I was impressed with the amount of different spas there's to offer in this bath house.
We were greeted with the valet service at the front of the spa which I think is so worth it as you will spend 2+ hr here. As you walk in, you're greeted by well polite staff who will explain to you every step of the progress to get ready and enjoy the full spa experience. You're offered a free juice during the spa experience as refreshment. There's also hydration stations with free water and tea at different area of the spa.
Prior to the spa experience, it's recommended that you do a salt exfoliation before and after. I enjoyed the exfoliation as it makes me feel even more clean and ready.
My favorite one is the steam room with the cold plunge. It has a smell of peppermint in the room which makes you feel refreshed. My other favorite one is the power jet jacuzzi.
My boyfriend's favorite were the cold plunges and the steam rooms.
They also offer different unique experiences that includes wine bath and massages.

It wasn't a cheap experience but it was worth the splurge and relaxation once in a While where you can completely detach from the outside world physically and mentally and just focus on yourself.

Absolutely the most relaxing, amazing experience!! The massage was incredible my massage therapist really listened to what I wanted to focus on and the exfoliation did a great job! Spent hours relaxing the in saunas, warm baths, jet bath, and even made it to the cold plunge pools a few times. Very friendly and helpful staff, highly recommend!!

This is a pricey experience but so worth it for a special treat! I’ve been a few times and always love the soak experience. Today was my first time getting a massage, which I had heard mixed things about, but I had an amazing experience! My massage therapist, Marie, was incredible. She managed to make the massage feel both rejuvenating - deep pressure and worked on some chronic issues - while still being extremely relaxing. 10/10 would book a massage again!

This was my first wax with Gabriella and I’ll for sure be rebooking with her again! Since my last waxer I’ve not felt entirely thrilled about going back to get a wax but after my service with Gabriella I feel so better about returning. She was incredibly nice throughout my service, made sure I was comfortable and she did an amazing job! Best waxer at this location, 10/10.

I started going to Kody about a year ago due to a friend and coworker’s recommendation!! He has great expertise when it comes to the dental profession (as well as many others) and the toll it takes on the body! Cannot recommend him enough!!

Eduardo always adjusts our session to my specific needs that month. I have chronic low back pain and he is very knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to try and help me. I'd reccomend him to anyone!

First time getting waxed and Julio made it a great experience. Little to no pain and done in no time. Definitely getting waxed again here!

The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is my husband and I had a couple's massage, and my husband has had new back pain in the days following. I forget the name of the man who did my husband’s massage, but if you just ask for Oxana you will be in great hands!!

Javier was absolutely fantastic. If you would like a healing massage please consider choosing him when booking a your service. He was very attentive to the needs I expressed before my session began. First very clean and also well operation business. The only draw back Is a number of men looking for male dates. I have nothing wrong If a man like a other man. But a friend who Is 22 years old and who works as a trash man pick up dumpsters 50-60 hours a week and goes In for a steam. And has 6-10 older guys hitting on him. For a phone number Is sad.

This place is incredible. Is a little expensive for a massage but you have never had an experience like this. We did the hot stone massage for 45 minutes and I wanted more. After that the cold plunge and the pools were incredible. So elegant this is an experience like nothing else. Take your swimsuit an enjoy. They are going to take care of everything else!!!

Cannot recommend Kody enough! I’ve been seeing him for over a year, and it’s always a great experience! Very knowledgeable, meticulous, and has been helping me through some consistent neck/shoulder/back pain.

Amado is the best masseuse out there! His techniques and calm energy are top tier. I especially recommend his services for anyone who works on a computer with neck/shoulder tension - 11/10!!

I've been a customer at Hand & Stone for years and years. I started at South Loop and my massage therapist left. I tried a few other therapists and was going to give up my membership because I couldn't find anyone I liked. Then, I found Kody at Lincoln Park. He is by far the best massage therapist I have had. It's hard to find a therapist who understand what you need and Kody truly can find all the knots and tension and work them out. My body always feels relaxed after I see him and I very highly recommend him!!

Javier was amaze balls! For my first deep tissue massage, I was more than satisfied. He was very attentive and has magic hands. I was so sad when I had to get off the table LOL! I definitely made another appointment for myself and my mom. The spa is beautiful and serene. The staff are kind and professional. I’ve been a few times over the years for hot stone massages (those are great too!), but never thought to leave a review because I’m always in a daze when I leave. 10 out of 10, highly recommend!

Kody (in Lakeview) is hands down the best massage therapist I’ve ever seen. I’ve had a shoulder injury that’s bothered me for 10+ years and I’ve seen a lot of different people for it. It wasn’t until after a few months of seeing him on a regular basis that the pain started to reside. He has the most relaxing massage and the best deep tissue massage. Kody is always booked far out for a reason! If you’ve got chronic pain, or stress, he’s your guy. Side note, I never write reviews for anything, but this man is magical and sent from the gods.

This beautiful facility looks just like the photos and was very clean. It lacks, however, a level of customer service that I expected from a luxury spa with these prices. It was crowded, and very little choice was offered. I booked a 60-minute massage and was rushed there before enjoying any of the baths. Staff gave a speedy tour of the various baths, and I had to ask them to slow down or repeat what was said several times. My massage was mediocre at best. The therapist had no intuitive sense and could have been done by a robot. I'm certain she didn't provide 60 minutes, but with electronics banned, I couldn't verify. I was very disappointed.

Overall, the services are excellent—every provider I saw did a wonderful job. My one star is due to the fact that I signed up for their membership program and was told it was very easy to cancel (since I asked due to me moving within the next few months). I have called, filled out an online request form and emailed corporate to attempt to obtain the official cancellation form. Nobody has followed up despite being assured that I would receive return calls from the manager of the location. This was over a 3 week period and it’s frustrating as I no longer live in the state and cannot simply walk in to request one. Be wary of this!

This is an awesome place. First time getting some of these treatments and will definitely be back. Thena did a great job and the owner is a real cool guy. Will highly recommend.

Good gym terrible environment had 40 dollars taken from my wallet in a locker with a lock on it also bag was moved to a different locker. Management and staff knows this occurs on a daily basis but doesn’t let people know about the problem and does not do anything to help security.

I recently went for my birthday with 3 friends and it was amazing. Everyone was super friendly and made sure we had what we needed. The spa has a great variety of baths at different temperatures along with two saunas with two different aroma therapy scents that made the experience even better. The facility was super clean as far as I could tell. The facility was not packed which makes it nice because everyone kind of gives you your own space. Over all I will certainly love to go again. It was a nice escape from the outside world.

If you're looking for a great day out in the heart of the city, you've got to check out Chicago Sweet Lodge. It's this amazing spot where you can really relax and forget about your worries.

The dry room is super warm and makes you feel refreshed from head to toe. They also have this special treatment called 'platza' that blends old-school and new-school spa methods. It's really cool and leaves you feeling like a new person. They even give you a top-notch scrub that makes your skin feel awesome.

Now, the food at their restaurant is just as great. Every dish is super tasty and you can tell they know what they're doing. You've got to try the Bath House Salad—the dressing is legendary and has been a favorite since 1928.

So, if you want a day full of relaxation and great food, Chicago Sweet Lodge is the place to go. It's not just a spot to visit; it's a whole experience that you won't want to miss.

Sky was fantastic! She made me feel comfortable during my first wax, she provided helpful information, and she was detail oriented and went over spots more than once if a few hairs were missed due to them being short or thin. I will be booking with her again!

Julio is simply the best. I'm definitely glad I went in.

Elizabeth is very attentive, listens to your concerns and makes sure to make your experience comfortable.The young lady at the front desk Alexxis was fabulous as well, Alexxis went above and beyond by getting me a deal with my services I wasn't aware of. Thank you ladies for a wonderful experience. I will be back!

Been going here for past few years. It's getting better. However, wish they had the machines that count your reps. But they have variety of machines and Great space to workout

I've been coming to see Tracy for a number of years now and she knows her stuff! She's very knowledgeable and I love picking her brain on all skin related issues. Her custom facials are wonderful and I can't stop touching my face afterwards! I had a gift card and splurged on the Vichy massage a couple years ago and...oh my God....AMAZING! Now I'm hooked! Between the salt scrub and the high pressure water massage...your skin will feel soft as a baby and your body amazingly relaxed....highly recommend!

Aire was amazing! The massage was fabulous. We enjoyed every bath experience. Our appointment was at night so perfect for viewing the sky at the swim out pool. Highly recommend. The locker room attendants were great as well as the rest of the staff. Worth the whole trip and I will be back.

I love Elizabeth at European Wax Lincoln Square. She’s friendly and gentle. When I get waxed by her it lasts longer, because she’s very precise and thorough. She’s quite skilled in her work. 💯 recommend her.

Great gym, great staff. The men’s shower room is dirty tho. How often do the employees clean? I’ve noticed that the female janitor did a much better job than the male janitor but this wasn’t recent so staff might’ve changed. What hours does the men’s shower room get cleaned and for how long?

They do a great job. They are very professional. They were able to get me in last minute when another place canceled. I highly recommend this place. They will take care of you!

Let me start by saying I picked this spa because of the great reviews, but left pretty disappointed. The atmosphere is nice, and the music played during my massage was very relaxing. But the masseuse I had definitely did not give me a massage worth of any of the price. I did The Empire experience last week and my massage was painful, even when I asked for them to target different areas & be more gentle. The facial was underwhelming — I’m used to someone guashaing the face/really massaging it before applying product and what I received was just 50mins of very light touching/reapplying the same product. It seemed like the people I had were all very young/new, and maybe that’s why it felt so inexperienced. I’ve had experiences 10x better for half the price — I don’t mind paying this much for spa services but this just wasn’t worth it.

Wonderful customer service, I called to get last minute slots for 3 people, they couldn’t accommodate all three of us, but referred us to another spa for part of our party. Both spas proved to be excellent. 10/10

Overall a really good experience and a relaxing time. Despite being on busy streets, the treatment rooms are very quiet.
Everyone is polite and attentive, however, the front desk is a bit pushy about getting you to sign up for a membership. Takes away from the post massage bliss.

An incredible experience! I did the 90 minute all bath treatment and it was so nice to be able to choose what I wanted to do. I love the salt scrub, the cold plunges and the floating tank with the underwater meditative music. Great for group, great for solo time and great for a date! Would love to inquire if they have a membership because it was so beneficial for my body, mind and skin.

Found out from a friend about the hair services offer to men for hair regrownth

I took my husband here for his birthday. We had a 5p appointment and the place closed at 6p. The spa stays open to 630p to allow customers to get themselves together. Now, we were late! Us being late was very much our fault! However, the way this establishment handled our situation was a disappointed.
We were at valet at 5p and of course valet was packed. I left to go check us in at the spa and my husband tended to the car at valet. I checked both of us in at the Spa and filled out our paperwork.
A female masseuse greets me and takes me to our room for the couples massage. The lady finally tells me that they are cutting our massage short due to us being late. I replied “why didn’t front desk let us know this beforehand?” The lady replied “well you would have been charged for everything anyways”. I did not appreciate that comment from her even if it was true or not. If front desk would have told us up front that they were going to cut our time; that at least gives me the option to proceed or see if we could have rescheduled another day. My bill was $450+ (even if it was a $1) the establishment should have been up front with us and let us make that choice.
So as a result, we got a 20 – 30 minute rushed massage. My masseuse never even asked how the pressure was or how I felt. My masseuse did ask me what area he should focus on, which I answered back and shoulders. Because my masseuse was rushing and press for time, he didn’t even focus on my shoulders. He rubbed my left shoulder forgot to even touch my right.
Moreover, after everything was said and done my husband described his experience to me. He said that the paper I filled out for him when I checked us in, a male staffer ripped up in front of him. The male staffer said he couldn’t use it and made my husband fill out another sheet. Staffer could have politely explained that my husband has to fill out his own sheet. So simple. Let’s not abruptly rip up paper in front of a customer!
As a result, we got a 30min an express couples massage. The massage was not even mediocre. The worst $450ish I’ve ever paid.
For future reference, please tell your customer up front that their time will be cut, for example the front desk should be relaying this message not the masseuse. Moreover, if the appointment is late, like around closing time because they can’t even experience the rest of the Spa like Jacuzzi steam room etc. Also, I recommend you allow the customer to reschedule. It’s not like we were a no show, allow us to make the decision to proceed or reschedule so we can be able to experience the full “je ne sais quoi”!
But just a tad of light for future customer, I was speaking to some ladies that were experiencing the spa at the same time. The lady’s seemed very pleased and referred a masseuse name Eli. Those ladies were a delight after my horrible experience.

Wow!! I had a wonderful massage with Reuben! It was so relaxing! I also had a steam shower afterwards. The staff was polite and helpful. I would highly recommend this spa to anyone looking to spoil themselves! Thank you.

When my husband and I scanned our cards the guy in the front desk made me scan it again which is fine because it happens sometimes but he made me scan it 5 times and on top of that he gave me and my husband a huge attitude and told us we can leave. He was disgusting and rude and when we went back to ask for his name they refused to give us his name so i can file a complaint to planet fitness.

This is one of my favorite spas. Javier is the best masseuse I have ever had! I travel a lot and my muscles are constantly tensed up and I feel so great after his massages. He really pays attention to the areas that need work. Can’t recommend enough!

All the staff is very polite! I got a hour custom massage, focused on my sciatica lower and right leg. It helped me so much the next day! Massage was great! Most likely will come back!

Had an emergency tried to cancel my appointment. The receptionist took my information told me they would call me back but never did & charge my card $300. Followed up because no one call me back and they said absolutely no accommodations could be made. Not only that but this was for my birthday. I would not recommend anyone coming here because they do not care about the customer only the money & it shows.

Alex was AMAZING! I was previously going to a different location and the person I was seeing left, so I had to find a new person! I got matched with Alex and he was truly incredible. He works on trigger points which I don't think I've experienced before, and I'm leaving noticeably more relaxed! He communicates really well and makes sure you're comfortable with his pressure and what he's working on. I cannot recommend Alex enough!

Went to Cristina for my first-ever Brazilian, and she was amazing! The waxing didn’t take long at all, and Cristina was warm, friendly and professional. Made me feel a lot better about my first time since I was nervous! Highly recommend her and EWC.

Tracey is an exquisite, personable, and detailed orientated esthetician. She has a rad sense of style that caters specifically to each client's self care needs. Not only is the decor trendy but the space is filled with the ambiance of personal holistic healing. Her sheik demeanor enhances one's experience and continuously welcomes them to the "Luminere Family."

I am updating this review after hearing back from the owner immediately and her taking great steps to reach out to me with an explanation and options to make rectify the situation. Customer service like this is not encountered that often and for that, I will highly recommend this spa.

Unfortunately pretty disappointed with the massages that my sister and I received over Mother’s Day weekend. Both of our therapists were wearing rubber gloves which gave off an odor and a noise which was distracting. My therapist didn’t really seem to have any “technique” and it was more like she was just rubbing lotion into my body. She was also wearing a mask (which I don’t mind at all) but was very out of breath the whole time which was also distracting. It might be nice to tell clients at the time of booking that the therapists wear gloves. At the price point for our services, I was expecting much better.

Cynthia at Streeterville is absolutely amazing. She gave me one of the best massages I've ever had. I felt so airy and relaxed. It's been a couple of days and I still feel great. I can't wait for my next treatment!

This Planet Fitness location is the cleanest and most well managed location I’ve ever been to. Machines do break because of improper use but they seem to be fixed in a timely manner. Gym is not overly packed except for peak hours. I frequently see the staff doing a deep clean and even cleaning under machines often. Highly recommend this gym and shout to the friendly staff.

I've been going to Tracey for several years now and can still remember the night and day difference the first visit had on the quality of my skin. With her monthly facials and recommendations I feel the health of my skin is light-years ahead of where it would be without her. Always look forward to my visits.

If you're looking for glowing skin, a soothing massage, and a relaxing appointment, look no further. I have been a client of Tracey's for 7 years and in that time I have given my skin's full care and my perfect trust to her. In her hands my skin has gone from cystic acne with hyperpigmentation at which point I was wearing makeup daily due to low confidence), to glowing skin with minimal tone changes where I only wear makeup if I feel like it. Besides being a talented skincare specialist, massage therapist, ayurvedic practitioner and more, Tracey is also just a wonderful person. 11/10 would highly recommend Luminere. If you're lucky enough to have the chance to become a client; take it.

First time ever getting waxed and I was admittedly shy going into the whole thing, but Julio made this whole experience so much better. He made me laugh the entire time, but kept things 100% professional and gave me some great tips for after waxing skin care. I feel so much more confident thanks to him and would recommend him to anyone looking for a great wax! They offer a lot more than just waxing too so I'm excited to go back and try out some of their other services, but I'm absolutely hooked on this place after just one visit!

Our time at the Spa was amaaaazzzing! My entire group was impressed!
The snacks/drinks were perfect, the set up was very relaxing, and everyone loved their Massages and Facials! Oh my gosh and the robes! We could not stop talking about how comfy they are. In general the Spa and Hotel is beautiful, and the group rates are very reasonable! I highly recommend!!

I've been going to Tracey for I don't know how long, now - maybe 10 years, maybe even longer. She's unbelievably affordable but delivers luxury-end service, and I see her regularly. She's also delightful. She's a real pro, knows her stuff. My skin has never looked better. I look younger than I did 5 years ago!

My weekly facial appointments with Tracey have helped my breakouts since Covid immensely and my skin looks better than ever. In addition to her huge talent as an esthetician, Tracey has a great sense of humor which makes the environment fun and friendly. Love Luminere!

This sauna is not in perfect condition, locker room is on the far side- people walking across all area with outside shoes and bring more dirt. Outside area is a great option to relax after sauna but it is smoking area so no joy to stay there. Average is not good sauna (I compared with huge amount of places I was before in Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Georgia, PA etc.) but 5 starts to those guys because it is hard and low, close to not profitable business.

Cristina was amazing! I’ve been going to her for more than a year now & every time I go, I love my service! She is very detailed & makes sure to get every little hair! I never feel a thing when going to her. Definitely book with her!

Tiffany was great. I got the 1 hour massage and also tried 30 min rapid tension relief. Amazing results. I love this place.

Great spa, friendly staff. Calm atmosphere. I highly recommend the hydro tub treatment. Some more semi private lounge areas would be the only thing to put this spa over the top.

If I could give zero stars I would. My wife used to work for and manage a Hand and Stone. So she is familiar with their policies so when something come up and we weren’t able to make our appointment my wife called trying to cancel our appointments 23 hrs before hand. Proceeded to tell my wife there would be a charge on our card because it was after 24 hr notice. First of all, confirmation calls were done the day prior to the appointments but this location is saying its done three days prior! That is one of the stupidest business policies, do doctors call three days before appointments to make sure you’re coming? No! Besides that, my wife and I NEVER received the confirmation call. The manager (Christine) then proceeded to tell my wife she is WRONG. Customer is always right? Did absolutely nothing to try and calm my wife down and keep her as a customer, the manager just HUNG UP ON HER TWICE!! I WILL NEVER BE GOING TO THIS LOCATION AND I WILL MAKE SURE TO TELL EVERYONE THE SAME. Don’t care if I have to stand outside the doors, DO NOT go to this location if you want a relaxing massage/facial. You’ll leave there feeling worse than when you came in.

I had the Hydrotub service and the Flow Massage with Serena. She did an amazing job! She focused on the areas I asked and felt so relaxed afterwards. My sisters had The State Facial and the Palmer House Polish in Vichy. Both enjoyed their services as well. Check in staff was friendly and asked if we needed anything to drink. We were able to sit and relax after our services. We left feeling great!

The first time back in a gym... put it off for so long, but I was super comfortable once there. There was no shortage of machines. Two! 2 floors! As I was on the treadmill, I could see constant sanitation by staff and members. And best of all is the staff all so friendly, looking forward to working with CJ on my next visit. He took time to explain and tweak some things to help me get more comfortable with the environment and my own technique. I am yet to take advantage of the spa benefits that go with my membership, but ... soon come!

I was going to fly out and come here but I will not be now since they gave a friend of mine an infection and badly bruised her, and when she kindly asked for a refund she got blocked. It’s giving scam, 40k followers on Instagram but only getting 397 views with 15 likes and 3 comments? Hmmm.

The quality definitely went down. Much less Russian food on the menu. Saunas falling apart and dirty. No hot water to be found, even in the showers. Still a great experience but nothing compared to 5 years ago+

The owner presents herself as a Licensed nurse but she is not a nurse performing highly invasive services. She has blood canisters running over with blood products and needles which is very concerning because that’s not sanitary at all which could put people at risk of getting an infection and or a deadly disease. I would not come again.

Went with a group of 11 women. The spa was spacious and accomodating. Blondell, the masseuse, has magical hands. Although the services are expensive and possibly overpriced, you are getting luxury and quality. The steam room was fantastic also. I didn't get to go in the soaking tub because it was full, but I felt extremely relaxed when I left.

I got my hair done by Julio who did more than great, but an amazing job with my hair color, blow dry, and trim. Beyond my expectations! Thank you so much for the great service. The spa super cute esthetics are beautiful and cozy! Definitely gained a hair stylist :).

I have been living In the area for over a year now and I always walk past this spot with the dog. Decided to finally check it out and I was not disappointed what so ever. The customer service was excellent. The atmosphere was chill and calm and cool. You need a place to decompress and just let some stress out and also at an affordable price, come here. I will be back.

Great atmosphere. Office is well put together, clean and inviting. Customer service is great from the moment you walk in. The owner is knowledgeable and open to answering any and all questions that you may have. Most importantly I love the results from cavitation, to body wrap, skinny shots, and more. Would definitely recommend!

My experience at The Spa at Palmer House was superb. I felt like a queen. It exceeded my expectations. I love the Hydrotherapy bath. It was the perfect kick-off to the rest of my day. I purchased the Empire package and every single moment was amazing. The environment was beautiful and clean. I felt cared for, listened to, and welcomed. I loved getting a fresh glass of cold water handed to me after each session and the complimentary glass of wine during my mani-pedi session. I can't wait to come back. I drove from MI just to experience this Spa and it was everything I imagined plus more.

months now this machine does not work. Several clients have reported it and this gym does not improve its equipment, the area of ​​scarce weights lost almost and some pounds are not there. I have officially been amazed. I consider myself a well traveled man. I frequent all ranges of spas and this by far was the best one. From the ambiance to the customer service to the massage to the amenities everything was A++. My fiance book me this appointment. Upon arrival I was escorted to the men's changing room. It included a smart mirror, four leather seats, 3TVs, a sauna, steam room individual showers and a Jacuzzi.

Once my masseuse grabbed me from the waiting area we went to the room and I received a 50 minute deep tissue massage. she applied just the right amount of pressure to loosen me up as well as still make it relaxed. Upon my exit I was met with a cup of champagne and a cup of water. I then went to the sauna for some additional relaxation. the gentleman who is escorted me then located me in the sauna and asked me if there was any additional things that I require of which I asked for some water.

Once I left the sonner got dressed and returned to the front the front desk receptionist gave me a free bath bomb because I informed them that my birthday was going to be tomorrow April 21st. I truly where I was blown away by the entire experience. I think I've officially found my new spa.

I would recommend sculpting Goddess to anyone looking for the ultimate experience in Med Spa care. The people are so welcoming and go above and beyond for the benefit of each client. My experience was nothing less of amazing. The level of knowledge is like that of no other. Definitely worth every penny. I will continue on with Sculpting Goddess for the rest of my body med spa needs.

What I love & respect the most is that she treats your body like its hers. She assesses exactly what you need & recommends the best ways to achieve your goals. I thought I wasn't getting any changes & she showed me my before pictures compared to current & felt so much better about the process. You don't see changes overnight it takes time & yes every body is different so take time with your body & allow her to do her procedures.

I went in for Body contouring and saw dramatic effects on my abdomen and got an awesomely defined hourglass curvature. I ate clean and drank a lot of water. If you do the same you will see results.

Definitely an amazing experience! I must admit, I was a little skeptical at first about body conturing. But a good friend of mine recommended this spa to me, as well as the treatment and I'm so HAPPY I went through with the whole thing.
