Disappointed I can only give 5 Stars. Our party had the Sunday Roast. Incredible. Massive portions of roast beef, roast veggies, delicious gravy & huge Yorkshire pudding. We finished with the sticky taffy pudding. Great, fun environment. Our host Mark even shared their Sunday Roast playlist with us. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We were a party of 14 who arrived out of the blue and had not booked. We were served with excellent food and within a reasonable time. This was on Friday 5th April . Who was the chef? Give them a pay rise!!!
Our gorgeous little local! We are so lucky to have it in our community. The staff are so lovely and always make sure we are well looked after. Been visiting for 20+ years and in my opinion it is the best it has ever been in terms of service, management, quality and staff.
Expected this place to be rammo on Good Friday but it was quite pleasant.

You don't often get that level of care and attention in the world of pub grub, and it makes a big difference.
Food itself was excellent. Recommend the apple pie crumble, and I'm not usually a dessert kinda guy.

Stopped in with a couple of friends on a Saturday afternoon, around 1pm. It looked like a cozy place and had fish & chips, so we decided to check it out. Service did start off slow and stayed that way. Food was really good, but they were out of espresso for espresso martinis, no cheeseburgers, and Lillet for the Lillet Spritz. Maybe we just visited on an off day. Probably won't be back though.
We've had the veggie breakfast here many times, which is excellent. Popped in for a veggie Sunday roast in leamington this time.
Good portion, the food was hot and the gravy was delicious. The nut roast slice was OK but heavy on the rice, everything else on the plate was really good. The cauliflower cheese side lacked flavour. Overall a decent roast but not the best we've ever had.

A friendly and welcoming pub! Friendly and efficient staff who are also laid back but in a good way. Great outside space. Lots of tables. Good outdoor heaters. Lovely inside too. Food is very good and reliable. Superb pizzas and lovely tasty burgers. Lots of great small plates too. Great pint of Guinness! Recommended spot!
Lovely plesent and helpful staff. Room and shower room was really nice with a comfortable bed. The veiw from our bedroom was really nice. We have recomended it to friends. Xx
Been here before many years ago and I thought it was great even then. Can't say anything about food or rooms as they don't apply on this occasion
This was incredible. Our fish and chips (battered hammock) was one of the best I have ever had. The portions are huge. We were hungry and still could have shared one portion I think. The waiter convinced us to try the chocolate mousse which was more of a fudge and we did not regret it. It was such an amazing rich texture with the most amazing orange marmalade.
Great place for a Sunday lunch. Really nice and attentive service, great value for money and really enjoyed the food too. Only improvement I'd suggest is make sure you serve on hot plates, makes such a difference.

Decent little pub off Trafalgar Square…initially I had thought it would be packed full of tourists but it was a nice crowd of after work drinkers and diners. Visited with a colleague. £75 for main & side and a nice bottle wine, which isn’t bad for that area. Food was ok, not mind blowing but came out quick and service was very friendly and frequent. A safe bet if you’re around the area.
What a fabulous night on 2 march. Three birthdays to celebrate. Staff were absolutely amazing friendly very informative about the menu and wine. There were 16 of us at the celebration and everyone was so impressed we had never been to the three stag’s before. We will certainly be going back. The venue itself was very pleasant and so homely. Thank you to each and everyone of you especially our lovely server Nicola. 🥰
Food and service brilliant. The new lad behind the bar was friendly and efficient even whilst training. Our waitress was lovely, didn't catch her name dark hair and glasses. My mum had a lovely birthday here. Great choice of food for children too.
We come here often. Great local pub. Dependable food. Staff are amazing. Recently retained top marks for cleanliness etc - not surprising given the cleaner is a local legend! Would definitely recommend. Try out quiz night on a Wednesday.

Our dog likes it, she doesn't drink alcohol (which is good) but the staff always bring her a bowl of water.

Just been for a Birthday lunch with my Husband and we both really enjoyed ourselves. The pub was busy as they had a funeral party in. The staff were very helpful and friendly despite being raced off their feet.
We went for the 3 course set price meal which was fantastic value for money and plenty of choice. We’ll definitely come again.

Just had a superb meal with my GF in Thomas Cubitt. Can’t fault the atmosphere, service and desert was probably the best I have ever been served.
You must eat the chocolate mousse cake, with home made marmalade and brown butter ice paired with thier port.

Group of 4 at the front of the restaurant which became very noisy so next time will ask for table at the rear. Girls had Margaritas followed by wine and boys had some great beer and wine with food. The food and service were excellent. Three had Smoked haddock Graham and I had Bacon Chop with Celery, lentils and mustard. Really good food. Very friendly waiter ensured service was excellent. Great place just for drinks but as I’ve said food very very good. Will definitely go again 😁
Here at my favourite restaurant on the East Coast. Lentil soup to start, steak pie for my main. Service, food and atmosphere excellent as ever. Well worth a longer drive.
Came here on a Sunday lunchtime at 1pm for a Roast. There were a lot of tables free around that time but by the time we left it was pretty full. The man who greeted me was so lovely and welcoming and the man who served our table was equally so. There were two of us and we both got the chicken roast which was really good. Thought maybe the skin could have been a bit more crispy but that's maybe personal preference. The sides were great and when I asked for more gravy they were happy to oblige. In total with a drink it came to around £25 each which is pretty standard these days. The decor inside was lovely and I would happily go again either for food or drinks
A pleasant atmosphere for a Sunday roast, comfortable and stylish environment. The dishes are delicious and plentiful, the staff is also very friendly, helpful and competent.
If i could give no stars i would. Walked in to ask about getting a table for 2 to be greeted with "We are shut" no hello or anything. Would maybe suggest you have a look at the way you talk to people.

Lovely pub and restaurant just off Whitehall main road near Trafalgar Square. Needed a break from walking with kids, room in main bar. Only had starters but were delicious. Man behind bar very friendly. Great atmosphere, lovely old building over 3 floors.
Great British atmosphere and delicious food. Fish and chips dish is enormous and incredible. The staff is very nice and polite. Definitely worth coming here.
Had a great time at the pub! The vegan fish and chips were truly exceptional—such a unique experience. Portion sizes were generous, and overall, it was a delightful culinary adventure. The appetizer was okay, but the standout was definitely the delicious vegan option.

What a wonderful, wonderful pub! A wide variety of ales, ciders and spirits and a food menu that has something for everyone. Generous servings that are well presented and every single staff member had a genuine smile and friendly attitude from the off. Nothing was too much trouble. Definitely going to be visiting on a more regular basis now.
I’ve been here a couple times and every time has been so good! I highly recommend the Halloumi burger and nachos, while the portion of nachos are on the smaller side they are delicious!! The drinks are also really good, I recommend the Apple and Raspberry cocktail, it was stunning. For being right in the centre this place is reasonably priced, and for a good amount of food. Would recommend coming by if you’re in the area!!

Just moved to the town and want to explore all the pubs here, and this is absolutely the good start. Very classic English bar with history since 1950. Good beer, good vibe and good snacks with friendly staffs.
I’ve found a this place with classic decoration and many beers choices, as well as they have wide range of food menu doesn’t like some other pub only few things, also the taste is more than expected.
Amazing food, customer service, selection of drinks, atmosphere and pricing. What more could you possibly want? One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had, and I have had a lot. Fantastically thin dough with amazing aeration in the crust with faultless marinara sauce. Incredibly friendly staff. Extremely dog friendly. Beautiful decor. Amazing selection of beers and IPAs. Great gluten free and alcohol free options. Have been twice and every time I’ve been greeted like an old friend. Can’t recommend this place enough and only wish I’d found it sooner.
This place is a gem. I promise you its some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. Unbelievably delicious. Not expensive. Nice atmosphere, brilliant staff. Will be back 100%
We had a really great experience at the Black Agnes. We arrived on our way up to Dundee and had our little dog and two children with us. The staff were really friendly and accommodating with us. We sat on a table near the back and recieving excellent service. My wife had the stake and Ale Pie which was really good wholesome homemade food really well cooked. I had the scampi as I was in a seaside town. Again it was really well cooked and tasty. Our daughter's had sausage and chips and fish and chips of the kids menu.
Food was reasonably priced. All the locals were really friendly too and made us feel welcome. We will definitely stop in again on our next visit to Scotland.

I used to frequent gastro pub years ago then my friends moved away and we stopped. A few days we met there again and I was happy to see how they’ve changed the decor. It is food friendly and dog friendly. The staff are laid back and not pushy - which is alarming at first. They left us alone to eat and catch up and I loved that more than anything.
I had the truffle risotto - which I always order whenever it’s on a menu!
Only downside wasn’t enthralled with the house red wine.

A lovely freindly pub staff are always polite and helpful. A nice welcome with the log burner making it feel cozy. The Sunday lunch was delicious the beef was very tender and the desserts are lovely.
Our first stop on our first visit to London, and it was the perfect welcome to the city! The friendliest bartender-so welcoming and genuinely warm. Food was great-just what we needed after a long day of travel. And of course-BEER! Great decor and an inviting atmosphere make this a must whether it’s your first time or 100th visit!
Impressed with the exceptional service at this pub. The attentive staff created a welcoming atmosphere, and the real fireplace upstairs added a cozy touch. Opted for the hake fish pie-style dish, and it was absolutely delicious. A delightful experience overall.

Came in for lunch and had a great time. We ordered the mac n cheese (the garlic bread was amazing!!) and the red squirrel burger, the only complaint about that is that the burger was a bit dry, some more sauce or cheese would've perhaps helped, but otherwise really good!! The chips were absolutely amazing. Service was quick and lovely.
My friends and I celebrated our Christmas here. It was spectacular! Definitely come back for next year.

This was a lovely pub for drinking, with a flashy counter that feels welcoming! The gastropub layout incorporates classic brick walls and a cosy outdoor garden with greenery, Christmas decorations are included too in winter. I enjoyed a pint of Carling at the sheltered, comfy out door seating and was served by relaxed staff!
Really nice spot. Had the Sunday Roast with beef, good meal, and portion size. Service was very timely and servers were very nice.

Walkers of Whitehall, tucked away at the north end of Whitehall, next to the Silver Cross. A quiet sedate pub with a few floors to explore. A selection of keg beers on offer (may change soon I suspect) +5 pumps on the bar, only one in operation today offering Broadside + 1 with Rosie's Pig cider. All good with great staff here to help. Dog friendly bar/restaurant. Wasn't too keen on the mimosa and waffles though the buttermilk chicken tasted lovely. I found the waffles a bit too sweet for my liking (thought they'd be savoury waffles) and they were drowning in maple syrup. Maybe other folks prefer that. They did have a lovely variety for breakfast and brunch so I won't knock it, I'd come here again and try something different. It's nice that it's also dog friendly and the prices are reasonable considering location by Edinburgh Castle.

Outstanding experience. Lovely host and staff and a fantastic chef and team. Loved the Asian night. Cod and sake dish was awesome. Can't wait to go back.
Came here for a Sunday roast this weekend and it was easily the best roast I’ve ever had! Slightly more expensive but definitely worth the money. Lovely atmosphere and staff also. Especially Kiara who was so kind, friendly and attentive. A real credit to the team! Thanks so much, we will definitely be returning x
What a find. Stopped in there last night for dinner ahead of picking up the south downs way where we left off. Great food, and some very nice ales. Then, to top off, it was their open mic night. It was a joy to watch as Sarah (I think that was her name), not only performed some great numbers with the house band, but was SO encouraging and created such a supportive atmosphere for some young talent. A great community pub that I wish was my local.
Best Sunday roast we’ve had in London in years, myself my family (8 adults) thoroughly enjoyed! 10/10 and will be coming back.

Waiters are run off their feet upstairs and because of the loudness they have a tendency to approach the table shouting to the point it was irritating. They did this too often when all we wanted to do was enjoy each others company and hear the stories of each others lives.

Literally amazing cocktails. Not just high quality but well prepared and delicious -- and by a lovely and super helpful staff. We spent an hour nursing our drinks and hearing about amazing London spots we had to visit. I'd spoil which ones but you have to ask them yourself!
Eine schöner kleiner, typisch Britischer Pub, geführt von jungen Menschen die viel Wert auf Service und Wohlbefinden legen. Die verschiedenen Biersorten konnten vorher probiert werden, alles war sehr sauber und das Essen (bei uns Bürger) sehr lecker. Wir empfehlen den Pub definitiv weiter 👍

Super friendly & attentive here, the roast beef is my go to. You can’t go wrong with their Yorkshire puddings as they are crispy and delicious, they are not dry and hard like other places. Definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone.
Went during the day and it was empty (a lot of people were outside) so we were able to choose a table with ease. The food was ok. My friends had a pizza which they enjoyed, and the staff were happy to cater to their individual needs without issue. I had the aubergine caponata which was new for me and I was unsure what to expect. It was nice, it is a cold dish and does not look amazing in my view, but it is tasty.
There are a couple of GF options and vegetarian options. No noted vegan options.

I regularly stay away and normally country hotels. Never stayed in a pub before. Regular visitors to cotebrook shire horse centre. Decided to take a chance on the Alvanley Arms. So glad I did. Easy to get to, plenty of parking. Lovely friendly staff. Food was spectacular, very hot and very quick and shockingly low prices. Rooms are to die for. Super king bed, very comfortable and very homely. To be honest I didn’t want to leave. Thank you for everything. Keep doing what you do as you’re great at it. Definitely be back very soon.
I went here to dine alone around 21.15 on Thursday, and it was wonderful. The restaurant was pretty calm. They have small-company seating available (2-person booths in the back, useful for working or just being alone). Good food (they go light on the salt, very nice compared to the over-salted stuff you can get in some places). The steak was flavorful and cooked as ordered. The staff is so friendly and attentive. Music isn't too loud either. I'll probably return for lunch tomorrow. 😁

Lovely rooms, spacious and clean. We only stayed one night and was in and out so cant say much about the immediate area . Breakfast was good , service at breakfast could have been better if I’m completely honest but just a niggle.
I was in the area for a business trip with some colleagues and really just wanted a nice local pub to grab a meal and a drink. Found this spot on Google Maps and am so happy we did. Exceptionally warm service, great beers and cocktails, and the food was so much better than I would have expected! They have a bunch of starters you can choose from and order tapas style (and size). And much more than basic pub food. I had a skirt steak and asparagus roll that was just superb, one of the better meals I’ve had in a long time. They have a great outdoor, covered dining area, pub seating on the ground floor and apparently a dining room upstairs, though we didn’t make it up. Highly recommend.

I googled this place as we had a trip to foxlake and the black Agnes came up foxlake to there was 7 minutes so glad we visited here. Visited from Edinburgh definitely be back
Our dining experience at Walkers of White Hall in London was predominantly a feast for the senses, with a few areas that could use some enhancement.
The cuisine was absolutely superb. The fish and chips were exquisitely prepared, each bite a testament to classic British comfort food done right. The beef and ale pie was equally impressive, a beautiful blend of hearty flavors encapsulated in a flaky pastry. And the sticky honey mustard sausages were an absolute revelation, an innovative twist on a traditional dish that left us craving for more.
Our server deserves a special mention for her warm demeanor and excellent service. Her friendly attitude and attentive care significantly added to our overall dining experience, making us feel genuinely valued and well looked-after.
However, a couple of aspects could have been better. Despite the restaurant having ample seating, we were placed rather closely to other diners. This detracted from the ambiance and made our experience feel less private and more crowded than we would have liked.

Top notch! Great customer experience, even tho we came in with the kitchen barely opened. We felt welcomed by the friendly staff. The food was PHENOMENAL, beating many overpriced "gourmet restaurants" (Thanks chef Anthony)! The beef & ale pie and the cheeseburger we had were just mouthwatering!🤤 We were extremely pleased with the overall visit and would definately recommend to anyone looking for authentic pub with awesome food and service!

We tried our dinner in this restaurant. The restaurant is at the city centre. We tried a couple of dishes like lamb kofta, soup of the day, haggis etc. I liked the haggis dish but the lamb kofta was not so delicious. The chips were soggy and we could not enjoy the chips. The passion fruit and cranberry juice was nice too. The interior was good in looking and the restaurant is clean.
Great food and atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious and hot! I had the chicken sandwich and it was tasty! Would recommend highly
One of our go to pubs for an after work drink, great selection of beers to choose from. We also enjoyed the open mic night on a Tuesday a few weeks back which was so much fun. We had a roast there today, the beef and lamb were delicious. Only rating 4 stars as the manager who we had for food service could have been better.
Great Sunday roast location. We visited after running a half marathon near by and what a great place to refuel. They were clearly really busy but did a great job of keeping 16 of us happy.

Nice place for dinner and drinks. We been here before for drinks only and sat outside. This time we booked to try the pizza. The pizza is amazing. Great base and fantastic taste. One of the best pizza I had in London. The only things I would say that the Margarita was not great. It was too soft and a bit to watered down. Service was very friendly and quick. We will be back!
We popped in for Lunch. It was very quiet but that made it nice and relaxing. The place is very nice inside with an Island bar. The drink selection looks plenty with own craft ales and high quality spirits. The food was very nice and well worth the money. Credits to the Chef. The toilets are very clean and the staff are all very nice and friendly. I would absolutely recommend eating here as well as popping in with mates for a few drinks. A credit to the Leamington Hospitality scene.
Definitely a nice local place for a big dinner. The portion was very generous and I must admit that I struggled eating it all. You certainly get your moneys worth here! The fish and chips were perfectly crispy and fresh. Mac and cheese was good, but not as exciting.
The bar next door was perhaps more "cozy" in it's decor, but I found the restaurant clean and with friendly staff.

I had the battered fish which was well cooked and enjoyable.
There was a good selection of drinks available, unfortunately only instant coffee available, maybe invest in a coffee machine even just a small tassimo machine would have made a difference.

It was a lovely place and great food after a long day visiting Dunbar. I really recommend it. The service was very friendly and felt like visiting friends.
I have been to the Warwick on many occasion as it is just down the road from the office. I haven't been back in at least a year due to the pandemic but visited today and was pleased that nothing has changed!

We’ve popped in for a drink and liked the place a lot. Great variety of real ales, local beers and ciders. They have a nice collection of vinyl and it was a pleasure to listen to the proper music.
