Man Bo Restaurant

Ordered takeaway a few times over the years, which has always been great. We dined in with 8 of us for dinner and got a differing range of food to share. Everything was amazing, could not fault it. Very happy and will be back again sooner rather than later.

We ordered the first tofu dish without knowing it was extremely spicy. It was a bit of a let down since it is one of the more expensive veggie dishes and we couldn’t eat. I’m sure this has happened to many people since there is no warning on the menu or by the staff. The food was mediocre at best, I could tell that not as much attention and detail is paid to the veggie section on the menu. Was disappointed by this. The staff were great and the restaurant was very beautiful. I wouldn’t go back, once was enough.

I have visited this restaurant on a number of occasions and normally great service and great food. The meal this evening took a long time to be served and the rice was very dry as if it had been scraped out the bottom of the bowl. I had a lot better meal from the food court last week. When l paid the bill the senior staff member just laughed and said that we will need to cook it longer next time

Must admit it was several years ago since we last visited this restaurant and what a massive change in service, food quality and atmosphere. We really liked it; ordered the ‘old favourites’ banquet and it was really good. We aren’t massive eaters but still didn’t think we’d take 3 containers home with us. Food never required any additional condiments - it was on point. Kids rated it up there with The 8 in Sydney. Who would’ve known ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nice place for a quiet dinner. The decor and environment are unique with the golden roof. We sat in a booth, and it was very intimate.

Staff are friendly, particularly one lady with a nose piercing who was great value.

Food was not oily and very tasty.

Sadly the fried rice was wet and mushy. The vegetarian hot pot lacked variety of ingredients. The deep fried mushrooms were very nice though. The mocktails were excellent. The foie gras was very very small for the price. Service was friendly but an order was missed.
