwala which was tasty with a creamy spinach flavour and little kick of spice. The lamb was tender and complimented the flavours but there could’ve been a bit more meat in the dish. It was hard for us to go past the classic butter chicken and this one didn’t disappoint. It was rich, savory, and sweet. The butter and cream add richness, while the spices gave it more of a traditional curry flavour. Again, some more meat would have been good. It was also my first time trying the Chicken Jalfrezi which was a fragrant chicken stir fry. I liked the spices used and the generous portion of chicken, this also went great with the naan and dipped in curry sauce. To finish we tried their pistachio ice cream which came out cut into pieces. The presentation was nice, and I liked the pistachios mixed throughout. It was more icy then creamy which could be how it is normally done? Not sure though as it was my firs time. All in all, food was great, staff were lovely and attentive, and the food came out quick. Would defs recommend if you are in the area or looking for some delicious takeout.

A wonderful local bakery with warm and friendly customer service. What more could you ask for? The Cornish Pasties and Apple & Pistachio Cakes are DELICIOUS, and all made here in South Australia by the lovely owners. I will definitely be back for more. YUM!
This is a great fast food place. Such fresh ingredients, beautiful presentation of the food and friendly service. The seating is mostly in a pretty loud position in the middle of the walk through shopping centre but if it's just two of you, it's possible to sit at one of the little tables next to the kitchen. Fun to watch them make the poke bowls. You can also choose your own combo, as I did, or go with their suggestions, which my daughter did.
This is my favourite take away of all time. I will drive 20 mins to get here all the time to have it. Zambrero never fails. Always fresh, always tasty and the staff are always polite and fast. I have no words to describe this place other than "THE BEST" for the first time today I also tried the blondie.. I will be getting this with every order now!
This kitchen may be crooked but the food is straight up delicious!!! Menu and food options were fresh, healthy, and hearty. Service was also very efficient and friendly which is always a bonus. It's unfortunate that I'm not from the area otherwise I would quickly become a regular customer. Looking forward to passing through town again and trying more. Thanks team. All I have to say is, this is one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been to in Brisbane! The service was excellent; so friendly and humble. The food was so tasty and fresh! My favourite thing was the garlic naan as it was nothing like other naans I’ve had. It was light fluffy but also crispy outside. Will definitely visit again when in the area. Happy Diwali!😊
Our working lunch was catered by the Crooked Kitchen. The food was really tasty and the selection of slices and treats was nicely presented, colourful and really tasty. I would recommend the rumballs. One of our group was vegan and she said her meal was delicious. Although I did not pay on this occasion, I will happily visit this cafe in my own time and maybe take some of those yummy rumballs home with me for later!
Very friendly staff and a great variety of vegan options! Prices are also very reasonable for the amount of food you get per meal. And as a nice bonus, they have bubble tea!

I love to order my breakfast from Nutrition Republic! Whenever I am in the mood of self-love, I order the madagascan smoothie bowl which consists of acai, mixed berries, banana, pea protein and coconut milk topped with chocolate buckinis, coconut yoghurt, toasted coconut and strawberry. It is so good!!! Never tired of ordering it. It feels so fresh, healthy, nutritious and yummy, all at the same time. I also order banana bread with it, which is again, wonderful! I sincerely adore their dishes. The packaging is fantastic. Never leaks out of the bowl, and is environment friendly.
An absolute find! After recently being diagnosed as coeliac had been trying all sorts of brands. None of the commercially produced bread was any good. The bread here is just awesome. Pastries and other goodies also as good. Will definitely be a regular customer. Thanks guys, great work.

OMG. I wish they would open one where I lived. Large vegetarian and vegan selection. Their salads were to die for, just beautiful, healthy and so tasty. We had the vegan lasagna and pumpkin and chickpea patty. I am sensitive to onion and garlic and also vegetarian. So having labels to identify and also ones for low FODMAP was extremely welcome. Online pickup booking was easy and was ready exactly in time I booked to pick it up.
The pastries here are delicious! Many gluten free products available but I'd love to see a few more different flavours in their pies and pasties range. Really good quality food that has a wholesome, homemade feel, and very friendly service. Will be coming back again and again and again!
I've been buying my gluten free food from Sue and Rod since they first opened. They're lovely people - their food is safe and tastes great. Their cupcakes are to die for! And there's their fruit loaf ...and Cornish pasties... and ...and and... can't recommend them enough.
