I’ve been training at Prepare for Performance gym during my off-seasons, and it’s been an incredible experience. The program helped me improve my speed and strength while also strengthening my ankle after an injury. Julian even got me connected with a soccer coach while I was home for the summer, so I was able to have a team to train during my collegiate off-season.The staff genuinely cares about each athlete’s progress and tailors their approach to help you achieve your goals. Highly recommend for anyone serious about improving their performance!
Julian and his team did a great job of preparing me for my season. The workouts were specific to my sport and after some time I could notice my speed strength and other aspects of my game improving. They also focus a lot on injury prevention which helps me a lot.
I have been seeing Justin at RPT for several months and have had made great strides in my health care goals. Justin is professional and engaging. The studio is well equipped and the work-outs are varied so you are not doing the same work-out routine time after time.

I love this gym! It is so clean, so friendly, and SO FUN! The workout goes by so fast and you feel supported by other people that go often. I get so confused by the circuits and someone is always helpful. LOVE LOVE LOVE! PS: I used classpass bc i travel often so it was easy to join.
Used to be an outstanding place for everybody. But they first took out one basketball court and then two months the second one in favor of pickleball. So they have eliminated the mix of people/ages/activity level that used to be attracted to the place. Now its really more of a 45+ mostly so I ended my membership to where they have the ability to attract a more mixed age crowd that have more interests .
I can't say enough amazing things about Prepare for Performance, its owner, Julian, and the fantastic staff there. I am currently recovering from a shoulder injury, specifically a torn AC joint, and after extensive physical therapy, I reached a point where I needed to transition to a gym that could help rehabilitate my injury through personalized training. I wanted professional guidance to ensure I wouldn't reinjure myself.
Although I am quite familiar with the gym and lifting weights, my job as a nurse in a busy ICU is quite physical, which increases my risk of reinjury without proper conditioning. I didn't feel comfortable returning to the gym to work on regaining my upper body strength and conditioning alone. That’s when I found Julian and Prepare for Performance.
During our phone conversation, I found him to be highly professional, knowledgeable, and most importantly, patient and understanding. He answered all my questions clearly and encouraged me to come to the gym for a one-on-one consultation, which then transitioned into a trial. Since that first visit, I've been fully committed to my recovery by working with Julian and his team, and I haven’t looked back.
I have been a member for just over two months, and to say my strength and range of motion have improved significantly is an understatement. When I first started with the team, my strength and range of motion were limited, and I could barely lift more than 5 pounds. But now I can do full-body pushups, overhead presses, lateral raises, planks (high to low), bear crawls, sled pushes, and band-assisted pull-ups—the whole shebang. None of this would have been possible on my own in such a short time. Julian curates fantastic group personal training programs every month that encompasses not just power, strength, agility, and mobility but also weightlifting with correct form and technique, isolating muscle groups and enabling you to focus on progressive overload.
The small group setting allows trainers to walk through and correct form while motivating you to push yourself harder than you would alone.
The trainers, Aubrey, Joe, Craig, and Evan, are always hands-on, carefully monitoring my form to ensure I execute every exercise with proper technique, which is especially important when recovering from an injury. They’ve been flexible with my progress as well, adjusting my workouts as my shoulder improves and keeping me challenged without pushing me too hard too soon. They listen to me, and I listen to my body.
The atmosphere here is supportive and positive. Everyone, from the staff to the other clients, creates a motivating environment that makes you want to show up. I never feel judged, and the trainers are always available to answer questions or provide guidance if I need it.
Thanks to their help, I’m finally seeing real progress. I’ve regained strength and mobility in my shoulder that I honestly thought would have taken longer. I still have a ways to go, but I feel confident in my recovery, and I have the team to thank.
I have been a member of Equinox and Lifetime, and neither of those could ever offer me the value, training expertise, and commitment to my success that I have received as a member of Prepared for Performance for such a short time.

Nice facility with a lot to offer and incredibly friendly people. The staff are welcoming and helpful, and the members are just as kind, creating a positive and enjoyable environment.

There are 6 pickleball courts, massage chairs, and a wide variety of gym equipment. While the equipment is a bit on the older side, there’s plenty of it, and the open layout makes it easy to work out comfortably.

The shower room is well maintained and stocked with clean towels. Both steam and dry saunas are available, but the steam sauna had a slightly funky smell, so I skipped it.

Overall, the facility feels slightly dated but is still well maintained and offers good programs. The friendly atmosphere really makes it stand out.
My 9 yo son has been going to PFP for 6 months now and he loves his training sessions. He's a soccer player and I think he can see improvement in his agility and strength. More importantly he's learning to take care of his body and hopefully creating healthy habits that will last a lifetime. We love the flexibility of the class schedule too.
My boys (12 and 14) started going to PFP once a week since September and have benefited tremendously! They look forward to each session and have felt stronger and more explosive since joining. Everyone at PFP is great, well prepared, and fully engaged each session. Great decision to have joined!
I can't say enough great things about Teri at Orange Theory Fitness! Since starting her classes, my body has transformed significantly, and I’ve never felt more motivated. Teri is incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and always pushes me to give my best. Her energy and dedication are contagious, making every workout both challenging and enjoyable. I love E60 and the team at the Arlington location. They’re always kind but are constantly challenging me when it comes to the work outs. I love that they celebrate our wins when we have them, and are open to helping correct form or give alternative workouts. Since becoming a member, I’m excited to work out every morning and look forward to each class.
My son has been training at Prepare For Performance (PFP) for the past two months, and he absolutely loves it! The program focuses on improving speed, agility, and overall strength, and we’ve already started to see results. He enjoys it so much that he’s had two friends join him for training, and he would go even more if his schedule allowed. The staff have been great, and it’s clear they care about helping the kids reach their full potential. Highly recommend for anyone looking to boost performance and confidence!
I’m very glad I joined PFP! I thought the two week trial period was very generous and it gave me ample time to try out a number of classes and meet the instructors. The small class sizes make every class feel like a personal training session. The instructors take the time to demonstrate proper form and they monitor us closely to ensure safety and personal growth. The classes are challenging and never boring!! Come and see for yourself!

Not a real gym for serious athletes. It's more like a massively overpriced spa targeting "certain" demographics. A big reason for my membership was the basketball court and then, without warning, they removed the basketball court and expanded a MASSIVE pickleball court, so now a bunch of unathletic computer programmers and accountants can fool around in the space that loyal members (the ones they clearly don't want there) used to play basketball. I wonder why
My son has been working out at PFP for the last couple of months. He really likes it. Julian and the trainers are all very encouraging and he is enjoying working out. And a big plus is the app is super easy and convenient to use.

Lifetime facilities are always clean and there is typically plenty of equipment, machines and space in classes. Unfortunately the customer service (in general not just here) is essentially non existent and their turnover rate is atrocious.

Things like the hot tub and steam room are frequently out of order. They are eliminating most of the basketball courts for pickleball. And the membership increases about 20% every year.

Lifetime Fitness in Reston could be a premium experience but falls short in a few but VERY important areas. The amount of options and amenities are impressive, personnel is almost always helpful and welcoming, but cleanliness… definitely something they need to improve. You can tell they don’t clean the gym equipment very often, you can see the dust and dirt accumulated from months, it seems that the cleaning team does not pay attention to detail and frequency. Men’s restrooms look bad almost all the time, dirty towels everywhere, dirty lockers (they never clean inside the lockers), showers, and so on. I understand that it could hard to keep up with no collaborative customers, but Gainesville and Fairfax locations are way better on cleaning, so I could blame the Reston management.
We went for our first complementary class and did arrive 25 mins early instead of 30 mins early. It took us a little bit of time to find parking, which i mentioned as soon as I got in. When there we waited for additional 8-10 mins before anyone would talk to us other than saying hello. We weren’t allowed to do our free class as apparently we were ‘“late”. We called the Potomac OT as soon as we got to our car. And they offered to have us in their next class. We said we won’t be able t get there 30 mins early they said it’s fine! Potomac OT scheduled us for a class gave us a tour and were wonderful! Another fun fact my friend tried to buy a water bottle as a gift for us, and she wasn’t allowed to buy it as she isn’t a member. Kept her waiting for 15 mins before telling her that. Needless to say we will NEVER go to this OT establishment unless they change the front desk staff. I’m sure the classes are good, but the front desk ppl are just awful. I would love to say it’s not cz how we look, but I definitely felt like we were being treated differently because of how we look.

No other gyms in the vicinity charges fees for a one-time trial class. But Lifetime charged $50 and the manager Justin refused to issue a refund when I decided not to start a membership. Their policy is not conducive to new comers who need to try a class before committing to a full year membership.
On the other hand, VIDA has been very patient, encouraging and flexible so that you get to take time to make such important decision as choosing the right gym. I’m happy with VIDA.
I can't recommend this team enough. If you want a knowledgeable, motivating, and committed personal trainer, this is the place to go.

From day one, Pascal took the time to understand my goals, assess my fitness, and create a personalized workout plan that’s both challenging and achievable. After just a month, I’m already seeing progress in my strength, endurance, and overall fitness.

What really sets this group apart is their attention to detail and focus on proper form. They ensure I’m doing exercises correctly, which helps prevent injuries and maximizes results. Plus, their positive energy makes even the toughest sessions enjoyable.

If you’re serious about reaching your fitness goals, I highly recommend them!

Rockville is not my home studio but I'm always warmly welcomed & greeted kindly. I love that this studio class times are different than Park or Bethesda- provides good alternatives. The studio is well kept - clean and equipment is always in good condition.

This review is long overdue for someone with over 250 classes here. E60 has the best strength workout classes out there. They are challenging but fun and the trainers are skilled professionals who actually care about your experience during classes. The facilities are well maintained and management really puts their customers first. If you haven’t checked it out yet, what are you waiting for?!
I have been on a fitness journey most of my life. I have trained with other trainers here in Wichita but never saw results or stayed motivated. But that was until I found Go Dolla Fitness. I have been training for almost two years now and it’s because I love the workouts, the atmosphere and I’m actually seeing my body change. This gym is a gym where all fitness levels are there, all body sizes are celebrated and other clients will cheer u on. Dolla will push you and motivate you to show you that you can lift heavier, do one more rep or run for 15 more seconds. He has packages that can accommodate any time frame and budget as well. He offers group training or individual sessions as well. The workouts vary: dumbbells, kettlebells, barbells, rope slams and whatever he thinks up for you.

Not only can you workout here, but they offer meal preps: from healthy breakfasts, lunches and dinners and even snacks. You can meet your nutritional goals along with meeting your fitness goals.
You will not be disappointed in this gym. It has been my best investment in myself. You will get results!!’
If you are African American DO NOT GO. They do NOT want your business. And don’t deserve to have it. Despite being the First person to arrive for class more than 15 minutes prior to start time, and having submitted the forms online, the front desk, Chloe and Shana, refused to allow me in class. They said they needed more time to “get to know me better.” I was a member at OTF for years pre-pandemic and was considering rejoining. Not after how I was treated. NO ONE called nor did they send any text message or email stating that if I was not there more than 30 minutes prior to class that I would be refused admission. No one class participants were at the studio when I arrived. They had ample time to “get to know me.” Upon seeing me, however, they decided to decline my entrance and admission to class. TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE.

Had to come back and edit my review again because while I love the kids academy part of this gym, (and would give it 5 stars solely based on that) someone needs to start monitoring the recovery section and making sure people are fair with their use of the equipment. There are a handful of people who repeatedly use machines that are limited to 15 minutes and (even with people waiting in line) restart the clock. Or they jump the line because their spouse is using the machine so they just hop in, etc. Generally just very rude people. I often have to give up waiting and end up leaving.
I use orange theory as a supplement to some of my other workouts. Not only does it force me to keep up on my cardio, but keeps things interesting with variety and movements I wouldn't typically do on my own. I've been to a handful of OTF studios and UTC is by far my favorite. It's clean, has a great layout and the coaches are super motivating and give awesome pointers and instruction. Love the new offering of strength or cardio only classes!
I’ve been going to OTF for years and this location has been my favorite by far. The studio is super clean and easy to navigate. The coaches are all so approachable and encouraging. I really feel like I’m hanging out with friends while I’m getting an amazing workout. The new addition of strength classes has really helped me reach my fitness goals as well!
Orangetheory UTC is one of my favorite studios! From outstanding coaches like Fidel, Chiara, Abby, and Nik to the kindest SAs like Mave, Lily, and Caroline you will always feel welcomed on your fitness journey. They have built such a great community at this studio that makes working out incredibly enjoyable.
This OTF studio is fantastic! The coaches are extremely motivating and knowledgeable, they always have times for personalized tips and instruction. The office and front desk team are very welcoming and friendly. Really easy parking always plenty of spots.
Can't recommend Neely and Sweat Society enough. I have been working with Neely on nutrition consulting. Not only do I feel better, but I feel more empowered with knowledge, as she walks you through the science and gives you practical tools to implement in your life. Her dedication to wellness is evident and I encourage anyone looking to prioritize themselves, go see Neely!
I love OrangeTheory! The class format keeps me motivate and I get a great workout every time. The staff at UTC is awesome! The front desk ladies make me feel welcome and made the effort to get to know me personally. The coaches are fun, energetic and quick to give tips and praise. I’m so glad I found OrangeTheory and highly recommend it, especially to those that like someone else to structure their workout for them. :D
Used to be good before current management took over. Now classes are canceled without warning and bad excuses ushered daily. The studio itself is fine and kept in good shape but the coaches are all new and rotating. No head coach and very little community fostering. Have had four head coaches in less than a year and all keep leaving after a few months. Some of the coaches are good but sadly only one has been at the studio for more than 6 months, most get moved to a different location as soon as they become more established replaced by new coaches. Members keep leaving because of how poorly is run and thus many classes are empty.
Should add that these concerns have been shared with studio management multiple times via emails, calls and even tried contacting corporate. I have even voiced them to old management who insisted things would get better soon with little to no results. A new head coach has joined (4th in a year) but classes are still getting cancelled without any warning due to them depending on substitute coaches.

Really fantastic studio that does weight training and cardio right. Circuit style training with dumbbells, barbells, and body weight/bands. Most classes are a hybrid of cardio and weight training, but also available are classes for just strength training. Classes are rotated between upper/lower/total. Really accommodating for scaling options or injuries. I feel like a lot of group workout classes you lose the strength portion - either not enough variation of weights for everyone or too much bouncing around between exercises to be impactful - but e60’s rotation actually has some sense to it! Been going here for years
I have been working with Neely as my personal trainer for about a year now and I am so happy I started my fitness journey with her! She is so knowledgable about everything about the body and I have seen great results both physically and mentally. Not only is she great at her job but she is also so kind and loving and truly cares about you as a person. She is always there if you have questions or need anything at all, and truly just wants to help you be the healthiest and happiest version of yourself. I am so lucky I found her to be on this journey with!
Justin is a great trainer. I’ve trained with him for two years and feel stronger in every part of my body. You work out there one on one, which is much better than using a trainer in a commercial gym. He is able to customize a work out for any body type and he trains people of all ages.
I had my first appointment for a hypervolt and arpneuro session last week and WOW! It was SO much better than I expected it to be.
I started off with a very stiff neck from sleeping a few nights before. She started off gently and increased the strength as I requested. By the end, I had much better neck movement and the stiffness was gone!

Regular massages disappoint me about 75% of the time. This seems much more precise in its effectiveness. Highly recommend!!!

Her studio looks spacious and perfect for fitness training if you are interested in that. She also has parking on site which is very nice and convenient, especially in Hillcrest.

I had never worked with a personal trainer before and the idea was always very intimidating to me. I have always had struggles with working out and finding a good rhythm of what type of workout worked best for me. After some searching, I decided to give Neely's studio a shot. I was pleasantly surprised at how personable and invested she was in my goals and making sure I didn't have pain when working out. She is such an encouragement when giving guidance and leading me through a workout! She is also incredibly accommodating to differing levels of ability - I have some back pain that can flare up at times and she altered some of my workouts to accommodate what my body needed. Training with her has helped me learn how to properly care for my body and my back on a daily basis as well. I have loved working with her and I highly recommend her if you're looking for a positive and inspirational experience in working out!

I've been attending the Arlington location for 1 year, and can't say enough good things. From the cleanliness of the gym to the friendliness of the staff, it's a joy to visit! The workout classes alternate between an upper, lower, and total body focus, and the instructors keep the workout stations interesting and challenging! Included in the 60 minute workout are also a pre- and post-workout stretch. Admittedly, one of my favorite things about E60 among other group fitness classes in this area is the unspoken mantra to "go at your own pace". Lastly, E60 is a great way to build community; everyone I've met in this class is super approachable and sometimes get together for post-workout hangs!
I’ve been to various Orange Theory locations and this one is AMAZING - i took classes with 3 separate instructors (Nik, Fidel, Chiara) - they were all really helpful with maintaining form and keeping things challenging but motivating - I definitely felt like I was in great hands. Side note - I also love the layout of the space - it’s really easy to know your spot. Cannot recommend highly enough!
Great studio in a great location. I moved to DC over a year ago and have been very pleased with OTF 14th st. Shout out to Tyler, Chase and Jihad…they’re my faves! You can’t go wrong taking a class with them!
If there were 6 stars I would rate this place just that. I am in awe of the training I had with them, I have been in my fitness journey on and off for the past 8 years and have gone to multiple studios, and personal trainers in the NoVA area to find the right fit for me, my body and something that was challenging enough as well. Clarendon Personal hit all these in just the first session and every session I continue to take.
I am someone who can tend to want to slip off my fitness journey every now and then but with them… nope, they pushed-me, encouraged me, reminded me of what I’m capable of, and were so consistent with their communication in and out of the center, that I ALWAYS felt so welcomed and appreciated going to work out with them. My body thanked me each time after the sessions, even though I did feel sore and felt every body part being put to work …it felt amazing because I felt i was getting my moneys worth and felt like I accomplished workouts I wouldn’t of ever thought I would do. I walk out proud of myself and thankful to have found a personal training center that focuses on me and actually puts the personal to personal training.
Chels is hands down, the BEST trainer. She understands your goals, your strengths and weaknesses. She is very caring. All the trainers there are very supportive and cheer you on when you think you can’t do it. They’re so welcoming. This gym also has everything you need to achieve your goals and more, plus it’s super affordable. Definitely recommend. They also overnight oats have that are so worth trying!!!!

I have really missed my workouts at E60 since moving away - Erin, Joe and Jennifer are amazing at what they do and were always ready to help and correct me when I needed it. When I first started I was extremely intimidated because I had never worked out properly before, but even if I'm the weakest person in the class, I have never once felt like I didn't belong there and was always given the space I needed to take things at my own pace. Bonus points for the cute drawings on the window inside that always made me smile!
Training with Chelsea has been the best investment I could've made for myself! She's motivating and truly cares about helping you reach your goals throughout your fitness journey. She's so nice, fun, and easy to work with but she isn't afraid to keep you in line and hold you accountable which is exactly what I need! Couldn't recommend her enough!
I have been working with Pascal and Yulia for slightly over a month, and I already lost about 8lbs, and now I can do many of the exercise/technic motions that I was not able to do.

If you are looking for personal training that provides comprehensive, professional support customized to your goal, do not look further, and I would strongly recommend you to consider working with Pascal and Yulia at least for 1-2 months. Pascal totally changed my mind and understanding of diet: I had been on an pretty expensive dietary program where you replace two regular meals with protein shake, etc., and Pascal "saved" me from that, teaching me how I can enjoy regular food while still losing weight by helping me understand the importance of hormones and 1:1 coaching on my nutrition (pure coaching! and not asking you to buy stuff like others!). Working with Pascal, I lost weight much "more" and "faster" than when I was on that dietary program, and I am really enjoying my life with good real food and better health thanks to him. He genuinely cares about your goal and reaching that goal in a "right and healthy" way, which I really appreciate. Yulia is truly amazing in providing the right types of exercise for your body and explaining how each motion should be done for the best result. I very much enjoy working with her and strongly recommend her if you are looking for a great trainer who really knows stuff.

I am planning to continue to work with them for at least the next 5 months , so I will share updated review with my further progress.

Wow wow wow! I ❤️this studio. Coaches and staff are welcoming and helpful. I especially love Coach Roula! (I’m from Michigan and have been to a few other OTfs. )
I joined OTF Rockville South in October 2021. My cardio endurance and muscle strength have greatly improved since then. I love that the workout template changes every day, and I really enjoy the signature workouts and monthly challenges. There is ample parking available at this location, which I greatly appreciate compared to other studios I’ve visited. All of the sales associates are wonderful and always willing to answer questions, especially Amanda and Chloe. My favorite coaches at this location (Sheina, Teri, and Sean) do a great job at explaining the templates, demoing exercises, pushing/motivating you through the workout, and supporting your fitness goals. If you’re on the fence about joining like I initially was, remember that YOU decide how intense your workout is, the coaches are simply there to guide and encourage you. In addition, there are multiple pricing options to accommodate essentially any budget.
I love coming here! The coaches are amazing and really care about your fitness goals. They really hype you up during your class. The facilities are clean and it’s located in a great area. I’ve tried a bunch of gyms but this one has kept me engaged and exercising here never feels like a chore. I always finish my workout feeling great.
I showed up to Neely’s studio feeling very unsure about working out. I had gained weight and was having pain in my knees and was very intimidated by traditional gyms. From the second I stepped foot in that studio, she put my mind at ease. She took the time to listen to my goals and eased me into every workout. Within a couple months of working with her, I was pain free and actually looking forward to working out with her every week! She is insanely knowledgeable, has variations for every move, and cheers you on along the way! She is a genuinely kind soul who is very dedicated to her clients. I highly recommend signing up for her training and nutrition sessions.

Love love love E60! I’m 55 with loads of injuries and they’re able to help me modify movements that don’t work for me and still make sure I get a great workout! Bonus: my husband loves it and has put on a lot of muscle and my 24 and 18 year old gym-bro sons love it too!!
Great workout and great people. I have been going to OTF Rockville South since October 2021. I have loved cardio for a long time, but struggled to do strength or weight training on my own. This place has been perfect for me, because it combines both. Never before have I done such consistent strength and weight training.

I also really appreciate that I haven't heard any of the trainers or front desk staff promoting unhealthy eating habits and I believe this place is welcoming of fitness at any size. Gyms and wellness places can get toxic, so I love this place for supporting everyone.
The staff here are incredible, and I really feel like orange theory UTC has helped change my life. The classes are so fun, and the coaches and staff are all so friendly and encouraging. I’ve lost weight and I feel 10x happier after each class!
Chelsea is one of the most motivational people I know! She will not let you coast and is very understanding at the same time. One thing about Chels is she is not going to let you talk down on yourself. If you need 1:1 training I highly recommend her! Have seen so much growth mentally and physically and I have been told so by others as well ever since I started training!

Aero dance class is a private school I went there a few days ago. My friend is learning dance there so I went to see her dance.

I started training with Justin because the Army came out with new PT standards called the ACFT (deadlifts, sprint drag carry, hand release triceps push ups, power throws, and more) and not surprisingly, I had trouble passing some of these events as a petite, non-athletic female. In less than 4 months after training weekly with Justin, I went from being able to do zero triceps push ups to now being able to do 10 (minimum for passing), and from being able to throw only 3.5 meters to now over 4.5 meters. I’m glad to report that the last diagnostic ACFT I took, I passed! If you need results, Justin is the one. He is very knowledgeable but approachable and he will work with you toward your goals, whatever they may be. He is also very flexible with his schedule. There were several occasions I had to reschedule last minute because of my busy work schedule as a fellow (physician), and Justin was very accommodating. Well worth your time and money!!
After 12 years of several gym memberships and spending thousands of dollars on personal training. I finally got to be part of orange theory where I finally found a workout place and style that fits my needs the best.

Keeping in mind that a workouts place won’t be the best without having amazing coaches and staff . I felt encouraged to come to otf UTC daily and for the last 3 years . Shout out to coach Fidel for his huge support in helping making drastic changes to my health and fitness journey . And shout out to Carrie for great management and being on top of any issues with scheduling or. The team at Clarendon Personal Training changed my life. Not only did they help me understand my body, achieve weight loss, and help me feel stronger, they helped me identify a health issue I had been struggling with for years and helped me find the resources I needed to get better. I came to them with chronic hip pain looking for the best ways to work out to accommodate my pain, and Pascal immediately identified something more was wrong, and sent me to a physical therapist who helped me identify a deeper issue. I have been working out remotely with Go Dolla Fitness for awhile now, specially with Chelsea. I would highly recommend this service, even though I’m doing my training sessions remotely I couldn’t have done this without Chelsea’s constant motivation. Chelsea has kept me going for all my workout session, even as I deal with some healthy issues, she has been super encouraging and will quickly adjust the workouts if need be. I’m super grateful for this service and especially for her. Not only am I learning workout techniques but she’s constantly giving me diet advice and is always available if I need help or have questions regarding certain food and the nutritional value. Getting this one service will not only help you with your weight loss journey but it will have help you start a healthy lifestyle.
I absolutely love Go Dolla Fitness. My fitness journey with Dolla is one of the BEST I have ever had and my results have been amazing. In the one-hour class, I consistently burn 1000+ calories, intensely lifting weights, rowing, and running. Afterward, I always feel cardiovascularly awesome. Sometimes delayed onset muscle soreness the next day reminds me to rest and recover a day in-between workouts.
I have been working out at Dolla Fitness getting the Chelsea experience for a while now and let me tell you...…it's definitely one of the BEST personal training I have ever experienced!! Chelsea pushes you to your limits and then some and you actually want to push yourself to make her proud!! She is so motivating and a true example herself overall! She holds you accountable and when getting this experience you actually WANT to be the best because that's exactly how she makes you feel!! I will continue my journey at Go Dolla Fitness with the Chelsea experience and maybe one day I will look and feel as good as Chelsea does!!
Orange Theory Rockville got me back into working out after working out from home lost its motivation and fun for me! It was so great to be back in a class environment and I finally feel like me again. I love that every class is what you make it - you can choose to push yourself in different areas and all levels including showing up are encouraged. Coaches Sheina and Lucinda are amazing, and the whole staff couldn't be nicer. So glad I found this little community!

UPDATE from 2024: I still love OTF Rockville South as much as I did the day I joined in 2021. It's the best way to get a complete workout and achieve well-rounded fitness with just a bite-sized time commitment. The coaches and staff at OTF Rockville South are all amazing, especially the regular afternoon/weekend coaches Teri, Sheina, and Sean. The studio is also well-managed - whenever anything breaks down, they fix it as quickly as they can. This is literally the first time in my life I've ever stuck with a fitness routine for more than a year and I don't see myself quitting anytime soon.

Original Review from 2021: I joined the Orangetheory Fitness Rockville South studio as a founding member and I am already in love and addicted. The equipment is top-notch and I really like the integration with your heart rate monitor, app, and online account. In addition to the detailed and real-time instructions from the coach, you also get real-time feedback on all the screens.

After only two sessions, I am already getting the hang of it to the point where I am no longer nervous about being able to do anything correctly. And even though I am not able to perform all the reps of all the exercises just yet, they structure the workouts in a way that challenges everyone without discouraging anyone regardless of fitness level. So I can already see myself improving greatly in the future.

The team at Orangetheory Fitness Rockville South are all energetic, positive, and encouraging. I've already made a few new friends among the other attendees, and even though there is a sense of camaraderie, there's also a sense of everyone doing their own thing throughout the workouts, especially once everyone is coming and going between the rowers and floor exercises at different paces/times.

Perhaps the most important advantage that Orangetheory has over all of my previous gym experiences (and there have been many) is that it packs so much of a complete workout into just one hour, and it sets aside both time and space/equipment just for me. The workouts change every time, and the instruction is so good that I never have to worry about preparing anything or thinking at all - I can just follow the coach's instructions along with the animations on the screen the moment I forget how to do something.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone, especially if you have had trouble feeling like you fit in at other gyms/workouts.
I have been working out at Go Dolla Fitness for a little over a year now and it has been worth every penny! After turning 40, I had gained a substantial amount of weight and was ready for a lifestyle change. A friend of mine referred me to Billy, and I’m so glad she did. I am down 40 pounds and have lost 12 inches off my waist! Aside from the weight loss, I am also so much stronger. The proof is truly in the results. As a trainer, Billy will push you to your limits and hold you accountable, yet still make your workout fun. He is very knowledgeable and will be your biggest hype man. He is just as excited to see your results as you are. Go Dolla Fitness also offers meal preps that make dieting very simple. They are affordable and actually taste great! I can’t say enough good things about my experience at this gym. I’m thinner, stronger, but more importantly healthier and more confident. Billy has honestly changed my life for the better and I’m so grateful to be part of his team!
I started personal training and nutrition with Neely back in March, it had been a year since Covid started and I needed to get back on to it. It had easily been the best decision I made!

On the nutrition side Neely starts with making small changes that are completely doable, which makes you feel like you are set up for success and can actually accomplish your goals. She educates you on what you are eating and helps you make healthy swaps for food you already love. The education part has been huge for me because now I am able to pick out new healthy food items at the grocery store by knowing what to look for and what to steer clear of. The best thing to come out of changing my diet is my sleep has never been better!

On the personal training side Neely is a rockstar! She completely tailors the workout to your goals, soreness scale, and energy level. I am someone who works on my feet all day and sometimes by the end of it I really don’t want to exercise and be on my feet more. I let Neely know when I get there how I am feeling and she alters the exercises so I still get a killer workout but don’t completely deplete my energy.

Not only is Neely great at what she does but she genuinely cares about you and makes sure to check in on days when you don’t see her. Like i said earlier easily the best decision I have made for myself!

I hate working out, but I love working out with Neely! I met her a couple of years ago when I was trying to make significant lifestyle changes and she whipped me into shape. With some life changes, I fell off the wagon, but jumped back on a few months ago, and not only have I never felt better, but I lost my COVID weight! She's one of the rare trainers that cares about you individually and helping you achieve your health goals. She truly takes the time to listen to you and takes your goals into consideration--in addition to your personal preferences. You won't regret scheduling a workout with Neely!

I found Sweat Society Fitness, about 3 years ago when a friend came into town and we took a "Babes with Biceps" class together. It was such a warm and welcoming studio from the moment I arrived.

The class was enjoyable and my instructor, Neely Waiche, really took the time to give everyone the attention needed at their fitness level to get their best results. Even though we were at two very different fitness levels we left that class renewed and proud of our effort that day.

Since then I have recommended this studio to two other friends and even followed them when they moved to a larger studio. All the instructors are kind an informed and very patient, but the majority of my classes remained with Neely.

In those years, she continues to be a great friend and checks in on me often especially when she hasn't seen me in class. That care and dedication has kept me motivated even in a pandemic when I switched to online zoom classes. She's never stopped keeping our exercises creative and challenging nor has she stopped making sure we are motivated and taking care of ourselves. Sweat Society is a great "gym" but also and amazing support system for anyone wanting to learn more about nutrition and Fitness.

Can't wait to return to class in person someday!

E60 fitness is hands-down my favorite gym. The workouts are always new and engaging and the instructors care about not only getting you to sweat, but also making sure you are staying safe. I tore my meniscus a while back and my knee mobility isn’t what it used to be. All of my instructors were always happy to give me alternate exercises if I wasn’t able to complete one of the circuits. I specifically want to shout out Jake and Shilpa for being such wonderful and down-to-earth instructors, whether it be a 5:30am or a 5pm workout.

Overall a great place to exercise, especially if you challenge yourself to be your healthiest self.
It’s so nice to have a gym that I can visit on business trips. I enjoyed my time at this studio. Especially Coach Abbey who gave me the same attention and guidance as studio regulars. Great class, heading back today before I leave to head home.
I usually go to classes at the Orangetheory on Capitol Hill, but this location is near work so I stopped into a 4:15pm class on Wednesday. What I love about OTF is that each location is so on brand. It was the same experience I have at my home location from the friendly desk staff to the great instructors (shoutout to Abby!) to the music to the structure. The difference in this location is the space. It's bigger than the one on Capitol Hill (well, at least the set up makes it feel bigger).

If you love intense, but doable workouts, this one is for you!
My experience at RPT has been nothing but positive. Justin is knowledgeable, professional, and he takes the time to develop.a personal exercise plan for each client...not a “one-size-fits-all” mentality.

Justin takes the time to listen to “where the client is,” and takes into account physical limitations, ability and experience. His gym has all of the latest machines and equipment, and it is clean and spacious.

I have been working with Justin for 10+ years, as have my children. No matter what your age or fitness level, Rockville Personal Training can meet your needs!
I just finished the 6 week challenge and met my goals! CF has some great trainers and they push you to do more reps and more weight during each exercise. They have a variety of classes & give you a meal plan to help you achieve your goals during the 6 weeks. A lot of self motivation combined with training can go along way! I’m excited to get my deposit back for the challenge :)
I just did the 6 week challenge at Clarendon Fitness. I loved it! I took the 6am class with Abdule and he challenged and encouraged me. It is definitely a no frills, no nonsense gym but with towel service. I just wish there were more time offerings for the classes. I reached my goals for the challenge and had a fun time doing it! The gym is well stocked and clean. There is a wide range of kettle bells, medicine balls and free weights, everything you would want for functional movement fitness training, power lifting, or general fitness and weight loss.
Group training at Clarendon Fitness is awesome! James is one of the best trainers I have ever worked with. He designs excellent workouts- they are super tough ( which is exactly what I am looking for), but he makes them fun and is very motivating. He gives helpful feedback and coaching on form, and always has great energy. I highly recommend this place!
Justin has been my personal trainer for the past several years. I find him to be extremely knowledgable about his profession. He is most personable, and is a positive fixture in the gym, always praising and encouraging me, sensitive to my strengths, weaknesses, and moods. He has gained my trust, as I believe he has my best interests at heart. My body has definitely benefitted from his workouts.

Justin is more than personal trainer, he cares about your wellbeing. He is very knowledgeable about different aspects of general health, providing you with valuable information, and refers you to useful resources when you need that. For example, I had to have an invasive procedure on my shoulder.Thanks to Justin, he referred me to an excellent physiotherapist who identified the issues and treated me address the problem. This eliminated going through an unnecessary procedure.

Justin has been my trainer for several years now. He is knowledgeable and careful to adjust the program to my needs and limitations. Over time, I've made significant progress toward my physical goals. But, more than that, Justin has made our time together both educational and fun. He is a complete coach.
Clarendon Fitness is without a doubt the best gym I've been to in the NOVA area. They have frequent classes at a variety of times; check out their website for specifics, it's updated often. In general, they're available before work, after work, and also on weekends. There are also more advanced classes for people who are already in fairly good shape, and I dare anyone to go to one and say it wasn't the most intense workout they've been to. The group class size is generally very small, under 10 people, and in the mornings as few as 3, and there are oftentimes specials for free classes to new customers. From what I understand they're also beginning to offer massage services.

Then, of course, they also offer private training sessions, which all gyms do. But the advantage you get at going to a smaller gym is that they can really be choosy in who they hire. You'd expect a personal trainer to be in excellent shape, and they are at Clarendon Fitness, but they're also very knowledgeable about nutrition, motivation, and teaching itself. Simply because someone is in good shape themselves doesn't necessarily make them a great personal trainer, it takes a variety of skills.
You're getting a lot for your buck - quality training, personalized attention, nutrition assistance, and results. I'd normally write more, but I'm about to head for their Monday evening class right now. Hope to see you there soon!
