Disappointed with Catering services. Certain dishes in demand are not stocked up fully, resulting in some guests being deprived.

Eg for kababs, if the guests are 60, the stock should be minimum 4 per person.

Due to this reason, we won't be returning to this convention center in near future.
Hi Sereen,

I just wanted to thank you for organising Anant’s birthday party on the 7th of September 2024.

Everything was wonderful – the setup, the facilities, and the overall atmosphere.
My guests were thoroughly impressed, especially with the food, which was absolutely amazing!

My wife is still raving about the kheer and can’t stop talking about it.
Thank you so much again!
The venue is beautiful, however the management is below garbage. It's embarrassing to see how unprofessional the management is, to the point where we decided to cancel our event with them.

Its frustrating when you have to chase down the owner for every little thing, and he still decides to ignore you.

Do yourself a favor, save the headache and book with a venue that cares and will get back to you promptly, no customer needs that.

-5/10
Beautiful place to have a party.... elegant decor, good service, especially the dance floor was very appropriate....all the guests could easily watch the dance items...

Excellent hotel 🏨 food at the Pottery restaurant is excellent 💖 carpets in room really need to be changed. Excellent toiletries. Front of hotel needs some floral landscaping 5 excellent hot tubs. Newly renovated lobby is very nice. Linens were very clean. Having alcohol wipe to clean remote nice touch. Nice pool chairs. Nice tennis court. Towels clean. Would definitely stay again

Loved it. Hidden gem to get the Muskoka experience in a convenient family friendly package. The amenities are amazing if you have kids. The surroundings of the resort are beautiful. The rooms are great (the resort could use a little TLC but it’s not an issue). Loved that it was super dog friendly. Staff was willing to help with small things when needed which was good customer service. We tried the dining and it was solid (though a bit pricey, especially for drinks). Will return next year!

The grounds are beautiful, and the staff is helpful; however, there are several concerns:

- Management Issues: It seems management is indifferent to guest experiences. Our fire alarm went off twice—once at 4:00 AM and again at 4:30 AM—without any apparent reason. This disrupted our sleep and ruined the next day. All we received was a simple "sorry" from the receptionist, and when I contacted management, there was no response.
- Dining Experience: The food at the restaurant is below average and overpriced. With limited dining options nearby and no stove in the room, it’s disappointing. Additionally, the service at the golf restaurant is incredibly slow—we waited an hour for our food and another 45 minutes just for the bill.
- Limited Seating: Seating is quite limited, especially when the weather is nice. The chairs at the dock are usually filled early in the morning, making it difficult to find a spot.
- Wildlife Warning: Although not the resort's fault, it's worth noting that there are a couple of black bears roaming around the property. If you're planning to go for a run or hike, be cautious.
Great ambiance, amazing looking hall - I was stunned by the high ceilings and general decor. I think it is a great place to hold any big gathering/party/wedding etc. My only knock was that the placement of the speakers meant our table was getting absolutely blasted by the sound waves.

Amazing and so much more than I expected. It was our first time at Rocky Crest and we travelled as a group of 3 families. It was ideal in that we had separate spaces yet all in the same building, with our own direct entries from outdoors. Beautiful views from our rooms and front patios. A sun room to hang and dry wet items. The level of renovation was perfect for us in that the washroom and sheets were clean and new. The rest of the room was older but comfortable and we were usually outside on the lake anyway. We did not anticipate spending as much time as we did on the lake! There was water activities for all ages and the camp fire at night satisfied any night owls. There always seemed to be enough extra life jackets, kayaks, paddle boards, canoes and paddle boats. We never had to wait for anything. Every staff member was warm and welcoming. We will definitely be back. Thank you Rocky Crest.

We booked this as a last-minute getaway with our teenage kids. The rooms are pretty basic but clean. Beds are comfortable. We didn't hear any noise from the adjoining rooms. Dog friendly. The resort is laid out very nicely, so you're never far from the water/restaurants. Staff are very helpful with basically anything you need. It's a beautiful spot, with a nice little beach, and rock face. Lots of "toys" for the kids, including kayaks, stand up paddle boards, giant water structures to play on. All this, and yet it still has a nice peaceful feel. Good for all ages.
Very recently, I had the opportunity to attend a wedding reception at this venue. To my evaluation, the venue is well located, food was really delicious. As far as the drawbacks are concerned, I would say that the Air Conditioning was not working well and the male washrooms are below the standard so far I have used washrooms in different convention and banquet halls in GTA in the last 10 years. One must check and obtain the guarantee from the authority that the washrooms will be useable before the final booking of the convention center.
I was here for a friend's Sister 60th Birthday Celebration.

This Hall is in the heart of Oshawa Downtown, It’s primarily for holding any kind of special events.

Limited parking space close to the hall but accessibility is very good.

Facilities were well maintained and sparkling clean.
We had our wedding here in June 2024. We are from Buffalo, NY. Dewinder was cool in the beginning. He showed us the venue and he was very welcoming in general. The venue was beautiful and sells itself. After some negotiation, we signed the contract. After signing the contract, it was FRUSTRATINGLY DIFFICULT to reach him. We are big planners and we had questions sometimes. No answer. Voicemail box full. No call back or text back. It seems to be a pattern among the other reviews.

A month before the wedding, we wanted to do a tasting and go over some details. We traveled from Buffalo so we could sit down with them (they agreed). After the tasting, we inquired to go over some things. There was an event going on, but we were willing to wait. They made it seem like they would not be sitting down with us AT ALL. We voiced our disappointment, and only then, Seema sat down with us at 9 PM.

The week of the wedding, and really the night before the wedding, is when they gave us their full attention. It was a complete 180. This seems to be their workflow. During breakfast, they ran out of fafda. During cocktail hour, they were still coming back from LCBO with non-alcoholic beer that we had written into the contract. They had promised lemonade and there was none (tequila lemonade is my go-to). They did not put enough dessert on the dessert table; left with crumbs.

Other than that, everything was seamless. We had a great wedding. The venue was gorgeous! The food was spicy, tasty, and delicious! Customer service (workers) was great. However, management and client interaction require serious attention. Additional event coordinators are needed since 2 is evidently not enough.
Hall itself was nice but service very slow after appetizer tables should be clear for dinner. No show i had to call server to clear table. Big hall only 3 washroom were so dirty walk in and out they were not even flush.people and hall management should be responsible. In the end management is at fault .ample parking. My opinion is if they work on there facilities which is human need hall is beautiful

Loved this resort. Right on the lakes. As well as the golf course there are plenty of outdoor water activities, also has a volleyball court, basketball court and 2 tennis courts. Brilliant for a "get away from it all" break and was very relaxing.
Really good for corporate events, weddings and other formal events. It's a big room. The venue is real clean and well kept.
It's a good recommendation for hosting proms, weddings, shows and more
Buddy golf trip every spring to this resort. The course is AWESOME. Same with both Grandview and Lake Joseph. Service is outstanding at all 3 places, but the rooms at the resort need to be updated. Still stuck in 1990.

We had a naturopathic consultation with Michelle for our pup. His liver and kidneys were failing. He had become so sick that our vet felt strongly that he should be euthanized. With round the clock care and the supplements that Michelle recommended, we were able to nurse him back to health. Four months later, our little 16yo old pupper is still puttering along happily. Michelle was empathic, detailed and thorough with her assessment and we will forever be thankful for her care.

Grooming, boarding, Health and Wellness...Woofur is amazing!
In the spring of 2019 Kashi wasn't at her best. She was overweight and had some health concerns. At one of our visits Michelle suggested that we visit a Holistic Vet that she recommended. In addition she suggested that we consider a raw diet. We followed Michelle's suggestions and with her help Kashi's health concerns were solved!
Fast forward to December 2022. A new set of Health concerns prompted us to contact Michelle. We scheduled an appointment with her. I'm happy to say that Michelle's recommendations resolved Kashi's health matters.
To sum it up. We are super thankful that we know Michelle. With Michelle in our lives, Kashi is living her best life! Thank you to Michelle, Doug, Zuleika, and the rest of the Woofur Markham team!

I’ve stayed here once in the past under my mom’s name in August 2022. The person at the front desk at the time was rude and dismissive. She made us wait so long on the side without giving us a reason while we watched the people behind us get taken after. She was an older lady with blonde hair.

Fast forward to 2024, my dad is a very hard working service technician (very skilled as well). He fixes and maintains the machines that they use at this hotel. He doesn’t talk about his job at home often but, I know he puts in 100% of his effort in everything he does.

My dad calls the manager explaining that there has been a delay in receiving the parts he needs to fix the machines. He says he won’t be able to fix it on time and lets them know he’ll return another day with the parts needed. The lady manager proceeds to yell at him and call him nasty names over the phone. Extremely unprofessional and very immature. To that manager: I hope you’re feeling better because I feel bad that you’re that miserable to rage on other people. I’m concerned for the people around you. I realized that people who are full of rage are just lonely so I’m happy my dad has family and friends that love him.

Whoever that manager was - truly, I hope you find love.

Otherwise, our stay was okay and the room was alright. Cheap and close enough to the village.

What can I say? I’ll let the pics speak for themselves. Been a long time since I had a double bed. No complaints on that though. It was comfy. But even a super 8 motel may have that accommodation. My real complaint was the room upkeep and cleanliness. On a very cursory view of the room I found a jelly bean and a Kleenex under the bed. And plenty of dust (I assume). For where the vacuum never travels over. All that said, the location is fine and 650metres to the main village which is lovely. About a 10 minute walk. But the hotel room is mediocre.

Please demo this place and build a quality hotel.
First: website search shows a spa with RMT massage available. Nope, closed but website not removed or updated.
Second: website search shows a gym. Nope, it’s there but website not updated to confirm it is now only available for staff.
Third: The actual building code requirements for proper sound attenuation requirements must never have been met with this build as you can actually make out a casual conversation in the adjacent room, word for word at a conversational level.
DO NOT EXPECT TO SLEEP.
We organized our Annual Diwali Party in November 2023. Anusha and her team were extremely pleasant to work with. They helped us with the best possible quote. The Helpers did a wonderful job through out the event duration - from refilling the food, to clearing out the plates in a timely manner.
The Package had Chafing Trays and setup, centre pieces, table Cloths, outliers, glasses..

We brought our own food, but the Helpers heated them up and kept refilling the chading Trays.

They were so cooperative through the entire booking to changes, payments and during the event. Thank you Team!

Great staff!!! Bright my 2 year old German shepherd to get his nails trimmed (as he's not a fan) the staff got his nails trimmed (although he wasn't happy about it) but they did it and we're happy he's no longer click clacking around the house. Will def bring him back in a few weeks for additional "care"!!!!
Thank you to the staff at the Oshawa Convention Centre who helped support our education day. The chicken had great flavour despite the challenge of not being able to use garlic and onions.
As an organizer of the event, it was important to be able to accommodate everyone's needs and the chef was able to handle, a wide range of dietary and olfactory restrictions. Staff were very helpful in assisting with set up and fulfilling any requests.

I’ve been coming to Woofur for almost a decade now and I will never go anywhere else for grooming, training or food and holistic nutrition. Michelle is absolutely amazing with her extensive knowledge on food, supplements and even training practices for your fur baby. Even if she’s not there, her staff is amazing and very well trained with any questions you may have. I bring my dog for grooming and Georgie always comes home with a smile on his face. The front staff always listen to the requests you may have with the cut & style and even suggest what would work the best for your pet. You can’t go wrong with bringing your fur baby to woofur!
Staff was friendly and the hotel was nice and clean. I was on a long drive and needed an overnight rest. The room was expensive and I just spent 6 or 7 hours there to get some good quick sleep before I hit the road again. The room was nice, the bed was firm and comfortable. It was pretty expensive but I was exhausted so I got a room. I've had better rooms for less but the room was in no way bad. I just felt it was over priced for my needs. The restaurant looked nice but was closed when I arrived and wasn't yet open at 4 am when I left. I saw families leaving the pool area when I arrived and the kids looked like they had a blast.
We were there during a huge convention. Our room was not quite ready when we registered so they automatically upgraded our room. Very nice. They staff were kind, competent and friendly especially the older gentleman, George! He was always smiling and noticed I was using a cane and brace for a bad knee. He went above and beyond by offering us a wheelchair for the duration of our stay so that I would be more comfortable. So thoughtful and it really did help! Every staff member was able to answer our questions and lead us in the right direction when we needed help.
Even though the room was a bit dated the overall stay was great and we would definitely stay there again.
We loved the access to so many amenities in the downtown core.
Back in June, my family came into town for my graduation. When we entered the lobby to check-in we were warmly greeted by the staff. As we were checking in, the manger who was standing close by noticed that we were 5 adults checking into one room. He came over and kindly offer to upgrade the room to a suite. He didn't have to do this of course, but we really appreciated this kind offer. It made their trip to London noteworthy. Thank you again to the manager who kindly upgraded us! Wonderful service like this will definitely have us stay at this hotel again.

What an absolute fantastic place to stay for our grandson's soccer tournament. All playing fields were only minutes away, huge selection for shopping & restaurants just steps from the hotel lobby. Tons of free parking both above and underground and beautiful ultra modern rooms with very comfortable beds
The worst Marriott I have ever stayed in. The rooms were adequate quality, the service was so bad that they started arguing with us and kept sending us ip and down stairs to drop off our luggage. Concierge wasn’t even available. The fitness centre was not good at all. For the price you pay, this hotel is definitely NOT worth it. And also breakfast is not even included in the price!!

I really wish I could give them 5 stars but I can’t. The rooms are ok not very fancy which is fine. We stayed there for one night and it was not a comfortable one unfortunately. Firstly the TV wasn’t working we had the receptionist come in to check and it just didn’t work. She told us we would be compensated for this at the time of check out. We were fine with that. Later on in the middle of the night the TV switches on all by itself and we were woken up from our sleep as the volume was super high. At this point the front desk person had taken the remote with her so we had to call her back to leave the remote outside our room. Once we did switch off. Every 10 mins the tv would switch on by itself. At the end we just plugged the wire out. We couldn’t sleep at all after that.

We did ask for a compensation at the time of checking out and they said they can’t as we had booked through Expedia. Ever since I’m trying to get in touch with them for a refund and they keep giving me an email which never responds to my email.
Ridiculous!!!
I stayed in a smoke-free room with 2 other people (my family). Overall my experience was pretty positive and I do suggest this location! Here's my thoughts:

Part 1 - the GOOD
✅ Excellent location - across the street from the National Assembly and within 5min of Historic Quebec City. Surrounded by high-tier shops & cute prewar neighborhoods. One of the best places you can possibly have for a hotel.
✅Meal & parking plan - my deal on Expedia got me a $50 food credit for my stay and free parking. I heard that paying for parking can cast you though (which I'd say is still worth it since it's secure).
✅Bistro on level 3 - a good (though a bit pricey) Bistro is open for guests on level 3. Breakfast goes from 7am until 10:30am and is pretty tasty.
✅Room amenities pretty good - bar some caveats that I'll mention in Part 2, the rooms look nice and have pretty good amenities
✅Gym & pool - I'm more of a gym guy but the people I stayed with like the pool. On level 2 you have both. Problem solved!
✅Good wifi - compared to the other hotels I've visited, the wifi is pretty good!
✅ Interconnected - driving is OK if you're careful with the signage and stop signals, and the hotel is right on a major transit route & bike share. It's also in the middle of everything so you can bike, walk, etc.

Part 2 - the BAD
📌Hard to park - the garage is tight in some places.
📌Bad room ventilation & freshness - you can't open the windows and there's no room vents, meaning that we had to leave the door open to refresh it after a particularly humid & hot day.
📌No washroom fan - speaking of ventilation, taking a shower will make everything pretty damp and there's no fan/vent to handle the moisture.
📌 Temporary construction - only a problem for now, but construction is annoying. I'm excited for how the finished project will turn out though!
We just got back from this place and had an amazing time with our two boys. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful and the rooms are very clean. The swimming area feels like a mini-resort. The pool water was warm and it wasn’t too busy. The kids had a wonderful time on the water slide. The only part I wasn’t happy with was they didn’t allow life jackets for the kids on the water slide. As a result, when my son came down fast he went straight into the water as he has ASD and low muscle tone so he had a hard time getting up. We then had one adult wait at the bottom of the slide to keep things safe. There was a lifeguard on duty in the area but she needed to be alerted and just kind of sat there passively. The hot tub was really nice - we enjoyed it as a family. Several food options on site but a little pricey. Lots of restaurants and food options within a 5 min drive or less. We would definitely go back!
We stayed in the hotel during the last weekend of July/2023. The location is great, and we liked the hotel in overall. Our room was good, spacious and comfortable. There were a couple of errors during the cleaning services but nothing major. Example: one day they forgot to put back the bathroom mat. We used some face cloths and left them on the floor to be changed, and they weren’t. So, as I said, nothing major.

There was some renovations going on in the front of the hotel and the access was not good. So, if you have any sort of disability or is travelling with babies/strollers, please check this before. Also, when you get inside, you still need to take 2 flights of escalators to get to the reception floor. I am not sure if this is a permanent thing for them or they will move downstairs once the renovations are done.

There was a small Nespresso machine in the room. We paid $25/each for breakfast and it was very well served.
Very disappointed in our recent stay. We had requested adjacent rooms - one of the rooms had foul smell, staff said they would send dehumidifier but sent a humidifier instead which did nothing. Ended up with rooms at opposite ends of hall, suboptimal with small kids. Hotel run down and way overpriced for the condition and service provided.
The hotel is a little dated but still super nice. We had the executive suite and it was wonderful for visiting with our friends who live in the area. The atrium is loud but beautiful. We did request some regular coffee pods that never showed up (our room only had decaffeinated pods) but other than that it was a great stay. The restaurant in the hotel was very good.

Very neat hotel. Rooms are fresh and high-end. Modern design and it’s everything you need for few nights to enjoy your stay! Gonna come back again. Very well situated and close to restaurants, bars and REM.
Great price and location right outside old Quebec. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were in good shape but the wallpaper was starting to come off in places.

Only issue was that the pool was too warm for us. On a 35C day the pool was almost as hot as a hot tub so it was not refreshing. But it was very clean! Would definitely stay here again.
Good
- location, walking distance to the old down and few groceries nearby
- clean
- quiet - they space out visitors, so no next room neighbors, which was nice
- mattress - god medium soft/firm mattress

Bad
- SMELL! Room smells awful, like 100 dirty socks and it was a torture staying in such a room for entire week. There is no ventilation and windows can't be opened, so was opening the front door to get some air.
This is a deal breaker for me.

- breakfast - the bistro below charges breakfast 25 dollars and even expects tipping the waitress when you just use the open buffet and bring food to table yourself! There isn't even that much variety for such a high price.
Tried it once and never again.

- elevators - confusing annoying setup where you have to use 2 elevators to get to your room

- noisy mini fridge - had to be unplugged at night to sleep
Beautiful hotel for the whole family. Pool was great but very busy. Twice the listed capacity of people in the hot tub. Water slide is good for 5-10 yrs. But all can have fun. Games room was a pleasant surprise for my kids. They also enjoyed the gym.

The room was very nice and comfortable, lots of space and storage. Friendly staff, ice machines working well, free parking underground with an elevator to the lobby or direct to your room.

No restaurant on site but they sell a small assortment of snacks and drinks near the front desk at fair prices. Lots of restaurant options nearby.

My only suggestion for improvement would be a bigger tv, it's too small for the size of the room. Other than that, everything was great.

The best thing about this place is the service. The staff were very very nice!!! Kudos to Bruce, Breanne and Lauren for their excellent hospitality.
Can't complain about the location as I was already told on the phone that it's a 7 min walk from the village. For its price, this place is great!!! Yes, housekeeping wasn't included, but we were already informed before making reservations.
Would I recommend this place to my friends and family? YES!!
The room was decent but did not have a microwave. The bed was so high I almost needed a step to get in and I'm 5'8" but then the bathroom vanity was so low it could be in a kids bathroom. Parking on-site is VERY limited and the door for the stairs was locked so we had to walk down from the top level of the garage with our luggage followed by dragging things through the rocky dirt to the entrance since the front of the building was all torn up.
Issues started before we even checked in. Tried to talk to the front desk and they said they couldn’t help. Called a manager and left a message and never heard back. Was told it was dealt with but the issue is still there. When we booked we were not told the indoor pool was closed so there was only 1 outdoor pool for the entire resort. Extremely busy because of this. Rooms were decent, bathrooms very small. Ac doesn’t allow user to control it, there’s a lock on it and being pregnant 70 degrees is still too hot. Best part is the location because it’s close to Collingwood downtown and blue mountain.
Spent a few days at Rocky Crest Golf Resort in July. Amazing location and beautiful scenery. The inflatable water park was a major hit for the kids (and myself). The other water activities were also very enjoyable. We took a pontoon ride (which was extra) around Lake Joseph which took about an hour. For someone who is not a boat person, this was fun.

Food was decent but VERY pricey. The resort was understaffed, and our room was never cleaned. The room itself was old and dingy, which also felt like it wasn't clean. They are in need of major renovations. Lighting was horrible. Shower pressure was the worst I've ever experienced. We did not go in the pool because the water looked pretty cloudy everyday. The lake was much cleaner.

All in all, it was a fun vacation. The kids loved it.
Rooms and halls looked worn. Bathrooms need refresh.
Breakfast which was not included was disappointing.
All staff were exceptional and deserve a far better establishment to work in.
Nice place to stay. Not overly fancy, but clean and looks new! We didn’t use the amenities as we were only there one night to visit the Scandinave Spa, but seemed like a nice enough place. I heard there is a $25 charge for the pool towel cards if you don’t return them, so beware of that and don’t take the cards if you’re not going to use the pool! Pool area was simple, nice landscaping, but no spa outdoors. Looks like they have a mini golf course that’s no longer maintained/offered.
Spent one night here with friends for a mini getaway. The front desk staff was friendly. The room was clean. Beds were comfortable. We were at the main pool and it was busy and full of kids. We asked the front desk about the 2nd outdoor pool and it was empty. We had the entire pool to ourselves.

We had breakfast at the Gustav restaurant. It was delicious and not expensive. Service was wonderful. Our server was short staffed and busy but she was friendly and we didn’t experience any issues.
The rooms were nice, clean and had cozy beds. The restaurant was kid friendly and comfortable, food was good service was excellent. The pool was amazing! Best part of the whole trip, the kids loved it, it is a beautiful indoor pool and while busy was still very fun. Will definitely be returning!
I see many mixed reviews on here. But we had a great experience we stayed for one night on a weekend in July. It's in walking distance to alot of things. The rooms were very clean. The beds were comfortable the only thing was the leaky faucet in the bathroom. It wouldn't turn off all the way. Other than that we had a good stay. Everything was clean and the staff were friendly.
We are just wrapping up a three night stay. The hotel is clean and the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We had a main floor patio to the pool room that we absolutely loved. The location is perfect as it’s close to Blue Mountain village without being in the hustle and bustle of the hotels down there. We will be coming back regularly. Thank you for a great stay!
Stayed a week and loved the spacious suite which was clean and very comfortable. Enjoyed the heated pool and surrounding area. Reason for 4 stars was only because the exterior photo of the hotel that is shown is misleading. Hotel is nowhere near the bay or any water. One of the main reason we picked this location. However the location is close and convenient to Blue Mountain shopping and restaurants.
Lovely clean rooms, with comfortable beds, breakfast was extra and very expensive however delicious. Housekeeping would only give us 3 towels at a time, we were traveling with kids and needed more. We booked with Expedia so we had free parking underground. Normally it would be an extra $25 a day. Hotel was under construction at the time, it will be beautiful when completed. They had a good system to deal with their guests even though their front entrance was under construction. Kids were disappointed the outdoor pool was shut down on the last day, they had too many chemicals in the pool and couldn’t open. However the first two days of our stay the pool was very nice, clean and super warm.
Terrible experience with management. Our room TV was broken, and as good guests, we reported it to the front desk to inform them. Instead we were charged hundreds for something we did not break. We asked for the manager, and they were very uncooperative when we were just trying to help out. On top of this, the hotel room itself was overly expensive while having a barely operable toilet, no fan inside the bathroom, a wet carpet, a broken safe, and of course, a broken TV. My family and I will not be staying at any Hilton in the future.
Wish I could give zero stars. I pre-paid for 2 rooms with my booking. We showed up after the designated check-in time and waited approximately 35 minutes in a line to get checked in. Was told I’d have to wait an hour for the two rooms to be adjoining, despite my request. We said it’s not worth another hour’s wait after transit, so we’ll take 2 rooms apart. Well, turns out they had NO second room available. It was another 4 hours before we could access the second room. And it wasn’t just this wait, it was, “we’ll let you know in a half an hour,” “we’ll call you in 10 minutes,” “it won’t be more than an hour,” etc. (all lies) over and over until they could finally manage to get me access to the rooms I’d paid for. Somehow it took over 4 extra hours to clean a room that we were expected to be in by 3pm. They would not compensate in ANY manner and simply blamed their corporate system, saying all across Canada people can’t get their rooms. But we saw no one else with this issue in the giant line of people waiting to check-in. I called corporate to ask what the deal was with not being able to get into a second room until later in the evening. They literally told me at Hilton corporate that they “can’t guarantee the guarantee.” Laughable! I can’t believe they did this and refused to help in any way or expedite the issue. Normally, I don’t mind a wait and things do happen, which I understand. But I was treated like I was stupid for wanting to check-in to 2 rooms in the same day when I’d booked ahead and pre-paid them. Without this issue, this hotel is mediocre at best. Dated rooms, horrible parking, understaffed, and dirty common areas. And the walls are paper-thin. We were treated to dozens of kids screaming in the halls even late at night because this is a prime spot for kids sporting travel. Not to mention pricey! Make no mistake, you do NOT get what you pay for here. I would never stay at a DoubleTree again even without the room screw-up. Avoid this place like the actual plague!
This was one of the best times we had at a hotel. It is really set up well for everyone. Huge pool. Fast waterside. Kind staff. Everyone had a smile on their face while dealing with you. It was really well priced ( we went during the week) and they even have a table area to sit and play cards and games with the kids in the evening instead of being in the room. Pool was open until 10pm.
My kids and I had a wonderful time during our stay. We loved the tropical atrium and of course the pool and slide! The room was clean and had everything we needed. Even a separate shower and bathtub. The location is close to everything and the service was amazing!
Just went for a one night getaway and it was a lovely stay. The rooms are spacious, fully equipped and clean. The pool is nice but too small for the number of guests. Gustav's restaurant was delicious and both servers at night and in the morning were very friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
The rooms are pricey but old and need renovation. The service was terrible we went down to breakfast with my family of six and the money was paid breakfast included but they wanted money from us. Then there was a server who was angry for no reason and acted inappropriately towards our family. Then the manager came and said that we could eat our breakfast. Then that server lady changed her decision and let us eat, but then she started a whole nother thing saying that we’d had to wait a long time and that was a problem because we were in a hurry to go somewhere. Also there is no buffet anymore which sucks since you gotta order breakfast and that takes a long time. But the manager wasn’t too bad. And now we had to cancel our second night. That one server lady is too much of a b#### and needs to learn how to act.

Nice clean rooms and bathroom. Desk, Wifi, Coffee maker, hair dryer, and iron. Beds are comfortable with lots of pillows. Close to strip mall and area restaurants.
Honestly best experience ever! Came from Niagara for a mini vacation, and even with the rain ruining some of our plans it was amazing! The front desk gentleman was wonderful! (I'll bring you another rock soon!) The housekeeping staff was also great! Rooms perfect, even had our extra requests done for us! 3 pools to choose from, plenty of outdoor activities for the family, Pathways to walk and even a little pond. 10/10 would recommend and stay again! Coming back when I can explore the caves! Thank you for the wonderful stay!
Well we had a fantastic time here! The staff was exceptional our room was nice we had a pool side view, the outdoor pool was great and very warm (mind you it was raining for 2 x days) but it was perfect you have to make the best of it! The indoor pool was great too and yes it has a chlorine smell but that’s expected… I wish there was a hook in the shower to hang your wet bathing suits instead of the towel rack above the toilet (that’s my only complaint) but I would definitely return!
Great location able to walk to restaurants. Rooms are due for an update but are clean and well maintained. The hotel itself is very nice. The service was excellent. Parking garage is a leaky mess. Construction on the street in front is currently going on. We were informed of this on the Hilton website. We had a very pleasant stay and would return.
If you stay here, be prepared for a bit of trek to your room! It’s a biggie! It's not in the city center, but it's okay. Just be aware parking will cost you a bit..

As a first impression, you feel it’s an expansive hotel with its sheer size - can be both a blessing and a curse! This grand scale does come with its fair share of walking, so guests who prefer to have everything within arm's reach might find this somewhat challenging.

The location of the hotel is reasonable, although it doesn't exactly sit at the heart of the city's bustling hub, and because it’s elevated location, walking up and down would be a bit challenging for those who don’t have exercising on their list!

The rooms were above average, not bad at all, definitely would need a little touch of freshness. The staff handled were friendly and helpful.

One aspect of the hotel that truly stood out was the restaurant. The menu was diverse, the food was amazing and the views were breathtaking!

Don’t forget that while parking is convenient and it’s on-site and secure, it’s is on the costly side.

The good thing is that it’s so close to the Old Quebec City where the heritage and history of this city is.

Clean, well-appointed rooms that use space efficiently. Excellent location with many options for dinner.
But the best part of this hotel is the bartender Félix. Félix has a passion for what he does - both crafting the cocktails and entertaining the guests at his bar. Whether a night with dozens of guests or a night with just one, he made sure everyone was taken care of. I appreciated him greatly over the past week.
Such an amazing space, beautiful lights, affordable place to have any event function. Staffs are very nice and helpful !

If you like a modern urban flair then this hotel is for you. It is like living in a major city - very small room, lots of floors, noisy, concrete, expensive food. Colorful modern look. It did quiet down overnight.
But what kind of hotel doesn't have fridges in the rooms? I asked for a room with a fridge and was told there are none available.
Breakfast is not included.
Close to lots of amenities.

edit: I upgraded one star because the morning staff were a lot nicer.
One of the most COLOURFUL venues we've been to! The gorgeous chandeliers & dramatic lighting add a classy look to weddings and give you stunning photos of every angle. The staff is courteous and the foyer is perfect for hosting cocktail hour or a buffet dinner. Thank you for having us and we can't wait to be back!

The owner Michelle is quite manipulative when it comes to dog owner’s training. She will just judge you on the outside even though she has no idea of person’s financial situation right now.
You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to train your dogs. AND there are variety of ways to train your dog based on their personality. Every dog is different. Just because they are from a certain breed, doesn’t mean they will be exactly like that. My German shepherd is the sweetest, she is gentle to everything, from little dogs to little kids. I trained her well even though I’m not certified.
You may have experience and certification but I’ve been around dogs all my life. I also don’t need to have insurance for my dog sitting or walking freelance work as I do not do it frequently.
I do not appreciate your demeaning judgment based on a video interview.
If you are such a great dog trainer, you would show empathy to dog owners as we are all just doing our best to take care of our dogs as they are family to us, not just an animal.

Brought my cat for a comb cut but they recommended de-shedding instead based on the photos I sent and I am SO happy with their suggestion and work. The staff is nice, the groomer is specifically a cat groomer so understands their behavior, fur and how to groom cats properly. It's difficult to find good cat groomers so I am glad I found Woofur!

one if the best hotels in the south shore.
The service is always great, the rooms appears to be clean, the bed and pillows are comfortable.
I always get great service when I go there the staff so far are very nice. I even lost my coat once but after a few calls they were able to track it and left it in the room for me. I forgot the gentleman’s name but he always work at night (originally from Morocco) he is great and always does his best to answer our questions.
I would definitely recommend this place.
I cannot put into words how happy we are with the outcome of our wedding.

We booked the Grand Victorian back in 2019 for a 2020 wedding. Due to the pandemic we had to reschedule it twice. Dewinder and Seema were so accommodating and kept communication with us from 2020 till 2022.

Dewinder was extremely nice and welcoming from the start of the process. He was the only one that agreed to do both Italian dishes and Indian dishes out of all the venues we checked out. We had Italian and Indian antipasto table, steaks or Indian food for dinner and the dessert table. No other venue would agree to this request but the Grand Victorian. He would always say “we want you guys to enjoy your nights, we’re here for you”, I really appreciated that because it truly felt like he was there for us along the way. Also the food tasted amazing!

Seema was our coordinator. She was absolutely fantastic answering all my questions. She made this experience so stress free as it felt like talking to a friend/family member. We had multiple meetings where we went through the schedule, the menu, the hall setup and it felt like we were able to decompress as we knew she had all of our interests taken care of. I can truly say she made the night a wonderful experience.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Dewinder and Seema, the night was spectacular and we couldn’t have asked for a better start to our marriage.

Room and public areas are clean. We paid for a 4pm to 11am stay as a family with a baby. I check with the receptionist few minutes before 4pm, but the room is not ready yet. We were given a room at almost 4:45pm after asking their virtual assistant if we can check out late to compensate with the time lost in checking in. Additional staff is needed to ensure that rooms are readily available at the check-in time. Otherwise, hotel is worth the money.

I respect their service during the tough time that everywhere else is shut down. Staffs are friendly. However, I wish they could be more informative before shaving my cat completely.
I brought my cat for bath and grooming. With too much expectation making the little boy look nicer. I thought it would be a simple trim with comb and scissor. However it turned out to be overly shaved.
I can tell my little boy came back home disappointed. He keeps sitting under the table with his head down. No moving, not eating nor playing. It will takes a while to get this poor little boy to re-build his confidence.
