Mikey was amazing - helped us through all our questions and made the whole day so seamless. We had the best day riding to Sausalito and taking the ferry back to pier 41. Will definitely rent again next time we’re in town!
My wife and I had an awesome experience rented 2 e-bikes this week in Cape San Blas. What an incredible way to see the cape they were a blast! Great communication from the owners just a first rate company!
Today we went cycling with our family, my husband and I took our bikes but we had to rent 2 bikes for the others. When we rented the bikes they asked us how long we would rent them for, we said 2 hours and paid $40. $10 per hour per bike. The trail is beautiful but it is very tiring so we only did it for 50 minutes since we were with older people. When we returned the bikes we asked if they could refund us the money for the time we didn't use. There were two men and they were very rude to us. They made us feel very bad and the way they spoke to us seemed like they were making fun of us for not speaking English well (we are Latin) I never want to go back to that place to rent a bike.
We have been to this bike and walking path twice as visitors to the state. The path is well maintained and wide enough for all types of patrons.
I was a bit confused about the use of motorized single wheels and e-bikes. There could be more definition as to these new additions to the path.
Definitely beautiful beach like most of them all are in Florida the pier is absolutely beautiful and great to walk out to. The sand is so soft out here. I traveled all the way from Connecticut just to visit Jacksonville Beach again wonderful place. Public restrooms in showers are available. They do charge to walk on the pier though I'm not sure how much because I didn't go.
Good price, nice trail. Unfortunately the staff is not very friendly
What a beautiful day to go to the beach!!! 88 degrees on November 10th absolutely gorgeous. Tons of jelly fish everywhere during my visit here. You could see them clearly from the pier. The crew on the pier were extremely nice and friendly. Felt very welcoming. Thank you guys for a great visit!°
This place is amazing wether your a tourist looking to Enjoy your vacation or a local who wants an easy day at the beach they will get you set up and comfortable out on the water.
The trails and scenery here are gorgeous! The bike rentals are excellent as well and never have any issues while riding. The path is so long and there’s so much to explore when on this trail. 😊
I have visited early, and visited late in the day. There is always super friendly staff to welcome visitors and it’s always a wonderful break from a stressful day. And, sometimes we forget that the pier is a great place as the sun goes down and the moon rises. Photography opportunities abound as well the chance to very likely catch fish. If you’re considering a visit to the Jackaonville Beach Pier, I’d strongly suggest doing it !
Great service spoke with multiple members of staff and they were all helpful. Price to rent the bikes was a lot cheaper then expected 100% worth it.
Dan is the man! He was our tour guide and made the tour so enjoyable for everyone - his positive energy was infectious!! It was a great way to see more of Central Park as a tourist without getting lost or not knowing what there is to see. I would definitely recommend😊 The only downside is that obviously the park can be quite busy so you need to keep up with the group so you don't get lost, but the bright green helmets helped a lot.

Highly recommend them, Letcia was great in arranging a last minute delivery of bikes to Acadia NP. The bikes were high quality, battery life was great. Such a wonderful experience!!
Dan was awesome! High energy, friendly, knowledgeable, funny, and really tried to personalize the ride. He played music on a portable speaker that matched to the riders and took lots of cool pictures for riders. We had a beautiful day and a small group of eleven. Fortunately everyone in our group was fit so we didn’t have to plod along. And the bikes were nice and worked really well ~ no mechanical issues at all. I would highly recommend this experience - it was a great way to see the whole park, absorb some history and get some exercise!
Our tour guide, John, was fantastic and very knowledgeable about New York City history (he doubles as a central park information booth attendant.)
We did the 2 hour tour in central park, which was the perfect amount of time to see and hear about many of the highlights. We we made about 8 stops and had time to walk around to see the attraction that John just gave us a history lesson about.
If you've never been to NYC, but have heard of a New York minute, you'll experience it here if they are busy, as they were on this Sunday in mid October. Everyone that worked there was very friendly and helpful, but things move fast in NYC and spaces are small, so be ready. Once you ride two city blocks from the shop though, you're in central park, and it's much more relaxing.
Thanks for the tour John!
What a beautiful place to take a walk. Heads up though, it costs $2 to walk or $5 to fish per person. They do offer snacks, drinks, bait, covered picnic tables, and bathrooms for those who have paid to enter.

I watched numerous fishermen catch flounder and bluefish while I was out there.

Beautiful view and wonderful structure.
We rented an e-bike and it was an awesome addition to our trip! They are super responsive and easy to work with! 100% recommend!
Excellent tour with Dan on October 2, 2023. Dan was funny, personable and above all safe. He lead us through Central Park, pointed out the sights and told some great stories. Dan made a point to engage with all the riders, taking pictures of us and playing songs popular from our country of origin!
I would recommend this bike tour, Central Park is huge!
I took my grandson on the pier for the first time! It cost $1.00 for me, but he was free. There were lots of people walking, and lots of people fishing. My grandson got to see a fish being caught. The view was amazing. When the sun disappeared it got chilly.
Overall it was a good experience. I’d like to go back.
Great owners and product! It was so easy to secure a kayak for our beach trip. Amanda made it easy to get a kayak ASAP. They dropped it off, gave us some pointers, and we had a blast!! Thank you!
I have done Central Park before but wanted to do something a little different this time- and an Unlimited Biking bike tour was the perfect way to do that! Try to get on Dan’s tour…. Dan was amazing!!! I was so impressed not only with his great knowledge of Central Park, but of his preparedness of the group. He was able to speak the different languages of the countries represented in our group and had songs from each country/state playing for the ride. I LOVED how when we would arrive at a spot that was seen in films or television he would rattle the titles off. Very impressive! And as a solo, female traveler I really appreciated his “pics or it didn’t happen” attitude. He not only took pictures of each group in front of photo spots but also fun shots and action spots on the bike. Very impressed!

Check in was a little chaotic but hey I got what I needed and on time so it all worked out.

Thanks Dan!
If you walk the pier, you sample a bit of Jacksonville's former and current history. For a slight admission fee, you can walk out past (or join) fishermen, picnic tables, hanging chairs, the occasional pelican or sea gull. There are great views of the coastline and the waters. A concession stand at the entrance sells snacks and drinks or bring your own and make a picnic of it.

I was lucky enough to do the mural bike tour mid-week from 12-3. Noah and Gus were my guides. They acclimated me to the rental bike to ensure I was comfortable and confident, and they went over bike safety basics. They were professional and overall just good guys, super nice and just easy to engage conversation. I had a blast. I have been on one Peak Adventure trip (half day rafting trip). I love the price. I love that I don't have to figure all the trip details out and can hop on a trip. And the people are super informative and just cool. I plan on going on the Point Reyes backpacking trip. Highly highly recommend Peak Adventures.
We had the best tour led by the wonderful Dan. He even played music that we requested as we cycled round. Lots of jokes and interesting info. Great way to see Central Park. Thanks Dan!!! Booking process easy and the staff at the shop were all super helpful and well organised!!
Excellent customer service, super professional, wonderful products and helpful staff. This is a fantastic bike shop! They help me to find a helmet for my toddler, fixed up my husband’s bike quickly, and pointed me to items at best suited my needs
Awesome tour - best way to see a new city. Monte was casual and insightful. Gave us a great vibe for Seattle. Highly recommend.
I love Jax Beach. It is probably one of the cleanest, nicest city beaches I've ever been to. I've spent alot of time over the last year at Jax Beach and surrounding neighborhood. Never a disappointment, always people jogging biking and enjoying themselves. It's beautiful and lively, and plenty to do and see, but not over done or over built. Beautiful people, soft sand and warm clear water....best time to go???? Absolutely sunrise... Funnest time to go???? Definitely midday to evening weekends... Always gonna be one of my hot spots. Go get wet!
Offered a great variety of beach gear. Items were delivered as promised and in brand new condition. We will definitely use Fighting Conch Kayak Rentals in the future. Great service and pricing!
This tour was long on riding, but the tour part was brief, shallow, and perfunctory. Our guide, Monte, talked quite a bit about the boom in construction in the city (self-evident), sports (not terribly relevant), and the price of houseboats. The lack of tour guiding was especially apparent to me (an out-of-towner) in the Fremont area, where I had spent a few hours the day before. We blew by two stop-worthy sights that were not acknowledged at all, and skipped other very interesting sights (the Guidepost to the Center of the Universe, Lenin Statue, and the Fremont Troll) that were very close by. Even if he didn't have time to take us there, maybe mention them? We stopped for a few minutes in front of an interesting place: a building from the early 1900s built as a trolley barn which became the country's first fair trade chocolate business, (Theo's) opening in 2005. The place offers daily factory tours for those who are interested. How much of that was pointed out while we stood in front of the building? Nothing. Imagine my surprise when we got back from the tour 30 minutes early. What was the rush? Where exactly did the tour guide need to be that he blew through the tour at such a pace and left out God knows how much interesting information? Expect to ride through lots of places in Seattle, but not to learn a great deal.
I enjoyed a 2-hour group biking tour with Unlimited Biking in Central Park. Our tour guide Dan was enthusiastic and fun to hang out with. It was a big group that day and Dan managed to keep all of us engaged and taken care of throughout the tour. He was also really helpful to give us recommendations for places to eat and things to do at the end of the tour. I’d recommend this tour with Dan to all my friends and family!!
Hands down, this bike tour is one of the BEST things to do in NYC, especially if you have never visited Central Park before. Dan was our guide and he was AMAZING!! He had fantastic energy, a great sense of humour, was personable and was able to take amazing pictures of our family along the ride. We got to see some of the famous landmarks in and around Central Park and he shared really interesting facts about them. This tour is absolutely on the top of our list of favourite things that we did in NYC this summer!
Couldn’t ask for more! Smooth and seamless rental experience at a very fair price. We had lots of fun too! Keep it up guys 😁

I rented a brand new e-bike from here. They said I was the first person to ride it. I got a few miles into the ride and the e-bike function stopped working. I called the shop and we tried troubleshooting to no avail. They asked me what carriage road sign post I was nearest to, and they brought me a replacement e-bike right away and delivered it to me on the trail! Very impressed with the level of customer service.

This is the best kept secret in Sacramento for bike repairs. So easy to bike to being right off the American River Parkway bike trail. The staff is awesome. They are knowledgeable and may not even charge for quick minor repairs. Their prices are very reasonable and they have quick turnaround times.
Owner was wonderful - super patient helping us try out different bikes until we were all found ones that worked, made sure we had helmets, and even cleaned up my dad’s knee after he scraped it. Highly recommend!

Montee is a fantastic tour guide. The planned route was perfect, amazing views. I learned a lot from the experience and will recommend it to anybody visiting Seattle.
Excellent Customer Service. Kevin goes out of his way to make sure you enjoy your kayaking experience in the area. Very knowledgeable about tides, water conditions etc.
What an excellent service and the crew setting up/ braking down was so kind and helpful. For someone flying in from out of state I would heighly recommend.
I really enjoyed my time here at the Jacksonville Beach and Pier! It was a beautiful day for walking, relaxing, and site seeing. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, and areas for bike riding.

Greatly appreciate all the hard working life guards and volunteers 🛟 Many thanks for free parking during the weekday, I hope to visit the beach and pier again soon!
This is an awesome opportunity to ride over the Golden Gate bridge! Price for a regular bike is 10 bucks an hour and you will need at leasr 3 hours for a leisue stroll over the bridge and back. The guys at the shop are really nice and helpful. You have 2 options, cross the bridge and keep going to Sausalito to get a ferry back or just come back the same way. Even if you plan to come back over the bridge, I reccomend to go down on the northern side for awesome views of San Francisco skyline. I had a ball and reccomend it for everyonel!!! Caution, it is really windy on the bridge. Only a couple of stiff climbs on the way.
Our tour guide Monte was amazing! Saw a variety of parts of Seattle I never knew existed. He was patient and answered all our questions! Brilliant!
Darrell was a great host. Knowledgeable and friendly - he did a good job of keeping the group together while letting us ride at a comfortable pace. He shared tidbits of history along the way and we got lucky with a short pit stop to the Ballard farmers market. A fantastic way to see the city and get some local flair.
Finally found this service after a google search and two other companies never calling back. Easy to book online, service was great and no issues at all!
Quality company offering a quality product. It's great to see a rental company offering a good kayak brand for rent that is designed for comfort and function. Not having the hassle of hauling extra kayaks around is an added bonus. Customer service was great, the owners are very helpful, and are genuine in their desire for you to enjoy your time on the water.

Look no further when trying a new outdoor adventure than with Peak Adventures! You are well taken care of by all of the trip staff/guides. It is a great way to get some sunshine or just an ego boost from being outdoors. Amazing way to meet some great well diverse people around Sac State. Been on hiking, whitewater rafting, Arches National Park a week long camping/road trip, and Yosemite National Park camping trip. All trips were incredible life changing experiences :))
Fighting Conch Kayak Rentals was hands down the best part of our vacation! They made the rental process so smooth and easy. Not only were our chairs nice and clean but the kayaks were phenomenal! We can't wait to go back next year. Thank you so much!!
Excellent experience/service with a reasonable price - highly recommend!! I particularly loved the little table that came with the chairs - very helpful and unique! The couple that picked up the chairs were wonderful people.
This is our second trip using San Flea Beach Service for 8 chairs & 4 umbrellas. They have great quality equipment and their beach towels are a special material which is wonderful at getting sand off, especially for the little kiddos! Timely drop-off and impeccable service. Definitely worth it for your next beach trip!
I had an excellent experience at Wheelworks Bike Rentals. Dan, the manager, was especially helpful in setting me up for an extended rental for a road bike, in addition to a one-day rental of a mountain bike. He was more than willing to adapt the road bike to suit my needs (I rode ~daily, anywhere from 25-60 miles), including installing my own pedals so that I could clip in comfortably and providing a tire repair kit and cyclometer. He also worked with me on pricing since the rental was relatively long-term and came up with a quite reasonable arrangement. On top of all that, he and other staff were extremely welcoming and enthusiastic. Oh, and the bikes -- they were very high-quality, in top shape, and fit me well -- I had no issues with either of them. Highly recommend them!!
I had a wonderful day cycling around SF, over the bridge and up to Sausalito. The electric bike was pretty good and made the long journey a breeze. Blazing Saddles made it all easy and they were accommodating when I decided to stay out longer, giving me a code to drop off my bike in their garage after hours.
Awesome , easy day renting and riding bikes. Bikes are in excellent condition, really convenient location right on the trail and the prices are reasonable. Friendly staff, Thank you!

Without a bad conscience, I can recommend trips with Peak Adventures to anyone interested in outdoor trips!

I'm an international student from Germany who doesn't have a car. Therefore, I was looking for cheap and good opportunities to see places in California, go for hikes and meet new people.

Peak Adventures accelerated my expectations by far. I love how literally every staff member is super lovely and fun. They take "leave no trace behind" seriously and educate participants to a certain level. Also, the group size is always lovely (max. 20 participants). They encourage everybody to get to know the group.

So far, I have gone on a day hike to lake Tahoe, Point Reyes and Apple Hill; Also, I've been on a weekend camping trip to lake Tahoe and Yosemite National Park (see some pictures of that below). All the camping gear, as well as food, is provided. The price might seem high for some people, but trust me, it would be much more if you'd rent a car and the gear (I checked with my friends).

You'll definitely find me on more trips!
Thanks, Peak Adventures!! <3

Peak Adventures is a hidden gem on the Sac State campus. The staff are all extremely knowledgeable and caring, and will go out of their way to ensure that you have a great experience. I have gone on countless trips with them, and they have all been experiences of a lifetime. In addition to the trips, their bike shop and gear shop are top notch and always have what you need.
I can't recommend them enough, and can't wait for my next adventure with them!
Our tour leader, Monte, was an excellent guide and led us on a fantastic route of Seattle, with well timed stop breaks and plenty of knowledge of the city. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone starting out their trip as it gives a great introduction to the city.
Monte was a fantastic tour guide! We learned so much about the city on the ride. The skill level is definitely intermediate, do not assume this is an easy peasy ride if you haven't exercised or ridden lately. There were frequent short breaks but you definitely work up a sweat. Thank you Seattle Bicycle Tours!!
I cannot say enough about our experience with Blazing Saddles. Every single person in that building was fun, professional and made us feel very welcome. Mike took care of us and was very knowledgeable. I appreciated his feedback and suggestions. They have a huge selection of bikes and helmets and all look very well maintained. It has a homey feel to it. They provided maps, and ferry tickets to return back. Crazy how much they went above and beyond. Will definitely be visiting again the next time I am in San Francisco.

Recommended. We were able to pick out and test drive the bikes ourselves and could drive up to the carriage roads of the park within 10 minutes. Reasonably priced, friendly staff, flexible. Did a 10 mile "Around Mtn". Somewhat challenging hilly terrain for our 10yo, but overall great experience.
Rented a bike for a day to bike the Bridge - if you reserve online - you get discount! 20% !! Nice bike, you can have helmet if you want. Definitely recommend to ride a bike if you are in SFO beautiful experience 👌 my second time.
You can return your bike to the different locations for extra pay.
Staff is friendly and helpful.
This truly is the best way to see the Golden Bridge. They have a huge range of bikes and prepare you well. The bikes are equipped with pouches to keep phones and wallets. They provide helmets. You can spend some time test riding the bike too. Our tour guide Mark was exceptional. He is truly passionate about California and its history and stopped at several places to share stories. We went through the city and across the Golden Bridge. We then spent time in Sausalito and took the ferry back. You can pay extra $15 and not carry the bike back from Sausalito.
One word of caution - they're are several uphill areas so e bike is recommended. Also familiarize yourself with the gears as you will need to change them often.
Overall, I loved the tour and will 100% récommend to all
Excellent bikes. Though be aware 1 hour should be more than enough time. They will not refund an additional hour. Pretty sure this is part of their sales pitch.
Such a good experience renting from them. Can’t wait to come back and see them again!
the owner is soo nice and helpful, i cannot recommend them enough!! they are my go to for beach rentals now :)
Wonderful experience 10/10 would recommend

Island Bike Rental is your Acadia National Park go to for the best experience. The owner has years of experience matching riders with the best equipment. You are minutes to the carriage road system that takes you into astonishing views of the park and beyond - to a virtual archipelago. Book ahead and have fun.
This is the place to rent snowshoes! You get four days for the same price that other places charge for one day. They also rent out MSR Denali Evo which are some of the lightest snowshoes on the market. Keep in mind, they don't have heel lifts, so they're not intended for ascending.

The shop is located on Sac State's campus, but parking was easy with the multiple 30 minute spots within short walking distance.

The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Overall, great experience!

By the way, the snowshoes worked great! I couldn't have summited Roundtop without them!

We had a great time biking the carriage roads in Acadia with a Island bike rental. Reserved class 1 E-bikes on a whim the night before. This was easily done online with a few clicks. Picked up the bicycles at Hulls Cove visitor center the next morning, everything was easy and efficient. The bikes were in excellent shape and comfortable. With a E bikes we were able to cover almost all carriage roads in 4h. It would have been much harder with pedal bikes and it was specially nice not to have to pick up the bicycles in Bar Jarbor or another location.
Very bad experience. We took 3 bikes and one of them broke at the opposite side of Central Park, the rear wheel could not turn so it was impossible to walk next to the bike, we had to carry it to move. We called the urgence number on the ticket 5 times but no answer. I decided to get back to the rental to ask for help. The guy working went to see my friend with the broken bike but came back 5min later saying that it was too late and that he finished working 2 minutes ago. No one was working there after, they didn’t offer us any solution and refused to give my ID back. They asked us to pay for a taxi to bring THEIR defective bike back and would not give me my ID otherwise (this is blackmail) whereas they should have gone get the bike AND my friend back!
I never got my ID back, DO NOT go there, they just want to steal tourists money and won’t help at all of you have an issue. Otherwise if you want to ruin one of your days/nights in NY, that’s the place.

This is a super fun way to see Seattle. We did the Smith Cove Bike Tour, which was a perfect, low and slow pace for us. Our tour guide Monte, was incredibly friendly and accommodating to our slow pace. He knows a lot about Seattle, and shared a lot of interesting information about it. Enjoyed the tour. Great way to see Seattle!

Island Bike was conveniently located with good equipment and reasonable prices. The staff (Leticia) was extremely friendly and helpful with carriage trail route suggestions and maps. There is plenty of free parking right around the corner. The shop is about a mile from the carriage trails, mostly uphill, but Leticia drove us up in a matter of minutes. Everything was so much more relaxed than renting bikes at the other end of the park with the hustle and crowds in Bar Harbor (Plus the trails are better on this side of the park). We had such an excellent day we changed plans and came back the next day as well to explore the rest of the carriage trails. Highly recommended - Thank you!
It is an awesome place.
I ride around for 20 miles.
I like the down hills but we have to ride them back. So don't be too exited.
Was riding with a friend and he broke a spoke on his rear wheel. They were very friendly, took his bike immediately, and got him back on the road right away!. Very friendly staff.
This Bicycle Rentals are the best, the location is perfect because they are located on the perfect point to starting your journey bike, so they have a safe parking lot, bathrooms, so have a lots bikes of different styles in excellent condition, good brand, including the helmet, you can go with your entire family and they have the whole stuff you need, even to your kids, just go there and I’m sure you’ll be satisfied with the experience, they provide an excellent customer service, the employees are the most nice and friendly ever. So you’ll can buy some protein bar, energy gels, flavors of gelatos, drinks and T-shirt with the logo brand, if you have kids by outside the rental are a nice park to them.... So highly recommended to this place... 👍🏼
Had a great 20 plus mile ride with my friend Billie. Easy riding with some beautiful scenery. All of the trails we were on are easily marked. Stopped for lunch in downtown Winter Garden next to the big Christmas tree. Will definitely be going back.
We had less time than when we had first planned this part of our trip, so we decided to use the ebikes to speed our trip. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Once we figured out the controls (the device would time out and need to be reset when we stopped to see an area) we found ourselves effortlessly biking throughout the park. Going up hills, we would speedily and effortlessly pass other bikers who were huffing and puffing their way up the hill. We saw everything we had wanted to in our shortened time, and had a blast doing it!
WARNING this is a rip off business don't waste your time and money on them! Me and my family were travelling in New York and decided to go to Central Park. We rented two bikes for my kids from them and that was a huge mistake! My kids rode the bikes for literally two minutes but it was too uncomfortable for them due to poor quality of the bikes so we decided to return them. We went to return the bikes and told them the quality of the bike seat is really bad and that my kids feel uncomfortable on them. We couldn't even get a refund! When we told them we wanted a refund they said they would talk to us later but never did. We went up to the manager and asked him. They offered to extend our rides 1 more hour but obviously my kids aren't going to ride those horrible bikes. So we asked for a partial refund and all they said is that we signed the liability saying they can't give us a refund. Overall, they didn't apologize or even give us proper service we wasted so much time! Are they joking around we had the bike for 2 minutes exactly at least give us a partial refund! Very poor service super disappointed what a rip-off and wastage of time and money! This ruined our morning plans! NEVER WASTE MONEY RENTING THESE BIKES!
I recommend a bike rent
Good quality bikes and fair prices
The USS Maine National Monument is an outdoor monument located at the Merchants' Gate entrance to Central Park, at Columbus Circle, in Manhattan, New York City - USA
a fun time well spent with the family and relatives from NY .
fantastic and friendly service .
Spectacular location.
Interesting but somehow its old style clashes with new, modern buildings around.
Beautiful place with a nice view of the river. And with a diversity of animals in their natural habitat such as beavers, ducks, hawks, rabbits, geese, snakes, deer and different birds. Beautiful trails for walking or biking. The place is fantastic and very relaxing.
It’s an imposing monument that welcomes visitors to Central Park. It commemorates the destruction of the naval ship of the same name, which killed many American sailors and triggered the Spanish-American War of 1898. As a Filipino, the war is of interest to me because the Spanish defeat led to Spain ceding the Philippines to the US.
