The place had a strange smell and heat, and it was not that clean. The icecream itself was okay. The chocolate banana flavour mostly tasted like banana. The icecream also smelled like play-doh. I would not recommend the place or go back there.
*Need to hire more staff, the worker mentioned they only have 1 person per shift ( 1 person working the entire store ) and that’s very strenuous. Especially during the summer when it’s more busy… The staff there was great and the ice cream is good !
Mochidoki opened up in Soho with some lit mochi ice cream. How about a bento box filled with mochi? Let’s do an omakase box full of mochi instead. They also have their creations mochi which is a rotating selection of hand crafted mochi ice cream treats. Don’t forget holidays are coming and there’s nothing better than caviar with mochi, a collab with Pearl Street Caviar. Bite into the mochi with caviar bursting on the roof of your mouth.
First time having Van Leeuwen ice cream and it did not disappoint! The vegan dark chocolate fudge brownie was so rich and creamy. My friend had the vegan strawberry shortcake and loved it! Can't wait to try their other vegan flavors!

The shop is cute and well-organized, and the young woman at the counter is very courteous and helpful. My one star deduction is for how extremely sweet I found the mango flavor I tried. The skin and ice cream have excellent consistency but are much sweeter than I thought- and I love ice cream and eat it regularly! My husband had lychee and didn’t say anything, so maybe not all flavors are so sweet or it was an off day. Or it may be a matter of taste.
Delicious burgers. Fries hit the spot too. Free refills. I had a little wait for the food cause it was made on the spot. It has an upstairs dining room with a TV and soda fountain for your free refills. Bathrooms are also upstairs. No complaints at all. Food was delicious and service was great. One spot I'll be hitting up in the near future.
Good atmosphere. Food is a bit expensive. Nothing to scream about tbh. I had the BBQ Bacon Cheddar Burger.

Pictured is a two scoop cone with Cookie Monster & Red Velvet Cookie Dough Crumble. They’re known for their cruffs and ice cream bouquets. Moments before I got to this point of writing this review, I noticed the 3.9 rating that reviewers gave this cookie bakery. When I choose a restaurant to go to, from the Zagat dining guide, I want a rating of a least 4.3. I wish I had looked up the rating before I chose to go to Insomnia Cookies. The Oatmeal Raisin Cookie ($3.21 including tax) was bland, and its named ingredients here were not recognizable to me from its taste. I threw it out after two bites.
This store has everything! Canned goods, beverages, fresh produce, baked goods, cut flowers, household paper products, etc.
Wonderful customer Service, great selection of flavors that are unique. Plenty of customization for your orders if you don’t want a pre arranged menu item. Definitely worth a try for a new take on ice cream…. Plus a mason jar to go home with!!!

What a cute place! Many good flavors to choose from. An ice-cream for every alcohol of your choice - vodka, bourbon, whiskey, many more. You can opt for scoops, waffle cones, and sundaes. Cute merch available. I had dark chocolate whiskey caramel ice-cream - super good stuff. Sundaes are huge - about 3-4 scoops with goodies sprinkled on it.
I recently visited the creamery, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The staff was exceptional, providing excellent service with a smile. What truly stood out were the amazing combinations of drinks they offered. Each sip was a flavorful adventure, and I appreciated the creativity in their menu. Such delicious yogurt! Love NYC froyo! My kids love this place and it's so fun to have them do the handle and get their own froyo. It's like a little activity where actually they talk to me and smile.
I brought the Tequila Sunrise boozy sundae. It consisted of Mango margarita and Strawberry white sangria sorbets served in a keepsake Tipsy Scoop™ Barlour glass. It tasted good. You won't get drunk off it. The Boozy Sundaes cost 18 dollars plus tax.
I wanted to come to T.S. after seeing posts on IG. The experience was okay. The ice cream I chose was pretty good. I did taste the alcohol but more towards the bottom of the ice cream. The presentation of the ice cream in the glass is very nice. The 2 workers that served me were very nice. But the virgin small cup of ice cream is a bit expensive! I think the price needs to be reduced.

I came for the flight of different ice creams cause I thought that was a really cool concept, the flavors were so good and I saw they sell them in stores. So I'll be on the lookout for those pints you can buy at the store but I'll definitely come back to try more flavors out.
Dors the job, very nice ice-cream shop, but be aware that the tastes are not very strong. The dark chocolate flavor is a regular chocolate, and the strawberry was a bit bland. However, it’s my second time there and not the last !
Cool little soft serve ice shop with more Asian inspired flavours. Had the matcha and vanilla twist with a chocolate cone. I found if you really enjoy matcha to just get the matcha by itself because the vanilla did mute out the matcha flavours.
The food was good. Took time to get the food though. Not a fan of the wings but the burger and fries were delicious. The place was not clean, tables were dirty ( someone did eventually clean while we were there though).
Yummy!! At $16 for 4, it's a bit pricey for a mochi batch, but all of the flavors are intense and thought out! But they're really soft, not so sticky, and gooey and melty, so just know that they're not as frozen solid as most mochi, thus easier to quickly eat in one bite.

I go twice a week and spend about 125 dollars a week there getting my glace. I love the manager he is helpful nice kind and willing to help. The other staff is as well I don't know there names I wish they did. Since he has become the manager the place is sparkling clean and the staff are extremely helpful. It is always a pleasure to go there and I always tease them that I spend the most money which I do of any customer since I am hopelessly addicted to the chocolate glace and love it!! My name is Jacqueline Gold not sure why it says Robert Gold he is my husband he also loves the glace but does not go there!!
The Original Single Smashburger was quite good, but maybe my expectations were too high. I thought a smashburger was going to be some sort of new burger experience, but it tasted sorta like a Wendy's single. My son really enjoyed his chicken strips, though. There were a range of other brisket and chicken burgers that may have been really good. Maybe I'll have to try one of those.
The AC doesn’t really work too good which is a weird thing given it’s an ice cream place… the staff are friendly and prompt though so that helps. The donuts they use are stale and dry unfortunately, look good for pictures but would really help to have fresh or at least same day donuts. The ice cream barely helped the dryness of them. Cool novelty place but other than that wouldn’t care to go back unless they fix those things.
This was my first time trying Smashburger in NYC. There was a long line but we decided to wait. It took about 20 minutes to get 2 burgers and a fry. I was definitely expecting more of a flat burger patty that was crispy - not burnt but crispy. It was a pretty average burger that is comparable to McDonald’s that was double the price. The fries were very underwhelming. The restaurant itself was not very clean and everyone was fighting to use the washroom which was absolutely disgusting. Would not return with all the other food choices in NYC.
Nice service. There is a larger selection of mochis, personally I don't find the shell so tasty (too soft), the ice cream is tasty. Value for money is too expensive.

This store is impeccably managed. Attentive, efficient staff, the place is always clean despite teeming customers, full range of delicious flavors regularly rotated to be interesting while maintaining key core flavors to keep everyone happy. The manager, Lamire, runs a really tight ship and you can tell his staff both respect and like him. Team members like Melissa and Andre are professional, efficient and a pleasure to deal with. While the yogurt is delicious, it is the staff who make the place special and so addictive I make the effort to go every day if I can.
Friendly service and great presentation but the soft serve and Thai tea was very meh. I got the earl gray and it was very faint in taste, was more like vanilla with very subtle hints of tea. The Thai tea was not creamy, very watery and biter. The shop is small with two standing bar counters. They had a lot of people working behind the counter to get a bunch of orders out so it might have been rushed but as much as I liked the way it looked, it didn't tastes that good.
If I could give no stars, I would. The place is dirty and there are workers sleeping inside. Some with no shoes on and dirty feet. And there are workers sitting outside drinking. Terrible. How do they do business?

Great place in Chinatown! Went to get rolled ice cream they did not disappoint! Amazing little shop. They allow you to get unlimited toppings!!!
My partner and I went to this 16 handles and were so surprised by the number of flavors available! but otherwise it was a perfectly nice experience at the UWS 16 Handles the manger Lamire is a great manager and changed this store completely around its really clean and I will tell all my coworkers and friends to come back
Love this place. Great service and vibe. Ice cream tasted great. I could taste the spirits infused. No flavor disappointed me. The texture of the ice cream was very silky. Not overall sweet either. I went back I loved this place so much.

The soft serve and boba was very good. There is more soft serve than boba. Me and my best friend couldn’t finish ours so I recommend getting one to share but over all it’s very good, definitely want to go back and try other menu items.
Great staff, kind and patient. I tried that mango colada flavor sprinkled with almonds, and it was a blast. I definitely recommend people the doughnuts stuffed with ice cream. Quick tip: Try the cookie monster and take a 🤳.

Fantastic flavors! There were 6 of us, and most of us got different flavors, so we could try a variety of them. Everyone of them were great. Full flavors that you were able to tell what they were as soon as you ate it. Service was quick and easy.

They are located in a nice area but why are there 4 flavor options? The rest of the machines were out of service & then the service in non existent. After paying with card I was going to ask for my receipt but the cashier turned her back on me & left.
My boyfriend and I decided to go for a ride to get dessert at this boozy ice cream shop. When we arrived I was lucky to find parking in the front. The shop is small and cute. I ordered the spiked coffee ice cream, and my boyfriend got the white sangria sorbet. It came out to about $14. When I dug in the ice cream was very good! It didn't taste too boozy, but it was still good. My boyfriend enjoyed his as well! We had a good experience!
Not very impressed by their flavors. It’s not easy for us to find out the pricing information, and we did not ask since we just wanted to go in and out. The taste of the frozen yogurt was not impressive either. It also was not easy to get the frozen yogurt out of the machine. But at least we were happy to try it so we do not need to wonder when we walked by.

For my first time trying this location I was a little disappointed. Burger was okay and fries seemed not so fresh. Not to mention the onion rings I found chilling with my order of fries. Seating is upstairs and most of the tables had left over napkins and food from previous guests. A cleaner space & fresher food could’ve made this a better experience.
They have many different kinds of flavors, but their BEST in my opinion, is their Passion Fruit Mochi 🤤💕

I stumbled across this place and was glad I did. They had such a wide range of delicious flavors. They tasted so much better than store bought mochi. I was pretty upset I only got two pieces, because they tasted so good and leave you wanting more. I will definitely be back for more!

I've been meaning to come here for years so it was definitely an exciting experience to have something from here! I decided on the strawberry sangria sorbet and it was great! Smooth and could taste the sangria. The associate was super nice and vibes well, despite the long line. It was definitely worth it. Excited to come back and try the sundae one day! They also have non boozy ice cream as well and serve birthday cakes.
worst store ever. ordered from them on grubhub and my order never arrived at all. everytime i called them they were unhelpful and even started yelling at me saying why can’t i understand after telling me my order will be two hours late don’t bother ordering from them
Amazing ice cream. They have such unique flavors. They have your regular flavors but they also have a lot of delicious and unique specials. I got the lemon poppyseed corn muffin and it was soooo delicious. I am already craving it again. Prices are a little bit high but for a treat it is worth it. They also have plenty of vegan flavors.

Two times in a row they mark the order as delivered. Nothing there. Then 30 - 50 a call center calls me to ask me if I want the order and that the driver is coming soon. Unbelievable. Nothing gets through to them when you talk to the call center. They don't understand, never admit they did anything wrong. Absurd service.
I recently ordered from GoPuff through Grubhub and I have to say, it was a complete disaster. My order was over an hour late and when I finally received it, I discovered that some items were missing. Upon contacting customer service, I was told that they couldn't do anything to rectify the situation and I was left feeling completely frustrated and disappointed.
To make matters worse, I later discovered that some delivery drivers have been known to steal items from customers' orders. This is completely unacceptable and it speaks to the lack of professionalism and ethics within this establishment.
In addition to the terrible delivery service and potential theft, I also found that the overall experience with GoPuff was lacking. The ordering process was confusing and it was difficult to navigate the website. The customer service was unhelpful and unresponsive, which left me feeling like my concerns were not being taken seriously.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise anyone against ordering from GoPuff through Grubhub or Seamless. There are plenty of other options out there for delivery services that are reliable, professional, and trustworthy. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment and choose a different establishment.

I came here after dinner around 8pm and a few of the best flavors were gone but everything else was really good too. Shared with my family and we enjoyed every single flavor. Pricey but honestly store bought ones can’t compare. Fresh and soft mochi and not overly sweet! The lady was so helpful and kind as well
I ordered simple things from this place. They were 2 hours late with the order and the salad was completely incorrect. When I opened it and saw that it was not what I requested and not something I would eat, I threw it way. I contacted Seamless to get a refund of my 2 hours late salad. The store then called me to ask me directly what was wrong. I told them and they asked me to send the salad back! Are you crazy!?!? I opened it and threw it in the trash. Do you want me to take the salad out of the trash and give it back!?!?!? I am a chef with Food Protection Certification! That is 100% a no-go! I am definitely reporting this incident to the NYC Department of Health! An unsanitary request! I wonder how many other things like this they do!?!?!
Myself and family love ice cream! While we was in New York we stopped at a popular ice cream spot Surreal Creamery! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the staff is so nice and the ice cream is so good! I had the Taro bubble tea with Taro ice cream and it’s something about these purple ice creams but I love them! So New York calls their purple ice cream Taro where Boston uses Ube they are both the same to me they both taste so amazing on my pallet I’m definitely becoming a fan of different flavors! So when you’re in New York and you have a craving for some ice cream or bubble tea stop by Surreal Creamery you can get a mason jar or you can put your own flavors together and get creative with your ice cream I mean endless possibilities but I highly recommend getting the Taro ice cream get anything Taro it is so good!
Ordered from here on Grubhub, 2 hours later Grubhub (not me) cancelled the order after three attempts to get delivery updates to which the store kept saying 20 more minutes, half hour later..15 more minutes. I get a call from the store saying the driver is almost here and to place the order again. I offered to just pay him via credit card but that I’d like to check my order first. Driver standing 10 feet from me and the store owner calls me a fraud for wanting to check if everything is there before giving him my credit card info. 2 hours late with prepared food, yeah I want to check it!! So he says okay have a nice day and the driver looks at me confused and leaves with my groceries. What kind of business are you running? Why accuse an honest customer of being a fraud for wanting to check if everything is there after waiting two hours??? The guy was yelling at me on the phone at this point saying that so many people do this kind of fraud..what?!?! Gross business.

A little pricey. I have no idea how much it is per ounce (literally wasn't posted anywhere inside that I could see OR on their website, wish it wasn't so secretive...) but the picture shown cost $6.25 if that helps. Delicious, of course. And limited toppings.
$66 order never delivered after nearly two hours. Called Gopuff and got some guy in a foreign call center who kept promising me it was ‘still coming’ even though the app showed that they were closed and not taking orders anymore for the day. Had to make a second call and go through the app’s customer service to get a refund because the Gopuff guy said he couldn’t help me except to tell me to keep waiting for the food to magically show up. He said because I ordered fresh food aka chicken wings, along with some regular grocery items, this is why it was taking so long. As if two hours was a normal timeframe to be at and still not have it delivered.
Horrible service - waited over an hour past "estimated delivery time" for something to be delivered. When I contacted the restaurant, I was told it was on the way. Another 30 minutes went by (should take 10 mins to get to me from the restaurant) then they told me the delivery already happened. They told me the delivery happened 10 minutes before I even placed the first call to them, when they said it was "on the way"... So was it "on the way" or delivered? Bogus place, don't order.
My 10 year old wanted Insomnia Cookies for a late birthday treat..we went in and as crowded as it was, the staff had the store and crowd very organized and were so friendly and pleasant. A young man helped us and gave my son the frosting he wanted for his birthday. We definitely will be back , because not only were we treated so wonderful, the cookies were delicious ! Thank you for a wonderful experience, especially as busy as they were :)

Great ice cream with unlimited wonderful toppings but what stood out to me even more was the visual treat in seeing the ice cream made in front of our eyes. Six different flavor options (taro and matcha as well) and 15 plus toppings. Prices are decent at about $9 per rolled ice cream bowl. Definitely recommend.

We had previously tried the ube soft serve which is delicious but not the best soft serve we ever had. We actually wanted to try the black sesame one but they were out then.
On this visit, they had it in stock and it was so good. The soft serve didn't just have the flavor but also the tiny bits of ground black sesame and the creamy, nuttiness texture of it too. Definitely one of the best black sesame ones we've had.

I have tried three times to order or purchase items here and they never have basics. No i dont need a $6 pizza delivered to me for $15 in delivery fees. This is warehouse and should mot be allowed in residential neighborhood.
I had a stuffed donut here today and loved it! They have a variety of ice cream flavours and the donut is so soft and tasty they compliment each other perfectly.
My favorite location to get some insomnia cookies!! I love their cookies! I’m a big fan of chocolate chip but hands down their peanut butter is my favorite! Warming them up makes them taste even better! I love that you can order online and pick them up! I’ve ordered online a couple of times but this time I just went inside…thank god there wasn’t a line like there usually is hence why I order to pickup. I also love the fact that there right next to Pinkberry! Can’t beat that!

A great place to visit if you want a unique and Instagrammable dessert experience. Overall it was tasty but the ice cream could have been better. Staff is really friendly and they allow sampling. Prices are okay (Stuffed donut with 2 scoops is $9). Good selection of flavors (15+ with one vegan). A good one time experience.

My friend recommended this place and finally I made it there! Got Taro Bubble Tea Matcha Taro Swirled Ice Cream. The portion is soooooo big and way too big for me to finish. The tea and ice cream is yummmm not too sweet which I like a lot. My friend got Earl Grey bubble tea which also very good. Not too sweet. Ice cream itself is also good.

I’ve ordered grocery deliveries from them and they have been great! But the highlight is their brown sugar latte with oatly. It’s the best tasting coffee I’ve ever had!!! I feel like I cannot go back!
I absolutely love soft swerve so my opinion is biased. I usually go to the one on Allen Street but this location is closest to the movie theater that I frequent. This time I tried something new I got the Matcha green tea and Vietnamese coffee combo and it was so good. The Matcha green tea sort of tasted buttery. I’m actually not a fan of Matcha drinks so I was shocked when I tried the ice cream and it taste so good. The Vietnamese coffee is sweet and creamy but not like too sweet. Loved it will forever return
Omar helped me with my order and he made it a wonderful experience. The store itself is really small but the staff is pretty speedy. Great visit. Will go back
Great service, good selection of items to include some interesting Asian inspired products, other import items too, and long business hours. The owners, Paul and Man an, are caring and willing to please. Excellent choice for household staple foods with the rows of items packed to the ceiling! They offer a delivery service, but that's a different company, so know that detail.
The service was pretty quick. I ordered the number 1 and asked for the waffle to be added on the side. I added my own pocky to it and placed the waffle bits on it since it was a to go order. Looks appetizing but the ice cream wasn't very flavorful. I love rolled ice cream and this didn't have as much flavor as I would've wanted. The place has super cool art work on the walls! It's quite fitting and contributes to the vibe of it here.
Your Gopuff driver app sucks. When get notification and press available screen turn grey. Hours don’t pop up at all and when when dropping every Thursday app move slow and the shift you pick up are just rotating and not being pick up. Several drivers complained about this too and nothing have been done. What was the point of the recent update? Cause it even more worst then before.
Stuffed is an excellent place to go!! Stuffed has fun flavors in a great location! When I was there I got the “Thai Kwon Dough” and I highly recommend it! I am not a coffee ice cream eater but I would definitely get it again. Even if you come to Stuffed hungry, you will leave.. well… STUFFED! I went with my family and they both got Cookie Monster with Cookie dough ice cream and they loved it! Awesome place!
First time soft ice cream in US. We got black sesame flavor and Vietnamese coffee flavor. My personal favorite was sesame but the Vietnamese coffee had good strong coffee flavor too. One of the people working there was very nice and thoughtful. While the trainee had difficult time figuring out the cashier, ice cream melted and he was caring enough to re make it. Very good customer service.I would stop again to try different flavors
Loved it. They actually make ice cream from scratch in front of you. I ordered an icecream which was coffee based mixed with mango, chocolate chips and oreo. It was good but I think if you want dominating mango flavor, go with vanilla base. Additionally, you get unlimited toppings for free. So, choose all the toppings you love 😀

Small spot that fills up quick if youre giving 6ft. Its a standard insomnia cookies location with minimal (likely no) inside seating, and not a ton of nearby outside seats either. There a pinkberry and a van leeuwens ice cream real close if you wanted to get funky with an ice cream sandwich.
I really am beyond disappointed with this location. This has got to be my third time visiting. I really tried to give this place a chance each time thinking it was probably not the right time to buy cookies since it was later in the evening and not much foot traffic the first and second times. That time my cookies were cold to a little warm and seemed like they were sitting in for a while.
Now this third time on Saturday December 19, I was outdoor dining and decided for dessert in this location. As I proceeded to walk inside I had to stop abruptly because of the amount of people not social distancing in this tiny space. They obviously were not controlling the amount of people for their cube sized store and their was a man sitting down eating his cookies in the store. I thought indoor dining and sitting were banned for now? Well thats not even my biggest complaint yet, in comes a young male employee with his mask covering only his chin and walks with a box from behind the register area to where the customers are to get napkins and proceeds to go back. At this point I thought he must of forgotten to put his mask up but then another employee baking in the back also was using a mask as a chin guard meaning not the nose or mouth covered. I was just livid at this point and wanted to leave asap, I ordered my cookies and walked disappointed to my car.
Now this is where I decided to write my review once and for all. Not only do the employees have a disregard to a global pandemic and have no respect to themselves and customers...The cookies were cold and tasted like they were sitting in for awhile. Remember I opened the box as soon as I got in my car! This is not the amazing experience that 125st location gives me with their soft warm cookies melt in your mouth taste! This is just all together one too many times this second ave location gives me a sour taste in my mouth! After giving this place three chances since I live close by to it, I convinced myself that this is all about customer service and the employees at this specific location that are not representing this amazing cookie brand! Please please please retrain your staff at this location so they can live up to at least satisfactory standards. We also should respect one another and wear mask especially at your place of employment! I attached a receipt with time and server but the young lady was wearing her mask it was the other two employees that weren't around her. My server just failed to give the fresh warm cookies like expected!!

This place is superb, and never fails to amaze my expectations. There’s options for everyone, from bubble teas to milkshakes to the star of the show, rolled ice cream. You get unlimited toppings on top of delicious rolled ice cream for a great prize, and the size is nothing to laugh at: it’s a lot of ice cream.

So most of these locations are tiny but they pack a punch. They have so many different flavors, they're also freshly baked and they're so soft! The best part is they're easily reheatable, 10-15 seconds in the microwave and they're right back to soft and chewy. The cookies are a bit pricey but worth it. The red velvet cookies are especially fantastic. And the best part is they deliver, and they're open until 3AM. Just wish they had as many locations in the Bronx or Queens as they do in Manhattan!
