Best Mediterranean restaurants in Greece

We got seated at the cliff area and the views were amazing. Service and food were excellent. Our server took a lot of pictures and sommelier’s recommendation was right what we were looking for the wine characteristic that we prefer.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, however they placed me in a special needs room, with very low facilities and if you have a back pain and can't bend, it makes your stay really uncomfortable. When asked if all the rooms were this low - sink top, and toilet etc- they said all rooms were like this - clearly not the case looking at the website.

I took a special car organised by you to drive me to the airport at around 3.30 pm on the 6th of December. My driver was an older guy, and the hotel charged me €120 for this service due to the taxi strike. I wanted to let you know that the service was beyond appalling, the driver left me at arrivals - not departures because he didn't want to pay the entry fee. He also told me to pick up my own suitcase - which is something I'd never heard before from any taxi driver in any place of the world. For 120 euros, I'd expect really excellent service and when I mentioned this to your driver, he turned around and walked off without saying anything, not even a thank you and goodbye. I am disappointed and appalled by this behaviour especially when you pay three times as much as a normal price. Please bring this up with your staff as I wouldn't expect such low standard behaviour and service from a driver hired by the Plaza.

Interesting and elegant restaurant with special tastes.

Three of us stayed here for a week . Our stay was nothing less than memorable. The staff was extremely courteous, professional , friendly , kind and attentive . The hotel and rooms are clean . Location is superb smack dab in the middle of the action ! A special shout to Maria who took special care of us during breakfast . Will definitely stay here on our next visit ! Highly recommend!

Absolutely Amazing! We were recommended this restaurant from a local taxi driver on the last evening of our holiday and I am so glad we went. The service from the moment we arrive till the moment we left was incredible. The food was amazing especially if your a bit of a foodie like us. It was lovely to learn that this is a family business. We would come back to Rhodes island just to eat here again!

This was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had! My husband loved the meat, said it was tender, went down like butter, and was extremely flavorful. We loved the brie and I had the gnocchi which were AMAZING! And the dessert was out of this world (we had the chocolate soufflé and baked Alaska). If you are on Thessaloniki...go here!!!

OMG it's Beautiful and peaceful here

Had a four night stay here last week. The hotel location cannot be beat - perfect for on-foot sightseeing in Athens! All of the staff that we encountered were very helpful and friendly. Overall, a nice property. Our room was nice, but seems to be in need of an update. Would have been nice to have some outdoor furniture on the balcony! Again - a nice hotel, but could stand a remodel in the rooms, especially. We also felt that the breakfast was just okay - the hot dishes seemed a bit off somehow (especially the cold breakfast potatoes). But plenty of variety available. Suggestion - how about a rooftop bar? Would have loved to have seen the Acropolis from the top of the building! Seems like a missed opportunity to me!

If you are looking for amazing greek food, a romantic setting and attentive staff then this is the place for you. Staff were very friendly and got our food and drink out to us quite quickly. The food was so tasty and we even got a free dessert at the end which was an added bonus. Would definitely recommend coming here.

This was an incredible experience. The food was awesome...I asked what a solid fully 'Greek' dish would be and he recommended the Moussaka. It was so good. The views at this place are truly breathtaking. Can't recommend enough...would love to have seen it at sunset!

Stellar wine selection and best pork steak & lamb chops on Santorini; finished off with unique (and delicious) dessert options

We were told we had an updated room with a balcony. It was a very small balcony with a view of the parliament which was nice. Room was small and needed some renovation. Large rust stain running down the tub in the bathroom and outdated fixtures. On the positive side, the staff was friendly and it was a very good location, close to things you wanted to do and had a view of the Acropolis.

Amazing views looking over Lindos and the Acropolis. Mixed grill for two is well worth trying.

Amazing amazing amazing food. So fresh, so flavorful! And the service was wonderful! The view was also very beautiful! It was completely dark but the atmosphere was great and the view of Santorini lit up at night was gorgeous.

The owner who is also a waiter is really warm and nice person. But the food plays the main role. We ate stufado, suvlaki, grilled squid And everything was tasty and high quality. I do recommend this place!

Unbeatable location, great food & drinks, and warm hospitality sums up our great experience! Chef Christina cooked Sea Bass to perfection, was very kind to offer it at our table and strike a friendly conversation while serving, that's service at it's best! Highly recommend this place.

Wait staff isn’t very friends she was very short not helpful with questions. The portions were huge and food was decent not excellent. Beautiful atmosphere and indoor and outdoor seating with covered areas water front dining.

Food was good and staff was friendly. What I didn’t like is that the waiter will peel the shrimps for you but the way he’ll do it will waste half of the shrimp so instead of jumbo shrimp you’ll get half shrimp.

Great location tucked away on a quiet little street tucked away from the crowds. A real find and very popular. The food was very good. Freshly cooked sardines, griddled meat skewers and crispy squid plus amazing fried courgettes. Fried potatoes and Greek salad also well prepared and fresh.Definitely one to try if you are looking for something special in Thessaloniki.

We came here according to google maps reviews. What one must definitely prepare for is: waiting. if you come after 8 p.m., be prepared to wait for a table for about 30 minutes. - so you must reserve a table! The service is very fast and friendly. The staff really tries to fulfill the guest's wishes. The food is tasty, but standard food. We didn't eat anything prepared differently here. Authentic Greek food with a bit more fish on offer. The location makes this restaurant magical!

I don't normally leave bad reviews as I am more of a praise in public and scold in private sort of person. However, given the absurd price of this meal compared to teh value received, I feel the need to warn others to avoid a similar feeling of disappointment.

Let's start with the positives. Yes, the location is very pretty. It's on a small outcropping in Oia. The problem is that there are probably 100 other restaurants with an equally pretty view that don't cost anywhere near the amount this place charges. It's a nice view, but nearly identical to all the restaurants in the village with a view.

They don't rush you. Okay, this may be a backhanded compliment because they do the opposite of rush you. This was a four hour long meal. Now, don't get me wrong, I love a nice leisurely meal that allows me to enjoy the food, the wine and the atmosphere. The problem is that the food was spaced out so far apart that we were eating for 5 minutes then waiting 20 minutes for the next course. We actually had to ask for the check before the dessert becuase we had been there so long.

OKay, for the less positive part of the review. The food just wasn't very good. Was if fancy? Yes. But it seemed fancy for the sake of fancy not becuase it was an innovative way to enhance the flavors of the food. Each dish had some unique element of givng you a dish with a few fancy elements and then they would pour some sauce over the top. Or, it had some foam mousse of mushroom blah blah blah that was supposed to make it look expensive. It just didn't taste very good.

Okay, but surely over 9 courses we received a lot of food right? Wrong. Each course was so tiny and unsatisfying that we actaully left the restaurant and went to a souvlaki place around the corner to satisfy our hunger. The portions were tiny! We even upgraded to the lobster for an additonal €60. What we received was a two inch x one inch long piece of lobster. It was literally two bites! I wasn't expecting a whole lobster, but at least give me a whole lobster tail for that price!

Finally, we decided to go with the wine pairing for an additional €143....EACH! What does nearly €300 of wine get you, apparantly not very much at this restaurant. Maybe we should have considered ourselves warned when the waiter tried to talk us out of the wine pairing and told us for teh same price we could get a bottle of wine along with a few additional glasses for after dinner. Unfortunately, we did not heed his warning and decided to stubbornly press on.

Keeping with the theme of the food, the pours were tiny. Also, given the issue with the timing of the food on nearly every course we received the wine 15 minutes before the food came. By the time we had the food for the course the wine was long gone.

We ate at a lot of restaurants in Santorinni while visiting and this meal was by far the worst. To make it worse, at nearly €900, it was also most expensive meal we ate by an even larger margin.

I think this is a tourist trap for people looking to do something extravegant and fancy while in Santorinni. I think thats a great idea, but you can achieve it while spending one third of the price of this restaurant AND get better food.

This place was awesome. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I requested a table right by the water and that’s what we got. We had an amazing sunset view. The food was delicious (very tasty). Good prices and not wait time (I had reservations). We visited on 1st week October.

Stopped off at the restaurant for a coffee and sat outside overlooking the water and little venice.

It was so relaxing sitting there with the views.

The coffee was good, so I ordered another and the service was friendly too.

Ich war nun zum 4 mal in Lindos, habe einige Restaurants besucht. Für mich ist es eines der besten! Ich war im September 6 mal in diesem Restaurant und wurde nie enttäuscht! Das essen war jedes mal ein Genuss! Der Service der beiden Kellner/in waren im super, freundlich und hilfsbereit! Vielen dank an die beiden. Und der Küche ein grosses Lob! Ich kann dieses Restaurant mlt bestem Gewissen weiterempfehlen! Freue mich auf nächstes Jahr!

Beautiful setting, relaxed and feels like a botanical garden you are dining in. Great service and the food was all delicious. Large portions and we took some home for later! Had the gyro platter.

Service was great and recommendations were perfect. Had the beef stifado and a glass of house red. Both of which were high quality and delicious.

So nice and wonderful place in Crete! Especially, Fried squids are really really delicious and my first squids in my life. And really kind and helpful.

Tucked in the middle of small alleyways is a greek restaurant that feels like an Italian trattoria. The sitting in the street creates a wonderful vibe, and the food is perfectly made. We tried several dishes, including the moussaka, meatballs in yogurt, and beef cheeks, and all were delicious.
The staff was friendly and the service was efficient. I'd love to come back.

The place is gorgeous, the staff exceptionally nice. Unfortunately the food lacks a lot. I ordered the garlic bread (3€) and the seafood linguine (22€) and what I got was 6 slices of dry, not garlicky baguette and very oily and bland pasta. Both dishes didn’t taste like much.

This place was worth the hype. Food was excellent and prepared with care, the venue is gorgeous, and the service is lovely. It is slow-paced so you can relax and enjoy the food. Don’t come here expecting a quick in-and-out dinner, this is a full experience meal.

We only stayed one night en route to a cruise, however on our return one week later we had a day to look around Athens before our flight home. The hotel took care of our cases so that we could wander luggage free.

Taste food, the octopus was a little overcoocked, but the other dish was nice

Great location in the heart of Athens. Many of the rooms have an incredible view of the Acropolis from the balcony. Wonderful service that went above and beyond even arranging a delivery of left behind medication to the airport. The restaurant is up scale and tasty. Room service excellent. Highly recommend staying here if you want to be in the center of the action.

Such an intimate setting. George makes you feel at home from the moment you walk through the door.

Definitely a place we will recommend all to visit. Great atmosphere in the evening where you can sit outdoor in the cool air for a fine meal. We had the grilled octopus, seafood orzo pasta and fried calamari with beers. All were very well done. I especially like the Seafood Orzo Pasta with its generous seafood and taste. It would be perfect if we have a more generous serving of the octopus and smaller serving of the fried calamari.

Amazing last dinner in Rhodes with my husband. Food was amazing, starters and mains! Mocktail I was recommended also super sweeeeeet. All waiters were super lovely and friendly. I even got offered a waitress job ;) I couldn't fault the food whatsoever. Large portions and amazing flavours
It is super pricey but its a 5 star service and food you receive. Definitely recommend it.

The reviews are over exaggerating the restaurant… food was not bad but not the best really like the entree cheese paties and grilled aubergine.. the rest were just ok, would not recommend would not come back again. also waiters are not friendly.

This was undoubtedly the culinary highlight of our stay in Corfu. The food was nothing short of incredible.

The service is great as well, high attention to detail.

We sat in the outdoor area of the restaurant, which has an ok vibe, maybe the tables further away from the road are better. The interior is modern, and it has AC for hotter days.

It's a bit on the pricier side, however, like I mentioned it is totally worth it. At the end you're offered a home-made digestive which was really tasty.

If you're in town definitely give it a try. The grilled octopus is a must try.

The view is good. However, you won't have a sunset view, just the colors. It was crowded in our August trip, so we made a reservation through our hotel front desk. Easy to get in.

Another overpriced restaurant for what it offers. Supposedly it offers premium quality meat cuts, but unfortunately what we tasted was blunt and chewy. What really surprised me was that such a "fancy" restaurant didn't have any normal salt apart rock type salt. As a result we ate our salad crunching within our teeth rock salt. Furthermore, while smoking is prohibited in the restaurant, there was a couple dining just outside, infront of an open window, and the gentleman was smoking a heavy cigar, exhaling all the smoke inside the restaurant. When I asked a waiter to tell him to stop smoking he replied that he can't do it. Thanks for the awful experience!

The view is very nice. All dishes are yummy with reasonable portion.
Cocktail is comparatively expensive but it may be attributed to the high tax.

This address is a must in Oia, we ate twice here. The food was succulent and the atmosphere of the restaurant was pretty great.

Their risotto was delightful, their seafood pasta was good and their grilled octopus was delicious.

Genuinely fantastic, friendly service with treat recommendations. Delicious food, and lovely setting.
The meat tigania is highly recommended, and bonus points for the friendly cats too.

What a find. Absolutely a must for a meal out. Fresh salad and all ingredients for the main meal. Attentive staff with gentle music in the background. Off the beaten track from old corfu town with views of the old fortress. Beautiful.

Das Essen war lecker.
Ich musste ca. 20 Minuten warten bis ich die Getränke bestellen konnte. Unsere Gruppe wurde von den Kellern ignoriert, da unsere Bedienung Chefsache (Boss) war. Der Wein wurde gebracht, das passende und fehlende Glas wurde dann geholt und das Wasser mit Gas kam nicht, war aber auf der Rechnung. Allerdings war ich positiv überrascht, dass das Essen nach der Bestellung schnell kam. Pfeffer und Salz habe ich mir selbst von der Kellnerstation geholt.

Die Portionen sind sehr übersichtlich. Auf den Foto sieht man ein Hauptgericht und keine Vorspeise. Nach einem Spice Feta, Griechischen Salat und Soutzoukakia war ich noch hungrig. Einige aus der Gruppe haben nach dem Hauptgang noch Vorspeisen nachbestellt. Auf Grund der Portionsgrösse der Hauptgerichte ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht gut

Boss kam auch vorbei und fragte nach dem Rechten, aber dreht sich schnell um und verschwand wieder bevor ich etwas einwenden konnte.

Unsere Gruppe wollte getrennt Zahlen (Ja typisch deutsch) da nicht alle mit Karte zahlen wollten. Boss diskutierte herum, das dieses nicht möglich ist. Anschliessend schickte er seine junge Kollegin, die dieses für ihn machte. Sie hat sie bemüht das Chaos und die negative Stimmung wieder in den Griff zu bekommen. Danke.

Das war das erste Mal in meinem Leben, dass ich in einem Griechischen Restaurant nicht satt wurde. Ich bin frustriert nach Hause und das Personal tat mir leid.

Empfehlung an das Restaurant:
1. Boss nach Hause schicken. Das Personal kann das auch ohne Boss und wahrscheinlich besser. Diesen Eindruck hat sich aus der Beobachtung der Nachbartische ergeben, die vom Personal bedient wurden.
2. Portionsgrössen der Hauptgerichte um Faktor 1.5 erhöhen. Dann wären es mindestens 4 Sterne.

We visited this nice restaurant with my friend on my trip through Greece.
The service was very efficient and friendly.
The didn’t have a couple of cuts in the menu but the meat was well prepared cooked in the right temperature and quite tasty.
I didn’t get the hot plate as the steak was already cook in the temperature asked.
The design of the restaurant didn’t tell me something about the identity of the cousin.
Still not sure what it is.
But not a bad experience over all.

I arrived just after opening and found the cozy place already serving two other lunches. The warm hospitality shown by the owner (took photo of me) and server was delightful. oh and great souvlaki too!

Tasty dishes, helpful and cheerful staff. We had a great lunch! Only part of the order was patient enough to make it in the photos.

Fresh, deliciously seasoned tuna with smoked veggies and baby potatoes was to die for. My partner, who doesn't like fish - tuna especially - tried it and asked for a second bite. Friendly and helpful staff and lovely atmosphere.

We stopped in Oia and this was our first stop as we were hot and hungry. The food was amazing and the view was great. Very happy we stopped her for lunch and drinks. The Dolma were warm and tasted amazing and the Chicken Soluvloki tasted great. Wonderful spot with a view.

Absolutely amazing restaurant! Cannot recommend this enough! We were seated and served by the kindest old man who looked after us to the best he could! There’s no way he was 76! The service and hospitality was second to none, and food was the best meal we’ve had all holiday (the fish pie was to die for). Would recommend 100%!

I received such a warm welcome from George in his beautiful restaurant. It feels like visiting family! Wine and food were delicious. I can recommend the white fish stuffed with prawns. Stylish bathrooms and immaculately clean. A lovely experience in Lindos!

Hands down the best meal we had while in Corfu! My friends and I made a reservation for 19.00 on a Wednesday in August. Here's our experience.

1) Food: To feed five of us, we ended up ordering lots of small plates. We ordered the feta, tomatoes, eggplant dip, tsigareli, mushrooms with garlic, grilled meatballs, shrimps with garlic, and bread. Literally, everything was perfectly prepared and very tasty, especially the tomatoes, mushrooms, feta, and eggplant. The tomatoes came from the local farmers market and were the best I've ever had.

For dessert, we got the chocolate souffle, cheesecake, and kumquat pie. Each was very good!

2) Drinks: We ordered a bottle of local Sauvignon Blanc and cold water. At the end of our meal, the server brought over dessert wine on the house. It was sweet and delicious!

3) Service: From start to finish, it was impeccable. Our server recommended the right dishes and checked in on us throughout.

4) Space: If you want AC, grab a table inside. If not, their outdoor patio is spacious and beautiful.

I have been coming here for 3 years now. The location is excellent and rooms are great. There is a delicious breakfast. However I can not say enough about the staff. I lost my Cartier watch at airport security. I realised once I boarded the plane but they would not let me off and told me to go to lost and found when we landed who would not help me. Lost and found gave me the wrong number to call. The front desk staff at the hotel not only found the correct number but spent a lot of time calling themselves and located my watch. They went above and beyond, Georgos and especially Maria! THANK YOU!!! I could not be happier. It is a great value and wonderful experience.

Sehr schöne, kreativ gestaltete Taverne, die bunten Stühle fallen schon von weitem auf, zentral in einer Seitengasse gelegen. Sehr freundlicher Wirt, Speisekarte mehrsprachig. Das Essen war so lecker, daß leider kein Foto, außer vom griechischen Salat entstanden ist. Die Calmari, das Tsaziki und das Mousakka haben leider kein Foto mehr bekommen, weil es so schnell leer war. Schöne Hintergrundmusik, es macht Freude hier zu sitzen.

Everything was great! Nice atmosphere, professional and friendly waiters and tasty food! I recommend to try the calamari souvlaki and especially the moussaka croquettes which were amazing!

We tried not only this restaurant but also two others in the nearby square and one at the end of the old city. Out of these four, this restaurant was the best even though it cost a bit more. For instance, a bottle of water was 4 euros. But the food was really tasty, the service was great, and the host, Christos, who was 76 years old, was really friendly.

The food is great but unfortunately, the two steaks that were ordered medium rare and verified a few times by our server, arrived well done. Disappointing, especially for the price.

Our salmon was ordered medium and was cooked perfectly.

We visited last night on a recommendation of a friend in London, we’ll they excelled themselves, the food, the setting and the staff were outstanding, if you’re visiting Rhodes this restaurant is well worth a trip, thank you for giving us such a lovely evening.

Amazing!! That is all I can say about this place: beautiful restaurant with a great menu, also with traditional Greek food. We tried the mousaka - big portion, very tasty, made out of fresh and good quality ingredients. We also had a mindblowing desert - the orange cake was one of the best cakes I’ve had in my life!

I had the special salad, I love the idea of the ingredients. The only thing that the vinaigrette was too much for me, couldn't finish the salad. So I suggest to ask the sauce separately or ask them to put less.

The best Greek restaurant overall in Corfu.
I loved everything about Avli, from the rustic and cosy atmosphere, to the warm and friendly staff. And the food, high quality, sourced from small organic producers and seafood so fresh it tastes as if it was caught the same day.
We were fortunate to be served by Maykis, who made sure our visit was unforgettable.
Avli represents what a Greek restaurant should be - People who love to cook and serve quality food, minimalist atmosphere and tradition.

Great location, atmosphere and service. However, the food isn't totally great. The Greek salad and the tuna were good, however the chicken from the mezzaluna salad seemed a little out of date, same for the potatoes served with the tuna...Prices are correct (little bit high for salad).

Had a lovely dinner on my recent trip to lindos. My friend had the fish of the day and I had the broccoli pasta in cream sauce both amazing. My friend and I shared their courgette puffs and shrimp sagnaki. For dessert we had their creme catalan (brulee) amazing.

The servers are extremely kind and loving. They tend to all your needs and make a lovely conversation. The food is extremely good. Exactly like you asked and served quickly and fresh. I really recommend!

THE BEST!! Authentic freshly prepared Greek cuisine, amazing attentive service and hospitality. Tucked away off the main strip of restaurants in a quiet area, this is a real gem with shaded courtyard and a must visit. The best moussaka and gyros!

The food is excellent with a magnificent sunset view. All the food that we ordered were good (octopus, mussels, gyro and meatballs, chocolate mouse). They also sang a happy birthday song for me. The staff are very attentive on our needs and friendly. Excellent customer service especially Kostas.

Highly recommend. After eating at several other restaurants in the area I was disappointed. However Mystilli made up for it. Lovely pleasant and chatty waiters. The food was amazing! Beef stifado was especially tasty! Will be going back again very soon

The food here is decent, the banoffee is extremely good. We reserved a sea view table, and you essentially pay for the view. All of the servers were extremely kind. The only problem you'll run into view-wise is people taking pictures on the rocks. Couldn't have asked for a better view for our last night!

The hotel was good and staff was nice but there was one big exception which put a real damper on our trip. We needed to do laundry and the cost turned out to be outrageous and I feel we were gouged. For 4 people doing 5 days worth of laundry (just wash, dry and hang/fold) they charged us $1,000 (or euros which is more)! Then when we questioned this the hotel manager never responded or called us back and the staff said we should have check the pricing. I fully accept I should have looked at the pricing before but assumed it would be at average pricing that I have seen elsewhere and that I researched, not 2-3 times this amount. Otherwise everything else was very nice at this hotel.

Honestly, one of the best places where I have eaten in my life. We came back twice during our holiday. Incredible food, good price, great service, wonderful atmosphere. Moussaka, fried zucchini and millefoglie truly unmissable. It is very busy, particularly during the weekend so book in advance!

We visited Rouga on a busy Saturday evening and the staff helped us finding a table immediately.

There was live Greek music, but too loud, which is nice.

The menu has a great variety of Greek food and we tried many appetizers and a main dish. Everything was excellent and in good quantities. Their wine is also very nice.

Overall, one of my favourites in the city. Keep it up!

Visited this amazing restaurant 2 times with my daughter and we were welcomed by a very polite friendly man called Kristos. The inviting entrance led us to an interesting attractive garden where we dined. The food was exceptional and very well presented. We had the Saganaki fish pie with home made pastry that melted in your mouth.

Also the calamari which was the best I have had, was stuffed with a great filling served with healthy courgetti/carot noodles. Both dishes had great flavours with fresh ingredients.

The restaurant itself is beautiful. We sat up on their gorgeous terrace and the view was picturesque, one of the best we experienced. All of the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. They were very accommodating to us with our small children (an 11 month old & 3 year old). They were incredibly sweet interacting with them the entire time, it was highly appreciated as it helped us feel at ease, unlike other restaurants.
Unfortunately, we were sort of let down on the food side of things. Which was such a shame as it started off so strong, the starter (Bao Buns) were absolutely delicious. And my partner got a simple pitta plate which he really enjoyed. But then the main course was quite a shock when it came out. As pictured, it was about as appetising as it looked. I will admit though that we have both agreed we believe this can be put down to bad food choices on our behalf as the dishes at the tables beside us looked delicious!! So bearing that all in mind I would try here again if we go back to Lindos and would recommend to others but maybe make better choices!

Lycabettus is a place for that fine dining "treat yourself" splurge meal.

Reservations are recommended months in advance. There are three types of reservations: Sommelier’s Table (high back chairs at the edge of the cliff area), Cliff Area (9 tables), and Lounge Area (the rest of the seating away from the cliff). You may get lucky with last minute reservations for the lounge area.

The food is high end so small portions, super tasty, and beautifully plated. While portions are small, they bring out a bunch of different hors d'oeuvres/canapés courtesy of the chef in between main dishes, so you'll feel full when the evening is over.

Being a fine dining establishment, service was perfection.

Service was really good, always had some asking if we needed something or had a question about the food! It was a little cold (late may), but they did offer us blankets. The food was small and pricey, but this is a white cloth dinner. Chicken was really good and the dessert was amazing! Amazing views but on the balcony, not sunset views.

Amazing traditional Greek food! We had tzatziki, Pastitsio and assorted meat skewers, all of which were amazing! There was live music while we dined and our servers were lovely. Highly recommend this restaurant!! Would have taken photos but we got to excited to eat the delicious food.

Restaurant in a cute alley way hidden from the main streets of Thessaloniki. All dishes we ordered were very yummy, and I especially liked the fried mushrooms. The service was fast and friendly. We also got dessert on the house.🙌 Since we had late lunch, we didn't have trouble getting a table without a reservation, but it looked pretty full even for that time so might be best to book a table if you're going for regular lunch or dinner time.

I want to start out by saying how wonderful, caring, and enthusiastic the staff are. But wow, no wonder they don't have a michelin star yet. The food is downright gross. Beautiful, but absolutely horrid combinations. I've been to a few michelin Star restaurants and done degustation menus, and sometimes you find a plate that just isint to your tasting. I think over the entire night, my family and I only really enjoyed one or two dishes. It was a real case of pushing our food around the plate to look like we ate it.
We also went on a day that became unfortunately very windy, even more unfortunately, lycabettus has no backup plans for inclement weather. After about an hour in the wind, a solution of using an empty hotel room was found (which the staff was wonderful and made the absolute best of).
TLDR- if it's bad weather or even subpar weather, you should cancel your reservation. And I'd recommend the a la Carte menu instead as I strongly advise against the tasting menu.

Nice little Greek tavern in the heart of Heraklion old town, with a lot of other restaurants nearby. Somehow it seemed pleasant enough for us to want to sit and have a lunch there.
The service was attentive and effective. The food and wine were good, even though portion sizes were rather small. Prices were reasonable for the location.
Raki and sweet cherries at the end were a pleasant surprise complimenting our visit.

The food was nice, however we waited almost two hours to get it and the portions were somewhat small for the size. If the place was packed or there would have been communication about this, it would have been one thing but there was no indication and we even saw people next to us leave due to the long waiting time.

Very average food and uninterested waiters serving it. High prices. I had a prawn risotto and felt it was quite heavy. The place itself looks nice and it has a nice rooftop with a view to The Acropolis. However, it is very impersonal and very pretentious I’d say. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Update: the restaurant’s response only proves my point. If changing tables (because I asked to) and taking a photograph means great service, you don’t know what is customer service at all. Train your staff and deliver 5 stars service or this place won’t survive.

Amazing dining experience along with great service in a wonderful enviroment. Top quality ingredients in every plate from starters to desserts. Probably the best restaurant in Thessaloniki.

Had a wonderful family lunch on a special occasion! Ordered all of the five hot starters on the menu and shared some picanha and ribeye! Warm and cozy interior, very extensive yet affordable wine list and friendly and helpful staff! Although good things do not come cheap, the perceived quality is unquestionable!

Indeed, this is one of the best restaurants in town, but for us something did not click. It was very nice to be welcomed with some champagne and some local sauces, the food was really nice for the mains (I recommend the steak with pepper sauce). Now, on the other side, we waited around 40 minutes for our starters and the lava cake was not so much a “lava” cake. But, of course, I really appreciate that here food is more important than a view. Maybe we did not come in the right moment to leave this restaurant a 5 stars review.

Best food from Heraklion. All the food was fresh and cooked after order.
We had spaghetti with sea food, sardines with fresh potatoes, mix grilled with meat(without lamb).
And about tzatziky - best from Greece! 😁

Upon entering we were greeted by the owner and host, who converted his house into a restaurant, and who offered us sparkling wine. We arrived somewhat earlier than the other guests, and had the chance to exchange pleasant banter with him. We ordered apetizers along with fish of the day (sea bream), all of which were of high quality and tasted excellent. The recommended white wine was a sauvignon blanc from the north of Greece, also very good. We finished with creme catalan and sorbet. All in all, a great experience and perhaps the best restaurant in Lindos (especially if you care more about food than a rooftop view of the acropolis).

Excellent restaurant in a quiet part of town. The restaurant has an Italian name and serves both Italian and Greek dishes. Can recommend the sea bass, but it seems fish is generally prepared and cooked well here. Sevice runs the entire day till late at night.

This place is a gem in a city full of delicious dining options, this one stands out from the rest! Each plate is deliciously prepared as the chef says, “made with love” and packed with a punch of flavors in each bite. You can definitely tell the chef pours her heart in each plate and presentation! We have dined in many places in the US and abroad and we thought this place may very well be the best restaurant we have been to. We highly recommend the appetizers, salads and steaks- you cannot go wrong! Do not forget to try the desserts-they are amazing. Each dish is meticulously prepared and looks like a piece of art. We have tried many beautiful dishes that lack taste, but “not” here! Each dish does not disappoint and you feel like,wow, can the next plate match the previous ones expectations? Nothing disappoints! Make sure you make a reservation for dinner at least two days in advance. An added bonus is the owners (including the chef) walk around and are part of the very good service staff that make you feel at home and come to ask you about your meal. Super friendly and warm. We even took pictures before we left. It was like visiting family.

I cannot explain how good this restaurant is. By far the best restaurant in Lindos. The food is stunning and George, the owner, is a delight. Didn't feel like we were in a restaurant, it felt like we were in George's house for dinner. The chocolate lava cake is probably the best dessert I have had in my life!

Super leckeres Essen. Sehr gute Qualität. Sehr nettes Personal. Das Lokal ist klein aber fein. Die Preise sind für Griechenland Verhältnisse etwas hoch aber für die Qualität gerechtfertigt. Kann es jedem empfehlen. Da es ziemlich ausgebucht ist sollte man mehrere Tage im voraus reservieren. Gratulation alles Top
