If you want to stay close to the airport this is the hotel for you. I know you can have cheaper options close by with free shuttle but its worth the extra money. The option with the lounge access is great for snacks and the breakfast was great. Large and modern rooms with views on the planes taking off. All around great experience at the Marriott Hotel.
We went home for a wedding last weekend, and stayed at the Marriott @ the airport. Exceptional service, from Sonia in concierge to Kevin in the restaurant. They could not do enough. The valet parking attendants again took care of us with such kindness. This hotel is definitely a must stay. The bonus, you can watch the planes flying all day long
Thank you
If you're transiting from the airport this is the perfect hotel inside the airport to stay at. I had a 12 hour overlay and slept well. It's not Sheraton but hey it's convenient enough. They also have a free gym. Meals aren't included 😅, you gotta pay for those.
Convenient. Rooms are quite large. Club is nice - great place to get snacks. Surprised that the room service menu wasn’t crazy expensive.

Shower is oddly designed so you will probably get water on the floor. You will hear people in the hall and you will hear the airplanes as they take off, so beware if you’re a light sleeper.
Overpriced. Does not accept Google Wallet or any electronic payment. Must have physical credit card. Pleasant bar/restaurant and staff. Recommend you travel just a few minutes outside the airport for much better value options.
Typical Marriott location. A little noisy because of the proximity to the airport but not disruptive at all. Clean as expected. The event and housekeeping staff were amazing!!!
We’ve stayed in 6 hotels in Eastern Canada on vacation and this hotel by far and wide was the best. Even being next to the airport, I don’t hear planes from our room on the top floor. The room feels new, clean, spacious and fresh. The concierge lounge is top notch. Great daytime snacks and beverages, fantastic food at night and the breakfast was fantastic. Our host Sylvie is the nicest person, she is truly a gem. She has great customer service and treats everyone so well. She’s like your favorite auntie, and always in the best, upbeat personality.

We didnt say the night but did go for dinner. The parking is a bit challenging but the place is so pretty. We had a great dinner and the service was wonderful. Not a language gap at all either. Sinne we don't understand french.
This hotel is not near the airport and there was no shuttle from the airport upon arrival at Vancouver Airport. We didn't get any notification about shuttle cancellation, only found out when another hotel shuttle driver told us after 30 minutes waiting. The front desk manager Amy Kim was unbelievably arrogant but the other staff were very kind and considerate. Overall service was impacted probably because of an ongoing worker strike. Feel bad for people working there. Stay away from this hotel until situation changes.
We spent a bit of time in Vancouver over the summer and were treated to a lovely room on the 17th floor with a patio/balcony on this last trip. The view from there was amazing..... Everything about this last trip was great, from the room itself, to the restaurant and the wonderful housekeeping service. The hotel is located in an area of Richmond, that had 2 malls nearby, restaurants, drug stores and coffee shops as well as good access to the train.

* Review for the lobby bar.
DRINKS:
• Cadette: totally disappointed with this one. Zero flavor of coconut or lychee or whatever. Taste like water with a hint of vodka.

SERVICE: I was being ignored couple of times as they saw me calling them but seems like they're busy. They have a weird policy of no laptop after 6 so I'll not go back to this place to work anymore.

VIBE: very nice architecture but music is really loud, like late night bar or club music. It completely destroyed the upscale and elegant vibe the architecture created.
Very clean, super service and comfortable beds.

I was upgraded to a one bedroom suite with a small balcony.

Great coupons for breakfast complimentary... and a nice Marriott lounge with free hot snacks between 530-730. And a great restaurant on site.
Air Canada did us zero favors but it was great staying at this hotel after flight cancellations. Same day booking with great rooms. No microwave was in our suite was only draw back. With a toddler that would of helped us a bit with his food. Otherwise very pleased with this hotel.
OUR STAY
Rooms are stunning, restaurant and roof top bar are great. Worth the price for the aesthetics and walkability to King Street.

BLOCKING OFF ROOMS FOR OUR WEDDING
We blocked 10 rooms at this hotel for our wedding. The experience with the specific staff member we spoke to was mostly us trying to get information to no response.

When we first inquired about the wedding block, we asked about taking photos in the hotel on our wedding day. It was one of the major reasons why we wanted to book this hotel as the architecture is beautiful, so we made it a top priority to confirm that we were able to do that. We were told yes, we would just need a press release.

Only after signing the formal agreement to block off all these rooms were we told that we would not be allowed to take photos on the hotel property other than in our hotel rooms. It was extremely disappointing.

As far as we're aware the person we originally spoke to, that was almost no help, has since left. The staff we had contact with after were a great help in preparing for the many guests that ended up staying in our block.
Due to a error in the booking we had to move rooms. The last night rooms was situated next to the elevator, airco very noisy (you should check) and the shower starting dripping in the middle of the night. Cleanliness above all: please move the chairs to clean….

In the end I paid 278 euro without breakfast, as much as the superior king room… Very overpriced for what we got.

The reception, more specific Sara who named herself as general manager, was very rude and not friendly at all. At least we expected a small compensation, eg glass of wine, free breakfast.

Very pity since I worked myself for years in hospitality so I know how to treat people as duty manager.

Not good at all, im very sorry..

A unique experience altogether. Wonderfully delighted.
Truly an amazing place - - staff, including the concierge were so helpful (in planning our stay, with our kids no less!) and really delightful. The location is spectacular! Pointe Restaurant was great - we celebrated our anniversary and the staff went through great pain and effort to make it a special evening, with some fine and lovely finishing touches. Sincerely recommend visiting Tofino and staying here. We shall return.
Staff was very nice and helpful! They tried to get us a cheaper price in car parking at the airport. They also offered to call us a taxi to get to said airport. Unfortunately, the junior suite on the 18th floor had an inconvenient room design. The bathroom was sandwiched in between the bedroom and living room. The only way to get to the other room was via the bathroom. This meant that when someone was occupying the washroom, others were unable to pass through to the other room. In addition, the bathroom sliding doors were translucent, meaning that light passed through into the other rooms during the night, inconvenient for those sleeping. Also, the tv remote was near useless as it was quite impossible to change channels. The lodge hallways also had a bit of a musty smell. However, the aesthetics and view in our rooms were very nice. I was quite satisfied with the gym and pool. Overall I had a good experience here.
This place is great, so convenient when flying out. I had a 6am international flight, and staying here was the best decision we made. We checked in at 4am, and still had a wait, so staying here, where I litterly walked out of my room to the elevator that opened right up to the airport, gave me a bit more sleep.

Our daughter got married in Tofino and on one of the days a small group of us decided to have a cocktail at the Wick as we have stayed there before and knew what a great view/cocktails it offered. We were just getting our bill when the hostess came over with animated hand gestures and told us to tone it down and that baseball hats needed to come off at 5pm. How about read the room and know we are leaving. We are all extremely respectful people and were enjoying laughs reminiscing about the wedding from the day before. It left a bad taste in our mouth and a little ridiculous that the hostess had a half shaved head - baseball cap or half shaved head? Doesn’t really seem like the person to make a traditional dress suggestion. Great views and good cocktails but extremely poorly managed staff. Hostess was horrendous. Time for a new restaurant manager.
This hotel is not just a great hotel because it’s a Marriott hotel, but it is great because of the helpful & professional employees they have such as Kim at the front desk that was on overnight shift.
I had a flight delay that affected my check in until the early morning of next day. I called the hotel & spoke with Kim. I explained the situation for him & requested to extend my check out time.
He went above & beyond, accommodated my request & made it very simple with stress free .
Employees like Kim are great asset for the hotel & reflects what hospitality is all about.
When I arrived, front desk personnel were helpful, the room was spacious & super clean as expected.
I also appreciate the complementary 4 small bottles of water in the room.
Thank you!
Celebrating 35th wedding anniversary, had a late flight into Calgary and decided to stay the night at the airport Marriott. I called ahead and asked if there was anything special that could be done to surprise my wife and asked if I could arrange to have a rose in the room. They were unable to do that, but said they would provide a dessert tray.

Upon entering the room, we saw the room with (synthetic) rose petals decorating the room, the bed, the furniture, and a dessert plate with Happy Anniversary written on it. They went above and beyond the call of duty - fantastic job. Thanks for making the evening a night to remember.

I can’t say enough good things. From the friendly greeting from all the front desk staff when we arrived to the outrageously great meals to the best massage my wife has ever had at Le Spa. An absolutely fabulous weekend away. We were oddly thankful the weather wasn’t that great as it gave us a chance to use the working fireplace in our room and have a really cozy weekend of spa relaxation and walks around the area. A perfect time.
We will be back for sure. We didn’t get nearly enough time to explore the local towns and experience all that the Eastern townships have to offer.
Well done Manoir Hovey! You certainly have earned your fabulous reputation.
We had the best experience at this hotel. The rooms are very quiet and comfortable. We also enjoyed the pool and the gym. Shout out to Joyce from housekeeping who made our stay even more comfortable. She's such a nice and caring person who made us feel at home every time we met her in the hallway. The kids were blown away by her nice gesture (picture attached).

Had an awesome experience for a birthday dinner. The service was impeccable, super friendly and knowledgeable staff. There is an outdoor dining area for a dinner with a view. The place is slightly remote so it's harder to get to but that makes the place more quiet and intimate for any special events or date. Their poutine is a must try, crunchy fries and delicious sauce that makes it very tasty.
Amazing staff, especially front desk! Loved the location, short walks to queen & king st and lots of restaurants around. Room is smaller than others for similar price but with the lobby cafe/bar, roof top bar, and restaurant attached to the hotel it makes it worth it.
I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The rooms were clean and neatly organized, which was a definite plus. However, I encountered a significant issue on the last floor—the elevator noise was quite disruptive and made it difficult for me to sleep peacefully. Additionally, the design of the bathroom between the two beds and the divided section seemed a bit perplexing and didn't quite match my expectations. On the brighter side, the breakfast was simple but satisfying, filling up my tummy nicely.
I've stayed here several times when I have had to leave on a flight from YYC early the next morning and it never disappoints. The location is unbeatable: it's basically right next to check-in for the most common major airlines, you don't even have to step outside. The view from the rooms overlooking the airport gates/runways never gets old! The breakfast in the lounge was excellent on my most recent stay as well. ☺

Simply an outstanding property, we already are planning our return trip! From the warm greeting and property tour overview from our valet to checkout, the service was on point from all of the staff and truly was what one would expect from a Relais & Chateaux hotel and restaurant. Our room, 28, was very comfortable and had a private deck overlooking the lake. The bed linens, pillows and towels were all luxurious as well. Restaurant reservations are a must in the summer and our meal was outstanding from start to finish, impressive use of local ingredients at dinner and breakfast. Nathan, our server, was amazing.

The new spa is gorgeous. I had a 90 minute facial with Megan that was one of the best I’ve had. Make sure to check out their brand new facilities for steam/sauna/hot tub and cold tub that overlook the lake.
Service was FANTASTIC! And the hotel is well located. The only complaint I have is that they promise spectacular views, and the pictures on the website aren't representative of the view we had. I was in a suite, so I kind of expected the same view we saw on the website, but it was nowhere near that beautiful. Other than the view being a little underwhelming, the rest of my experience was good. The staff is very friendly, the service at the valet parking was very good and the hotel is well located and within walking distance of many local attractions!
The room was very very comfortable and relaxing especially after being on air for so many hours. It doesn't even feel like you're still in the airport. After having a long hot shower bath, I instantly fell asleep😴 once my body hit the bed. Service was excellent too👌 every staff we met were very kind and helpful, smiling all the way. Marriott did well 💯 👍
Loved everything about this place. Not only it s a new interesting architectural building but the atmosphere is very friendly. They allowed me to check in earlier with my 3 kids into the double room (idea for family of 4). The roof top offers a very cool view on the city and the CN tower. The breakfast was great. Location is trendy : few minutes only from Graffiti Alley and Queen street west. Nice places to eat out around. Really loved it and my kids too !
First time staying at Marriott Hotel Airport. Very warm welcome by MOLLY. Not only she just welcomed but upgraded our room for good view without being requesting.Incredible Marriott. Excellent customer service and happy employees. This also had one of the best value Elite status I’ve ever had; I’ll be returning just because of that.
Nicle and dime you. The airline lost my luggage so i needed a dental and shaving kit little did i know i would be charged $10 for that. I sayed in 100s of hotel never been charged. Also when I checked out i was over charged for my wine as well. When you pay over $350 a night you expect amenities to be free. When i asked for the kits i was never told there would be a charge.

Update: I did tell the clerk about it when i checked out and he said he cant do anything about it and will let me know about the wine charges and i never herd back. So all this ruined all the good things you have.
Great spacious rooms some with view. Comfy beds. Very friendly & professional staff. Location is perfect to get to the restaurants & stores.

This property is truly outstanding. It is a bit out of the way but well worth a visit because of the exceptional service and features. I would recommend as a destination - that is this is a place that is worth the visit even if you have nothing else to do in the area. My wife was interested as it was on the Penny (i.e. the Louise Penny - Author) trail. For me it was just a great destination with one on the most exceptional restaurant experiences in North America. Go to be pampered with exceptional service throughout the property or just for the outstanding food experience. We did not leave enough time so we will be back to swim in the beautiful pool and take advantage of the newly built spa. For a place in a country setting there really is so much to do that you need to stay at least two or three nights and we will be back to do that soon!

Service was attentive and thoughtful. The entire staff was kind and welcoming—not over the top, but just the exact amount. The location on Lake Massawippi was sublime—the water activities were included in the rate and easily accessible (kayaking, canoeing, paddle boats, stand up paddle boards). Intimate, comfortable, and a throwback to how old money vacationed.

Extraordinary building. The architect went to the same school as me. Hotel service is nice. Location is far. But worth to visit. Many hiking trails
A highly recommended hotel. The property was great, the staff was friendly and the service was also nice.
The property is well maintained. You can choose this is you have an early morning flight from Toronto, since this is too close to the airport and you can skip the city traffic to reach the airport on time.
Room was clean and comfortable. Desk staff were friendly and helpful. Bath towels were thin and crunchy. Buffet breakfast was pretty bad - the cooked options (bacon, egg, home fries) all had the texture of slightly warmed leather. Person next to me had something a la carte and it looked reasonable. Nothing else in the area open at breakfast time so that was my only option.

There was also a protest happening outside about the pay and conditions in a neighbouring hotel with the same owner. I fully support the protesters, but the amount of noise in my room on the 7th floor was unacceptable. I think my 80 year old house has better soundproofing.
This is one of the best hotels we have stayed at. We travel four to five times a year all over the world and I can easily say this hotel exceeded our expectations. It checked best on quietness, proximity to main attractions, walkable, amazing customer service, cleanliness, and the apples!!!!! Thank you everyone for making us feel welcomed and for making our trip a memorable one.

Wonderful is close to the experience, The transparent windows that let light right in and gives you the ocean view right from the couch or the bed. It's a cold place though. I love the dining area it's stunning. The pastries are amazing 😻
The staff at this location deserve 5 stars. Each one I dealt with was professional and very helpful. The bar staff was great as well.
Only reason 4 stars, is that the rooms are a bit smaller and dated compared to others on this strip. Also the noise from the halls comes into the rooms a bit louder than I'm used to at some hotels.

That being said, I'd still recommend staying here, and again their service is top notch.

The hotel staff are amazing and very welcoming. The vibe is also very cool and retro. The bed was a little to hard for my sake but my wife didn’t mind it. The room can get pitch dark which is nice. Location of the hotel is very ideal and is in the middle of everything.
Clayoquot is in a single word amazing! I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a high end luxury holiday. The staff are incredible, the food is incredible and the experiences are incredible. Truly world class! Thank you Clayoquot for yet another amazing stay.
I visited the hotel lobby bar with a friend. I found the drinks/service/atmosphere was really nice but I'm knocking a star off for the cucumber salad. It wasn't for me, and could have done with a smaller portion and less nuts in the salad.

Otherwise the Ace is a central-west end gem if you're looking for a quiet but swanky drink. I'd love to come back at night.

this was our fourth stay. we love this place. most of the rooms are comfortable and some gorgeous, we didn't want to leave our room. the new pool and spa is amazing and the service is perfect. many of the same faces which i always see as a good sign that the staff like where they work. that's important to me. the food is excellent. we enjoyed every meal we had. the pool team is excellent, great service. we ate in both restaurants and were happy as always.
Great location to both the airport and suburbs slightly north. Rooms are well maintained. They also upgraded loyal Marriott members which K really appreciate.

Staff is helpful and you can feel they really try to make you feel at home. However, during our stay it definitely felt understaffed. Any simple requests like more water bottles or toothpastes takes 20 mins each time.
I stayed in this hotel for 12 days while on a business trip to Richmond. This place is located close to Vancouver Airport (around 20 min by car / cab). The front desk people were helpful, breakfast was great and the rooms were super comfortable. Network quality was good enough to conduct online calls. Both open and covered parking were available. Many restaurants are close by. Overall it was a nice experience.

We just stayed for four nights and we were not sure what to expect. We had family and friends that recommended this place based on their stays years ago…but we were hoping that the conditions were maintained and was a bit put off by the lower google rating (4.4) that I would have hoped for the price. I found it strange that we had to pay, in full, up front but I took that to mean that they were very confident in their ability to fill their rooms (which is a good thing). In any event, the place exceed our expectations in all ways. The building is almost 30 years old but we were super impressed with the upkeep and cleanliness…impeccable. The service was ridiculous…like almost too good…from reception, restaurant staff, valets, cleaning staff…they were all all over us with service and more service. We did the walking tour and the guide was fantastic…kept our attention for 90 minutes…just walking on the property. The restaurant setting was gorgeous…the views…and the interior…and the new addition…all top notch. The place was just peaceful and relaxing … not intense at all…just a place to rest and enjoy the beautiful setting. Highly recommend it.
This hotel deserves more than 5 stars. This is the most magical hotel you will ever stay in
Service was outstanding, nothing was too much trouble for them and they really thought of everything to make your stay as relaxing as possible. Thank you to the babysitter, receptionists, bar staff, waiters, driver, cleaners etc etc. You were all wonderful.

The rooms are INCREDIBLE. Again, they have thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible, waterproof clothes, thick blankets, beach towels, fireplace, seat in the shower, double bath. The bed is so comfortable, we slept so well.

The VIEWS!!!! The bedroom and bathroom have the most stunning views of Chesterman beach. Watching the waves roll in whilst you’re relaxing in the bath, there’s nothing better.

Thank you so much to the Wickannanish Inn!

I had high hopes for this place. Lots of hype around it. I did not stay in room. So I can only comment on the restaurant. Seems like it has the potential to be a top notch restaurant…and maybe in the past it was. But now, I wasn’t impressed with the menu, service, and quantity of the meal for the price range and restaurant status this place is aiming for. Not much seafood options standard Halibut. Trout and crab legs. I definitely expected a more eclectic seafood menu. Over all it missed the mark for 4 or 5 star. The food and experience does not match the price. I’d would venture to other restaurants in tofino for better food and experience.
Convenient spot if you have an early flight. But the AC in our room was exceptionally loud. Probably only slept for about an hour in total. Very disappointing. Nice that they have room service but you're combining airport and hotel food, so you can imagine the quality isn't that great. Would rate higher if I could've slept.
I recently stayed at the Toronto Airport Marriott Hotel and had a fantastic experience. The location was perfect for my needs as it's just minutes away from the airport, making it convenient for travelers. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring that all my needs were met throughout my stay.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The comfortable bed provided a good night's sleep after a long flight, and the blackout curtains helped me get some much-needed rest. The room also had modern amenities such as a flat-screen TV, a mini-fridge, and a coffee maker, which added to the overall comfort.

The hotel's facilities were top-notch. The fitness center was well-equipped with a variety of exercise machines, and I appreciated the option to stay active during my stay. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals with a great selection of dishes, and the breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide range of options to suit different preferences.

One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional service provided by the hotel staff. From the front desk to the housekeeping team, everyone was attentive and made sure I had a pleasant stay. They were always ready to assist with any questions or requests, making me feel valued as a guest.

The Toronto Airport Marriott Hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of both comfort and service. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a convenient and enjoyable stay near the airport. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Toronto.
Living in 71 for four nights. Room size is really good, also high ceiling. Hotel renovation very update. Building inside not old at all. Soundproof is good. Restaurant in hotel is delicious. Morning free breakfast is fine. 24hrs free coffee machine. And 24hrs wines machine you can buy. Wi-Fi cover inside and outside building.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Montreal Airport Marriott In-Terminal Hotel on 11 May 2023, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. This hotel offers a convenient and comfortable stay for travelers.

The location of the hotel within the airport terminal is incredibly convenient. After a long flight, it was a relief to be able to access the hotel directly from the airport without the need for additional transportation. The proximity to the terminal made it easy to catch an early morning flight without any hassle.

The hotel's staff were welcoming and provided exceptional service throughout my stay. They were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met. From check-in to check-out, their professionalism and hospitality made me feel valued as a guest.

The rooms at the Montreal Airport Marriott In-Terminal Hotel were spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The comfortable bed provided a restful night's sleep, and the amenities provided everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The soundproofing was excellent, as I didn't hear any noise from the airport or other guests, allowing me to relax and unwind.

The hotel's dining options were excellent. I enjoyed a delicious meal at the on-site restaurant, which offered a variety of dishes to suit different tastes. The quality of the food exceeded my expectations, and the service was prompt and friendly.

One of the standout features of this hotel is its convenience for business travelers. The well-equipped business center and high-speed internet access allowed me to stay connected and get work done efficiently. Additionally, the meeting rooms provided a professional and comfortable space for conducting meetings.

The hotel's fitness center was well-maintained and had a variety of equipment for a good workout. It was a great way to stay active during my stay, and I appreciated the convenience of having a fitness facility on-site.

Overall, my stay at the Montreal Airport Marriott In-Terminal Hotel was exceptional. The convenient location, attentive staff, comfortable rooms, and excellent amenities made it a perfect choice for travelers seeking a seamless and enjoyable stay at the airport. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a hassle-free experience.

If you are reading a review of the Fogo Island Inn, I am going to assume that you know the history of the Inn and the importance of Shorefast, the charity that Fogo Island Inn is a part of. If you do not know about the Inn - and the incredible vision Zita Cobb and the people of Fogo Island had (have) concerning not only the Inn, but the entire island, then I think you will be missing out on a lot if you visit here.

The Inn itself is like nothing else on earth. The architecture, the rooms, the food, the PEOPLE make it a magical place to stay. Each room is different with views of the North Atlantic (and while we were there - of icebergs floating by) and most items in the room are made locally by the islanders. The rooms are comfortable, quiet, and well appointed. You are served 3 full gourmet meals (with multiple courses) each day in a gorgeous dining room and there is an extensive wine list as well as lovely cocktails. Not to mention, their coffee is out of this world. Oh and don't forget the pastry and coffee service that magically appears outside your door at 6am sharp.

Touting its placement at the corner of the earth (so say the flat earthers) you feel like you are indeed on a corner of the earth - with terrain that resembles everything from Ireland to the moon. The many trails along the island are gorgeous from coastal hikes to wooded and mountainous hikes. You can hike, bike, sit by a fire and read, bird watch, or take a boat trip to Little Fogo Island. Getting up close and personal with icebergs and puffins! was a once in a lifetime experience for us - just otherworldly looking at these massive structures floating in the ocean. The Inn offers guided tours, an immersive tour around the island with a local, and lots of other special activities. The crab boil was a highlight (although we did think the host of the night took himself way too seriously). The only - and I do mean the only annoyance of ours was that this experience is - as they say on their website - an investment and it is that...so really, I just wanted to be served two glasses of wine with dinner without paying another $25 per glass. Just include a glass of wine (or 2!) with dinner! But I digress and swear I am not bitter.

It is the people, though, that make this investment-this vacation- worth it all. The warmth of every single member of the staff - and of every single Fogo Islander we met - is real. It exudes from their faces and is genuine. You want to be friends with everyone there - and you want to be like everyone there; friendly, caring, joyful, and warm. You come home feeling like heading to corner of the earth was just what was needed.
This is the best airport hotel I have ever stayed at and it is INSIDE the terminal. If you are flying to/from the US, it is just around the corner from arrivals and departures. The staff is outstanding, the room are incredibly clean, and the airport views are really cool. The lounge food and staff are also incredible. We will always stay at this location on our first and last night when we visit Alberta.

Very neat space! The hotel itself is quite nice and modern on the inside. Would have to do a staycation there one day and enjoy some cocktails in the lobby bar one day.

The rooftop itself had an inside and an outside portion. The inside was very nice - Airy and sunny with great tall windows.

The outside portion was nice, but had a really high and deep railing that actually made it hard to enjoy the views.

Waitress and service was great. They were able to accurate create a cocktail based on some very loose requirements lol

Atmosphere was nice and the people were generally nice.
Stayed here for 3 nights before and after a trip to Banff. The hotel worked perfectly after a long day of flying - very convenient to get to once you collect your bags in the airport.

The checkin staff was friendly - and the amenities in the hotel were all nice. The room was pretty much a standard Marriott, but I loved the view of the runway/terminals and it was fun doing some plane spotting during my stay.

The restaurant/bar in the hotel was also exceptional - which was honestly a bit of a shock for an airport hotel. The steak sandwich was so good that I ordered it 4 times in 3 days (yes, 4 times!) and we canceled dinner plans in Calgary to eat at the hotel. The Yakima Date Pudding from the grab and go market they have was also incredibly delicious. We sampled our way through the entire drink menu too, and each of the drinks were really good - shout-out to the bartenders who were all incredible!
Loved this hotel and all the features. A lot of lounging and working areas, wifi everywhere, and self-serve wine machines. Staff was helpful and thoughtful. Location is right in the heart of Old Quebec by the port. Would want to come back.

Came here for a corporate event during the day. As we arrived, people paused for a minute to take in the lobby. It’s gorgeous. Event staff were wonderfully attentive. The food was great. After work I met a friend for drinks and snacks in the lobby bar. Friendly and attentive service again. Checked out the private dining room upstairs. The rooftop bar was closed for a private event, would love to check it out another time.
Had one night stay here in late May. Super clean, updated. Very quiet for being at airport. Had king room facing airport - great and interesting view! Lots to watch. Very good workout / fitness facility, with a view as well.

We recently stayed here for 4 nights for our wedding weekend. The most magical place of all time. Absolutely spectacular service. The best service of any hotel I’ve ever stayed. All the staff was incredible. Our room had the most beautiful view of the beach, so quiet and peaceful. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our wedding weekend. Thank you to the Wick and all of their amazing staff. Ali Cukier, in particular, was so helpful and such a pleasure to work with. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Heard about this architectural wonder and wanted to see it on my most recent visit before deciding to drop the couple thousand on a night for my upcoming honeymoon. Unfortunately, I was turned away at the driveway because I didn't have a reservation. It's very disappointing that such a site can exist but seemingly is not for any locals, only wealthy vacationers. That being said, the staff that turned me away was polite, but now I certainly will never book. The whole thing felt very elitist and completely against the values of this province and community. It was also disappointing seeing a dirt road all the way from the main road to the property. I would think with such a price, pavement would be standard.
Really wish I had a reason to book a stay, but I encourage all Fogo visitors to find local accommodations that encourage culture and exploration

Staff are very caring and helpful. God bless them all......
Great view, clean rooms, and the rain showers are great after a long day of walking.

Staff was friendly and courteous, and the attached restaurant makes a mean manicotti.

The over-reliance on QR codes for guest services was a bit irritating, however, and it would be nice if a URL was printed next to it. My phone's camera lens is scratched and can't read QR codes, so it felt like I was being punished for neglecting my smartphone, and one of the codes they gave us was misprinted.
My stay was the at the end of April. I can't say enough good things about this place. The attention to detail is exceptional from the soothing music and smells in the hallways to the beautiful rooms with views. Everyone addressed by my name and took the time to make sure my stay was perfect. Who doesn't like bubbly water from a lobby dispenser? My room was perfect. Complimentary snacks, port wine, rain gear, turn down service, binoculars, books, I didn't need to ask for anything. I toured the wine cellar and was super impressed. It was incredible and has so many labels from the budget minded to the thick wallets. This place is a hidden gem!
Anyone who comes on here to write a negative review about this place is nuts. If you're willing to pay top dollar and yet still come on Google reviews to complain, you might have other issues in life to address as a larger priority than bickering on here.
...I've never been to this lodge, and I still think it's amazing. 5 stars!! Even if the photos are even remotely close to the actual lodge, still worth it.

Had a chance to tour the place. Excellent rooms, dinning room and facilities. Got to try the pastry deserts. (Because my daughter makes them)

Lots of family good time friends give respect get respect
The place has improved, only due to standing up for myself and making police reports after numerous assaults and stolen items from secured sleeping areas.
The scenic beauty is mesmerizing. Absolutely in love with this place. The morning starts with beautiful mountain view and the day ends with great service, tempting dinner and peaceful environment. Me and my family are in love with this place ✨✨ definitely recommended if you want to explore a unique adventure.Service is remarkable. Thanks to the lodge team for making our stay memorable.
I could write a novel about how wonderful our time here was, but you simply have to experience it yourself. long story short: an unforgettable time and remarkable stay worth every penny.

Great place crack salesman right beside the dumpster across the street at the 7 11. It was a nice change to see people walking backwards and if you like the show walking dead the whole front lobby is filled with zombies.
Don't know where to begin! This place is MAGICAL! Everything is perfect! Can not think of a single thing I would change. Love how wonderful the staff was and great they look after everyone. Everyone was so warm and welcoming. Thank you ALL for having me. Peace and harmony :)

The staff. They are amazing. From Sandra who greets you and makes sure everything goes perfectly, to the dining staff and kitchen. The creative chefs make something new and unique every day and the servers
and bar staff are also outstanding and extremely friendly and accommodating.
The Inn itself is a daring concept by Zita Cobb and a feat of architectural beauty. It is situated on rocky terrain with an unsurpassed panoramic view of the ocean.
We’ve visited this spectacular Inn twice now and hope we can make it there one more time.
Thanks to everyone, the front desk, the people who shuffle the cars, the housekeeping staff, and especially Zita who followed her dream and created not only this fabulous place but contributed so much to the community of Fogo Island.
Our neighbourhood was already rough, as it's been for over 35 years. This hotel has compounded to the problem. Us residents have experienced countless break-ins, countless stolen mail items and non-stop harassment from pan-handlers.

There is more garbage strewn on the floor than I have ever seen in my life. I know this is not the behaviour from everyone experiencing homelessness but our neighbourhood may not recover from this.

Don't even try to go to a convenience store or pump gas after dusk.
This is not a hotel.
Just got back from a wonderful stay at this spectacular property. Such a magical place filled with natural beauty, adventure as well as comfort and relaxation. The staff were a highlight; so friendly, professional, helpful and cheerful. Sarah the GM is a wonderful host who does the best to make sure the guests are happy and comfortable. The food and drink were also outstanding. The excursions were super fun. Definitely recommend visiting.
Beautiful facility excellent staffing just an all-around wonderful experience

Definitely one of the best places I've ever been in Canada and world wide. The foundations commitment to making sure the culture and heritage of Fogo island is maintained is spectacular. Food staff and the amenities are all wonderful. Would highly recommend this all inclusive vacation, and this will definitely be on the top of my vacation list. They also have a great video on the creation inspiration and the owners humble approach to building this facility for the community on Fogo island and everything made in the Inn is all based from the island. Will definitely be back again in the summer!

A beautiful and unique inn that is very very remote. The hospitality is top notch, food is fantastic, the pastries were a huge highlight, and level of service and attention to detail made our stay perfect. There are so many surprises and delights here so I won’t ruin them here. Great if you are an architecture and design nerd who appreciates the juxtaposition between built and stunning nature. Definitely hike to each of the artist studios if you like contemporary architecture. We learned so much about the history and community here and even picked up some Newfoundland jargon. Get ready to find pleasure in small-town living and history and see how this inn has found itself rejuvenating/integrating into this fishing community. This Inn sets the precedent into integrated and sustainable tourism and should be how other tourism pockets should think about supporting their local communities while bringing in tourism and education.
How can I describe my week at Clayoquot? Magical, spectacular, life-affirming, simply special... Sara and her staff deliver more than is promised; everyone goes above and beyond to give the guests what they came for. On my first day, on the Sights of the Sound boat trip, we saw 12 bears including 2 mothers with a total of 3 cubs; 12 sea otters, 3 floating along next to our zodiac, and finally 7 grey whales showing us their tails. The kayaking adventures in the sound and the estuary can only be described as magical.....the beauty and the absolute silence.... I got to do 2 rides on Camaro, my new best friend horse. Seeing the rainforest and crossing the river on horseback are things that I won't soon forget. On my last evening I sat in the late afternoon sun on the roof of the bar watching my own private eagle, my seal friend cruising the estuary and the daily flotilla of mergansers. I feel like the staff members became friends, not employees...from Sara, to the guides, to the restaurant staff, to my favourite chef! I won't do individual shout outs to you; you know who you are! You all rock and are in my heart. I'll be back!
