Awesome park for the kids, so much for them to do.

Super cool large bats in the trees at night. Big fruit bats with about a one meter wingspan.

Great park with many amenities. Oval, skate/bike track, basketball hoop, rebound wall, gym, table tennis, bbqs, kids playground, dog park, toilets.
Only con is that there is never any carparks. But it is close to bike track.
Amazing park, and we were so glad that we found it.
The ONLY criticism is the horrible lack of parking. For such a substantially exceptional high investment playground, which obviously draws numerous families into the area, the extension of the parking space is essential.
Please claim back some land for families to park.

Went to see Paramore here. Lovely spot. Bags galore, big fruit bats. No line at the bar. Weather was lovely. Hayley did a little dance. Might even be the best day of my whole life.

Worst organisation of a concert that I have ever experienced. Post Malone should probs not consider the Domain for any further concerts. We were in the Golden Circle area and there were no portal's or toilets nearby, we were stuck in mud as it poured down with rain, the bars were so far it wasn't worth going to get a drink and I didn't see any merch places anywhere. AWFUL.
I had attended new years eve event there in 2022 as well and that was also awful. Suffice to say I will not be attending events at the Domain going forward.

Terrible live music venue - just come home from "seeing" Paramore. Couldn't hear or a see a thing. This park should NOT be used as a music venue.

Nice park for a walk
However needs more park seating for Seniors
Only one in the park aside from the children's playground
This was taken up with council but was advised seating is only provided (as I recall) every 400 metres
Not Good Enough
Spacious playground for kids of all ages. Gated on the road side but also big enough to follow your kids around and inside the playground if you want to keep an eye on them. There's a water feature as well (supposedly it's not meant to be on between May-October but it was on during a Saturday in May) so kids could potentially end up with wet clothes. Huge circle footpath kids can ride their bikes/scooters around on and plenty of shade on the playground and around for parents to sit with picnic blankets.

Not many parks I think but we parked at a friend's place nearby and walked over.

Needs improved lighting for safety and walking dogs at night. Good local playground that sometimes gets used as a dumping ground. The park has a dog bin and bags. Also, it contains a small practice basketball area.
Has a park for kids, would've been nicer to have few more things in the park for little toddlers

I love this open space, and I feel the council keeps it tidy and clean.
There is a lovely little playground and a covered picnic table.
Thankfully the council has put a bigger bin so please people, clean up after yourselves 🙏

Great little spot for views over the city
This park is awesome. We drove out from GC one afternoon, got there a little after 6pm and the water play feature was off, couldn't find a time stating when it would turn off so didn't get to do that for the kids but next time will go earlier. Really pretty area with big tables and a lot of bench seats. Agree with others saying there is hardly any parking too even at night. Great shady areas and just wish the toilet doors were on the other side of the building facing playground, would make sense for safety. Still gets 5stars from me.

Great outdoor experience with just 5 mins walk from CBD
Small but quiet park next to the river and under the bridge. Great for picnics
A nice place to stretch the legs, enjoy the shade of nice trees or sit on the grass and enjoy the sun. It's relatively small and therefore sometimes crowded especially on weekends, but it's still very nice.
Fantastic park. Plenty of shade and seating with tables. Nice range of play equipment and activities for kids. Love the nice wide footpaths surrounding the park which were great for a kid learning to ride their bike. Not a lot of parking nearby but worth a little walk if required.

Nice spot under the gateway bridge for a picnic or some fishing. The only downside is no toilets close by. We walked over from the other side of the gateway bridge.
Fantastic park. Great open space, very well shaded, lots of picnic tables of open grass spaces for a picnic & hours of entertainment for kids aged 2+. Our toddler, who had just turned 2 a few months ago, still thoroughly enjoyed her time! So yes, still lots of fun for younger kids with adult supervision at all times of course. Bathrooms within close proximity & a small BBQ area also. There is also a basketball court and small outdoor gym area; this place really is one of the best in Brisbane!

The Domain Running Trail is perfect place to enjoy your sunny day in the idyllic surrounds of Sydney’s Domain.

The track adjoins the Royal Botanic Garden and offers the Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge and Woolloomooloo as your backdrop.

Big grass areas, playground and fig trees! It needs some public toilets though so people can have host proper events. The local councillor also hosts outdoor movie nights here with popup food stalls - big projector and sound... Kids love it.

Really nice park with some walks around the side of the river. Good in the morning or afternoon. Parking is a little limited around the place. The roads are a little confusing around this area.

Great place for kids and plenty of seating for the oldies. Clean and well designed area. No barbecues so litter is not an issue. Lots of bins and people seem to have taken it upon themselves to keep the area tidy. Parking is a little bit of a problem but we only waited a few minutes for a spot. All in all a lovely location.

Huge parkland in the city perfect for picnics and sports. Parking available at Wilsons Parking directly under the Domain. Located next to the Royal Botanic Gardens and the Art Gallery of NSW. Pick up your rubbish and take it with you, don’t place in overflowing bins. Let’s all be responsible for keeping our parklands beautiful

A nice park with some lovely tall trees along the various walking tracks and creek bed. At the moment, badly in need of a good mow by the local Council as grass is very long. Some people may be wary accessing one of only two seats seen, having to walk through the long grass.
Great place for nature & bird lovers.
It was a great spot to eat lunch and chill out with your friends. There were small Asian food court nearby and super market as well

A lovely public space with lots of greenery, amenities including public toilets nearby, drinking fountains, and seats. The space is often used for public events such as markets, pop up ice skating rinks, group fitness classes, etc.

The surrounds include; Central Park mall with lots of your standard retail clothing stores, Woolworths, chemists, restaurants, etc.; Spice Alley is just around the corner which is a modern day hawker market which offers a range of food options; Judith Nielsen’s White Rabbit art gallery; and also a cool derelict factory/industrial building overlooking the park.
