Lawrence Park Medical

My doctor retired and I applied to get on with the new doctors. Unfortunately, they told me they were full. So I spent close to 4 years looking for someone new.

I finally found someone in my ninth month of pregnancy and I've discovered two things.

1. the level of care I received when I was there was not good. A lot of things were missed. For example. there were some preventative tests I should have had due to my medical history that were never recommended.

2. Now Lawrence Park Medical is holding my records until I pay them $50 (industry standard is between $20-30).

I'm extremely disappointed. They ended their (not good) services with me and now they expect me pay above the average rate. On top of it, they will only except cash (I find that very suspicious) or cheque. Who uses cheque anymore? So now that I'm nine months pregnant I have to take a day off work and waddle over to their office to deal with this.

Extremely disappointed. Would not recommend.
