Highly expensive rooms for poor quality. Extremely small and do not look like the photos.
Upon leaving everyday they’re were always homeless people sleeping or passed on directly on the steps into the hotel making us virtually have to walk over them to enter. The concierge could not be bothered. We asked if we could upgrade our rooms because we were unsatisfied and they said it would be a $1000 upgrade

We visited your hotel on the weekend to celebrate my husband's birthday. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and pleasant and gave us everything we needed for our golf day. We spent the day golfing, came back, checked in to the White House Inn and the room was clean and comfortable. Later that evening we went to dinner at the Locks, had previously booked this a month ahead and they didn't have our reservation. We wanted to eat in the dining side and the lady with tattoo's wasn't very friendly. She said I don't have a reservation here for you but you can eat on the patio, the idea was to eat inside. There were three empty tables and we asked, can we please have one of them and she finally gave in. The remaining two tables remained empty. Then the other waitress served us, we ordered a bottle of wine to have with our dinner at 7 pm and it was going on 8:30 pm when she still hadn't taken our dinner order. We had to ask her if she could please take our order. The service was terrible all around. When the meal came, the presentation was not nice, baked potatoe over cooked, steak was good but the oscar sauce was awful. You need more staff in the dining room, especially on the weekends and some work with food presentation. It was very slipshot sorry to say. I've never seen a big steak knife on the dinner plate with the food all pushed to one side. On a good note, great location and the golf was fun! We didn't attend breakfast after the ordeal with dinner, we opted for tim's on the way home.

My wife and I went to see a concert at the Scotia bank center. You cannot beat the the location. Service is mediocre and the rooms are Small but for the price it would be hard to beat. The room was clean and modern. No parking No dining No real Services other than a place to sleep. I will return

I stayed 2 nights here and have no complaints. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the TV was really large and comfortable to view from the bed. We had a nice view of the city and it is right in the downtown area near tons of restaurants! I would stay here again.

We stayed at this beautiful hotel last night. It is conveniently located in downtown Perth so you can walk anywhere. Stewart Park is just across the Tay River and lovely to go for a stroll. The room was clean, bright and had almost everything you would need. The only thing I was missing was one of those magnifying/regular mirrors that are attached to the wall so you can pull it out to see the back of your hair. Full breakfast is included and delicious. We had to wait for a while for a table but it was worth it.
We would stay there again anytime !!

Absolutely terrible. Way overpriced but worse than cheap hotels. Small room. Didn't clean our room once during our week long stay. We came for a work conference, and because they originally gave us the wrong room they wouldn’t let our organization help cover some of the ridiculosly high prices. The only good thing is the breakfast.

Stayed here for 1 night on a Saturday. Requested a room 24 hours in advanced and let them know when I would be arriving. Room was not ready and ended up getting downgraded about 11 floors. I picked my room specifically for the higher floor. I had dealt with Bali at the front desk, and she was very rude. I use my Hilton Honours quite frequently, last time being a few weeks ago with absolutely no issues, and no issues anywhere I’ve been but she told me “things have changed.” Since when? 2 weeks ago!? I would never try to bash a customer service employee, but she was everything you don’t look for when dealing with customer service. She honestly ruined the entire experience for us, and for that the 2 stars were given.
Customer service aside, the hotel was nice… in a good location - walking distance to everything we needed, and all other staff was extremely friendly. Room was relatively clean.

Brought a group to Toronto to see a Blue Jays game. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk to the stadium. I had a regular room, not one of the Status ones. It was well appointed, had all the amenities one would expect plus a few more nice ones. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back here.

Very central location. But stinky and sketchy neighbourhood.
Basic services, rooms were clean. Hotel under renovation so dust is commonly encountered.
The elevator is probably the slowest in Toronto and makes funny sounds.
Rooms too dark.
Staff, particularly front desk staff were extremely friendly, helpful and polite. Thank you. Similarly for room service.
Extremely high price for what this hotel offered. If it was for 1/3 or 1/4 of what I paid, the I would understand the condition of the hotel.

Honestly i would 100% recommend!
Staff was amazing , super nice , always smiling and beeing helpful anytime needed.
Great bar in there , bartenders were super nice , prices there were also very reasonable considering we were in Downtown Toronto.
Got a room last minute with two queen beds at the 32 floor with a crazy view for under 230$!
Room was top clean , still like i said highly recommend 👌

Beautiful hotel in downtown Toronto. The room was spacious, towels 2/5, ac 5/5, view 4/5, breakfast 2/5, lobby 5/5.
We arrived before the 4pm check-in time and they were gracious enough to give us the key to the room.
There must be a public clock somewhere close by that chimes every hour on the hour and kept waking us up all night.

Worst Hilton I've been to.
Housekeeping didn't clean our room during our stay.
Loudspeaker testing happening in our two days in the hotel while we were sleeping (and for a very long time). WITHOUT ANY PREVIOUS NOTIFICATION. This is very UNPROFESSIONAL.
Very poor breakfast.
I do not recommend this hotel.

Great location, convention center was a solid venue and really well equipped. They even had ordeuves, or however you spell it. Waiters were walking around serving us food. Was here for an event. Loved it. Lobby smelled like perfume

Very nice staff, the hotel is not new but they keep an eye on cleanliness. They constantly clean and change towels. The breakfasts are also delicious. Thank you to Canada for giving us the opportunity to live here for the first time, this is very important for us 🇺🇦🇨🇦

Super pleased with the room. Clean, plenty of space with a desk and a fridge. Nice size bathroom, modern and well maintained. Had a great view. The bed was extremely comfortable. Great location, within walking distance to anything downtown. The food and drinks are a bit on the pricier side.

If it wasn't for the location, I wouldn't be staying here.
They lost my reservation, then said it was only for 1 night. The 1st room smelled on insecticide. The second one smells of smoke like an ashtray tastes. The floors are dirty, the cables are hanging out the wall, there is duck tape holding the TV up. The ceiling is painted dark blue which makes it more depressing, the paint is chipping and the only light bulb in the place is dangling from the center of the room, the cord of which is precariously strewn to the side and behind the bed. This is a fire hazard at best. The sticky phone doesn't work. There is no chair or desk.
I used to stay here several years ago, it was nice then. Now, you can't pay me to stay and honestly I want to leave.

Super convenient location, close to most things, easy to access location by car and walking downtown. Rooms were alright, below average compared to other Marriotts I’ve stayed at, bathroom wasn’t super clean and the AC was non existent. Very dim lighting and ice/vending machines were not working on my floor. Most of the staff were super nice but one of them in particular was super careless and didn’t really care about their customers.
Lots of other options in Toronto Marriott and not Marriott, I would suggest checking another property before booking this one.

Just wanted to add a few details about our one day accommodation at Hilton. We are 2 adults with 2 children and we expected at our arrival in our room to have the couch ready to put one of the kids to sleep in. The couch wasn't made like a bed and didn't had a sheet, pillow, blanket.. we need to ask for them. The person who brought us the bed sheets and pillow told us another person will come to set the couch into a bed for us. The person never come, we ended to do everything by themselves. Another aspect was the lack of towels. They know from downstairs reception we are 4 persons for the night. In the room were only towels for 2 persons. We called and ask for more towels. Nobody come.. we ended taking towels from the pool area..
Maybe these aspects will trigger some flags to you guys about your personnel services.
Thank you.

Had a great stay at this hotel. The room - a junior suite was perfect for our family of 3. Spacious even when the pull out couch was out. Bed and pillows were comfy. We have accces to the executive lounge and enjoyed a lovely evening snack and breakfast there. The indoor/outdoor pool was really nice, though showing it's age with cracked concrete on the edge - great temperature in and out for swimming. The construction made finding the front desk a little challenging, but great to see they are upgrading. Because of the times we arrived and left the valet parking actually worked out to be the same cost as self parking and was a well organized service. You scan a code when getting ready to leave and the car is there in 20 mins.

We stayed for one night, booked a King room and were given a queen—fine, however, if you book something and think that’s what you’re getting-that’s what you should get. Pool was disgusting, to say the least. It was so dirty, hairs and dirt around the pool deck. Also feels like a dungeon as it’s so dark and no music or anything playing. Parking garage is very tight and signage to elevators is horrible!
We ate at the restaurant which was actually pretty good but when we asked about the breakfast buffet we were told it would be $30/person and $15/child.. sorry but for our family of 4 $100 for breakfast? How much does someone actually eat at breakfast? Overall the room was clean and staff were friendly but the pool really bothered me. We only needed to stay 1 night which was fine but I wouldn’t have wanted to spend any more time there. As a “Hilton” hotel, this really disappointed.

The only reason I stayed here in the past with my children was because of the rooftop pool. We loved it and thus the reason we paid more than other hotels around the area to visit it again. This time around though, we were very disappointed with the pool setup. If you want to sit anywhere around the pool that is outside, all of the chairs have "Reserved" signs on them with a QR code to scan and pay to reserve them. I was told that you get a few snacks and have to pay $85 to reserve 2 chairs. Apparently it is so outside people can pay to use the pool but not have to stay at the hotel. Makes no sense at all. When I pay $1,000 to stay for 2 nights, that price should at least include the ability to sit near the pool outside. What is the benefit to the person paying to stay at the hotel? Never have I ever stayed at a hotel and had to pay to sit near the pool before. I have two young children that I need to watch while swimming and they wanted to jump in the deep end, but I can't do that properly if I have to sit far away from the pool and behind flower pots. In the 3 days we were there, not once did I see anyone renting the chairs. They all sat empty while everyone had to sit back behind flower pots. Absolutely ridiculous. Definitely will not be returning when that was the only reason we paid way more to stay there than other hotel options.

Had an enjoyable 2-night stay. Checked in earlier than their posted check-in time but room was available right away. Free welcome cookies was very appreciated. Room was clean and comfortable. Location is very convenient. Close to transit and many points of interest within walking distance. Parking available on location but not very economical (which is to be expected in this part of town).

We stayed at the Double Tree this past weekend. Rooms were very clean. Bathroom was a bit small, but very clean as well. The cleaning staff were so friendly and helpful. They offered complimentary bottled water daily, which was really nice. Location is close to attractions, Yonge & Dundas Square, Eaton Centre, etc. There was a very long line-up for check-in. Took over half an hour, so that was a bit of a downfall. Nice bed and pillows! Overall, a good place to stay!

Such great staff! Clean rooms for a great price. Right downtown so it was within walking distance to everything we needed. Ryan was so kind and helpful to get us an early check in. Thanks again!

If you are coming to Eaton Center, Dundas Square, Nathan Phillips Square, or even the City Hall then this location is the perfect one.
From my experience, this hotel is very expensive for what it's offering. There was a line-up for check-in and it was only one staff at the front desk. My room was full of dust and the towels were dirty. Not mentioning how noisy it was. Every time someone opens their room door in the hallway sounds like someone opening my door. The swimming pool is so small and dirty. I'm just disappointed with this experience.

Loved this hotel. Friendly, clean, easily accessible to Nathan Phillips Square, Dundas Square and rogers centre. Within walking distance to tons of attractions. Easy to navigate to and from. Very nice room and very well maintained inside. Will be back!

This was my second time staying here.
It’s in a great location. The rooms are updated. As a cleaner myself, I noticed a lot of details were not cleaned, but I’m pretty particular about cleanliness.
The pool is really nice. It’s starting to be in need of repairs though, all of the walls are cracking.
My first stay here was much better because the lobby wasn’t under construction. I really wish I had of known prior to booking that it was under construction. We arrived early and expected to wait in the lobby, but there’s hardly anywhere to wait anymore due to the construction. I probably would have stayed at the Double Tree instead.
As an honours member they did accommodate an early check in with a complimentary room upgrade. Very appreciated!
Elevators are a pain, but I find this to be a commonality in Hilton Hotels. The staff did not make us aware that you must scan your room card in the elevators after hours. We couldn’t figure out why we couldn’t get upstairs. It was not like this when I last visited, so I wasn’t aware of this.

Extremely happy with our stay ! Very friendly staff clean and quiet room with a balcony with a nice view ! Restaurant had great selection. Pool and spa were amazing! Will definitely book next year again

Enjoyed our stay even though it was short. Visually clean and the scent was fresh. The room was spacious with an enjoyable view of the city. Great customer service, super accommodating and polite. Didn’t make it to the pool but it looked fun! Location is very busy but it is downtown. Check in is at 4pm which is a bummer. Check out was easy and fast. Would definitely visit again sometime!

Great location. Spacious room. Easy check in and check out.
However, the place requires serious renovations in terms of door access, car drop in and pick up and facilities like the gym and the swimming pool.
We had to wait for relatively longer times waiting for an elevator to show up despite having 5 elevators.
Overall very good if you like to stay in a Hilton; otherwise, if you need more modern and luxurious stay, better to look for other options

Love the location and when you get there you will be served by door/bell person like Alex very friendly and helpful which made all our tiredness from long trip to eased. At the front desk definitely the hotel must put more agents, you see empty counter and the lineup to check in way big you will tell the management must work on putting more employees. Remember when guest check in they need your services not your beds. Love the 🏋️♀️ love the swimming pool very clean too.

Was put up at this hotel during a conference this May. The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel's location is ideal in terms of being right downtown, and its proximity to the Eaton Centre was a definite plus. Overall, a gorgeous spot. Definitely on the pricier side, but a price I believe is justified for the quality of the hotel, its amenities, its location, and its lovely staff.

Rooms were nice and clean. I found the bed a bit uncomfortable myself, but that can vary a lot person to person and place to place. Overall a very nice place to stay

The rooms are looking seriously dated and rough. Perfect if you love shades of beige and brown. The pool is great but they block off half the lounging chairs with ‘reserved’ signage so come early if you don’t want to sit on the ground. Location is great but I wouldn’t stay here again.

The room was a little dated and the bathroom was very hard to navigate. the hotel didn't have any laundry facilities so we had to pay $85 for a service. All that being said EVERYTHING else was top-notch. The service was impeccable ---You could find hep anywhere without waiting, the Concierge floor (43rd) level was one of the best I have been to and we have traveled all over the world. Full Breakfasts and dinner, coffees, drinks and the best staff we used it daily and LOVED it. I would recommend this hotel. Also the location was very central so we were able to walk almost everywhere. The photo of waterfall from Lobby.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Toronto Downtown on 25 May 2023, and I must say it was an excellent experience from start to finish. This hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Toronto, making it an ideal choice for exploring the city.
The location of the hotel is fantastic. It is within walking distance of many attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas, allowing me to easily explore the vibrant city of Toronto. The proximity to public transportation also made it convenient to visit other parts of the city.
The staff at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Toronto Downtown were friendly, attentive, and provided exceptional service. The room I stayed in was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The comfortable bed ensured a restful sleep, and the amenities provided everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The room had a beautiful view of the city, adding to the overall experience.
The hotel's dining options were impressive. I enjoyed a delightful breakfast at the on-site restaurant, which offered a wide selection of dishes to suit every taste. The quality of the food was excellent, and the service was prompt and attentive.
One of the standout features of this hotel is its amenities. The fitness center was well-equipped with modern machines, allowing me to maintain my workout routine while traveling. Additionally, the rooftop terrace provided a stunning panoramic view of the city, making it a perfect spot to relax and unwind.
The cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel were top-notch. The common areas were spotless, and the housekeeping staff ensured that my room was always clean and well-maintained. It was evident that the hotel takes pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.

Amazing hotel. Front desk staff were great. Andrea’ in the kitchen and dining room deserves a pay raise. I saw her work tirelessly and with grace training three new people. She is the type of employee that you want to keep around for a long time

Absolutely my new go-to hotel in Toronto, and I've stayed in about a dozen, including most of the major hotels downtown. It's one of those rare properties where all the important aspects are done right. Our room was genuinely relatively large, immaculately clean, and updated with great features like sliding shower doors that don't leak onto the bathroom floor, a bigger-screen TV, expansive windows with excellent views, softer towels and linen, a kitchen nook (ideally it could be bigger, but not a serious issue), all kinds of space for your stuff, a mattress that is the perfect blend between firm and comfortable, excellent sound insulation, and more. The pool, like the room, is much bigger than the average diminutive pool you find in most hotels, with a pretty beautiful outdoor component. The gym is well-equipped. You've got six elevators and almost no wait at any time for them. A terrific valet who gives you the option of self-parking underneath the hotel. A perfect location within minutes walking of major attractions. And as usual the Hilton customer service is the best. They accommodated our requests and inquiries with a smile on their face, including a generous complimentary upgrade for myself as a Diamond member. Just booked another stay because we're impressed and because this is one of the rare hotels that ticks off all the boxes--which I believe is just because they put in the effort to get things right! 👌

I have never had such incredible service at any hotel I've been to. Everybody was very friendly and helpful without feeling too stuffy either.
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet. Location is excellent as well.
I also felt very safe here, which is important. As a female smoker, I'm often outside alone which can feel uncomfortable depending on where you are. Here, the smoking section was across from valet as well as visible to the front desk. There comfortable chairs to sit with my morning coffee as well.
All in all, my partner and I have already decided this will be were we stay anytime we're in the area.

Great hotel! The staff were all very polite and helpful. The hotel was very clean! The restaurant was wonderful. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Loved it! I was there for one night and I loved everything about this hotel. The staff was so friendly and accommodating from when I checked in until when I checked out. The location, you can't get better than being in the heart of downtown. With the Eaton Centre around the corner plus a variety of restaurants, movie theater, it's such a great spot! My room was spacious, the bed was so comfortable and I enjoyed the walk in shower. The only thing I wish was that room service was served the old fashion way with plates and real cutlery instead of it coming in a take out bag. However, I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

Wanted to thank Benny for finding us alternative accomodation after our booking was cancelled, and our travel agent did not inform us. We were so relieved to have Benny help us at such short notice. Thank you Benny. Shane and Kath

I spent here a week and I really enjoyed my stay. The room and the bathroom are very clean and spacious. There is a nice balcony with two chairs. The view was amazing! Every morning I would start with a swim in the indoor pool and then go to the breakfast that is included. The choice is always the same, there are three variants that you can slightly change. The hotel has it’s own spa which was a great contribution to my vacation. Definitely would return

Wish the sheets and room was cleaner, didn't feel super comfortable here. Also took a bit of time to contact the desk due to some issues connecting to the satellite from my room for some reason due to some interference.

Norci at the front made my trip. All smiles, good service and went out of her way to accommodate me. No shuttle but she called and paid for the cab 😀. The bed in the room was extremely comfortable as were the pillows. It was one of best cleaned rooms I’ve been in. The hotel is a bit dated and tired in some ways, but the staff makes up for it.

Ramada hotel is good place to stay with your family after long trip. Located near Richmond's malls and restaurants, you'll always find something to do. From the hotel, there is a skytrain within walking distance that will help you get to almost anywhere in Vancouver.
The rooms are nice and quite clean, each room has a mini fridge and a shower room with a bathtub. Also, some rooms have a balcony, those that do not have a balcony have floor air conditioning. It is recommended to turn it on a couple of times a day to blow the room to keep it fresh.
In the morning on the first floor you will be greeted by a modest and lovely breakfast. Coffee, fried toast, Philadelphia, jams, juices and delicious pastries, everything you need for a good breakfast. In the evening you can visit restaurants nearby.

I was on a flight that was canceled at midnight and I was able to call and speak to the night desk manager who was able to accommodate my stay. When I arrived, checkin was quick and the clerk was very pleasant. I was in room 308 which is behind a strange first door along with 309 butonce insidevit was very clean, the furniture was cozy and comfortable and I appreciated that a lot of coffee was provided, considering my long delays. My room faced a green belt which had construction but at 7:30 so not very disturbing. He bed was extremely comfortable and I happy all the bathroom samples were supplied for my shower including a working hairdryer. Even though I only stayed one night, I was pleasantly surprised by this property and would definitely recommend to anyone else who needs a clean, quiet and friendly place to stay and freshen up.

Wouldn't recommend if you're staying in Vancouver for holidays, but it's a quick and easy place to stay if you have an early morning flight. They will arrange a taxi for you if required.
We ended up staying in 202, which was extremely loud- you can hear everyone walking or driving down the street. We were thankful to only have to stay there 1 night because if this.
I've worked at hotels, so I understand that it's a necessity to put someone in these noisy rooms when the hotel is at full occupancy however, I would have thought they could choose a quieter room on a Monday night. Oh well.

I had a 2 night stay in a room last week and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I think I got a great deal with the pricing, considering the area the hotel is in. The room and building were also very clean. However, there was somewhat of a funky, musty smell in the room, and the key cards didn't always work, but no biggie for the price I paid and it wasn't anything major that a little air freshener couldn't solve. Overall, I'm very satisfied with its simplicity and would stay there again.

Pretty good experience overall. Stayed for one night during a weekend trip to the city. The building is a bit outdated but equipment worked fine and things were clean overall. The only issue I encountered was my room key not working shortly after checking in. The staff mentioned the keys demagnetize easily and quickly resolved my issue

I understand that this is a 2 star hotel but basic necessities like wifi and clean sanitation is not part of the package.
The bathroom was filthy. The hair dryer had dust all over it, and the tub had black marks?
The wifi did not work. Period.
Why advertise something that is not there?
The building is so old and rundown.
The staff were friendly but my checkout was 11am and I had a knock on my door at 1030am.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
On top of that, nobody works at reception after midnight and I was trying to enter the lobby but my card did not work. Luckily a tenant was there to open it for me and had he not be there I would’ve been locked out.
Whoever owns this place, get your stuff together and stop being stingy. It’s pathetic.

Not worth over $100/night 😒😒
First issue, majority of those staying were unsavy people. Broke down vehicles all over the property. Pool IS NOT operational and definitely not kept up. My room was disgusting and also unkept... Crumbling walls, peeling paint on balcony ceiling, no fitted sheet on the bed, dirty doors, and a disgusting inoperable coffee machine. BS cable-lile almost no channels. See pictures...

So many airbnb in the building, the security guards are in contact with tones of people each day, and is impossible to know if they have catch the covid 19 with or without his or her knowledge

The rooms smell like weed, as well as the bed sheets. The whole hotel is very outdated and not clean. I would definitely not recommend sleeping in this hotel because it just isn’t pleasant. I also noticed that the walls had mold on them. The carpet was old with an odor and the furniture was very old and falling apart. Everything seemed to be discolored. To whoever runs this apartment you need to renovate and clean these rooms very soon because they are in need of it.

So i usually review hotels very properly. This hotel is disgusting. It smells like weed and smoke (even tho it's non smoking room, clearly isn't. There's so many stains on the carpet (which seems very old). If you see carefully there's mold around everywhere and i also found a condom on the floor. They don't clean the place. The hotel itself is broken and damaged and old. You can get another hotel room worth the same price that's way better. I will add pictures soon. The bathroom is just super ghetto and old. Even the drawer, couch, beds, tv, lamp, etc. everything is in bad condition. Don't go here cause this is in fact a one star hotel in reality. Good luck with your stay in Toronto :)

Our room was nice, had a jacuzzi tub👍🏻
The room was clean and bed comfortable. Decent price, stayed for two nights.
Only issue was the AC unit didn't work the greatest, could have been cooler. The patio door a little hard to open. Staff very friendly, would come again🙂

I love this hotel, they are the only hotel out there with smocking rooms so if you book here, take that into account, there will be some smoke smells. I won't lie, the hotel is dated, but it has a nice vintage vibe to it. Keep in mind this is not a 5 star hotel, it is clean, the rooms are big, you can smoke, they have a pool, continental breakfast is included and the price is decent, I will definetly return. Just as an observation: if you are going to have smoking rooms try to split them in half instead of mixing them with the non smoking rooms so that non smokers doesn't complain because of the smells (smokers won't complain believe me). Also id like to give kudos to the staff specially the cleaning ladies, they were very kind and did a great job.

Best Service and luxurious stay!!

Terrible place for the price! Extremely dirty, common areas such as hallways, stairs, walkways, etc are absolutely filthy. Hallways and room had a weird smell, shower had no proper water pressure whatsoever, room wasn't up to standard and it was a dump. There were stains all over the carpet, chairs and all over. Definitely not appropriate for a family with kids or even a couple. Most of the staff is not very courteous or helpful and they need some training in customer service and should learn how to be more hospitable and accommodating. Overall a bad experience and I wouldn't recommend this place at all.
