Best tour in New Orleans. Very informative on its history. Some of the oldest buildings in America. Very pleasant staff.

Only 4 stars because I couldn't go to the 3rd floor. Our guide was very informative and knowledgeable. She gets 5 stars!

Very nice church/museum to visit the guild is super knowledgeable. Make sure to go to their website for hours and days open.

Our guide was so fun and knowledgeable (“there are no vampires in our attic!”) Haha! If you know, you know! I loved hearing the stories and looking at the artifacts and being amazed at the journey of these nuns coming across the ocean after being sent by King Louis; I felt my own faith being reconfirmed! But definitely don’t think you need to be a Catholic to thoroughly enjoy this building, the last vestige of French Colonial architecture since the rest of the city burned. Why did the wind shift after a nun put her holy candle in the window? Was it a miracle? Come take the tour and decide for yourself! You will also see a relic; a piece of a bone from a saint. For all the ghost and vampire tours in this city, seeing real pieces of bone from a saint is more out of the ordinary bang for your buck imo. You’ll also learn about the iconography of tombstone symbols, the day a swimming pool was built over one of the oldest graveyards, and a clock that survived the Galveston hurricane of 1900 and is still in perfect working order. I filled my days with all sorts of tours during my trip to NOLA, and this one was definitely a highlight!

Mr. Martin let an incredible tour. I didn't just learn about the building and the history of the Catholic Church in New Orleans, but I learned so much about New Orleans itself. I really really loved this tour and id highly recommend it. It really makes you think about the history and the people more and adds a lot of gravity to the streets you get to walk on.

Absolutely a must visit. The convent and church are stunning; everything in their collection is well labeled and vast in both historical and religious significance. Our guide Tom was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable and had so much to share on how the convent and the nuns played a role in New Orleans history. We were also given as much time as we needed after the tour to look at everything closer, which was appreciated. My partner and I left incredibly impressed!

We have lived in this area all of our lives but had never toured the Old Ursulines Convent. We went this morning and it was even better than imagined. This is the oldest structure in the Mississippi Valley, steeped in history and absolutely lovely. Beautiful grounds and church. The tour is extremely interesting and informative. A must do in the French Quarter if you can.
