Our go to Thai Restaurant for 10yrs. Beautiful food
Tap water doesn't taste nice, not a great start. Beef Kee Mao heavily tasted fishy, sent it back, changed order. Chicken Pad Thai was less than average. The noodles served with these 2 meals have a taste and texture unlike noodles served in other restaurants and I wasn't a fan. The chicken satay entree was tasty. Overall it was a failure. Has been around 6 years since last visit, next visit will probably be in another 6 years or so.
We have been to Yakoo a few times now, this time we got a Penang Curry and Pad Thai, the food has usually been pretty consistent, but today the Pad Thai we got, the noodles were not fully cooked and pretty much inedible, the Penang curry was good as usual, not happy with this times experience, especially when it is the more expensive Thai restaurant in Engadine, I wish there was a bit more quality control.
We have eaten at Yakoo previously but on this occasion we're very disappointed. Slow to take our orders. Rice was COLD! and had to be sent back. Massaman lukewarm. Meals for 4 came out in dribs and drabs. Had to remind waitress for condiments that we ordered. No effort made to ensure customers are happy. Difficult to get the staff's attention for service. It was a Friday night but not that busy. The restaurant was also cold and we kept jackets on to stay warm. Sadly service in this country is woeful and it is no wonder restaurants come and go. Won't be back.
Best place to get both Cafe and Chinese food in Nerang, no doubt. There is so much variety and everything I've tried has been delicious! 10/10

Food is lovely, and lunch specials are sooo worth it! I always recommend it and many of my friends enjoyed their visit too. Pad thai and cashew nuts are my favourites!
Spot on once again! Hubby, daughter and I dined here tonight (Monday) and had yet another great evening of delicious food. For a Monday night the place was packed, glad I’d booked a table otherwise would not have got in.
We ordered fish cakes & crab spring rolls to start with, and for mains pork chili stir fry & red chicken curry and a coconut rice. Our meals were cooked to perfection, and the service was wonderful as always.

So glad to find good food with free local delivery, without having to involve one of *those* apps. Such a beautifully stress free ordering experience, quick and so hot and fresh.

I didn’t like the seafood salad with squid because the squid is very rubbery. I liked the pad see ew and tom yum. Didn’t like pad thai that much.
This place is Honestly the best Chinese I've had in my long years here on the Gold coast and that's no lie!! Great Service for just 2 people behind counter and very Friendly for Anyone who goes there.. Me and my family go here every weekend because it's that good 💯☝🏾

Stumbled upon this restaurant while searching for a thai restaurant in Perth while on a vacation with 4 adults and 5kids.
Thankfully they could take reservation. Gotta say I’m pleasantly impressed with the food quality! Especially loved their bbq pork cheek, pad thai and crab omelette. Tom yum soup great too as it was not too spicy for someone who can’t take much spice like me.:)

The sasty chicken sticks and the hookien noddles are the best things you will every taste in the world. I get this everyday while playing roblox. I recommened this! i rate this a 1000 out of 1000

What a lovely little Thai restaurant. A husband and wife team that works really well. Always parking and the food is delicious. Certainly worth visiting. You will fine once is not enough.
Delicious and authentic Thai food in Panania. Service is always friendly, portion sizes are generous and ambiance is great. Will continue to return. I love the coconut prawns for entree and pad kee mao for main.
Had Mother's Day lunch there today. Amazing food in good serving sizes and the serving staff were very pleasant and efficient, not being flustered by a packed out restaurant.

The portions were generous.
The mild was mild and the spicy was fairly spicy but still balanced.
The prices were very reasonable.

We love Tasty Thai Robina for both dine in and takeaway. The staff are great, the food is delicious and they really go out of their way to accommodate special requests such as vegan options and nut free. The restaurant has a lovely inviting atmosphere which makes dining in a pleasure. Our waitress the last time we dined in was fantastic, friendly and very efficient.
Really enjoyed our lunch here. We had chilli mussels, crab omelette, prawn pad thai noodle, sticky bbq pork, tom yum soup with prawn. Every single dish is delicious and would recommend! The prawn is huge and fresh👍👍👍
Service is wonderful too, the staff are very friendly and attentive, pleasant dining experience and will revisit if we come back to Perth!

First time here with friends who have been before. One of the best red curries I've had on the Coast. Hubby loved his Penang Curry also. Excellent flavours and spiced just right. Dish had a nice variety of veggies and we ordered rice on the side which was a good portion. A bit out of the way for us, but definitely worth the drive. Will come again. Thanks Team for a really delicious dinner!
Got 3 Takeaway Thai dishes for an easy dinner tonight. Absolutely beautiful, big servings, friendly staff, ready in less than 10 minutes, and even some free spring rolls as a nice surprise!. Will definitely be back!!
We enjoyed all of their food but especially the Crispy Thai pancake and their service😌💕 I ordered sparkling water and they kept brought

I miss Thailand 🇹🇭 so I visited this cute little restaurant for some pad Thai and fish cakes. It was tasty, and the staff were very friendly.
Overall the food is really good here and we had a good experience. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. We had a variety of dishes and all were generally quiet good. The only thing to note is they are very busy so you need to book in advance and they don't allow split billing.

3 of us dined here. There are lots of Thai restaurants in the area to choose from and it has come recommended. Glad we did - the food was very good. This will become my new Thai local for sure.

This is a great little restaurant which is situated at 19A Faraday Road, Padstow, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺. I had the Nasi Goreng and Panang King Prawns and it was delicious. My friends had their meals and they enjoyed them. The staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant is in a very convenient location. It’s a lovely restaurant and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
The food is ok and the people working there try to do the right thing BUT the phone system is terrible and makes phoning in an order impossible. Nothing is ever done to improve the situation and the owner seems quite happy to persist with this pitiful situation.
Stopped for a snack on the go and ordered the 3x fried dim sims, 2x potato scallops and a coke. $17 is expensive, but I though "that's the Gold Coast!" Staff were friendly, so oh well. First thing I noticed when they handed the bags of food over was the dripping oil! Jumped in the car and headed off, eating on the go. Dim sims first - not bad but EXTREMELY oily! Then the potato scallops. First one wasn't bad, but also very oily, rhen I pulled out the WORST potato scallop I've EVER seen! Don't know what happened, but why would you give this monstrosity to a customer? Will not be back!

This is by far one of my favourite places to go and eat. The loveliest service from all the staff to excellent food, i really cant fault any of it. Everything on the menu tastes so amazing we just love it. Thank you team Heaven Spoon 😊

What fantastic food everything was delicious. A unassuming place but don’t judge the outside. You must try it. Very good prices as well. It’s the very best Thai I have had and I am very fussy about food. Lovely clean place too.
On our way to Royal National Park, my fiancé and I stopped by Engadine town centre to grab a bite. While there are mostly cafes around, we decided to try Thai food at Yakoo. Despite its almost fine dining setting, we were pleasantly surprised by the affordable prices. They even had lunch specials on a Sunday! We enjoyed the green curry with prawns and Pad Kee Mao, both authentic and delicious. Can’t recommend it enough! Please support this small business.

We used to order from Yakoo a lot and decided we wanted Thai takeaway one night. We utilised their online delivery service which was very easy to use. 10 minutes later than the estimated delivery time, which is fine in my opinion. The food though was not what is used to be. Very little sauce or flavour, chicken satay skewers were tiny and all just lacked the special something Yakoo used to be.
It's a very simple restaurant, zero atmosphere and typical picture menu's. It's not a fancy place to impress. But the food makes up for it. I've been 3 weeks in a row and tried something different everytime. And the food is amazing. It's fresh and flavoursome, and just enough to fill you up. This restaurant has now become my local Thai,
Just ordered the chicken fried rice for lunch, it was a very decent serving size, could feed two adults conservatively but a really big serve for a single person WAHOOO all of the carbs and goodness for my gym session after work.
I was greeted and served with a big smile by a friendly man at the counter and it really made my day, so thank you for the delicious food and great smile and good energy, always feels nice eating somewhere that has a good positive feel to it.

Im Thai, tried this place for the first time over the weekend. To my surprise the food is really good but the service needs improvement. The waitress didn’t communicate clearly as it was difficult to understand her and she forgot to order my main. The food took a while to come out and fortunately we followed up about my crispy barramundi curry order when all the other dishes had arrived. We didn’t want to reorder it as we had already been there for over an hour.
Got the roast duck salad, fried rice with sun-dried pork, rice dumplings, chicken curry, Thai pancake and old fashioned red curry. Recommend the rice dumplings, fried rice and curries. The food was delicious but watch out fellas because it is also 🥵🥵🌶️🌶️🔥🔥.
Best thai food in town and service is excellent. Love the new drink menu with cocktails and Mocktail so everyone can enjoy. Food and drink presentations are amazing!!

Got two dishes delivered yesterday. A fly flew out of the bag when I opened it so it wasn't a good sign.. the beef salad was sealed in a container so assumed the fly hasn't contaminated it like it had the chicken wings (were in an open foil bag). I started to eat the beef which looked poached, I started to notice strands of white hair, too many to be lemongrass. They definitely looked like hair from someone's head. It was absolutely disgusting. No hygiene practices at all here, avoid!

As a Thai person, I have a particular place to go eating and I know where has a good fresh food at affordable price. We had a couple of dishes, and all of them were delicious and fresh and had a traditional flavour in it. Service was outstanding with happy smiles. We really enjoyed our dinner and will be a new regular there. Highly recommended !!!
I have a great time here. The foods are delicious especially stir fried noodle with prawn and fried chilli fishes. I would give this as one of the best Thai restaurant in Gold Coast with very reasonable price.

We started with coconut prawns and moneybags expecting the standard frozen entrees that is available at all other Thai restaurants nearby. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the large, fresh prawns. The money bags were not like any I’ve ever tried. They were huge and filled with a perfectly seasoned chicken mince filling.
The mains were even better. They were generous in size and full of authentic flavours. Again, the seafood in the stir fry was they freshest I’ve ever had at a casual Thai restaurant.

The place looks like a usual Asian restaurant. But the service, quality of food and the flavour makes this restaurant set itself apart. If you like a bit of spice, try their Nasi Goreng. I reckon it's the best in the state.
The food was just amazing, the depth of flavour and quality makes this one of the best Thai restaurants I've been to. We had both vegan and meat dishes, the vegan tom yum soup was packed full od veggies and super tasty.

Great Thai with little waiting time. Nice and open, fresh food and friendly service. They now have a lunch special so it's very affordable.
You get what you paid for. And Thai on the Hill will not disappoint. Food has been updated from years back. The atmosphere is as good as it was. Services are lacking a little but good overall.
Firstly I never complain but his really deserves to be flagged. Ordered red beef curry and specified medium. We received a soup based consistency (I mean like chicken noodle soup - liquid) with no flavour and no heat at all. There was a few pieces of meat floating around and some beans. Upon calling them to discuss they were not interested in feedback. Won’t be going back and recommend you find a nice Thai restaurant if you are seeking a nice Thai meal

I sat and ate my food alone and the food seem to taste okay. The entrees were cold hence why I didn't finish eating them but I enjoy the green curry. The chicken is cooked separately for obvious reasons however the sauce was very nice. I had my green curry with coconut rice and that seem to taste fine. Overall it's expensive but tastes pretty good.
Simple but delicious food! They have lunch special and you can add any extras from their full menu. They seve the food in a timely manner. The lady who was there was also very accommodating. I would definitely go back as this is just around the corner from my place. I just wish they have pawpaw salad on the menu but other than that I recommend this place.
We have had takeaway (Menulog) and loved it. Best Thai around. Then we thought we would visit them and have a meal at their restaurant. The food is So good and so delicious. Just as good at the restaurant as well as takeaway. We’ll be repeat customers for both options. Fantastic food. So authentic.
Very friendly staff and a great variety of vegan options! Prices are also very reasonable for the amount of food you get per meal. And as a nice bonus, they have bubble tea!
Tastes good, we’ve had them a half dozen times now. But servings seem to be getting small, and the “upsized” meals are just a 1cm higher container that’s not filled to the top cm. Maybe it was a mistake, but they still charged us the extra $$$. It’s a shame.

I must complained the service. They open at 5 pm and it is taking them 45 mins to approve this on menulog ??? You can do better than this. When i ordered doy tao , they approve it in 5 mins.
After they approve it around 5:48 pm, they changed the delivery time at 6:20 pm . At 6:20 pm, they put my delivery as completed. What the????
I called them and asked where my food is. The girl told me that they have a lot of takeaway and it needs to be delivered at 6:45 pm. If they need to change the time, you should not mark my order as completed. Food arrived around 6:50 pm and the driver apologised for delay . 30 mins delay.

Satay tofu - normal deep fried tofu and satay sauce. Sauce is good
Duck pancake - look at the pic, small serving. I prefer the sauce separately as i only taste the hoisin sauce.
Tom yum chicken - too much sugar in the soup. Please i want more sourness balancy with spicyness not sugar taste.
Sweet sour pork - the worst dish. I never seen any restaurants e.g chinese restaurants put tomatoes in sweet sour dishes .
Lacking flavour of sweet sour pork. Maybe you can use le kum kee sweet sour sauce as it is better than yours.
Crispy pork belly with oyster sauce- the most expensive dishes at the night.
Overall it is ok dishes, but the oyster sauce too dominantly on the sauce so make the dish is salty. For 18 bucks, i prefer to get big portion not small like that.

I must complained the service. They open at 5 pm and it is taking them 45 mins to approve this on menulog ??? You can do better than this. When i ordered doy tao , they approve it in 5 mins.
After they approve it around 5:48 pm, they changed the delivery time at 6:20 pm . At 6:20 pm, they put my delivery as completed. What the????
I called them and asked where my food is. The girl told me that they have a lot of takeaway and it needs to be delivered at 6:45 pm. If they need to change the time, you should not mark my order as completed. Food arrived around 6:50 pm and the driver apologised for delay . 30 mins delay.

Food taste
Satay tofu - normal deep fried tofu and satay sauce. Sauce is good
Duck pancake - look at the pic, small serving. I prefer the sauce separately as i only taste the hoisin sauce.
Tom yum chicken - too much sugar in the soup. Please i want more sourness balancy with spicyness not sugar taste.
Sweet sour pork - the worst dish. I never seen any restaurants e.g chinese restaurants put tomatoes in sweet sour dishes .
Lacking flavour of sweet sour pork. Maybe you can use le kum kee sweet sour sauce as it is better than yours.
Crispy pork belly with oyster sauce- the most expensive dishes at the night.
Overall it is ok dishes, but the oyster sauce too dominantly on the sauce so make the dish is salty. For 18 bucks, i prefer to get big portion not small like that.

Food was poor, unappealing and lacking flavour. Fish Cakes had consistency of thongs and lacked flavour. Worst pad see yiew I’ve ever had. Lack of flavour and not a lovely smell. Photos show how much was thrown. Penang Curry slightly better but still poor. To make matters worse they forgot the rice and dessert and took 40 minutes to deliver the rest. Overall, very sub par. Will not go back

The BBQ Pork is AMAZING so is the lamb massaman curry, and panang chicken is on point 💫💫💫
We did pick up as its a lot quicker than delivery and it was so worth it.

My First Visit since Thai Ashmore moved from Ashmore Road to Ashmore Plaza on Cotlew Street.
The Restaurant looks Really Nice, with Lovely décor.
They Still have Great Quality Food & the Lunch Specials.
Had the Pad Keemow with Pork. The Taste and Presentation were Very Good.

Delicious food, well sized portions for the price of lunch special. Place is easily accessible by car or public transport. Family friendly restaurant; available high chair, plastic cutlery for the kids, warmth ambiance and open dining space. Im looking forward to try other menu.
Nice little quite place. Good service, friendly staff and reasonable prices. The food is delicious. Plenty of street parking. Had the money bag, laksa and pad thai.
Sunday afternoon lunch equals perfection in a plate. Simply delicious, well crafted and presented. Warm and welcoming atmosphere with soft piano jazzy music in the background. The Danish inspired furniture make the decor cozzy and relaxing. The service is customer oriented with great presence and beautiful smile. Highly recommended.
