I got my keys a little over a week ago, the apartment was well cleaned and smelled nice when I moved in. Everything has been great so far, and Teresa was really kind, helpful, and professional throughout the whole process~
The amenities are flawless and the staff communicate quickly and with sincere interest in my needs. The technology is up to date with access apps to make everything easy unlock and manage guests and deliveries.

A lovely place to live. I would definitely live here again. The staff is very good, very on-site, and they are very respectful. Frank is the shit! The only negative aspect of living here was the amount of sirens you experience, due to the hospital being right down the street. If you grew up like me, in front of a railroad track, then this will not bother you. A++ on connection and community building.
I had an extremely disappointing experience at Centennial Apartments. I recently transferred to a new apartment a couple weeks back, and the issues began immediately. The stove burner in my unit malfunctioned multiple times, despite being "fixed" after 2 initial maintenance requests. This led to a fire in my kitchen—an extremely dangerous situation that could have escalated into a major incident, especially with the refrigerator right next to the stove. Despite this alarming event, the management showed zero empathy. Alejandra, the leasing manager, was rude, dismissive, and unwilling to make any exceptions on the outrageous fees they charge for lease breaks or transfers—even though I was explicitly told during my move-in that I could transfer or end my lease if dissatisfied. Adding insult to injury, their so-called "satisfaction policy" conveniently excludes transfer residents, forcing me to pay double rent to leave a unit that is unsafe and poorly maintained. This level of negligence and lack of accountability is unacceptable. Stay away from Centennial Apartments unless you want to risk your safety and deal with unprofessional, unsympathetic management.
THINK 10 TIMES BEFORE MOVING TO CENTENNIAL.
I’ve been here for just over 8 months and I love the building. The maintenance team is quick and reliable. The leasing team is very friendly and responds as soon as they can. Frank is doing a great job running the building. If there’s something going wrong behind the scenes, they are making sure the residents are unaffected. Would live here again!
I’ve lived here for a couple of months now and I really love this community. The place is well maintained, killer views, impressive amenities, but more importantly super friendly staff! It’s also in a prime location within walking distance to many awesome places downtown.

Living here has been really tough, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who values peace and quiet. The construction noise is constant — seriously, 365 days a year, especially during weekdays and working hours. It’s impossible to have any peace, whether you’re trying to work from home or simply relax. The noise starts early in the morning and goes on throughout the day, making it nearly impossible to focus or relax.

I’ve reached out to management a few times, and all I get are vague promises that it’s ‘temporary.’ But months later, nothing has changed. It honestly feels like I’m living on a construction site rather than in an apartment I’m paying good money for.

If you’re thinking of moving in and you need a quiet place to work or just a peaceful home, do yourself a favor and look somewhere else.

Pros: great location, quick response for maintenance requests inside the apartment. The leasing team is very helpful and nice.

Cons: Since i moved here 2 months ago, the elevators have not been functioning properly, the wait times are too long, sometimes only one elevator works and after waiting for several minutes it will already be too full. The swimming pool and hot tub dont seem to be cleaned regularly. The hot tub has hair floating in it for weeks. The swimming pool has a black residue at the bottom that has been there for 2 months, the outdoor TV is also not set up yet. They seem to have raised
rent prices since starting the new amenities but they are not well maintained.

Update: posted this review 2 months ago, the elevators still arent fixed.
We had an amazingly smooth move in to Centennial Tower. From having help along the way with our move in to do list leading up to move in day, then a simple and easy move in! Everyone was helpful and I couldn’t have asked for a better move.

The building is nice and in a great part of Belltown. Close to some great food and coffee.
The staff at Centennial have been nothing but kind to me from day 1. In fact, when I first moved in, I was going through many life changes and Lauren and Emilee were very patient with me as I secured my first apartment on my own! I signed a lease on a very spacious studio in the court that I am utmost pleased with.

Chris and Erik in maintenance are very quick and accommodating with work orders, and very knowledgeable on what needs to be fixed.

Alexis, Celeste, and Teresa are very thorough with emails to questions that I have had and they write them very well! They’re also very friendly and knowledgeable in person.

The location of the property is in a quiet and clean part of Belltown with some very nice coffee shops, restaurants, and nightlife nearby!! I have a large dog that I walk to the many parks that are very close by (Seattle Center, Sculpture Park, Myrtle Edwards waterfront, etc) that have acres of grass. Surprisingly too, there is almost always ample parking on Vine Street on the north side of the building for guests to park.

The rooftop on the court building has spectacular views of the skyline while you grill your burgers. Also, the indoor pool and hot tub on the second floor is nice to have. I find it very rare for apartments in Seattle proper to have these two amenities (especially indoors, like something you see in a multi-million dollar home).

I very much highly recommend living here!

I want to say thank you to Alex. He is warm-hearted and genuine, bringing so much brightness to this old building. (Another dude in the maintenance team who is also awesome, I just forgot his name) The manager, Sam, cares about every resident here. He values our feedback and always tries his best to be supportive. I give five stars to the service and location. However, due to the slightly outdated facilities in the room and not warm enough in the winter, I will give four stars overall.
The most horrible apartment experience of my life.

The management (I talked to the assistant manager Alexis) is extremely rude and unprofessional. Even small requests are being treated with a very hostile response with no concerns at all for the resident staying there.

They have given a notice to enter apartment two days in a row throughout the day on a working weekday and I called them requesting if they could give me a smaller time frame since I would need to be home for my guest staying with me, but was just dismissed EXTREMELY rudely by the management instead of showing ANY understanding or concern whatsoever! She literally used the words "It is a YOU problem that you want to be home so NONE of OUR concern"

Also, there is Marijuana and other horrible smells in the lobbies. The trash chute is always clogged in an extremely unhygienic way with no steps taken to resolve it. They are even charging residents additional electricity charges for the facilities provided by them and leaving the lights at these common facilities switched on overnight!

I have never seen management treat their residents so poorly. Will not recommend this apartment to anyone EVER.
Firstly there’s been SHOOTINGS! Ratings are inflated because they ask all new tenants to give a 5 star review as soon as you move in. There was a shooting where the bullets hit the lobby door and it was from a person that was sleeping in the building. There are homeless people that sneak into the building. There are constant shootings in the area. The walls are super thin and you can hear everything constantly. Never any quiet. The entertainment and sky lounge rooms cost a fortune to book and are always booked by others anyway. The utilities costs are absolutely absurd and there’s shared amenities costs which are crazy. At the garage there are always people right outside the gate doing crack. The elevators break down and are always under maintenance. I’ve been stuck in one and couldn’t get to work on time until fire department came. They make it appear like a high class apartment but it’s overpriced and not worth it. Biggest regret I’ve ever made was signing a lease here.

It's hands down the best place to live in Seattle's downtown area; we lived here for seven years!

We have seen many changes through the years, and I can say that Met Tower keeps improving every year. The amenities are beautiful, the gym is fully equipped, the sauna is relaxing, and hosting parties in the lounge is fun.

I can keep talking about how beautiful the Tower is, but I also want to talk about the attention from the leasing office. The team at Met Tower is top-notch. They are always available to help, and you can feel they care for you.

This building is one of the reasons we stayed in Seattle for so long.

As a former resident of the Windsor communities I'd like to shout out Rosette who has been amazing at the concierge desk! she has always been super helpful and keen to provide a seamless experience, especially when handling resident issues/requests. She always has a smile on and even my guests have mentioned when they visit about how Rosette takes care of them. Keep up the great work!
Panorama is great! The location makes for an easy commute around all of Seattle and the people make it even better! Erik at the front desk made signing my lease super easy and is always greeting me with a smile asks me how I’m doing. The apartments get amazing views and superb natural light! I’m so grateful to have found Panorama, First Hill’s finest gem!

CAUTION ! CAUTION ! CAUTION !

Do not be seduced by the panoramic views.

If you have been a victim of stalking or have a current stalker you will never feel safe here. You are NOT safe here.

and then there are the lies that start first on the website: This is not luxury living. You will be without running water at least once a month with barely 24 hours notice. The website boasts FUTURE FORWARD. GREEN FOCUSED and this is simply false advertising. Ask about the "high tech features intended to maximize energy efficiency". Your thermostat in this building is nothing more than how far open you might leave the single pane sliding door or windows. On the first day of Winter when the temperature drops below 30 degrees you will lose heat. And that pool!!!! Don't ever make a plan for using it. It'll be closed when you do

Yes, the leasing agent is charming but his subsidized rent depends on it. In just a few weeks after signing your lease he'll lean in close and tell ya how "the owner is squeezing every cent" from tenants. The office gang are complicit in the execution of the corrupt owners direction.

If you sign a lease here get ready to have the contact for the State AG's office, your council member and seattle renter's union. You'll want to report this property to everyone. This building will bring you closer than you ever wanted to be to the gross profiteering of Seattle landlords and the underbelly of building management (specifically FPI). With an 850 credit score I was referred to collections after just two weeks from moving out. FPI sent me to collections when, in writing, it clearly states a distinctly different timeline for paying the fees.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Based on the other reviews, it's clear we aren't the only ones scammed. They drained our entire security deposit—and more—then kept sending the same documents over and over without addressing any of our concerns when we emailed them about the charges. We were charged an outrageous amount for "labor" supposedly beyond normal wear and tear, but when we asked them to show us exactly which pictures in the move out inspection proved that, they refused, saying, "We’re not going to go through every single picture for you." Every condition was listed as acceptable in the move-out inspection, yet they still took our money, and we still have no idea why because they won’t make it clear which pictures went above normal wear and tear. The entire process reeks of a money-grab, and dealing with them—especially Tammy—makes it painfully clear that they couldn't care less about their residents. Not even mentioning the fact that when we lived there, there would be constant appliance breaks- our dishwasher would leak, the water would be turned off for a whole day with a warning given only the day before. The entire apartment is just a terrible place to live and management makes it a million times worse. Please read the rest of the reviews for this place saying similar things as me and do not live here!!!

Do not live here under any circumstances.

Take a look at all the 1 star reviews like mine and how many likes they have. The vast majority have 10-15 compared to the 1-2 that many of the 5 star reviews have. Additionally many of the 5 star reviews are people who currently live there and have not had to deal with the horrifying move out process.

We lived here for 14 months and had an absolutely terrible experience with the management.

- Bathrooms do not have a fan and provide very good conditions for mold growth. The single vent in the bathroom does not provide sufficient airflow and mold appeared to be growing in it. When another resident we knew asked about this they were told to keep the door open and clean the mold themselves.

- Entered the building after hours with 2 guests staying with us for an evening and was told it was “residents only”. This was never stated in our lease.

- They implemented an unnecessary trash service which regularly came well after the hours provided (said they would come by 10 pm and would regularly show up at 1 or 2 am, creating a disturbance almost nightly)

- Extremely high utility charges (almost $400 a month for a 1 bed apartment)

- Was charged for a significant labor beyond normal wear and tear despite leaving the unit cleaner than it was on move in. When I requested evidence and an invoice, I was given an inaccurate move out report showing damages from the previous tenant as evidence! When they finally went through the accurate move out report, all conditions were listed as acceptable and i was still charged! The itemized receipt provided did not provide a sufficient breakdown of charges and charged for 23 hours of labor just 2 days after move out.

The amenities are not worth it and utilities like water were regularly shut off for a day once a month.

Please save your money and move elsewhere, the management is rude and unwilling to work out move out issues in a timely manner.

Do not live here under any circumstances and take the time to read all the 1 star reviews found here. You will find that almost all of them share my experience.

The pool is in pathetic condition. There is fungal growth in it and debris all over it. I failed to notice once and swam in it. Got infection all over my hands and face. They said they did a week long maintenance so I thought, okay let’s give it one more try.
Highly disappointing to see that it was in the same exact state as before, if anything, it had gotten worse!
They are doing unwanted and unnecessary renovations all over the building, but fail to maintain the things that make it a luxury apartment.

The pool was one of main reasons I selected the building, first it was not unavailable for 8 months and now they fail to maintain it.
All the white spots in the pic are fungus.

Simply pathetic! Stay away!
I have been living at Stratus for almost a year. I really like the building. All the staff including technicians, front desk, and leasing office folks are really helpful. Today I made a maintenance request to change the LED puck light and replace fridge water filter. Misael Roman arrived on time and handled both tasks in a second and everything is working fine now. I couldn't ask for more. My overall experience has been very good so far and hopefully stays the same!
I found the advertising of this building to be very deceptive. When you go for a tour they will show you a beautiful model unit on the 10th floor. This unit has a stunning view and tons of closet space. It would be a great place to live.

The actual units that are available for rent in the building are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. Where the model unit has closets, these units have awkward, unusable empty corners. Where the model unit has natural light, these units are dark dingy and stare directly in to someone else's living room.

On my first tour they were only able to show me the model unit, thank god I went back to view the actual units before signing a lease here.

Update:
The manager claims that the model unit was the only unit available for me to tour. It was my understanding that management did not provide the correct keys to their leasing agent (who was great btw) to allow us to tour anything other than the model unit even when there were available empty units.
I have had the most amazing experience so far at Griffis Seattle Waterfront. Katrina has been so helpful from the beginning when I first contacted the apartment complex and made sure I was able to get the apartment I wanted! She was always available to answer all my questions and assist with anything I needed! Her and Nora both made sure my move in went very smoothly. I am so thankful for the both of them! All of the amenities are great! Very impressed with this apartment complex and the staff so far ☺️

The staff have been excellent, and the room was freshly remodeled on arrival. I did have two minor issues shortly after moving in; The front door didn’t have a doorstop and one of the drawers in the bathroom was broken. These issues were handled quickly, but are of note since the room was freshly remodeled. It’s also worth noting that the patio is a bit smaller than I’d like, but the view makes up for it.

All things considered I’d highly recommend this tower to someone looking to move downtown. The excellent staff and well maintained building make up for any negative I can think of. Oh, and they like giving out free food which is always a plus!

Had a great apartment viewing and move in experience with Galfato.

He’s a very nice person and makes communication effortless.

The building and apartments are nice, on the expensive side though.

Jordan at the reception is super helpful as well!

Wishing the team all the best and hopefully more reasonable rents for the future tenants.

The apartment and location is good and the concierge staff are very helpful. However, I would be very cautious and ask many questions before signing the lease. There are a lot of hidden fees at move out that are not transparent despite reading the lease in detail and the leasing office staff have not been helpful. Would have been a great experience if not for the leasing office unfortunately. I did not believe the other bad reviews when I first move in but now I echo their reviews and would urge you to read those carefully and take them into consideration.

Update - have been trying to resolve this with Windsor support team member (Jessica) but still unresolved. I have been told repeatedly that despite the move out inspection report marked all conditions as good and did not note any concern for cleanliness, they still would charge us a professional cleaning fee (I am happy to share my inspection report). Nowhere in the lease it states that we must hire a professional cleaning company upon move out - and this arises because upon move out we did not select using the cleaning service of the company/partnered with the company and decided to clean the apartment ourselves.

Update 2 - the Windsor support team member (Jessica) go back and changed the move out inspection record when I ask why cleaning fee is charged when all the conditions are marked good. Quoting Windsor "we are within our rights to revise the inspection to rectify your claims." I have also reached out to the email provided on this response to further obtain resolution.

So far I have loved living here. The neighborhood is wonderful and everything is easily walkable. The amenities are 5 stars. The rooftop is gorgeous with a beautiful view of the space needle which will be great for new years! The community garden is superb and all the residents are very friendly and willing to help! The staff has been very helpful and thoughtful throughout my move in process and pest issues I have had since moving in. I love Susan! I found I had a bit of a pest issue at move in and Susan has been great at keeping me well informed throughout the whole process and has been in my unit every Tuesday to treat for the pest issue until it has been eradicated. Every time I have put in a maintenance request, the issue has been resolved within hours. The staff here really is helpful and communicative to residents and I hope to be here for quite a while! Only giving 4 stars because I had to deal with the pests at move in and this should have been inspected pre move in. But other than that I have had no further issues!

I've had a fantastic experience at Skye Belltown Apartments in Seattle. The manager, Sam, is amazing—always attentive and willing to go the extra mile to ensure residents are happy. The amenities are very well kept, making it easy to enjoy everything the community has to offer. The apartments themselves are incredibly spacious and offer breathtaking views of downtown Seattle and the Space Needle. Additionally, the customer service here is superb. I highly recommend Skye Belltown Apartments to anyone looking for a wonderful place to live in Seattle!

I’m a bit late in leaving this review(like 2 years late) but I recently reflected on the entirety of this situation and I feel like the experience should be shared. I knew I was no longer going to stay at my former apartment in downtown Seattle, so I began touring local apartments. My first tour was with Tower 801. Jennifer provided me a tour that felt standard & didn’t necessarily feel like she was attempting to sell the apartment/community to me but she did a standard, okay tour. Following the tour, I let her know I wanted to complete an application. I was re-directed to how to complete it & what information to submit. I completed all the requested steps quickly and received confirmation it was received. This was the last time I heard from Tower 801.
Although I did not hear from Tower 801 again, not even to decline or approve the application(which in itself feels illegal), I did hear from my former apartment that there were concerning questions asked of them from Tower 801 about my financial abilities that was outside of the normal questions they typically receive. They were so concerned that they reached out to me. I don’t think you understand—whatever was asked was so out-of-line that my apartment’s management team felt the need to alert me. They didn’t state anything odd about their interactions with any other apartments who were reaching out to them…just Tower 801. Luckily, I was already approved for the apartment I REALLY wanted/currently live in so I let it go BUT I think all should be weary of Tower 801 and their discriminatory practices. I am a Woman of color with great credit—99% payments on-time, 785–no missed months of rent EVER, I make 6 figures, hold a professional business role, etc. So why did I NEVER hear back from them? Why were they asking potentially concerning questions about me…enough that my former apartment management team would WARN me? I highly recommend avoiding this place. If they make their minds up about you for whatever reason, they’ll simply steal your money and you’ll never hear back from them again. It’s either discrimination, flat out scamming people or both. To this day, I don’t know but I’m so thankful it didn’t work out(judging by the reviews) & I ended up landing in a happy, safe, WELL-KEPT and FUNCTIONING luxury apartment. Thank you, Tower 801💗

Stratus was my first home after moving to Seattle, and I am proud to call Stratus my home for the past three years. I lived in a 2B2B apartment on the 39th floor with an amazing view. But beyond the well-maintained building, great location, and thoughtful design and floor plans, what made me stay for three years was the exceptional service. From the leasing office to maintenance to concierge, everyone is super nice and friendly. Especially the concierge, they always greeted residents warmly whenever we walked through Stratus's doors. The maintenance team is also super friendly and prompt with repairs.

After living there for three years, I decided to move out for a change of scenery. Now, I already miss Stratus, even though I’m still living in a nearby high-rise building. When you leave and make comparisons, you realize that although many places call themselves luxury high-rise apartments, the quality of service and friendliness at Stratus stand out. The contrast in service quality and friendliness becomes very apparent and makes Stratus even more special.

I already miss Stratus and its exceptional service and friendly community.

I lived at Tower 801 for 14 months. There are pros and cons to any apartment building, so I will give you my impressions of Tower 801 in downtown Seattle.
Pros: Smart floor plans with good use of space. Every apartment has at least one balcony, (one bedrooms have two, two bedrooms have three, etc.). Full sized stacked washer & dryer. Never experienced water leaks in my apartment. Never experienced insects in my apartment. I liked the wood-look vinyl flooring because it looked good, was durable, and easy to keep clean. The kitchen in my apartment had a “breakfast bar” area where you could use counter-height bar stools with room for three people. Kitchen has lots of cabinet and countertop space. My apartment had vertical blinds, and I know some people don’t like these, but I do like them. Bathroom has a generous amount of countertop and storage space. The apartment has heating and air conditioning, but I rarely used them, yet never felt too cold or too hot. There’s a coffee shop downstairs that opens early. Darlene was sweet and always had a welcoming smile. I liked the location because it is walking distance to so many places such as grocery stores, my dentist, my doctor (at Virginia Mason), restaurants, etc.. In my case, I had very few instances when I needed maintenance, but when I did need them, they came right away. I felt the monthly rent for my studio apartment was reasonable. When I moved out, I got almost all of my deposit refunded.
Cons: My apartment was facing the alley (where the trash dumpsters are) and the roof of part of the convention center, so it was noisy and the view was not very nice. My neighbors made a lot of noise and I could hear them, so I guess the insulation was not very soundproof. I didn’t like the valet trash service because it was inconvenient and there were too many rules, plus it cost $25 a month. I don’t really care about amenities, but if it is important to you, be aware that the “gym” looks small and is without many exercise machines, and the community room was almost always unaccessible. When I first moved in, there was only one elevator, and when it broke, we had to use the stairs, but this only happened about five times, and now there are two elevators which seem to be working much better due to extensive repairs. My apartment was one of the remodeled units, but some have not been remodeled, so unless you want a coil burner stove and ugly carpet, ask for a remodeled unit which will have nice kitchen appliances and nice flooring. I did not rent a parking space so I can’t comment on that topic, but when I did see the garage a couple of times, I thought it looked pretty spooky.
Tips & Suggestions: Ask to see an apartment facing Pine Street on a high floor. If you think you want a studio, also consider a one bedroom because they are only a little bit more expensive. When you move in, immediately make a list of anything that is broken, missing or dirty, and make photos too, then send a maintenance request to correct the problems. When you move out, clean everything thoroughly so that you can get your deposit back, and it wouldn’t hurt to have photos of how nice it looked when you moved out.
One last thought: Tower 801 is an historic building that was considered iconic as a modernist style tower when it was completed in 1972, and was one of Seattle’s tallest residential skyscrapers at that time. If you appreciate mid century modern style architecture or furniture, you will fit right in with the authentic cool vibes of this unique round tower.

Great building with an awesome management team. I have been a commercial tenant with them for a little over three months now and so far it has been a great experience! Sam, the property manager has been super helpful and made it so easy and joyful to run my business. Also, they have super friendly stuff at the front desk office and absolutely great maintenance crew! Special thanks to Alex, the maintenance manager, for all his help during the opening time!

Changed my move-in date the night before from Friday to the following Wednesday (5 nights) and only gave me a $350 concession on a $1852/month apartment. I even saw in the elevator they offer $500 for just referring a friend, so I was shocked they couldn’t even match this. On top of this, they made me wait 30min when I did come for my scheduled appointment, the first month is only cashiers check, and I haven’t received any of my compost or trash bins yet. My apartment closets are also broken and the door fell on me once.

One of the worst apartment I have stayed in my lifetime. Seriously, I never ever had this bad experience with any apartment community. To keep it easy, I’ll put my review in bullet points.

1. Untidy Apartment on my first day of lease:- when I moved to a new apartment, I got the apartment in very dirty condition (image attached), not completed the maintenance work. Blinds were not there, after so many requests, got that installed.

2. No maintenance on time:- Many Nails were popping out of carpet and I literally got hurt twice and started bleeding (image attached). Management didn’t respond on my first email. They responded after multiple follow ups. Even after that it took few day to fix the issue. Luckily I don’t have any kids, otherwise kids would have got hurt big time.

3. Water leakages:- Building is always flooding. In the living room, in the kitchen, in the garage (Image attached). One fine morning I got up and came to living room and saw my entire living room is flooded with water. Another day, my car got completely drowned in water due to water leakage right on top of my car. When I requested for changing the spot to management. They gave few options which were too compact to park SUV size car, hence, I had no option to stick to the same spot.

4. Elevators shut down:- 90% of the time elevators won’t work. So if you are carrying your groceries and stay at higher floors, I am sorry for that. You’ll get good leg and shrug workout. Be prepared for that.

5. No access to any amenities:- I stayed there for 1 year of my lease, I never even used their community room as that is locked all the time. They are keep mentioning it closed for maintenance. Other than that gym is fine (that’s the only one good thing about this apartment).

6. Rude management:- I observe the best way to reach management team is via email. Because if you talk to them in person they are so rude in their response, that you’ll not feel like talking to them again. Not a good gesture to a resident.

7. No refund for your garage remote:- there is $125 deposit for garage remote, which they said, I’ll get it back upon submission of the remote when my lease ends. I did my part by returning all the keys and garage remote back to management, but I didn’t receive my refund yet. I am sending follow-up emails almost everyday. But no one is responding to my email. So if you expect that you will get full refund of you eligible deposit you may not get it. On top of that they will charge you extra for utilities any some kind of maintenance or cleanup work, which they never do for the new tenant. As I mentioned, I experience the same when I took lease here.

8. Rent is Too high for the apartment like this:- the building is too old and doesn’t have much amenities. It’s not worth spending that much on this building. I found much better apartments at lesser rent and with fabulous amenities and very polite property management.

I hope this will be helpful for any new tenants who are planning to lease at this community. Please take your decision wisely. I WOULD NEVER SUGGEST THIS APARTMENT TO ANYONE. As you have so many good apartment options out there with luxury layouts and amenities. Thanks!
Great location! Everything you need is within walking distance. Very helpful and polite staff. The views of the city from the 21st floor window are simply stunning.
We absolutely love living at the Griffis. The view is fantastic and the staff are all very nice and helpful. We highly recommend leaving here it's only going to get better when they are finished with the landscape on Seattle's water front
The view from our 25th floor apartment was great. Even though we only lived there briefly it was great. I wish it was located outside of the city because of the city noise and they are right by the fire station so you always hear when they leave their station. But outside of that we loved it. The issues we had got fixed quickly. We had issues with the parking company for a little bit but Emilee was very helpful in helping us get it resolved. The maintenance time was nice and the concierge Scott was such a delight to see when leaving and coming to the apartment.

Had a great experience over 2.5 years. Staff was extremely friendly and responsive. Location is great.
The holidays are not the most popular time of the year to move. Knowing this my expectations were low as far as the overall experience. The Centinnial has totally changed my idea of something daunting into a smooth and hassle free process. I have only been living here for two weeks but feel settled and comfortable in my new downtown surroundings (not to mention they gave me a birthday card for my special day) little signature touches are part of what makes this community one I would recommend. Christmas tree is up and ready for the holiday, thank you staff at the Centinnial!!

Do not under any circumstances live here. I was a resident for 1 year and had some of the worst renting experience.

1. Bedroom window was broken (see pic) when moving in and the entire apartment was dusty.

2. Deteriorating building: elevators and water go out of service every month. Windows are also single pane and thin leading to mold growth. Walls are also thin so there is no soundproofing from the parties that happen every weekend.

3. Unusable amenities: they closed a package room with promises of building a new one which didn't happen for 9 months. Packages overflow from the lockers (see pic) and frequently go missing/get stolen since there is no front desk security. They also closed the pool from August to October to resurface so it was unavailable for half the summer.

4. Poor management: the manager is unresponsive and quite frankly, incompetent. He forgot to ask us for a forwarding address which I had to provide to someone else. After moving out we never received an invoice in the mail like promised and instead started getting calls from COLLECTIONS. I had to go in person to get my invoice despite them having my email and phone already.

Do not trust these 1 sentence "5 star reviews" and listen to the countless others who have actually lived here for your own sake.
Griffis Seattle Waterfront is an amazing place to live. The views and location can’t be beat. 5 minutes walking in either direction gets me to a Link station and there are buses just steps out the door to take me just about anywhere. But I mainly walk since most of what I need and want is right here. The market, restaurants, bars, shows, live music…it’s all nearby.

When I first moved in, I went up to the roof all the time. The amenities and view were top notch. I was shocked to hear they were going to renovate everything since it seemed really nice already but now that the renovations are almost complete, I’m excited to see how much more fantastic living here is going to be.

I also have to say how wonderful the Griffis Team is. The leasing staff, maintenance staff, security…they are all super nice and helpful. It really makes a difference and complements the fabulous property.
If you're looking for a Class-A building in the heart of Seattle, look no further than Griffis Waterfront! This building is beautifully designed and professionally managed. The units are extremely spacious with tall ceilings and the industrial vibe give it a very unique feeling. Our unit has stunning waterfront views and we sometimes never want to leave the apartment!

The best part of the building are the staff. Everyone from the front desk, maintenance, to management truly care about the building and the residents and are always quick to assist. Shout out to Malcolm and Nora, you guys rock!

I moved in back in May and my experience has been great! The front desk staff is super friendly. Kristie, Danni, Justin, and the whole leasing staff are always helpful whenever you need anything. I especially enjoy the community events that they organize for the building! The skyline view is beautiful and the building is in a great part of town. Tons of great food and fun options nearby! For sure recommend to anyone new in town!

I absolutely love living at Stratus, we have lived here for the last 2 years and couldn’t be happier with our decision. The amenities, staff, and neighbors are as good as it gets. You get the luxury apartment perks, with the quant atmosphere. 100% would recommend living at Stratus.

Don’t wait to learn this until *after* you move out.

My initial review was kind, but things took a sharp turn fast. Here’s the rub:

6 months prior to moving out, we received a certified letter from Avenue5 stating that our renewal cost would rise. A minor amount, but it got to me. About 3 months prior to our lease’s end, I spoke to the *assistant* manager (didn’t know he wasn’t the manager), and he said they aren’t willing to negotiate. I follow the market and knew the cost would be less than what we were paying, even. He argued, saying things were on the upswing and we were basically getting a deal. Skeptical, I still dropped it and started looking at other options.

About 2 months before our lease was up, we found a building that suits our family much better. Met Tower still wouldn’t budge on simply not *increasing* our rent when an identical unit on a higher floor was going for $800 less than what our renewal would cost monthly. So, we signed a lease with our current place and sent the official letter stating that we would not be renewing with Met Tower.
Mind you, Met Tower is and was (2023-2024) remodeling the 8th floor amenities and terrace. No tenant had access to any of the spaces we all were paying for. I can’t tell you how many people complained about the smells and the sounds, “health issues” spawning from mold in apartments and the construction that weren’t being addressed by Met Tower. But that’s all hearsay from other tenants, although it paints a picture of how little they care about tenants in any way, shape, or form.
Then, there's the absolute disorganized mess that is management….
We moved a month early. I shouldn’t have even stated what day we’d be moved out on (I was trying to be courteous) to Met Tower, because that seemed to throw them for a loop. They pestered us about turning in our keys... weeks earlier than our lease-end date. We paid the (initial) “final bill” with the prorated half-month of our last month. Well, that wasn’t the last….
One of our kids' top bunk tent left some black transfer marks on the ceiling. We couldn't see these marks until the movers were gone, and the furniture we'd use to climb up and Magic Eraser them on were too. Then, we just forgot about it with the moving. Because of this and “fingerprints on the walls” (I can’t make this stuff up), Met Tower is trying to charge us $2,300 ($1,800 + keeping our security deposit) to repaint the unit. Mind you, we lived in Met Tower for 4 years total, in 3 different units: 2 years in the last unit, and shifted units twice because it was less expensive to shift (with “6 to 8 weeks free” for new tenants, but jack-diggity for existing tenants) than to renew a lease that wasn’t being increased, even (during the pandemic). We take care of every space we’ve ever lived in as if we own the space and want the highest resale value for it. On both units in Met Tower prior, we received our security deposits back in full.
What’s the difference now? Some transfer we forgot to tackle in the whirlwind of finding a new home and moving with a family? Some “fingerprints,” maybe in the dust from holes we spackled and thoughtfully sanded smooth on eggshell paint?
There’s so much more, but I think this says more than enough.

If you want to get jerked around and “nickeled and dimed” by an apartment building, rent from Avenue5/Met Tower. Congratulations, Met Tower and Avenue5, we absolutely won’t be back now, and I hope anyone who values their time, health, money, and energy steers clear of your malarkey.
(Leaving the photos up as they attracted over 5,000 eyeballs prior to me writing this negative review. Hopefully it helps 5,000+ more people avoid this place now.)
Oh, and our old unit rented for $250 less (with 6 weeks free) than what they were going to raise our rent to. I don’t understand you, Avenue5. Not one bit. Or, is the losses of us moving really what you’re trying to get us to pay for..? It’s just about the exact amount they lost on us not renewing. Hmm.

Horrible place to live. Incompetent management.

Living breathing construction zone. Jackhammering, sawing, demolition noises starting early in the morning, and going well past 7 pm. The jackhammering noises are consistently going past 7 pm which is in direct violation of the Seattle Noise Ordinance. The apartment complex is "remodeling", but could care less about what effect the "remodeling" has on its residents.

If you enjoy have a good night of sleep, good luck getting it here. If you work from home, good luck getting any work done.

The extent and the scope of the "remodeling" was never communicated before signing the lease. Typical false advertising and bait and switch tactics. If I knew that I would have a construction zone right outside my window I would have never signed the lease.

edit: the contruction noise has continued and management has done nothing about it. They don't care how this construction is affecting residents.

Amenities spaces which were advertised on move in have been closed for over 6 months. Management first promised that they would open by December, then they moved the goal post to Mid March, and come March they are still not open. Management at this building love to lie and cheat their residents.

Consistent fire alarm tests without any prior notice.

Toxic fumes from the tar/asphalt being placed on the patio/terrace consistently went into my apartment and management did absolutely nothing about it. The management could care less about the health of its residents.

"We are sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation" - recurrent expression featured in emails from the building management.

I've been living in this apartment for the past 7 months now, and I generally have a high tolerance level but the list of issues with this building is endless and frankly frustrating to say the least. From tiny annoyances that you could brush off if they were few and far between, all the way to concerning safety matters. I'd rate it a zero star if I could based on my poor experience thus far

1. There are water pressure issues and water has been shut off multiple time for as long as 8 hours. Sometimes you are informed beforehand and there are times you're not even informed.

2. Elevator saga - We've got one out of the two that's actually working, but it moves at the pace of a snail on vacation. You've got to factor in a solid 15 minutes just to catch a ride during the peak hours. And good luck getting in during trash collection – that's like the elevator's designated nap time.

3. Also, there are times when elevators stop working all together. They weren't working for a few hours recently and no surprise we weren't informed earlier. Imagine my plight yesterday - There was a wifi outage yesterday (which is far too common here) so I couldn't login to my work, and the elevators weren't working either. I took the stairs from the 18th floors, like I'm training for the Olympic Stair Climbing event. And you'd think they'd sort it while I was at work, but nope, elevators were still playing hooky when I got back. That was the last straw, seriously.

4. Safety? Well, let's just say I've had the pleasure of spotting some nighttime guests at our front door – yep, homeless folks chilling at the entrance. Check out the pic I snapped.

5. The utility bills are so high - between $200 and $300 for a 1B1B. Its at par with some of the luxury buildings but minus any sort of luxury at all.

6. Repairs are basically our unofficial neighbors. Side door, front door – take your pick, one's bound to be out of order. Right now, it's the fitness room's turn to get a makeover.

7. The community room? It's like the unicorn of this place. They've got rules that make it about as accessible as Narnia. Closed after 5 PM? Sundays and holidays too? Yeah, I'll just hang out with my guests in my cozy apartment, thanks.

8. And get this – right after moving in, I was jetting off abroad in four days, desperately waiting for some important mail. And what do I get? The wrong mailbox key. Slow clap. *facepalm*.
Griffis Seattle Waterfront: Where the pros shine, the cons amuse, and the competition pales.

**Pros:** The front office is amazing—Katrina is always kind and so personable. Nora should run a customer service masterclass. She made my cross-state move seamless with measurements and quick answers. Maintenance (shoutout to Marcus!) is on it, the location is unbeatable, and I haven’t seen a single bug in almost two years here. Seriously, not one bug! Plus, Griffis knows how to own up to mistakes. When my AC leaked on my TV stand, they apologized and gave me a generous gift certificate, quickly restoring my trust.

**Cons:** Occasional gunfire (hey, you’re downtown and it’s quieter this year), a stovetop without labels that’s turned dinner into a science experiment, and a lingering aroma of marijuana and grill smoke wafting into my unit like unwelcome guests. Oh, and parking’s climbing to $375 a month.

Despite considering moving, Griffis is still leagues ahead of every complex I’ve toured in Seattle, Redmond, Kirkland, Issaquah, and Bellevue. Even with its quirks, Griffis is the company to go with if you do your homework. Honestly, nothing else compares.

Lived at Stratus for the last 15 months before moving out of town. Neighborhood is safe. The building is fantastic. The staff is helpful and friendly, and the building was always spotlessly clean. Most importantly, the units are very, very quiet. Gym is great. The one time I needed maintenance (battery in a smoke detector), the concierge had a replacement battery to me within 5 minutes. Highly recommended. Loved my time there.
I’ve been living in this building for almost 2 years now and the experience has been nothing short of perfect. First of all, the apartment and it’s layout is so beautiful and practical with lots of natural light. Very reasonably priced with excellent management and very efficient service. Any problem we have is solved within a day. This is a hidden gem in Seattle!
Living here for 18 months now. This is a wonderful place to live. Reasonable rents, great management, beautiful apartments with so much natural night - all within the heart of Capitol Hill. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.
I've lived at Capital Steps for 4 years. It is a fantastic place to live at. My apartment was amazing and management is great! Any time I needed maintenance, it would be taken care of it immediately, usually within a day or two.

Shauna is the best property manager. She made living at Capital Steps the best experience for me. Heather who also is apart of the team is just as amazing! This place was a gem to find in Capital Hill. Couldn't recommend it more.

I really love Skye at Belltown. Not only is it one of the only buildings of its kind in Downtown/ Belltown area but my view is unmatched. See attached photos! Fun fact: it predates the Space Needle!

The staff could not be sweeter and so responsive. Anytime there has been an issue or routine maintenance, they are immediately responsive and follow up after the work is done. Some of the staff lives in the building too so they truly take pride in their work and it’s more than just a 9-5 for them.

I want to give a special shout-out to Susan, Alex, and Sam. They are always so friendly to me and my dog Bear. It’s just a great feeling to feel apart of this community.

Safety is super important to me. There is always someone at the front door and most of the building is on a first name basis with eachother. There is also a gorgeous 1-acre garden/ green space for residents only that is perfect to walk your dog at any time of day or night.

This is a really pet friendly building and there are quite a few long time residents which is just a testament to how great this building and community is.

I don’t plan on moving anytime soon. Thanks Skye for making this apartment building really feel like a community.
I’ve been here one year now and I love living here. If you have a doggie, they will absolutely love it here too. The maintenance team and office staff is very helpful and very responsive. Great place to live with wonderful views.

It was a great stay at Skye for the past 1 year, the apartments are very well maintained, the management is awesome and really helpful, they would go out of the way to help you especially during moving, maintenance services are usually prompt, there are good views and the location is safe and very accessible. In terms of apartments, there’s no AC and microwave but there’s always fans and cheaper microwaves available in the market.
Will recommend to people looking for places in downtown

I've been here several times over the past 15 to 20 years. I'm honestly really impressed at all the recent updates they have made. This place hides its age very well. The building has a cafw attached as well as various common/game spaces and other amenities.

Every unit seems to have at least one balcony. The appliances and cabinetry could use some updating, but everything is clean and sturdy. If I haven't been here over the years I would never have known this place has been around for decades.

Now for the ugly. It's darn near right in the heart of downtown on a one way street. So much to do, but also so much traffic and terrible onstreet parking.

Overall this place is a fairly good value for the space, location, and amenities. They could use more cameras and the garage is sketch as most buildings in Seattle, but for the space, balconies, and views, I'd Def keep this on my list of affordable options in Seattle.

Beautiful units!
Stratus has been the best community I’ve lived in Seattle for the past 12 years since moving here. The apartments are great, amenities top notch, and the staff are amazing across the board.

Maintenance is quick to respond, our concierge team is always welcoming and helpful (especially with packages or deliveries) and the leasing office went out of their way to help multiple times.

You’ll be happy with your choice if you choose here!

I lived at Capitol Steps for 9 years, recently leaving this past year to move into a home. My unit was wonderful, and I can't say enough good things about the management! There were several different building managers over the years, all of them excellent. Any time we had any repair issue, they took care of it immediately, usually within a day or same day. One time my washer just up and died, it was replaced the next day! They also rarely raised my rent, only doing so when really necessary. Best apartment I've ever lived in!
I usually don’t write reviews but I strongly the need to about this place. Management has proven to be unprofessional only bullying a certain group of residents in Wagner creek. Many people who do not reside in the building continue to park inside of the parking garage without a parking decal leaving no parking spaces for the actual residents. Leaving the residents to park on the road or inside the parking garage near the elevators only to face parking violations. It’s unfair and something needs to be done about this. Parking notices go out about cars will be towed away if they are in violation or have no parking decal but that’s not true no cars actually get towed away, what Olga and Crystal are doing is targeting certain group of residents after they have parked in a parking area they are not supposed to after there are no more parking spaces. Crystal one of the Managment has 2 parking spots with one of her cars broken down and has a flat tire and that’s a violation alone yet she chooses to target certain residents complaining that they are parking in her parking spots when there are actually no assigned parking in the garage. This situation needs to be rectified as soon as possible. Also there is a guy on the 8th floor named Francisco, he steal packages and has not been penalized at all! This guy even openly practices voodoo and witchcraft on the other residents constantly brings them to his apartment for sacrifices and ceremonies. I have even eyewitness evidence him pouring wax on the back windshield of residents car late at night! This place is trash and it needs a new management team right away!
Good location 👍🏽

Capitol Steps is an awesome place to live. I lived there in 2016 and went back in 2019. Shauna is the best apartment manager I've ever had. The maintenance staff is super nice. Only thing I'd be aware of is the city noise on Bellevue Ave.
It is a nice apartment building with inside parking garage, gym and a party room and a very nice terrace to just appreciate the view
Clean, friendly and priced right. Shauna is very knowledgeable and informative. Location is perfect. Highly recommend.
Very rude, lazy and unprofessional. The management office was rarely open, when they do, they they don't serve you. Wagner Greek should do better, but 1 star is more than enough for the location.
Edit: I appreciate the management for hiring new professional more attentive staff. I didn't end up renting there because it was already too late when they did, but the new staff were doing their best to help showing the apartment options. I wouldn't give 5 stars either, the availability was limited and the staff weren't able to pull actual numbers for the renting price. Still there is a hassle to get inside and meet the leasing office's staff, but it's rather a tremendous improvement
Clean very clean.
Good place close to downtown.
The apartment is good for buck and vicinity of Seattle downtown location.
It was perfect and Shauna the manager is always there to help whenever needed. She was great property manager.

We've been here for about 4 months now and have loved every minute of it. The team was incredibly accommodating and helpful while moving in sending us courtesy reminders on needed paper work and made moving in seamless. The units are spacious and for the most part, pretty sound proof for an older building (single pane windows). The amenities are incredible and they keep them in working order and perfectly staged. The pool / patio area looks like it's cleaned hourly - always propane for grilling. They just installed a latte machine downstairs that's always clean and loaded with fresh beans. I could go on. There's an eclectic vibe about this apartment, a little old, a little new. The location is choice too. ~One minute from hwy access, minutes from local bars / restaurants / about 23 minutes from the airport. A great pull in area for loading and unloading. Someone is almost always available at the front desk which just provides peace of mind. They seem to be on it with packages too as packages always went missing at our old apartment but we get the locker alerts here and haven't missed a single delivery yet. We get pretty frequent community updates from the management team which is great as well. They also put on a couple community events every so often which is cool to see as well - you can tell the team here strives to make it an overall positive experience for everyone that resides. I legit have little to complain about - I've been renting for over 10 years and to date this has been the best apartment experience overall. Seems like a lot of the negative Google reviews are based on old management that from what I can tell has been since rectified. 5/5. Great views day and night.
Terrible service over the phone.

There are several reasons why my husband and I decided to leave Metropolitan tower: the foremost reason relating to interactions with management, with security a very close second. Despite repeated attempts to engage management in these issues, no action was taken and, ultimately, our concerns as tenants were ignored. Below I’ve included a list of concerns I discussed with management, as well as photographic evidence to corroborate. I hope management can solve some of these concerns, as it has been an overall disappointing experience to live here.
Shortly after extending our lease, construction and renovations began on the building. At no point did administration inform the tenants of the impending construction (although they still raised rent by ~20%), nor was there an open forum for residents to discuss their concerns openly with management. Such actions created vast distrust in an already shaky environment.
Since we have moved into Metropolitan tower, there have been security concerns. For much of our time here, the door to the elevator lobby never properly closed (see Exhibit A). This was an ongoing issue for months and was only recently resolved. However, this was not the largest security issue. The door from the lobby was propped open to anyone that enters the lobby (see Exhibits B, C, D) during construction. This would have been less of an issue if there had been 24/7 security or concierge engaging those entering the building; however, that was also rare (see Exhibit E).
When we selected Metropolitan tower, it was in part due to the amenities available. After living here for a year in a half, it is apparent these amenities are not kept up with or managed well. As you can see in Exhibit F, the 8th floor outside space turned into a mud pit over the rainy and became an overall unappealing space. However, the main amenity issue is the dog run. As evident in Exhibit G (1 & 2), when it is dark there is no lighting in this section of the building, leading to many dog-owners not picking up after their pets. According to our apartment-networking site, this has been an issue since before we moved in.
Packages is the most recent of the concerns, as it has only been an issue since the construction/new management began. We had several occurrences of not getting notifications of packages, losing packages, or receiving damaged/spoiled packages. Additionally, when they installed the new package system – it caught on fire.
Typically, we had a meal service delivered. This box is typically delivered in the lockers with a notification email sent. However, several times we got no notification, and after so many instances with packages we went in to the system to track if it had been delivered. It had been delivered in the morning. There was no notification. Once again, it spoiled like some previous deliveries. We asked why there wasn’t a notification concerning the package and the response provided was “there is no room in the lockers.” The management team spent all this money updating the package system, and there is not enough room to accommodate the tenants of the building. This is not the first-time this has occurred, and it is unacceptable.
Not everything about Metropolitan tower was negative; in fact most of our early experiences were pretty good. However, overall it is clear to me that current management (Greystar) does not act on resident feedback. I will not put my money where I do not have a voice. I would not recommend anyone to live here longer than a hotel stay. That said, if you are living here – also expect many temporary vacationers and those in temporary housing situations as the building is used for those purposes as well. I hope this feedback will create change, as I truly hope nobody else will have to go through this experience.
Parking is a challenge.
