Honey king prawns are the best here! Beautiful service and beautiful food!
Poor service. Very rude waitress. We booked a table for 8 at 6:30. Everyone arrived at 6:40. The waitress called us to make the order asap as we must handover the table at 8pm. We said please give us a second, let’s discuss first. 5 minutes later, she disturbed our conversation again and said you guys keep talking until what time? Why don’t you make an order now?
She killed our mood, the dinner was unpleasant. Despite the food were not bad, but not very yummy comparing with Chinese restaurants with similar price, the restaurant was extremely noisy.
If you wanna have a quarrel with someone, then go to this restaurant!
Mongolian beef, sweet and sour chicken and honey chicken
All very bland. No flavour. Very disappointing
Rice was dried out
Won't be ordering again

🌟 “I recently visited Awesome Thai for the second time this month, and once again, it exceeded my expectations. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and an inviting ambiance. The quantity of food provided was generous, ensuring that I left feeling completely satisfied. As for the taste, each dish was a masterpiece of flavor, perfectly balancing the aromatic spices and fresh ingredients that characterize authentic Thai cuisine. Whether you’re a seasoned Thai food enthusiast or new to the cuisine, Awesome Thai promises a delightful culinary experience that will keep you coming back for more. 🍽️🌶️🥢” 🌟

Reluctant to give this place a good review in fear of some hipsters buying it and destroying it, as they do with most good pubs in Sydney...
Anyway, here goes! The food is awesome, as are the cocktails, not to mention the happy hour prices! Service is spectacular, as are the staff...
A (not so) hidden gem right smack in the middle of downtown Sydney! And a great place to people watch from the outdoor tables...
Never change Mountbatten Hotel... Never change...
It was one of the highlights on our SA cruise. We haven't had any decent Cantonese food while we were on board the Queen Elizabeth. We were missing our favourite Yum Cha and craved for Yum Cha. This restaurant provides the typical Hong Kong style Yum Cha Dim Sums and made us feel at home.
We came back again because aside from the delicious food, the staff are very nice people who were kind to allow us to sit outside with our Poodle.
Great tasting food, and I loved the sides that they served. Portions were quite big too. Staff were friendly. Would eat here again.

The worst chicken pad Thai I have ever eaten. No chicken in it, the wrong noodles and all just sauce. It was disgusting and had no flavour. Staff were also rude when asked for a remake or refund. Don’t go here it’s gross
Have only had takeaway from this store, but they are my absolute top pick on the coast when it comes to delicious Chinese food
One of the better Chinese restaurants we have visited.

The prices are reasonable. The servings are huge and the quality of the ingredient are good by our standard.

The staff are attentive even though the restaurant was almost full the evening we were there.

Came in for lunch. Restaurant wasn’t too busy and service was good. Food portions was large and fresh.
Really nice food with reasonable size. I gave 'Service' 3 stars. It should be 3.5 stars.
Excellent option for yumcha. It's a very popular place so I recommend booking, or get there before they open so you can be first in line when they do open.
Not much is open on a Sunday in this area for the record.
They serve authentic Chinese dimsim / yumcha. It was excellent quality. The service is efficient but not very personal. Some waiters don't seem to understand English also.
People at the bar where great, howver petty bouncer with nothing else to do... really trying get onour nerves with no reason, to the point he said I was not welcome. Very disgusting individual. This was on 24 Nov 2023. Would avoid just that individual.
As I dont have the option to reply to the business response to my review im editing my original review. I suggest you to do a through investigation and actually watch the cctv to effectivelly prove that I ever attempted to jump the fence. The individidual interpretation of the facts are not quite correct. I reiterate watch the images to make definite conclusions. Not accurate and not pleasant the overal treatment.

If no stars were possible as a rating; that would be what I’d give this. I ordered this tonight for the first time. My noodles has no flavour or sauce, there was no veges except onion in it - really oily with no flavour. It looked like it had been sitting for ages and I couldn’t risk eating it. The dim sim was just the pastry with no filling and over fried - probably refried. They also forgot the sauce with it. I tried calling 6 times. No answer. Terrible disgusting food and service. I couldn’t even get a hold of them for a refund or to fix it.

I had the combination pho, it was a mix of chicken and beef. Broth tasted authentic however a tad salty. Normal people probably wouldn't mind it however I have high blood pressure, It tasted good but the serving is a bit small. The iced coffee was okay, nothing to rave about. The fresh lemon juice was really nice. Give it a crack if you're in the area.

Rip off, seafood combination, no prawns, just squid, 3/4 full of rice. Nasi Goreng was gluggy and syrupy, awful. No greeting, no smile, just had the short hand version of the dish I ordered barked back at me after I ordered it. A truly horrible dining experience.

I bought the beef and broccoli noodles and it was undercooked and had no sauce. The noodles were so uncooked I couldn’t eat them. What a waste of $20. Would not recommend. This is the second time I have got undercooked noodles, the first time I tried to eat them and got sick so I wasn’t risking it when they were undercooked this time.
A very scrumptious yum cha in Adelaide! The siew mai is simply one of the best I've tasted so far. Very authentic Hong Kong style dim sum.

My partner picked us up 2 boxes of combination after spending 12 hours at the hospital. We finally got home and ate about 10 mouthfuls each until we noticed an extremely bad smell.. it was the chicken 😭

I called up to warn them not to serve it to anyone else and was very rudely told that there was nothing wrong with it and they refused to check their chicken. They told me they’d make me another one… no thank you! I am beyond stressed about contracting food poisoning as I am already bed ridden.
When I came to Robina, I saw the top wok and ordered a combo fried rice. It was so delicious, with a lot of rice and meat. It's a pity that it's not open on Tuesday, otherwise I would come again tomorrow.
We come here regularly for yum cha which is great quality. Main dishes are generous in size. Steamed buns are also very delicious. Service is always great although some waiters are a little keen to take plates away when we're not finished with the dish. Other than that, the place is always packed and is probably one of the busiest and best authentic Chinese restaurants in Adelaide.
Food is very delicious, cooked so well and fresh. The favourites are the crab, lobster and eel dishes. Pork and chicken also always nice. This is a place that I go quite frequently to celebrate special occasions with family and friends. Highly recommended.
I was highly recommended by my sister to visit yum cha house, so we decided to go with the family, eight in total.

I’m not a fan of seafood but I did get to try the deep fried prawn and seaweed spring rolls, they were good.

Best dish for me was the satay beef, it was full of flavour and not too spicy, add a bit of steamed rice and yummy.

Service was good, it wasn’t too busy for a Friday night, as I’ve heard this place can get very busy and noisy, so I guess we chose a good night.
My goodness me, did I roll out of there, of course I did. The waiter, Love , Love, Loved him. Excellent knowledge of the food. And it just kept coming. Didn't eat for a day after that and that's unusual for me. Lol!
Spent $108 on a delivery....this is what we got....absolutely horrified....it was sweet and sour pork and chicken....3 spring rolls and two rice....never again
Great food bit pricey would not dine in as its very small and I would feel like I'm sitting on top of ppl

SOR eats, local dim sum treats in Willetton. We often have plenty of the usual suspects and try a few new dishes in the mix.

I’ve been visiting here for many years and the food is still fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. Service is ok too.

Very nice local restaurant to eat at. Staff were very accommodating, the 3 of us really enjoyed our meals. It was not too busy as we dined early, but we still felt welcome
Took a number which wait time approx 20mins on a busy Sat late noon.
Many dishes to choose from and every dish we selected were amazingly delicious. Fresh ingredients used. I especially liked the porridge which is not waterly like some other dim sum rest. Friendly and fast service we received. Too many dishes that fogotten to take a good photo of. Great eat!

Quality of the food is reflected in the price
There is a specials lunch menu that is well priced
For the most part the food is consistent and tasty
The service fluctuates on the day
Parking is in the town centre and the restaurant on the promenade making it easy to get to
TLDR, food is good, service is as expected from an Asian store, atmosphere is also as expected.

Long version, usually go to a few doors down at hello sizzling after my workout nearby but as luck has it, it’s closed for maintenance. Gmaps says topwok just around the corner off I went. Ordered stir fry with beef fillet as it looks nice on the menu, and what shows up does live up to the picture. Taste is 8/10, I’m from Malaysia and I’d say it’s better than quite a few places back home. Bit bummed that there’s no like Chinese tea or the sorts, would’ve been perfect if there is.

Definitely will be back
Really great quality chinese food. I came here with my family on a Friday night with a booking to be safe. The restaurant was booked and busy. Seafood was fresh and service is friendly, would come here again 😀
Of the 3 chinese restaurants weve tried in Nerang this one was the best so far. Staff friendly. Could maybe add a few little prawns and some veges to the special fried rice but otherwise quite nice

Great place for a Bento Box and beer lunch special for $15. Choice of protein (karage chicken, crispy pork or squid) with two other choices (Gyozas, coconut rice, Asian salad or fries) and any beer on tap. Great value!
Compact cozy with jam packed crowded confused staff scenes however only add to the fact how popular and good their food is, fresh authentic flavorful Chinese food. Even though is a bit pricey it accounts for their quality and generous portions. Definitely a great eats

Went to Yum Cha House after our friend birthday, the food were actually very nice, clean and fresh.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Even tho we had to waited about 10-15 minutes for the table but it was worth it.

Every dish were very nice and well prepared with quality ingredients.

Tasty. Not like some people said in the comments that any dim sum house in Northbridge is better than it. The food is good. We went there around 1330hrs, still have half of the house customers. Obviously, the choices of cusines are not like other dim sum house, hope the boss can make more dishes.

That was the first time we had had lunch in this restaurant. I ordered 4 dishes for takeaway. The food is average, taste good. But 1 of the young lady with long hair has a negative attitude. the waitress was very impolite and disrespectful. Ridiculous service, I ordered pad Thai stir-fried with beef and she blame me bcs is a pad Thai with beef. She said “ NOT STIR FRIED “. She was snappy.
My first and last time eating from Asian Court. The san cho bow was semi ok except we got a tablespoon worth in each serve. The special fried rice was completely flavourless, over cooked boiled rice with a few cubes of spam and some peas, no joke. Every single dish we got looked exactly the same! I’ve definitely had enough zucchini, carrots, and cauliflower. Every dish was bland, boring, same same, the rice probably ruined the rest by making it tasteless. No love, no thought, no effort went in to the food they served. Very disappointing.
Lovely Hong Kong Style Chinese Restaurant located at Robina Town Centre on the Outside Pavilion next to Max Brenner.

Helpful, friendly and efficient service.
Everything goes very smoothly.

Good selection of Set Menu options which included a Chicken and Sweet Corn Soup with Garlic Bread.

Had the Hong Kong Style BBQ Pork with Rice, a Sugar Cane Juice and a Pot of Chrysanthemum Tea.

Everything was beautifully presented and tasted delicious.
Friendly owner, tasty food, reasonable price
My husband and I often grab lunch or dinner from here and we are always greeted with friendly, positive customer service and what makes it even better is the delicious, quality and authentic tasting food they serve. For the high quality the price is very reasonable compared to other Chinese restaurants in the area.

Highly recommend! :)

Good store. Usually pretty quiet when we have visited. Not much atmosphere or seating but food is always good.
Masaman beef disgraceful..dry beef Potato and veg under cooked..red curry sauce instead of a nice thick gravy..sliced beef not slow cooked chunks...peanuts ..what peanuts...never again sorry
It is one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area. Spectacular quality of food brought out very quickly. Wonderful service, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food tasted so delicious, it was very fresh. Definitely recommend coming here. It's a little more expensive, but it's worth it for the incredible quality and flavour. I will come back again soon
The food was delicious. Asked if they could leave the MSG out of the food. The fried rice was lovely. The tandoori chops were a bit burnt but still okay. We dined In this need to have a freshen up. The staff were lovely especially the young man serving was amazing.

Blue ocean has fantastic dishes. The plates are large and the prices are affordable.
I recommend going around lunch time. Lunchtime the restaurant is very enjoyable and you can relax. There is also special lunchtime pricing, with some dishes being just $10.80 per dish. I also recommend getting the tea for $1 and just relax and enjoy life for a bit.

While the food and pricing is great, and better then many other Chinese places I have been to, I find that for dinner on every night that I have been, the restaurant gets extremely packed, and insanely noisy from other guests (not the restaurant fault). But you are not able to talk to people next to you without essentially screaming.
I would recommend calling ahead for dinner to confirm they have availability.
Food was extremely nice and we did not have to wait long, friendly staff and good prices

A small eatery located in Winston avenue. I wouldn't say it is the cleanest place. Service is adequate. Pho wasn't that good. Strong chicken soup flavour with little else. Beef was not raw. The little herbs we did get were given were flecked in insects or .. I really don't want to guess what. Cold rolls were mostly rice vermicelli and only got 2 short stubby ones.

Went there for lunch during Easter Saturday. It wasn’t busy but waited for 20 mins for my soy sauce braised duck, waited another 10 mins for the stir fried pipis. Very annoying that out food didn’t not come out at the same time.

The food though was alright, could be better but definitely above average. Portion size was big. Overall I’m happy for a $20 lunch set but the long wait time may stop me going back.
Good place and nice vibes. Cocktails are beyond expectation especially the one served by Milky. She is so lovely and helpful. We will come back! Highly recommended! :)
Consistently good food here. A family run business with an organic kitchen herb garden. Decor is very simple.

Had dinner here with a mate and the entrees were quite delicious, however, the mains (pho) were unfortunately very disappointing. We were here about an hour from them closing so it may have contributed to its quality, but it was a very sad bowl of noodles and soup.

Before this though, we had the salt and pepper pork, which was pretty good and delicious, as well as spring rolls. They were cooked very well and set us up expecting the same for the pho. When it arrived a few minutes after we finished eating, we could immediately tell that it was all frozen. The noodles were still very clumpy and tasted very artificial, and the soup was average at best. The amount of beef was also embarrassing, and added more salt to the wound unfortunately. I had high hopes after delicious entrees, and we weren’t able to finish up the phos by the end of it.

They’re a family business though so I’m happy I could support them, but would be much better for all to see the pho’s quality rise!
I highly recommend this place 👌 The food is delicious and comes out really quick. My sister booked here to celebrate her birthday. My favourite was the tofu and chicken dish they have. They also have 4 varieties of fried rice and we've tried two of those, seafood and the one with chicken or meat bbq in it. The vegetables selections is also delicious and everyone enjoyed the meal. We have heaps if leftovers to take home as they have big servings. They are conveniently located in Robina Twon Centre beside Max Brenners.

When a restaurant is full and there’s queues it’s a pretty good sign. I wasn’t disappointed. beautiful full flavours. The only small thing was there wasn’t an awful lot (take away) but it won’t stop me going there again,
Quiet little corner joint. Good specials. Tasty food. Great selection of wine too. Loved popping in and finding a gem. Definitely on the must try list in the trendy part of Sydney near Chinatown.

I live around the corner and thought I would dine in for dinner with my 7 and 8-year-old children. The place definitely exceeded our expectations and we will be back again.

It is a family-run business who were there serving and greeting us. They were very friendly and made us all feel welcome.

We had the spring rolls, pad Thai and satay chicken with rice, which were flavoursome and generous servings. We had leftovers that we were able to take home.

For delicious local Vietnamese food, I highly recommend coming here.
I wanted some Pho and just drove here to try it out, and I was not disappointed in the least. The staff was very friendly and we had a convo about the Pho in the Seattle area and how much it was available and if it was good. Well this was as good as any other Pho that I have had anywhere!!! I will come back for sure when I have the urge for Pho. The sizes of the bowls were good, I had the middle size and it was plenty!!! I would need be super hungry for the large bowl. I will try the noodle bowls at some point also. Highly recommend.
This place has a good balance of price and portion sizes. Came on a weekday and it wasn't too busy, so we got our food pretty quickly 😃. Ordered our favorites. Everything was fresh and steaming hot 🥟🍜. Food was excellent and wasn't salty either. Definitely no MSG. Can't go wrong with this dim sum house.

Ordered takeaway and got the wrong order (Combination Seafood rather than Sizzling Seafood). A bit annoying that when I called to let them know they tried to convince me that this is how they’re sizzling dish was - then they recognised the mistake.

Good mix of seafood in this Combination stir fried but way too salty, wouldn’t have it again. Hopefully next time I can have the correct dish.

My husband’s sweet and sour chicken was good.
Lunch for two. Pork fillet from set menu was quite fatty but tasted good. Honey Chicken from main menu was delicious as was the Combination Fried Rice. Enough for two. Be aware you will be charged 30 cents for each doggy bag container you need, which was a first for us. The food was hot, fresh and delicious but expensive. 2% added if paying by card.
This place was amaaaazing. So many beautiful entre options. The food was so flavourful and felt very authentic. The service was also great. Our waiter was so polite and warm

Fast, fresh, friendly and tasty.

Our takeaway was all on point with every dish a winner.
Ready to pickup in only 15 minutes.

Gang Dang Prawn red curry and Pad Katiam Prik Pork Thai were especially top notch..

Well done!
Decided on having chinese takeaway for the first time in years. Ordered wontons, curry puffs (vegetarian), sweet n sour pork, garlic vegetables and special fried rice.. Highlight of the meal was the garlic vegetables which got them at extra star. Got meat curry puffs instead of vegetarian. Sweet n sour sauce wasn't mixed with the pork, it was a side sauce. Further more it had 1 peice of onion and two token pieces of pineapple in the sauce. Wontons were just battered pieces of not sure what. Special fried rice was severely lacking the "special" element. All in all very disappointing and won't be back.

I love this local Thai restaurant.
Great value for money, huge portions and tastes bloody awesome.

Highly recommended Penang curry duck. Soft shell crab papaya salad. The fried ice cream.
OMG. Delicious Asian food 🙂 Great variety! Very reasonable price! Good service! Open early 10:30am everyday 💖

Great chef ! He can cook anything 👍

Highly recommended !!
The food at Blue Ocean Restaurant is always so delicious and always hits the spot! My family always enjoys coming here for a big family dinner or get-together as the staff are always so welcoming and friendly. The food is so great and if you ask, they can accomodate for you and make some changes with certain dishes (such as changing the type of noodle they use etc).

Had lunch here with my partner as we were attracted by their set lunch menu. There’re 16 choices which all come with soup and salad. I had the Vietnamese pork chop with rice and my partner had the deep fried pork chop with rice. The mushroom soup was hot and creamy, salad was simple but fresh. We enjoyed our pork chops as it’s delicious. Also the portions were generous. The staffs were friendly and attentive too. Good value of money for a nice lunch. Recommend!
Interesting combination of salad with the dinner/lunch sets. Not quite old Hong Kong flavours though but it’s something I had to try at least once. Another franchise in the yum cha cruisine group - the new staff had no idea what they were doing and the food was difficult to eat due to the choice of serving dishes 3/5 first visit.

Edit: our second visit was much better than the first. Meal sizes are now reasonable and taste up to scratch

Worth a try when one's craving for Thai food. Theirs is localized which means not very spicy but overly sweet. Service was quick, food was serve pretty fast too. Kitchen is open concept as we can see the entire kitchen and the two young chefs behind the counter. Restaurant itself was rather small but still can house around 8 tables. We parked our car opposite at woolies' car park but beware as they have just implemented parking charges which is providing only 1hr free parking. Otherwise, plenty of car parks at the end of the shop lots next to Revesby train station.
• It is easy to spot.
• There are many tables inside but quickly full up around dinner time. So if you go with a group, better reserve.
• The service is quite efficient. At least they tell you how long you have to wait for your (first) dishes to be served.
• Personally, prices are reasonable with their serving portions.
• Food tastes good actually. However, as this is a Chinese restaurant, it is expected to be bit oily.
• Cash definitely preferred, but card is acceptable too (occasionally I suppose, just need to add extra 5% on the bill).
• With takeaway orders, I have ordered seafood noodles. One tasted amazing, another tasted much less. However, seafood orders should be only paid by cash.

Better eat in than takeaway.
Best local Thai restaurant.
I love their soft crab papaya salad and green curry.
DO NOT FORGET TO HAVE FRIED ICE CREAM DESSERT. It will give you a nice closeup.

Update after the lockdown:
• Green curry is not as flavourful as it used to be.
• Duck meat is quite salty to me.
• Soft Crab Papaya Salad is the BEST all the time!
• Fried ice cream is no longer available!

Food was that good that we didn't even take a photo before eating.

Had the vege Pad Thai and soft shell crab papaya salad.

Well balanced as the Pad Thai had that heavy feel and contrast to the salad. Good combo for 2 people. portions serving is good
A$ 75.- Disappointment.
I have had allot of average to bad duck dishes but rarely uneatable ones well here is one it must have bin reheated a few times or god knows.
I Do not know how the food is at the restaurant but delivered, well judge for your self .
Nice food. Look and taste nice. The pho here come with different sizes. Smallest for single, regular for very hungry and largest for share. The prices is comfortable. Just the 👵 grandma here at reception is a bit new to the work. But she seems nice and keep apologizing. One annoying thing is the flys here are a bit too many. Can’t get rid off.
We ordered the Fried Rice & Spicy fried rice was delicious and tasty. One of the best in Perth, at a good price and value we will be coming back!
Great pork bahn mi roll is crunchy as is the pork the vegetables were pickled and fresh as well. Pho was generous and flavourful and friendly staff couldn't ask for more

Delicious authentic Thai food!!!
The curry puffs are a must try. The pastry was so light and crunchy, and the curry filling was delicious.
I had the red coconut vegetarian curry and nearly died over the sauce it was delicious!!!! And my partner had the street style barbecue chicken, which he cleaned his plate! And there was a generous serving of chicken.
Will be back :)
