Came here for a friend’s birthday and it was great! Pricing is considered cheap for the service they give and amount of food they provide. Chef was super fun and engaging - would really recommend!
I recently had dinner at Sakura Sushi and Noodles in Hobart and wanted to leave a rave review. The food was absolutely delicious and the prices are great for an aussie's pocket!
However, the real star of our meal was our server, a boy Mr. Little Wang. As a new employee, his customer service and attention to detail was very impressive. He was enthusiastic about the menu and gave spot-on recommendations. Mr. Wang who works there part-time made sure our orders came out quickly, checked on us frequently, and was really good with cleaning the tables and maintaining the hygiene.
With excellent food and warm, welcoming service like this, Sakura has earned itself two loyal customers!

We are staying at Mahogany Park, ( the attached motel).
Went over for dinner one night and got 1 entree to share a main each, dessert each and a jug of Coke cost $92 in total and it was worth every penny. Would recommend 👌

Ordered on Uber Eats. They couldn't fulfill the order. HOWEVER they dispatched the Uber driver with it before calling us to advise. When asked why they dispatched it before calling they made up a story of the Uber driver cancelling the order and then sending a second order.
She said it would be fine to cancel as they were now working on a second order (even though I hadn't placed a 2nd order). I cancelled with Uber and was a charged $55 fee.
Then the Uber driver called and asked what was going on as he was waiting for his order.
They just lied and made stuff up. Don't use.

Small intimate casual. The space is very simple and clean, food amazing, staff genuine and kind.
Came here tonight, they were very welcoming, had extremely great service. The food was absolutely delicious and I will definitely be back. We had the battered sweet and sour chicken, Cantonese beef, garlic prawns and fried rice. Thank you for a wonderful dinner.
We had dinner here last night and it was a great experience. The food was great and the service was great. The owner was a very humorous person who brought us a lot of joy.
The top Indonesian restaurant in the area. The menu offers a great variety, and I went for Javanese fried rice and iced coffee. The flavors are authentically Indonesian. My personal favorite is the Javanese fried rice; it captures the true essence of Indonesia.

Ordered 2 stir fries. Both tasteless and like a stew. Fresh ingredients but that is as good as it got. Asked for 1 extra spicy with extra broccoli. Only got broccoli and no spice at all. We’ve been getting takeaway from thai ginger for years. This is hands down worst we’ve had. Spring rolls ok but nothing special. We are done. Last couple times ordinary but this was next level awful. How hard is it to do a stir fry!!
Saw the overall review online and thought “Hey, why not!’ so a bunch of us went there for a birthday celebration. The chef was very entertaining and theatrical which was what we wanted. Atmosphere was great - lots of laughter and all round participation even for the other tables. Food was not bad and the venue is very spacious unlike some other teppanyaki restaurants where you get packed-in like sardines. Lovely experience for 3 hours (wow!) and we all walked away with smiles on our faces. And the chef even came out with candles on ice creams specifically for the birthday people. Very personalised.
The food was mediocre. Quite disappointed to be honest. We had the butter pepper prawns. When I asked the waitress if the prawns was coated in flour, she said it was coated only slightly. When it came, it was heavily coated. The prawns were tiny. The Peking duck was very gamey. I noticed that every table around us was given complementary prawn crackers and I wasn’t. I asked the waiter and was told that they are very busy so he will check if he can bring us some. Very disappointed with the service as well. Will not be making another trip.
Ordering online via their website was nice and easy. We got the Mongolian Beef, Fried Rice and Stir Fry Vegetables with Cashew. Food was quick to be prepared, piping hot and well packaged. I was really impressed; meal was no where near as salty as other Asian takeaways in the area, very clean and not oily. Fried rice was fresh, and generously made with ingredients. We will definitely be back!
Firs time came here, having lunch with friends. So impressed with the food, bebek bali is soooo yummy, especially the sambal matah makes it perfect. Tried my friends food too, iga bakar, empal, ikan bakar bali are so yum. Dont forget to try risol and ice cendol too 😋

THE BEST INDONESIAN RESTAURANT IN PERTH SO FAR.
We have been trying so many Indonesian restaurant here in Perth but this one got me addicted with the Bebek Goreng, tender and crispy skin with spicy sambal. I ordered this 2 for my self everytime. The Mie Goreng and Nasi Goreng Jawa also besttttt, not gonna lie, try in and thank me later. The customer service also best, the owner was friendly, the place also getting bigger then before when i came around 2021. If you wanted to try the Nasi Padang, come in the afternoon.

Oh Dumpling is always a winner. Everything that we have every time is so delicious with such great depth of flavour! We always over-order so we can enjoy it again tomorrow.
Defo one of our fav Indonesian Restaurant here in Perth, so many option in their menu from Padang food, Java, Palembang you name it and they all yummy even my scotish husband love them. If you in perth and miss Indonesian food the this place is a must try ! 👍🏼
I have been to a few indonesian restaurants and I reckon this is the best u can find in perth. Satay and fish is champion! Satay got the charcoal taste, tender, and not dry. The sauce used to grill fish is best. See the photo. Chicken ( ayam kremes), batagor, and noodle is also nice! Will be back for more🙏🏻.
If you love Chinese food, definitely should check it out! High quality food with good price. Apart from dumplings, the restaurant also serves Sichuan cuisine of rice, noodles, small bites. Highly recommend spring onion pancakes and fried bread. They were really crispy and tasty! As the weather is getting warmer, pulled chicken cold noodle is a good option. If you are a spicy lover, you could choose Sichuan flavor for the cold noodle(Don’t forget to ask for the spicy level). Would go there again for sure!

Ordered online through Uber eats. Followed up after waiting for one hour. Lady advised driver on his way. Didn't turn up at all. Got my money refunded.
The Pad Thai was very disappointing, sauce was very tangy and unusual, the noodles were in thick clumps with no sauce in the centre, making those parts very bland. We couldn't finish our meal after just a few bites. Spring rolls were very ordinary.
Had an absolutely wonderful time with friends on the weekend. Meal was great, pricing was good, restaurant was clean. I'd recommend the restaurant wholeheartedly. Will be back.
Extremely poor quality of food coming out of the kitchen. Called the staff, they said, thats how food comes out of the kitchen. Tandoori chicken charred, with soot on it. Complete health hazard.

I told them explicitly, I am hospitality professional, I do not like belittling restaurants, so could you do something about the food and they repeated the rant " Go and complain to uber." What appalling customer service and pathetic quality of food.

Butter naan: Tender on one side, charred, jet black on the other
Paneer tikka masala: they have no clue about which ingredients go into making PTM. Raw quarter tomatoes, charred capsicum, rock hard paneer, and uncooked onion is their PTM recipe. The chef should quit immediately.
Tandoori chicken: More like chicken out of a pyre or my granny's ashes.
Salad with Tandoori Chicken: the soggiest, blackest uncut lettuce ever.
I wish I could rate this place zero or best speak to the owner directly.

Paid $8.90 for delivery. Driver did not even bother to notify when food arrived. Just left food on the driveway. Last time they delivered my meal to my neighbour. Long term customer but no more. Plenty of other thai restaurants around this region
It was a great experience and my mother-in-law was extremely happy to celebrate her birthday here. The chef put on a fun show for all of us. The performance was entertaining, the food is great and we had a full stomach after the dinner. Excellent customer service and an unforgettable experience with the family!
one of my go to places for cheap Indonesian food that brings me back to the nostalgia of home. their food is very great and you get a discount with a PPIA card (@ppiacurtin for more info) and their service is 100% very great. i love them so much and they never disappoint!
This is my adult child's favourite place to get laksa in Hobart, so I had to try when I came to visit them. The chicken laksa isn't as great as my usual place but it was very nice and I enjoyed it. The staff were friendly and happy to package up my leftovers to take with me. The prices were great too!

New owners at Panny Thai have lifted this Pako eatery back into 5 stars. If you haven't visited here in the last 12 months, get back there, you're going to be very pleasantly surprised!
All of the dumplings on the menu were delicious. Came out reasonably quick and really hot. Beware of the hot soup in the dumplings.

My family and I went for dinner on Anzac Day and will definitely be returning again! Amazing food and even better service. Special thank you to our waiter who had a trainee badge on but judging by how good he was at his job we would have thought he had been working there for years. He was so helpful and friendly and even suggested a vegan roti for us that was delicious. 10/10 would recommend visiting!

After reading all the great reviews, frankly the food is quite disappointing. The dumplings seem to be pre-packaged rather than handmade. The dandanmian was decent but I felt the portion size was too small even though we ordered a large. They could also be more generous with the ingredients. Service was OK though. Overall, not satisfied.
All the stir fries were oily, my char kway teow were salty. Food was average, all up costed $75 for 4 meals and 2 drinks. Not worth.

1st time come here with my family to celebrating my hubby's birthday. The chef is so friendly and has sense of humour. My girls were so impressed & so entertaining with his cooking performances in front of us even though they weren't eating. The foods was freshly cooked in front of us and it was so tasty and delicious. Definitely would come back to this place & would recommend this place to friend and family.
Love this place. Excellent curries and naan bread. Strongly recommend the chilli cheese naan. Friendly staff, seating inside and a table or two outside. Free parking available in front of the restaurant too.
Super authentic Thai food, loved everything we have ordered: entrees (spring rolls and money bags), mains (massaman beef curry and ho-mok talay), sides (garlic fried rice and jasmine rice). Our mains are amazing: hands down the best massaman beef curry we ever had (3 hours slow-cooked beef in herbs and massaman curry did make a huge difference in the texture and flavor of the beef), and the Ho-mok talay (steamed seafood and veges with red curry sauce and egg) was an absolute delight. This was the first time we had Ho-mok talay and were impressed with the taste profile (love it so much that we ended up ordering another bowl of rice to have with the sauce, yum). Highly recommended and we will be back next time we are in Geelong!
We came here last week and it was very entertaining. There were only three families booked in that night and every family had one member that was celebrating birthdays. The chef Saw made it such special day for us. We were laughing and enjoying the food all night. He was throwing bowls, cooked eggs and raw eggs 😂 and teased the kids with tricks. It was such great fun. Highly recommend. 10/10
The exclamative name of this restaurant betrays it's humble and simple nature. Great food, reasonable prices and friendly service. I would reccomend the beef and corn dumplings, and the Taiwanese sausage.

On august 14 Sunday night 6.30 ish for dinner the food was great BUT The service was poor we were the first table to be there and three more table came soon after. two had there on trays and Main and finsh before we had even had our main meal. Also there was no kids meals it would have been great to have something for our little one instead of ordering two set of on trays because one was a little to spice for our little one .
And a little more advice HAVE More stuff on so you don't have one guy running all over the place trying he best to do the take away,front of house, and phone orders.
I will say this the food was great BUT it's let down by what happened tonight which is a shame.

Wow! First time dining here and really impressed. Restaurant is very modern and appealing. Each dish ordered got better and better. Extremely authentic and flavoursome with quality meat & generous size servings.
My only criticism was there was 0% atmosphere in the dining room. The silences were a little awkward at times so perhaps some music would liven it up a bit. I actually saw some small speakers throughout which would be ideal to use.

I love the sushi at Sakura. I only am in Hobart part of the year, and when I am away I dream about their vegetarian sushi. So good - and I am not a vegetarian!
Wow!!! First time ever at Kyoto and what a night!! We had a party of 13 tonight for my sons 19th birthday! The food was amazing!! But the entertainment from chef Saw, was next level! I have never experienced such fun, interaction and laughter at a restaurant! They made us feel so welcome and made his birthday! Price is an absolute steal for the incredible food and entertainment! Half of us opted for the $50 per head meal and the other half the $45! And all of us were happy! If you don't like the raw fish, they happily cook it for you. It's BYO ALL alcohol but they do also sell it, so win win! We'll definitely be back!! Highly recommend for an awesome night out. 5**
They seemed quick to take my order and my money. Sadley the food took over 40 mins then I was told they had only one of the two dishes I had ordered. I was so hungry I just took the green curry which was basically some cut up veges in a watery liquid. Could have bought a green curry paste from the supermarket and done a better job.
Went here for lunch and really enjoyed the curries in this cosy little restaurant. Service was adequate and fast. Also, I think this is one of the few times I’ve ever had a side of salad / greens with my curry. Not used to seeing that as you often just get the curries in a bowl / plate with very little consideration for presentation. Made the meal appealing and fresh. Would gladly return.
You will get what you pay for, which means you wouldn't regret in terms of the amount of money you pay as it's reasonable price. However, it wouldn't be impressive or fantastic. It is nice quick-easy-low price meal, no more than that. You can imagine taste perhaps, as it's just like the one you could possibly get it from the food court.

Such a cosy restaurant with delicious curry. We had beef, prawns and vegetarian dishes and all were equally flavourful. We would have loved it to be abit more spicy, but that's just us.

Nice Thai food restaurant at Geelong town! It open at after lunch hour too!!! There is toilet which need to walk beside of the walking path to another building beside with key request from the staff! Free drinking water as well!!!
