They keep putting people with the worst behavioral issues in nice communities with working individuals and families. I'm all for community integration but these clients have co dependent disorders. Behavioral issues and substance abuse. They need to house these people in their own facilities instead of community. I'm sure they management are substance users too.

This program has a lot of unprofessional, unorganized group of case workers who do not stand on what they say when it comes to meeting the client's housing needs. I would not recommend this program even to another black person coming from another state fr 💯

Had I knew years ago. I would not have came to this program. My family has experience so many traumas and Community connections have not been a support. I've asked for and emergency move in April and its now December. There is not therapy for my kids and I. And no real case management. Be careful when housing give you a project based vocher smh

I have been trying to reach Community Connections for weeks now in relation to a product. I've left messages on various voicemails, the central voicemail service, I've left emails to a number of employees, and I've tried to be routed through the operator to no avail (I can never get through to the operator, billing, or any other service). I finally ordered the product without getting in touch with anyone, and now I can't get a hold of them to discuss my order. This has been, by far, the most frustrating experience I have ever had in ordering a clinical product from any distributor.

This organization reeks of fraud. They are stealing from clients. All these reviews with five stars are from employees and clients that got gift cards for making a five star review. DC needs to investigate ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This place needs an audit done. If an audit was to be done they would no longer exist!!!!!!!!! If you are thinking about donating to this organization- don’t do it! If you are thinking about working for them- don’t do it. Seriously- do not affiliate yourself with this organization at all! The supervisors and directors change the notes at the end of the month to reflect services rendered just to meet billing so they can get money! This is a janky organization with supervisors and directors who are committing fraud and stealing from clients!!!!!

This was the WORST experience with a mental health provider I've ever had. I was relieved to find a clinic that took Medicaid because I was desperately in need of a psychiatrist for ongoing medication management. When I started with the nurse practitioner, things were going well and I really thought we connected and that she wasn't just another pill-pusher. However, no one told me that she was only available Thursdays and Fridays (not even full days most of the time) and that there was NO back up support at all for emergencies. I was hospitalized and could not get anyone there to help me-- the doctors at GW and I called her and the clinic several times over several days. No one escalated my request even though it was clearly an emergency. No one was able to support me and so I had to wait until she was back "online" nearly a week later. Both the nurse and clinic were defensive and offered weak apologies. Furthermore, the nurse was extremely rude in our final call and acted like we had not previously talked about refilling the meds that I was put on in the hospital-- in fact, she had never offered any good solutions in the 5+ weeks I worked with her besides putting me on yet another Rx that did nothing (I had made it clear that I was very unhappy with being on so many meds to begin with, that weren't doing a good job managing my bipolar II disorder). I understand how much pressure mental health services are under, especially during COVID. But this experience made my anxiety and stress so much worse, and Community Connections should be held accountable for their extremely poor level of care. If you can possibly avoid them, do so.

Small Landlords: DO NOT work with this organization. It’s likely they will provide you with a tenant that isn’t able to properly take care of your property or themselves, commits multiple lease violations, and harasses the community. They are only responsible for placing the individual in a home and WILL NOT find alternate living accommodations for the tenant unless the tenant is evicted. This is counterproductive of one of their goals, which is to prevent homelessness. Although they do provide mental health services, the tenant can decline and you will be left to deal with the fallback; in our case an unruly tenant with MULTIPLE VISITS FROM LAW ENFORCEMENT. I can only speak on our encounters, but working with Community Connections has been a nightmare.
