By far the best Chinese food in the area. San choy bow, satay chicken and chicken wings are phenomenal
Sizzling steak and fry rice are nice.My local Chinese food. Staffs r friendly.
Honey king prawns are the best here! Beautiful service and beautiful food!
I had dinner with my family.
I love Laksa. This is best in Perth.
Other food were sooo good.
My kids love sweet sour pork.
Staffa were soo friendly as well.
Definitely will be back soon.
Ordered Honey chicken, Mongolian beef and special fried rice, the beef was tough, the chicken was dry and over cooked and the rice was hardly fried rice very poor.
Overall very poor meal.
First time trying this local Chinese restaurant. I found a stone/rock in my chicken dish - I almost chipped my tooth biting into it! The prawn chips were super stale and the dishes lacked flavour. I won’t be back.
Poor service. Very rude waitress. We booked a table for 8 at 6:30. Everyone arrived at 6:40. The waitress called us to make the order asap as we must handover the table at 8pm. We said please give us a second, let’s discuss first. 5 minutes later, she disturbed our conversation again and said you guys keep talking until what time? Why don’t you make an order now?
She killed our mood, the dinner was unpleasant. Despite the food were not bad, but not very yummy comparing with Chinese restaurants with similar price, the restaurant was extremely noisy.
If you wanna have a quarrel with someone, then go to this restaurant!
Great for tasty reasonably priced lunch!
The food used to be really good but the last 2 meals I've had from here have been average or below. Chicken and sweet corn soup and braised dishes both have the consistency of slime and no flavour at all.
Disappointing as we have been regular customers for years
Great food with great service best Chinese Take out in Nerang hands down

Delicious Australian Cantonese dishes. Have been going to them before they moved for about 8 years now. They are a bit pricey but you get exactly what you order, which is rare these.
It's not really a dine in place, take away only but the food was good. Special fried rice that was actually fried not just white rice with a few vegetables added. Schezuan chicken was properly spicy with crispy vegetables that had a slightly wok charred flavour. Black bean beef had plenty of flavour. Only criticism is the portions should be a bit larger for the price.

Title: Disappointing Experience with Undercooked Chicken

I recently visited House of Lee with high hopes for a delicious meal. While the lamb and fried rice were enjoyable, my experience was marred by the undercooked chicken dish that was served to me.

Upon realizing that the chicken was pink and not fully cooked, I brought it to the attention of the staff. To my surprise, the owner's response was to offer to microwave the dish. Needless to say, I declined this offer, as it is not an acceptable solution for undercooked food. Instead, I requested a replacement dish, but was met with resistance when they insisted on charging me for the original chicken dish.

This lack of understanding and refusal to accept negative feedback left a sour taste in my mouth. As a customer, I believe it is important for restaurant owners to value and appreciate both positive and negative feedback. It is through constructive criticism that improvements can be made.

While the lamb and fried rice were enjoyable, the overall experience here was disappointing. I will not be returning in the future, and I hope that the owner takes this feedback to heart and learns to handle negative feedback with the same level of professionalism as they do positive feedback.
My girlfriend’s family have been going to this place for 20+ year. Had my first experience today and it was amazing. Great food and friendly staff.

Amazing, delicious and piping hot Chinese food. We don't get this very often despite having driven past here and living close by for decades. But it has to be doing something right in order to survive for so long! When we picked up our order we were pleasantly surprised with the free bag of prawn chips, and by the time we drove out of the car park what was empty a few minutes earlier was practically full! Will definitely order again and hopefully soon!
I did not rate atmosphere as we did take away.
It was one of the highlights on our SA cruise. We haven't had any decent Cantonese food while we were on board the Queen Elizabeth. We were missing our favourite Yum Cha and craved for Yum Cha. This restaurant provides the typical Hong Kong style Yum Cha Dim Sums and made us feel at home.
We came back again because aside from the delicious food, the staff are very nice people who were kind to allow us to sit outside with our Poodle.
My #1 Chinese restaurant. Love the food. It's all delicious!
One of the better Chinese restaurants we have visited.

The prices are reasonable. The servings are huge and the quality of the ingredient are good by our standard.

The staff are attentive even though the restaurant was almost full the evening we were there.
Nice food, good portion with reasonable price. Get a free dish when total order is over $70

Food Is always so yummy! And service so welcoming
I saw a lot of good reviews, maybe it’s not suitable for food delivery. Very unpalatable and difficult to swallow. It cost 130 Australian dollars for four dishes and was very disappointing. Like another reviewer said there was a lot of cornstarch added and it looked like thick snot. Never posted a negative review this is the first time
Very average food. Meat was chewy and not much of it. Bulked up with lots of onion. Not much room between tables and very noisy. Decor is old fashioned and table legs get in your way and make sitting uncomfortable. Tried it once and would not go again. Staff were very friendly, could not fault them there.
Great food at reasonable prices
Very tasty and large serves, never disappoints.
This place, just up the road, is such a hidden gem! If only I had known how delicious their food is, I would have started coming here ages ago. I've been ordering meals here almost every weekend, trying out everything on their menu, and I've been pleasantly surprised every time.
Really nice food with reasonable size. I gave 'Service' 3 stars. It should be 3.5 stars.
Excellent option for yumcha. It's a very popular place so I recommend booking, or get there before they open so you can be first in line when they do open.
Not much is open on a Sunday in this area for the record.
They serve authentic Chinese dimsim / yumcha. It was excellent quality. The service is efficient but not very personal. Some waiters don't seem to understand English also.
I should’ve read the recent reviews from a month ago. All the food was so bland and all the meats were marinated in cornflour and felt like we were eating plastic. The sauces were all just oyster sauce based, thick and starchy and the chicken dish was overpowered with cooking wine. This would have to be the worst Chinese food I’ve had from a restaurant. Not sure why because it used to be not too bad. I literally couldn’t eat any of the dishes even tho I was really hungry. Really disappointed and won’t be returning. Will stick with the hawkers restaurant adjacent which is always consistent and tasty.
A very scrumptious yum cha in Adelaide! The siew mai is simply one of the best I've tasted so far. Very authentic Hong Kong style dim sum.
super quick service in & out for pick up
sad interior but the food unreal i got the prawn omelette omg delish and heaps of prawns will get again
One of the best Chinese places I’ve ever had, love your fried rice. I’ll be back!!!
The taste of the Ice Kacang was not bad. Cheers! (2023-10)

We were looking for a family-friendly Chinese place to eat in and we found this place. This place was truly amazing! We had a range of options and we only waited for our food for around 2-5 mins. The view we had was completely amazing and it was very relaxing and chill. The layout of the restaurant is very calming and nice. The food was completely amazing! It felt very authentic and it was really good. If you ware looking for a nice, calm, middle-priced, Chinese restaurant, Yum Sing is the way to go!
We come here regularly for yum cha which is great quality. Main dishes are generous in size. Steamed buns are also very delicious. Service is always great although some waiters are a little keen to take plates away when we're not finished with the dish. Other than that, the place is always packed and is probably one of the busiest and best authentic Chinese restaurants in Adelaide.
Ordered sweet and sour pork and char kwey teow. Both are very yummy, but the sauce for the sweet and sour was very runny, i prefer a thicker sauce, kwey teu had the char but slightly oily for my liking. Ice cendol was also good, order with less sugar as it is extremely sweet
Food is very delicious, cooked so well and fresh. The favourites are the crab, lobster and eel dishes. Pork and chicken also always nice. This is a place that I go quite frequently to celebrate special occasions with family and friends. Highly recommended.
My goodness me, did I roll out of there, of course I did. The waiter, Love , Love, Loved him. Excellent knowledge of the food. And it just kept coming. Didn't eat for a day after that and that's unusual for me. Lol!
One of my favourite Chinese restaurants in Sydney. This restaurant is really understated, the size of a converted house. The chef consistently cooks high quality food with fresh seasonal ingredients. Seafood and vegetables dishes are both fresh and delicious, better than most Chinese restaurants. It’s a small family business so they don’t offer a big variety, but it’s a place I would keep going back.

Late night out with the guys, decided to eat out. So glad we chose this restaurant. The food tasted amazing and you could really taste the work hay in their dishes. Super nice Asian lady running the restaurant, complementary sporks and napkins. All around a fantastic experience 10/10 would recommend.

Please note there is no in restaurant dining, we got take-out
Take away order and everything was absolutely fantastic. $112 for 2 x entry's, 2 x rice dishes, 4 x meat dishes and 1 x vegetables for 4 people oh and free prawn crackers , more than half is left for lunch tomorrow. It arrived home still hot and vegetables were fresh. If I could give more than 5 stars I would and on a busy Friday night 😊😊😊
Really great quality chinese food. I came here with my family on a Friday night with a booking to be safe. The restaurant was booked and busy. Seafood was fresh and service is friendly, would come here again 😀
Of the 3 chinese restaurants weve tried in Nerang this one was the best so far. Staff friendly. Could maybe add a few little prawns and some veges to the special fried rice but otherwise quite nice
Always friendly service. Food is good. Just a little pricey.
Tasty food, fresh ingredients.not a big place but still able to fit in 10 people in one table. Authentic chinese(cantonese) food
Compact cozy with jam packed crowded confused staff scenes however only add to the fact how popular and good their food is, fresh authentic flavorful Chinese food. Even though is a bit pricey it accounts for their quality and generous portions. Definitely a great eats
If you're in search of a bustling, traditional Chinese restaurant offering hearty dishes, look no further than Yum Sing in Reynella. This was exactly the experience my companions and I had when we decided to stop by for dinner.

Upon entering, we were greeted by a warm, welcoming ambiance. The place was buzzing with families and groups, a testament to its popularity among locals.

Starting with the Chicken and Sweet Corn Soup, it was a delightfully comforting experience. Generous chunks of chicken swimming in a tasty broth set a high standard for the dishes to follow. The Singapore Noodles, full of flavor, and the well-prepared fried rice, did not disappoint.

The main course featured the Roast Duck in Plum Sauce and the generously portioned Satay Chicken. Both dishes proved to be as satisfying as they sound, with the roast duck standing out with its tasteful sauce and tender meat.

For dessert, the deep-fried ice cream and sticky date pudding offered a delightful finish. The combination of hot and cold in the ice cream was pleasantly surprising, and the sticky date pudding hit the sweet spot perfectly.

What stood out, apart from the food, was the efficient and friendly service. Despite the hustle and bustle, the staff ensured we were well attended to.

As for the pricing, it was reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the dishes. This isn't a fine dining venue, but it certainly stands as a great option for families looking for a satisfying meal without breaking the bank.

Overall, I'd rate Yum Sing at a strong 7.5 out of 10. It may not be a destination restaurant, but if you find yourself in the area, it's well worth a visit for its wholesome dishes and welcoming ambiance.

Recently dined at Bamboo due to supposed good ratings, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired.
Firstly, despite being told that certain tables were reserved, it became apparent throughout our entire dinner that these tables remained unoccupied. We were initially denied a table we wanted, only to find ourselves squeezed into a cramped space that hindered our dining experience.

Food-The nasi lemak curry chicken dish was a major letdown.
The meat/curry portion of it consisted of a measly chicken wing and two minuscule pieces of potatoes, leaving us feeling underwhelmed and overcharged. The lack of substantial ingredients, coupled with the high price, made it difficult to justify the value.
Additionally, I found it disappointing that the restaurant did not offer complimentary water, unlike many other establishments. Instead, patrons were forced to purchase drinks, leaving us feeling compelled to spend more money if we were even slightly thirsty.
My first and last time eating from Asian Court. The san cho bow was semi ok except we got a tablespoon worth in each serve. The special fried rice was completely flavourless, over cooked boiled rice with a few cubes of spam and some peas, no joke. Every single dish we got looked exactly the same! I’ve definitely had enough zucchini, carrots, and cauliflower. Every dish was bland, boring, same same, the rice probably ruined the rest by making it tasteless. No love, no thought, no effort went in to the food they served. Very disappointing.
Friendly owner, tasty food, reasonable price

Came in on a public holiday, no trade in restaurant, lots of people doing takeout.
Wonton Soup had excellent broth, prawn and asparagus soup was good flavour and texture, Chicken Satay was very popular with kids. Prawns with veggies on sizzle plate, terrific, Chicken Singapore Noodles smelled, looked and tasted great, washed down with a juice, Riesling by glass and so jasmine tea!!
It is one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area. Spectacular quality of food brought out very quickly. Wonderful service, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food tasted so delicious, it was very fresh. Definitely recommend coming here. It's a little more expensive, but it's worth it for the incredible quality and flavour. I will come back again soon
I wonder why this restaurant still not close down???
One of my friend recommended this place and told me that speak with them in Chinese and will get the authentic Chinese food. And turn out was a terrible experience. Order 2 main dishes and 1 entree cost $74, took about half hour just for two stir fried dishes to come. And no customer in the restaurant.
The restaurant whole night was empty and I feel sad for them. Only few take away people and why they still can survive all these years.
Expensive food and terrible service feel like they don't even put any effort on their business.
Don't recommend this place they will rip you off. I was regret to try this place. 👎👎👎
Clean food was very fresh and very polite I will go back again and tell my friends and very reasonable

Not a bad place.
Food is what you can expect from any good Chinese restaurant, the place could do with a little update I think, tables, settings and pichures on the walls are dated.
Service is excellent, waiters are well attentive and very polite.
A key feature of this place is the beautiful glass windows that run all the way around the dining area, while the view of the intersection isn't much in the rain as the sun went down it was very nice and I very much enjoyed it.
Satay chicken was by far a favourite and they actually sell their mix of it out front.

Blue ocean has fantastic dishes. The plates are large and the prices are affordable.
I recommend going around lunch time. Lunchtime the restaurant is very enjoyable and you can relax. There is also special lunchtime pricing, with some dishes being just $10.80 per dish. I also recommend getting the tea for $1 and just relax and enjoy life for a bit.

While the food and pricing is great, and better then many other Chinese places I have been to, I find that for dinner on every night that I have been, the restaurant gets extremely packed, and insanely noisy from other guests (not the restaurant fault). But you are not able to talk to people next to you without essentially screaming.
I would recommend calling ahead for dinner to confirm they have availability.
Food was extremely nice and we did not have to wait long, friendly staff and good prices
Ordered pick up and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes arrived to get our meal and was told it was nearly ready and made payment of $120. After waiting another 20 minutes I enquired were are meal was and was told one of the dishes had not been started yet. The counter staff said just take what was ready no refund on the food that wasn't ready no apology. The other issue, because I had to wait around I watched a staff member making spring rolls. No gloves, no washing of hands she even wiped her nose while making the spring rolls on top of a newspaper not very hygienic. So we lost $120 and didn't get our food. Complete rip off.

We went here to dine last night an hour before closing. They accommodated us nicely.

We ordered combi laksa and pork spare ribs and really tasted good.

The spiciness of the combi laksa is just right. Highly recommended. We'll definitely come back here to try their other dishes.
The food was incredibly yummy. I really love the kway teow and wonton soup! The service was also great, even though I thought they were understaff at the time I came. It was very busy, yet the food was still served with best quality. Highly recommended 😃
This was the only Chinese open in the area on a Sunday. The Golden Pav on Blamey was closed and so was Blue Ocean. Went to try it and got a take away. The positive, portions are good, big and a lot, service was good considering it's a busy place this Sunday evening prob cos the only Chinese open. The schezuan beef, nice, soft tender beef slices and nice sauce, a bit of heat but not much. A must try. The Choy sum with Oyster sauce was nice but I found the sauce salty, but veg nice and crunchy. I only put a small amount of the veg sauce in my rice but we enjoyed the veg itself. The prawn toast was just okay, nothing to brag about, quite oily, prob better when dining in. The crispy chicken fillets in a special sauce... SKIP IT! DO NOT GET CRISPY CHICKEN FILLETS IN SPECIAL SAUCE, the sauce is the sweet sauce they use to dip spring rolls and prawn toast, the one for dipping not drowning. It's not special at all!! It was sickly sweet. I only picked the top and couldn't eat it after. I felt icky sick from the sweetness. Like, imagine your spring rolls or prawn toast drowning in the side sauce. Yes! That's what it was like. Not nice, right?! They need to take that out of the menu or actually make a special, different sauce not just add cornstarch and call it special. I reckon it would have been better without it or just give the so called 'special sauce' on the side and let us enjoy the crispy chicken. Errrr...possibly a new chef would make this place good/better?... Total damage $75 for 2, for entree and 2 mains and rice.
Haven’t been here since they renovated. Had very good and fond memories of this place especially their horfun which used to be very good and their Hainanese chicken Laksa.

Ordered their horfun and their Hainanese chicken Laksa. The Laksa taste was still like what it used to be but the Hainanese chicken is more like poached chicken strips. Their horfun had no wokhei taste whatsoever. All I could assume or guess is that the chef must have changed.

Had their drinks and ice kachang and must say their drinks and desserts taste better then their food.

Can’t really recommend this place as their food is pretty average. Although their food is pretty good value but their taste doesn’t hit the spot like it used to so it’s a no from me…
Awesome food and surprisingly you can ask for Veggie options and they will prepare it for you!!!

Quality was excellent and so was taste!!

But be careful, if you not a meat eater -- don't mistake complementary crackers for normal ones, they are of Prawns 😂

Ambience is good! Service is very neat and friendly staff!!

Go for it for authenticate Chinese cuisine!!

And yes, Price is reasonable too!!!!

A positive first, the staff were very pleasant. Unfortunately, this place is NOT value for money. We only ordered three take away mains and it cost us over $50, but the portions were so small! The Szechuan beef was super sweet with no spice and there was barely any in the container (see photo), satay chicken was watery, and the sweet and sour pork had batter so thick it wasn't cooked through.
Definitely not great. Steamed rice was grey and dry, like it had been reheated in the microwave not fresh. Dishes were mostly fill ingredients, less than 10% meat in a satay beef if that, was mostly onion and cauliflower, similar for other dishes. Overcooked oily spring rolls. Kway Teow was the best dish we had out of many sadly. Flaming Wok used to be great in the past, when they had dine-in previously we had eaten there several times, and the takeaway was always good. Not so now, expensive and poor food. The price I don't mind for good quality, it's sometimes worth paying for quality, but this was not quality.
Great tasting food at a fantastic price, and fast meal preparation. I have only given 3 stars for atmosphere as it is not really a restaurant but somewhere to sit down and enjoy your meal. I prefer to sit down than have take away, but the constant flow of happy customers shows how popular Mayview Chinese restaurant really is for take away food.
Finding a good Chinese restaurant can be tricky, but not if you are travelling down Warringah Road towards Brookvale and looking for a lovely tasting meal at a nice price.
Authentic Chinese cuisine served fresh, reasonably priced with generous servings!
A pleasant family run business that's been around for decades. The restaurant is small and quaint ideal for private functions. It does get busy on the weekends as it has a good local following so get in early.
The place has redeemed itself and come really good! The service was very fast and the food was on point and authentic.

Awesome food, the satay sauce is next level good. Dined in for dinner, the place was super busy but service was very attentive and fast. Honestly, it seems petty, but the only let down was the constant (and I mean constant) ringing of the bell from the kitchen. Prawn crackers on arrival was a nice touch.
Boneless Lemon Chicken
It is burnt, Cant find any chicken

Short Soup was almost inedible

Special fried rice was just rice

All other dishes had way to much SALT

NOT HAPPY WITH ANY DISH ORDERED
Don’t waste your money - I have never posted a bad review before however i received my order that was stone cold the spring rolls had been in the paper for that long they had sweated through the paper and fell into the plastic bag. I ordered a soft egg king prawn omelette, what arrived was not what I order not sure what it was it was cold and soggy. The fried rice had so much oil there was a pool of oil about an inch on the bottom off the container which was cold as well. I though okay maybe a busy night (for a Monday) heated it up and then later I wished I didn’t both myself and my son vomited all evening!! Great meal thanks also the food took 90 minutes to arrive 😩
Maybe it was my taste, rather than the restaurant, but the meal was not great. Spring tolls had chicken and an odd meat (spam?) in, usually just expect crispy veg. The sweet and sour pork, sauce was fine, but expected crispy batter, was not so and an odd flavour to the pork. It was a take away, do not judgement on staff or venue. Don’t want to be too harsh, but not my best.
Food here is pretty good and served quickly after ordering. Portions for the dishes are also generous. Staff are friendly and polite however they did not fill up the tea pots as regularly. The table arrangement felt a bit cramped but it was lucky that diners were spaced out. Overall still an enjoyable evening.
Decided on having chinese takeaway for the first time in years. Ordered wontons, curry puffs (vegetarian), sweet n sour pork, garlic vegetables and special fried rice.. Highlight of the meal was the garlic vegetables which got them at extra star. Got meat curry puffs instead of vegetarian. Sweet n sour sauce wasn't mixed with the pork, it was a side sauce. Further more it had 1 peice of onion and two token pieces of pineapple in the sauce. Wontons were just battered pieces of not sure what. Special fried rice was severely lacking the "special" element. All in all very disappointing and won't be back.
Spacious, long standing Chinese restaurant business, good for dine in, with the best tables near the floor to ceiling windows, or take advantage of the takeaway Menu. Kitchen closes at 2.00pm at lunchtime, when Dining In so when making a booking best to make your booking no later than 1.15pm
Our family tried them out last night, most places are not open on Monday night. I’m very fussy and I would have to say the food is excellent. We will definitely order pick up from here again.
The food at Blue Ocean Restaurant is always so delicious and always hits the spot! My family always enjoys coming here for a big family dinner or get-together as the staff are always so welcoming and friendly. The food is so great and if you ask, they can accomodate for you and make some changes with certain dishes (such as changing the type of noodle they use etc).
Our new favourite. True to its name, this Bamboo restaurant serves authentic Singaporean dishes for good price. Their Food is tasty with generous serving, service is pretty fast and place is clean. We dont usually book but if you plan to come in big group, it’s better to make early reservation to avoid disappointment. Location is great with easy parking.

One of the best local Chinese spots! Great flavours, generous portions, and a menu brimming with classic dishes. One of the nicest Mongolian Lambs we've ever had! Definitely coming back for more when we're in the mood for a good Chinese meal. Thank you!
• It is easy to spot.
• There are many tables inside but quickly full up around dinner time. So if you go with a group, better reserve.
• The service is quite efficient. At least they tell you how long you have to wait for your (first) dishes to be served.
• Personally, prices are reasonable with their serving portions.
• Food tastes good actually. However, as this is a Chinese restaurant, it is expected to be bit oily.
• Cash definitely preferred, but card is acceptable too (occasionally I suppose, just need to add extra 5% on the bill).
• With takeaway orders, I have ordered seafood noodles. One tasted amazing, another tasted much less. However, seafood orders should be only paid by cash.
Had a few dishes tonight. Unsure how this has over 4 stars, close to the worst chinese food I've ever had. Fried rice had a burnt taste, honey chicken over cooked and just tasted oily and the beef and veggie dish was basically veggies id say maybe 5 super thinly slices beef strips in the whole container. Only thing that tasted decent was the veggies. Very disappointed definitely better chinese around the area that taste good.
Really good food, nice casual atmosphere, friendly staff. Seriously recommend you try them, we didn't have a single complaint.

Great service and amazing food! I love that the prices the staff here charge are reasonable and that you get great servings of food for great prices! I also love how friendly and professional the staff are. I definitely recommend this place.
A$ 75.- Disappointment.
I have had allot of average to bad duck dishes but rarely uneatable ones well here is one it must have bin reheated a few times or god knows.
I Do not know how the food is at the restaurant but delivered, well judge for your self .
I have been a customer to this shop since I moved to the area over 9 years ago. The food is top quality and reasonably priced. Lunch times, the cook is running the shop mostly by himself, which is admirable. Other people who complain about the cooking times should give them a break, you try running this place by yourself. Call me biased but this place will not let you down with the food quality.
Ordered online through MenuLog and it said my food would take 1 hour and a half to come. It was late so I called and the woman was very rude and abrupt and said the food would take another hour because they were too busy. I understand restaurants get busy but if you can’t cook my food or deliver it in time you shouldn’t of accepted my order and I would’ve happily gone elsewhere.
It's a delicious meal! but! Not authentic Chinese taste!
It's our other Chinese takeaway shop. The food is tasty and plenty to choose from! I recommend their peppered steak fillet! Price wise, well, around the $12 - 15 for most chicken, beef and pork dishes, higher for seafood. For our family of three, we'd spend around $40 for dinner. The lady at the counter is very friendly. I think she'd recognise me by now. The restaurant has seating inside, though a little bit narrow. Parking is a breeze.
Interior is well decorated with a Chinese style. The food is not bad and the takeaways are cheaper than dine in. We had takeaways and it was still warm when we got home. We've had better sweet and sour pork but the honey chicken is nice.
Overall, a good place to get your Chinese quick fix in Bullcreek area.

Excellent food with very nice and friendly staff, very reasonably priced with some wonderful selections, excellent old school Chinese restaurant decor inside, food came very quickly and was delicious, family friendly with kids utensils available and booster seats also available, plenty of street parking nearby overall a nice restaurant
We ordered special fried rice, curry beef, Mongolian beef, satay chicken, chicken omelete and salt and pepper squid. All tasted very nice - only criticisms: servings are half the size of somewhere like Shelley Hub and the satay chicken had more onion than chicken in it.
Great quality Aussie style Chinese cuisine and a premium take away. Inside the restaurant is very small and is a little overshadowed by their great take away business. Still I love to drop in for a meal and there is a nearby bottle shop where you can pick up a cold bottle to bring to the table.
Excellent and authentic Malaysian/Singaporean cuisine. They have fried carrot cake with bean sprouts (very yummy), laksa was ok, their fried rice (I tried both beef and seafood) were excellent, tahu goreng wasn’t impressive it was more like tahu with satay sauce and fried udon was ok. Spacious place but old. General cleanliness can improved. I don’t mean the food or utensils are unclean or the place is ounhygienic, I had no issues with the food at all. It is just that for an old place, it is expected, you will notice there is dust accumulated at cashier area, chairs are old and decorations are dated. I frequent this place for good food at a good price :)
Tasty food and very nice staff. Fried rice was good as well as the shrimps. Decoration were kind old school but I really liked it. Feels like home :)
Cantonese restaurant. Good taste. Great idea to heating the first dish. Higher price of dine in than take out.
