Cannot fault Bennelong, the food, service, vibe and view is worth the money. I may be biased, but Bennelong would have the best location in Sydney with incredible views from your table. Went on a Sunday to experience the Jazz during lunch and it did not disappoint. Good choice for the 3 courses of lunch, could maybe have one or two more to fill me but it was all delicious and matched the venue. The service was kind and prompt, accommodating a change in the final course. It is an expensive restaurant but well worth it and will be returning and cannot recommend enough.
Amazing restaurant located inside the Opera house. The food and service is great. You can book either the bar counters or tables for dining. Both make for a good experience. Interior is amazing with a view of the City, Ferries and the bridge. Two courses are from around $150 and $190 for three. We did the two course and it was plenty. Service is excellent too and they are very attentive. Bookings are essential. Definitely recommended.
One of Sydney's best fine dining restaurants. Lovely ambience with incredible food. My personal favourite was their sashimi scallops which was really fresh. The waitstaff were attentive and friendly. Can't wait to come back.
This place has saved Australia. After six weeks of traveling across the country, it was the first true culinary experience that we have really enjoyed. The service was exquisite. The French lady (Elina?) was very patient and explained every single dish. The food was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The location creates high hopes but you really exceeded our expectations.
We celebrate my boy friend’s birthday at Bennelong. The location was great - just in opera house (but you need to get in from the ground floor not from the stairs outside). The gentleman at the front desk was super welcoming but it took a while for us to be seated. All the food came really slow and took forever to get the bill in the end. But I guess it’s vivid Sydney time so the kitchen was under quite lot of pressure?
I like the turnip salad, multiple layers of taste and very refreshing but I won’t recommend the xo squid because the fried eggplant has a strong taste that almost took away the focus on the squid. Confit duck with sausage was quite nice - I like the tenderness. Pavlova has a better look than the taste.
Overall a nice restaurant with great location/view and a fair price considering the higher inflation recently.

Friendly, impeccable service. Amazing location in the Sydney Opera House with views of harbour. Delicious courses with beautiful flavor and presentation. Can’t fault the entree and main courses, Desserts very artistic although could improve on taste. Definitely recommend!
My partner surprised me here for my birthday and it was a fantastic experience. We’re huge fans of Quay so our expectations were really high for this place and they were certainly met. The food and drinks were impeccable and the service staff were very attentive and went out of their way to make us feel special. I had a little cupcake and candle just before dessert which was very cute. Will definitely come back here again if we want to celebrate a special occasion!
