Had dinner on the patio last Friday (2023-10-20). The food was great, but even more impressive is the place felt like a well-oiled machine! We said we needed to be in and out in about an hour, and they absolutely worked with that time budget. We also had a few different staff check in throughout the meal, but in a good way.

The host was knowledgeable about the menu despite only working there for a month (as she said).

It's not a cheap place, but I think the quality of the food and service is commensurate with the cost. (It's not outrageous expensive either, in 2023)

Ordered:
- Fully Loaded Crispy Potatoes
- Nachos
- Ahi Tuna Poke Rice Bowl
- Truffle Cheeseburger

Absolutely amazing experience. Angel was incredible always making sure we had water top up , fresh napkins you name it. This location is much much better than the st Catherine’s location they even have a robot to take you to your table. Thank u Mandarin we will be back as always.
Fantastic dining experience with my wife and our son. The staff are so attentive and welcoming, Marco served us and he was amazing. But of course the star is the food, every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. The complimentary cheese bread was my wife’s favourite. We never felt rushed, and we had the whole evening to ourselves to enjoy the great food and conversation of the evening at a leisurely pace that was very relaxing. It’s a sharing concept, so you order 5 to 7 dishes and don’t worry the staff will guide you on wether you ordered adequately. We enjoyed some fine cocktails (Aloette Old Fashioned) with our meal, so smooth and tasty. Ultimately, an amazing dining experience with a cool vibe in a chill atmosphere with Michelin food. Cheers

We had a reservation at Joey for my best friend's birthday who has been battling cancer for the last few years. As we knew this would probably be her last birthday, I wanted to see if we could do something special for her. I spoke to the lovely Irene at Joey who set up the most wonderful evening for us. We were given two complimentary bottles of champagne and the staff created the most amazing dessert board for her and sang happy birthday. They were so accommodating with her many allergies and the server took the time to ask questions to make sure everything was prepared so she was able to eat it. Most importantly, so many staff members took the time to come over and wish her happy birthday and make her feel special. We had an amazing server who was kind and attentive. As someone who has worked in the restaurant industry for over 7 years I can honestly say that Irene and everyone at Joey went well above expectations to ensure we had the most amazing evening. We will forever cherish the memories we made tonight and are so thankful we chose to celebrate such an important event here.

First off service was fantastic. Our server was a delight who was knowledgeable about both the food and the drink.

The Sea bream was the fan favourite. Nice vibe, atmosphere, food and staff.

Will go again next time in in town!

Delicious food with a variety of salmon preparations. The attentive service, especially from Angel, and the manager Jeff's friendly conversation added an enjoyable touch to our meal. Angel even kindly recommended the ginger ice cream, although we had indulged in so much meat that we didn't want to burden our stomachs further. One minor suggestion would be to introduce a greater variety of vegetables. This place is undoubtedly a carnivore's paradise, but a bit more dietary fiber would be a welcome addition.

Loved this place. Booked the chefs table and it was so cool observing the calm and disciplined flow of the kitchen.
Food was on point, a few things I'd fault here or there but not major and definitely wouldn't drop a star for. I could eat the brie cheese and toast ever day of my life.
Service impeccable, ambience wonderful. I brought my toddler with me and luckily he was on his best behavior, but I also appreciated how much they set up for kids and are not snooty about it at all

Went here for dinner with my friend. We got the wedge salad, crispy squash, sea bream and mussels with cocktails.

My friend and I really liked the wedge salad, the crispy squash was also good but a little sweeter than I'd like.

Sea bream was my favorite and my friend loved their mussels.

The only reason why I didnt rate it a 5 star is because the music was really loud and though service was great, they came up too many times.
I picked up the order, there was no one at the counter, patiently stood for 5 mns no one came, had to call the restaurant phone for a response. The food quality is a mix, ordered veg thali and chole bhature. Thali was great in taste and quality, had 2 veggies including paneer and daal, quantity is also good. for chole bhature they included mix veg in the dish that was good, it was missing salt tough. chole quantity was sufficient and taste was fine but quality of bhature could be lot better.

I was blown away by the service we received. I honestly think more places should follow suit in the “gratuity included” style of service. We were helped by 5 different staff and service was all prompt and courteous. Our water was always topped off and side plates and new cutleries was set after every course. This was so much better than trying to wave down the ONE person responsible for your section. The food was amazing and we ordered way too much for two people but it feels amazing supporting a restaurant that pays their staff living wages.
Ultimate food I can say, really delicious and great taste. The best place I would recommend especially for their real Tandoori chicken and many other items. Visited first time just to try out the taste and became fan of this cuisine. Staff is really so nice and helpful. Great service.

We came here for dinner. Food unfortunately fell short of expectations. We ordered a few things on the menu, most were OK but a negative exception was the tomahawk steak (this was not an item on the menu, it was a special). The meat was surprisingly tough (I suspect perhaps it was a cheaper cut?) and it was cooked not to our preference. We had asked for medium rare but it came out to be rare. For the price ($100), I expected better. My favourite items was perhaps the complimentary bread and lemon meringue pie - those were amazing.

Service and environment was absolutely wonderful. Our water was constantly refilled, plates and utensils were frequently changed where it made sense, and table was cleaned every so often. The staff was not overbearing but at the same time, proactive and attentive - our waiter noticed we weren’t happy with the steak and came to check in for feedback. We voiced our concerns with the steak and was offered a lemon meringue pie on the house, which was kind of the restaurant.

The roasted sea bream is exceptional! Crispy skin that can peel off as a single sheet, flaky fatty juicy flesh, with a rich fruity-floral aji amarillo sauce. It’s a must-order unless you hate fish.

The other dishes were good but not excellent. I tried the wedge salad because it’s one of Aloette’s signature dishes, but it didn’t convince me that lettuce needs to be in an unwieldy chunk. The dressing is a fancified version of sour cream & onion flavor. Cocktail was great.

Overall it was a great experience because of the attentive service. The sea bream is something I’d order regularly if I lived in the area.

Great food and fantastic service make Richmond station a must try in Toronto. At first I wasn’t sure if there “gratuity included” idea would still translate to good service, but I was thankfully wrong. All our servers seemed to genuinely love the work and were knowledgeable about the menu and drinks.

Food was great, and what you’d expect for a place of this price range. The burger is a must.
I have no words to thank you but Yesterday i went there for my takeout order . The bill was $420 . I interac the money to their account. I think it took like 1 hr to transfer money in their account but the ladies working there said its okay you can take your food even the money wasn’t in their account yet . So it also saved my time and i had good and the best food for my brother ‘s birthday party. It really mean that people still have trust on each other .

Thank you so much it really mean something to me 🙏🙂🙂

Ordered for lunch today for the first time and was generally quite happy with what I received.

Pita was nicely mixed with the ingredients and had a good amount of them. Beef was well seasoned and cooked right. The little cup of $4.50 onion rings were quite depressing, however; not much onion and just crisped batter over-load. Pita and drink were reasonably priced.

Surprised to have been treated so poorly by such a highly rated restaurant, I ordered the steak with bri, I ordered it well, it came out rare but you couldn’t tell by all the garnishing on the plate and the terrible lighting in the place. The server Erika at first was like really it’s how you ordered it, I had to explain the difference between rare and well, I then waited 40 min for the replacement plate i was ready to send it back, but just felt uncomfortable and wanted to leave at that point, no manager came to see the table and nothing was done for the inconvenience, my party and I ate a different times and the experience was ruined. Will not recommend to anyone, much better places locally to visit with better service.
This food is amazing good. Best food ever. Everything I ate was super delicious. I am coming back in 2 days. Thank you for my dinner. Stephanie thank you.
Came here for dinner with my friend before our concert and really enjoyed it! We got seated relatively quick despite it being busy.

I ordered the truffle burger and salad which were tasty. There was a slight mishap with my meal and the waitress and manager were very accommodating and wanted to ensure I had a good experience at their restaurant. Overall I would highly recommend! You’re getting tasty food, great service, and it’s a cute spot!
It was such a wonderful night! thanks to Nikki who’s really accommodating and exceeded our expectations! My family had a blast! Im so glad I celebrated my birthday here. Will be back again for sure with my family and friends very soon!❤️

Wonderful Experience. The tasting menu we tried was one of a kind. Very unique and well-thought when it comes to the presentation of the food. The waiters are also very professional. A few of the courses I felt could have been better. There was a dish called pigs trotter which we did not enjoy too much. It was overall a great fine dining experience with spectacular views from the 54th floor of the TD building. I would recommend it to anyone who's ok with spending a bit to indulge in some unique fine dining cuisine.

My husband and I were visiting from the Niagara region. We had booked this reservation weeks ago! It was worth the wait… we shared the chefs tasting menu. I have some food allergies and they were very careful to pay attention to that. Two courses were especially prepared for me. Our server explained every stage of the menu and was very attentive and friendly. We will go back!! What a great experience!!

The view is amazing but that’s it.
The menu is so boring and limited in option if you don’t eat pork. Everything has a dash of prosciutto. pricey for absolutely no reason! The food was so average and so Disappointing.
The venison tartare was so bad, worse presentation I’ve ever seen. The halibut was dry.
Desert was so tiny.
I would definitely not come back and would not recommend to celebrate any occasion here. So overrated.
If you would like to experience upscale dining try George , Scaramouch you would not be disappointed!

Such a hidden gem and so glad we found this place! It was very welcome amongst all the chaos of the main part of town. Our waiter was fantastic, and very patient with questions. We enjoyed learning more about the restaurant’s venture. The food was fresh and delicious - both the veggie and meat options. I particularly enjoyed sampling Canadian cheese!

Went there during happy hour, and the place was decently busy. The decor is nice, staff is friendly and cheerful. Good food, we tried the hand pressed burger and club chicken sandwich, both of which were really juicy and flavourful. Side of fries, and they were great ! Decent beer prices during happy hour as well. We will be back for sure.

Update : went for a second time and place was excellent again. Tried a few lettuce wraps this time, they were fantastic, beers have great prices during happy hour and our server Anna as well as other staff were super friendly.

We planned to come here for the tasting menu but as we made reservations we noticed they had an event that combined drinks and appetizers at bar Secrette and a 3 course meal at the restaurant so we chose this instead. Bar: stylish, cozy but unfortunately empty (one other couple) so the atmosphere was lacking a bit but it was early in the evening. The cocktails were delicious , flavourful and interesting so were the appetizers. Restaurant: the part that really stood out was the service at George. The staff makes you feel very welcome and special. My Lobster salad was delicious and presentation spot on. Atmosphere was a bit too stiff for me.
The food is amazing and they offer a nice variety of choices. Everything is so fresh and delicious and the restaurant is extremely clean. The service is outstanding. Our server Angel was very attentive and pleasant.. she made our dining experience enjoyable. Love seeing the robots as well- they seat customers and deliver food.

Our server Stephanie is very attentive and pleasant during my dining tonight, the food was delicious and lot of variety, sashimi are fresh and of fine dining quality. Nice atmosphere and decors.
Party of seven during the height of the air show. We forgot to bring a lock for our two bikes. The staff were SO accommodating even though we had a BIG ask to sit close to our property. Food and service was fantastic. See you again!

Came here for an anniversary dinner and holy hell this place is worth the hype. I have never been to this caliber of restaurant before so maybe I'm a bit biased but this blew me away! We sat on the beautiful courtyard patio which was so intimate and romantic. The service was impeccable, sommelier Patrick was unbelievably knowledgeable and let us ask him a million questions. We tasted a couple wines and had a bottle of Mother Rock Holocene from 2020 on his recommendation and it was such a zippy and interesting wine! The food was outstanding, presentation was unbelievable. Each dish was explained to us by the lovely servers who were all so nice! We had the 7 course vegetarian tasting menu - and my partner and I were each served DIFFERENT dishes! Plus an "amuse bouche compliments of the chef" which was so nice. Each dish was so interesting and delicious, we had lengthy conversations about each trying to identify flavours. Just amazing. And they even decorated our dessert plates with a Happy Anniversary wish! So thoughtful. The experience took us about 3.5 hours. Would recommend this to anyone celebrating a special occasion. Very pricey of course but worth every penny. I didn't take a ton of photos because I wanted to be off my phone but hopefully these give you an idea of the artistry at play here!
What an excellent experience it was!!! Me and my man really enjoyed the service here and the food was fantastic!! We highly recommend!! Thank you Yan/Yen, she did an absolute fantastic job with a warm kind welcoming and attentive to out needs. Also the smiling managers were great!! Linda the manager was just as great!! She greeted us at our table and made us feel at home. Thank you again everyone for the amazing experience.

What a lovely place for a dinner date night! The restaurant hit the right spot! If it wasn’t a Tuesday night, we would’ve tried the wine pairing. We ended up choosing the 7-course Tasting Menu and was blown away by each and every course. What’s amazing is each person receives a different dish; 14 different dish! Our food kept coming and coming and not one dish disappointed! The 5-course would’ve definitely be more than enough, but the 7-course was an amazing choice for our first visit. Can’t wait to return and try their A La Carte menu. The atmosphere was lovely and would ask to be seated in the middle next time to really take in the atmosphere of the restaurant.

An incredible experience, well worth the money!
We had a group of 9 and got a private room which was beautiful, not to mention the live music.
The service was great with friendly staff and great bonuses, such as an amuse bouche before the meal and great bread for the table.
The food was incredible, most of their food is straight from their very own farm.
The appetizers in my opinion were the highlight of the night. The maple hot smoked salmon candy was easily the best, but followed closely by the heirloom tomato salad (it had incredible compressed watermelons).
The entrees and deserts were quite good as well just not as amazing as the apps.
Overall an incredible experience worth the roughly $150 total price tag.

The place is very nice.
The tasting menu is very interesting and a must try.

However, unfortunately, there have been few mistakes not expecting by a restaurant by its standing.

First was serving us plates that were for another table and got taken our immediately, second, we mentioned specifically no bacon and no foie gras, and we got served both, and it is only while the waiter was explaining the plates, we realised and mentioned it otherwise no one noticed!

Having said that, the restaurant remains exceptionally good and a must try if in Toronto.

I had the most phenomenal experience at this restaurant! The service was top-notch and the staff went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. The atmosphere was lively and enjoyable, adding to the overall dining experience.

Now let's talk about the food – exceptional is an understatement! I started my meal with their onion soup, which hands down is the best in town. The rich flavors and perfectly melted cheese on top had my taste buds dancing with joy.

For the main course, I opted for the wild halibut. The chef nailed it with the perfect cooking technique, resulting in a beautifully tender and flaky fish. The accompanying sides and sauce were thoughtfully prepared, perfectly complementing the flavors of the halibut. I wouldn't change a single thing about this dish!

All in all, I can confidently say that this restaurant exceeded my expectations. The combination of phenomenal service, terrific atmosphere, and exceptional food made for an unforgettable dining experience.

This restaurant is attached to the Sterling Inn and offers prix fixed farm-to-table meals only on their menu.

Overall the food was fantastic and service attentive. Our Server Emily was the best, noticing something was off about my experience and insisting on replacing my over-salted fries without me asking. She also took time to ask us about our evening plans and offered us great suggestions, such as fireworks over the falls which we did not know about.

Foodwise, the Lamb shank we had was incredible. Tender, succulent and essentially fall of the bone. This was the best dish of the night by far. Other dishes were good too, carrying a complex layering of flavour due to the variety of farm fresh ingredients they used.

The AAA beef flank however was a disappointment and am deducting a star for that. Very chewy. Could not cut it with the regular knife and had to ask for a steak knife. Still very difficult to slice and eat.

Because I was staying at the Sterling Inn, I was given a voucher for a free glass of wine from 5-6pm. It was a nice touch right before my 6pm reso.

I enjoyed my meal here and would like to come back in the future. Thanks for a wonderful night

Had amazing dining experience at Richmond Station. The food was thoughtfully prepared using seasonal ingredients and offers amazing flavor. The menu offerings rotate every season and I had the pleasure to try the halibut and the ravioli, both were sensational.

The service is impeccable and I really applaud the restaurant's approach of not asking for gratuity (or tips). It's great knowing the food were priced fairly and includes the cost of service. Highly recommend this spot and looking forward to visiting it again!

Fabulous dining experience. Waiter was so personable. We had the chef’s tasting and the every course was exquisite and complex and totally outstanding. This is as close as it gets to a perfect dining experience, and I don’t say this lightly. Everything from the atmosphere, the service, the cocktails, the food (presentation, taste, cuisson) and the overall attention to detail just hit the ball out of the park. If I could give 6 stars I would. Bravo.

An enjoyable dining experience. Most of their ingredients come from within 100km of the restaurant, and it presented in some more unique dishes, like their rabbit. The dinner was a three course, choose you own adventure tasting menu.

My one critique is that the cocktail shakers are so loud that it kind of echoed through the dining room, but otherwise it was a fantastic experience!
I live in Vancouver and have been to a few of the locations over there. But when I usually visit this location if I come to Toronto. I had a bad experience the first time with a waitress who was not very nice. But this last time our server was a whole lot better. A good happy hour beer selection, and appetizers are pretty awesome. A fun atmosphere busy usually with a wide range of Patrons having fun!

I have been coming to Pita Factory off and on for years and am a huge fan of their fresh veggies.
Today when I went to get a gyro salad I was disappointed to see the quality of the veggies. The cucumbers were rubbery, the tomatoes were extremely soft and mushy, and the general overall quality of the salad was not worth the $14.
I am still willing to give Factory Pita another shot, but probably at a different location.
We ordered for a small gathering at home. All of our guests loved the food. It was how and delivered on time. Our previous experience at the restaurant was very similar. They are consistently good in our experience.
The best buffet I've ever been to so far. The food quality is up the charts. Everything had a distinct flavor and was beautifully presented. I went during July, so some of the food was Canadian themed. Let me say they hit the limited dishes spot on. The atmosphere was delightful, and made me feel like I was in a fancy restaurant. The food options were so many. From sweet maple bacon ribs to tangy chicken to mild green beans, even the dessert and ice cream section presented endless options of decadent flavors. The service was great, and the servers were nice. I would definitely come here again if I could!

Joeys Kenesten has set the bar. Their chili chicken is my absolute favourite dish of all time and shockingly, they have mastered the simple French fry better than anywhere I’ve ever been! They’re always perfectly accommodating in regards to my severe allergies and is the place I frequent most. I’ve been going here for years and have never been disappointed in their quality of the dishes yet and their staff continue to surprise me with how much they make me feel like they care. With currently suffering severe health problems, you wouldn’t expect that a restaurant would be the place that makes you feel like you really matter, but here they do. Consistently the staff have gone above and beyond, offering little extras (and big extras) to try and ease my suffering. I cannot speak higher of this place.
I had always wanted to try this place as it seemed like a fun spot for a night out. It has a nice atmosphere. The food was OK nothing really special typical bar food. The burger was good. The fried chicken burger was not that great. Both portions were relatively small for the price. The reason for the 1 star rating is the service. The servers were clueless and we had to ask for stuff multiple times and we didn't get them until we were done with the food. They sat down and chatted with customers when doing the bill and couldn't care less about the service. Eventually during payment the tip percentage was locked into the preset and couldn't put any lower than the machines default which considering the horrible service felt like a straight up SCAM!!

So glad we tried the tasting menu tonight. Fresh and quality ingredients. We love the duck liver pate with strawberry puree, seared yellowfin tuna, braised chicken terrine, dry aged rib eye with oyster mushroom and the black forest cake the most. Friendly service and non pretentious. Highly recommend this restaurant in the heart of downtown Toronto.

Attentive and easy to talk to staff. We’ve been here twice now and love it every time. It’s a must when we visit Toronto. Eve fry thing in the menu is great. We’ve tried new things every time but the wedge salad is to die for. It has such a refreshing touch!

Desert was great. The lemon pie was too tart for me so I prefer the strawberry parfait.

Overall- this place is great. Just make sure you set up a reso before coming!

We had a terrific anniversary dinner at AG last week. We ate there 6 years ado and the food has improved! Every part of the Prix Fixe meal was delicious and well executed! Appetizers of lobster bisque and beet salad with house smoked veal tongue. Entrees we’re braised Ontario lamb shank (Ontario has THE best lamb in the world!) and the entree was sausage stuffed saddle of rabbit wrapped in prosciutto. Both were amazing. The desserts and cocktails were also fantastic. As before, the service is impeccable and the room is intimate and has a glamorous private club atmosphere.

The lettuce wraps we ordered were absolutely amazing, service on the other hand was not.

Very snobby waitresses who I noticed spent more time chatting then tending to tables.

Food and drinks are typically over priced.

Location isn’t the best looking as it has a crammed feel to it.

I won’t be returning to this location at all.

Bravo GEORGE Restaurant! This is what fine dining in Toronto is all about. We're still on cloud nine after the beautiful evening we had at this gorgeous restaurant. They handled our dinner party exceptionally well. All of my family and guests were so impressed by the quality of food and level of service. A big thank you to Mark, Alex, Eli, John, and Chef Lorenzo and his team, who all offered an exceptional dining experience that truly made our night so special! Also, a warm thank you to Anna, George Restaurant's event planner. Anna's highly communicative, honest and flexible approach made planning our event a fun and effortless experience.

The food - Phenomenal! Delicious and aesthetically stunning dishes. Each course was carefully crafted, cooked to perfection and plated so beautifully. The portions were just right. For a fine dining establishment, they were surprisingly quite big. Overall, we were very content with the calibre of food and the quality of service provided.

If you're looking for a new favourite restaurant in Toronto, GEORGE Restaurant is a must try! A truly incredible venue to host all of your dinners and events.

We went here for the first time but I know there will be many more. The food was top notch. Completely delicious. I can't stress that enough. It was completely out of the league of similarly priced chain restaurants. Beautiful presentation and the food tasted even better. We had the Chicken Parmesan and Sirloin steak with truffle ravioli and prawns. Oh my Lanta. We love a good steak. We thought it was better than the Keg. We haven't been to Hy's to compare that. The chicken was so tender the knife cut through like butter. How? My butter knife was satisfactory for the steak, as well. No steak knife necessary! The ravioli was mouthwatering.

We don't often go for dessert and were completely satisfied after our meals however the food was so amazing we couldn't resist trying dessert! We got the chocolate lava cake and the apple pie. I wish I was eating it now! Both were divine. If I had to pick one, we both preferred the apple pie. Made fresh there, it almost seemed like they literally assembled and cooked it before they brought it out, it was so fresh! (and perhaps they did)!

Our waiter was another thing. Next level. You can tell all their staff goes the extra mile and if someone is hired there, they are extra special. I wish I remembered his name. Looks like Thomas Delauer but black hair. Helpful, polite, funny, and made you feel like the most important people in a very packed restaurant.

The only downside to the restaurant is if you go around lunchtime (and I'd imagine dinnertime, as well), it is so busy you'll need to wait and it is also very loud because it was so packed. We were told we'd need to wait 30 minutes though I think it's was only 20. There are plenty of comfy couches to sit on and wait. Worth the wait for sure. That was our first sign this place must be good!

Before we left they even gave us a card for a free appy next time we go!

Beautiful interior design as well and very comfy seating.

Be prepared to tip generously. The service is worth the tip. Limited menu but that's why it is so good. Pricey but as always, you get what you pay for. This is a big step above Moxie's and Applebee's.

This was a great experience overall. The food selection was great for a smaller menu.

Each dish we tried had levels of flavour, and most importantly you definitively taste all flavours out into the dish… nothing got lost,

The presentation of each dish was photo worthy as you can see the care of how each dish is created.

The service was prompt and gave great recommendations for our group.

No complaints here.
We came in for Sunday Brunch by walk-in. The staff were very warm and welcoming. They actually had two by the door, who would welcome and swing the large doors open for guests.
Our server was very professional and well spoken. They talked us through each dish and had a very keen knowledge of the menu.
We started with a mocha and a hot chocolate for beverages and they followed up with a query on whipped cream topping. That was some of the best mocha I've had in a long time and it came served with a fresh baked cookie that was just the right amount of sweet.
For our main meals, we ordered the Bison Tongue Reuben and then the English Pea and Duck Risotto.
The server was attentive in asking wether we wished for separate side dishes, larger dishes or central serving to share.. Its often assumed, but this has to be the first time we had 3 meal sharing options presented. The thoughtfulness was very delightful.
The food itself was all it was promised to be. Fresh, flavours masterfully composed and visually on point. (no pun intended)
We'd definitely love to visit again..

The tasting menu was very delicious - couldn’t find any faults; however, the service was not up to par. Wish I was able to enjoy the food without constantly being interrupted asking how the dish is. Nonetheless I think Canoe serves really good food and is definitely worth a try!

Absolutely amazing fine dining cuisine. Farm (their own) fresh to table. Temps were perfect .... literally EVERYTHING was perfect. Food was explained in detail by our waitress Melanie. She gave excellent service and made it a unique experience. We had the salmon and beef carpaccio for appetizers and they were both unique and delicious. Our main courses were the tenderloin and scallops and omg were they perfectly done and a unique mix of flavors. Definitely the strawberry shortcake and rosemary creme brulee were an excellent end to our meal. This is just an incredible menu and mix of flavors you won't regret trying.
Really good healthy food. Don’t be afraid for the look.
I took fried rice (not so fried and not fat at all) with vegetables and eggs. Like Nasi Goreng in Bali.

Totally recommended.
We went here before a concert at Budweiser stage. It was super busy and we had to wait in line but ended up getting a nice spot on the patio. The staff was really friendly and the food was tasty. Great atmosphere recognize it will be busy on a Friday night. We will be back!

This place is absolutely amazing - the food is first class, the service is great, the atmosphere is soulful. The duck liver pate 🦆 is mind blowing - the combination with dried strawberry and strawberry sauce is something you must try! The brioche, that accompany the pate, Is delicious itself 😋 the menu changes every 3-4 weeks, so, don't hurry up with the burger - it's been in the menu for 10 years and will not disappear 😉

I recently dined at Canoe restaurant with a group of four on a Friday evening at 6 PM, and I must say it was an incredible experience. We had reserved a week ahead of time, and I highly recommend doing so because this place fills up fast.

We opted for the tasting menu, and it exceeded our expectations. The dishes were not only delicious but also beautifully presented in unique and original ways. The creativity and attention to detail were evident in every bite, and there was a consistent theme that tied the whole menu together.

The service at Canoe was top-notch. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the dishes and wine pairings. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable dining experience.

One of the highlights of our evening was the breathtaking views. We were fortunate enough to catch the sunset, and it created an amazing atmosphere. The restaurant's location allows for stunning vistas, making it a truly remarkable dining setting.

Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend Canoe restaurant. The excellent food, consistently positive experiences, and remarkable atmosphere make it a must-visit. It has become one of my regular dining destinations, and I can't wait to return for more culinary delights.
Excellent meal ( best duck ever.. brined, moist and crisp on the outside). Duncan was a very friendly and attentive server. Lovely bread basket. We could have used more butter tho.
The views are unparalleled and the building itself has a wonderful ambience.
My friend and I were chatting after dinner and we did find it odd that the maître d’ walked by and removed the salt and pepper off the table… as if signalling us to go..? There were lots of empty tables.
The sommelier seemed perhaps disappointed that we ordered a BC wine off the menu. Otherwise all good and would love to return.

An amazing experience from beginning to end. I’ve never been to a restaurant with such diligent front of house. It’s like magic when you turn around and realize your glass has been refilled or that your napkin has been folded neatly for you. Given their reputation it’s still a surprise.

The food is also really good and a good balance of comfort and original. The pigeon was essentially Korean fried chicken and the lemon meringue pie is classic. Speaking of which the food here is a bit acidic, but I prefer that! The torched scallops were platted like ceviche and was a great start. The complimentary cheese bread with smoked butter and the wedge salad were highlights. The wild rice with the wedge salad made it the standout dish by far, followed closely by the ravioli. 4-6 dishes should do it for 2 people.

Excited to try the other menu items!

Really enjoyable at the Pointe restaurant for my wife’s birthday and our honeymoon special dinner. 10/10 service from the start with personalised menus, excellent recommendations for food and wine and also acocmodating a table move to have a prime spot view!

Unfortunately the food didn’t quite live up to the service for us. Although it was local ingredients, we felt the tasting menu was trying to overcomplicate the food a little too much which didn’t work on a number of dishes both taste and texture wise.

Despite this, the service and setting really pulled through (as well as the wine) to make it a very nice evening.
I had the most amazing dining experience at this bar. Everything about it was perfect, earning it a well-deserved 5/5 rating. The relaxed atmosphere, combined with outstanding food and drinks, created an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, every aspect of the visit exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for an exceptional dining experience, this place is an absolute must-visit.
Classic, well made diner breakfast, classic prices, love the mom and pop vibe. In 2023 Toronto where everything is overpriced and overhyped, it is nice to be able to go out for a decent breakfast without breaking the bank.

What an amazing dinner we had!
It is a bit of a challenge to find quality food on the strip, and we're happy to have the restaurant recommended.
The server was knowledgeable and pleasant.
We had a lovely Cab Franc wine from the region, which went well with all of our dishes.

We tried the tasting menu. Food was great, presentation excellent. Strawberry dessert is our favorite, followed by the scallops and oyster. Pork Trotter dish was a little strange, nevertheless still delicious.

Service excellent, compared to many other high end restaurants, the service and staff are very well trained at Canoe. Open kitchen concept so you can see interactions of the chefs. Happy to see diversity in the kitchen.

Restaurant is clean, atmosphere is good. View is nice and most people are there for a celebration.

Wish their restroom was nicer, as it's just the TD building restroom. But that's no good reason not to try out the restaurant. Would recommend if you haven't been and I would return.
What an incredible treat it was to finally experience dinner here.

I was able to get a reservation over the long weekend and highly recommend the later seating in the event there's actually a sunset. It was too overcast the day I went, but the panoramic view of the stormy coast was almost better.

I think this was the first time I've ever been asked about any dietary restrictions at the time of booking a reservation, which I appreciated immensely. My server for the evening, Loretta also proactively confirmed any allergies/restrictions right away. The dining room is so well run with a perfect balance of polished and relaxed flow to service. Staff are attentive, pleasant, knowledgeable, and the food was fantastic. I was definitely full with an appetizer, main and dessert

There were no regrets with trusting Loretta to curate a culinary experience with wine pairings for 2 of my courses- wow. It was extra impressive to have multiple dessert offerings that weren't just sorbet considering I'm celiac and allergic to egg!!

Thank you to everyone at The Pointe for one of the most polished and memorable dining experiences I've had in all my travels.

Delicious food, fresh ingredients, friendly service, recommend the stir fry pita with or without proteins it is great, add honey garlic sauce for that extra flavour. Onion rings are better than the fries.
No words to describe their taste. Pure punjabi street food style. Juicy chicken. Best chicken tikka, malai tikka and tandoori chicken in winnipeg. Malai tikka is made of soft thighs not those unchewable chest pieces. See picture Tandoori chicken, its not like just red colored chicken which other restaurants serve rather it gives real taste of spices. Try it once. Thank to Mr Ashok best chef in winnipeg. And if anyone miss crispy and thin butter naan then try them.

So far, this is the best place for a weekend brunch. Why spend so much money on fancy restaurants when it's so chill and comfortable here? The staff is incredibly nice and always smiling.

the service was amazing! the lady was so patient with our large group (Robyn). Some of the food items were delicious and I wish there were more cocktail options. The station burger was a great choice as well as the chickpea panisse! what was most refreshing was at the end they didn’t expect a tip because it was included in the bill! I really appreciated this!

The blind tasting menu (chef’s choice) is available in 5, 7, or 10 courses but 5 is more than enough to satiate even the biggest appetite. Each dish has a wonderful combination of flavours but what really sets this restaurant apart is the variety. The two of us ordered the 5 course and we were each served different dishes which allowed us to try a total of 10 dishes.

The menu starts with an amuse bouche, followed by a chilled seafood dish, a foie gras, meat, cheese, and then dessert.

My personal favourites of the night were the king oyster mushroom amuse bouche, the crab, the squab foie, the boar, the thea cheese, and the lemon tart.

Our server, who was excellent, suggested the City of Lights and Peachy Keen cocktails and he did not disappoint. Peachy Keen is especially great if you’re not too keen on the taste of alcohol.

Shakshuka is 10/10, if you have a big appetite, add sausage. Servers are super nice, they gave me extra fruit that I compliment lol.

The view beside the windows are amazing. Came early, since there are only 9 tables beside the window.

Look at the quantity.!
Every thing was super fresh. The owner I suppose greeted us nicely and was really polite. I requested for extra vegetables and he added tones of it. And the veggies were super fresh.

Absolutely loved the dine in experience.
We enjoyed several breakfasts and dinners at the Pointe Restaurant during our stay at Wickanninish Inn this holiday season. We tried the vegetarian, regular and New Years Eve tasting menus in addition to other dishes. The service, food and drinks were all great. Quality and local source of the food as well as presentation justify the higher price point. Variety of bread provided with each dinner meal was awesome and we appreciated oil/vinegar alternative to butter. Chocolates at the end of each meal, including parting truffles on the last day, were a nice touch. We were also satisfied with the room service for coffee and charcuterie. Views of the beach and waves were amazing. Thank you for a memorable dining experience!
What a delightful little diner! Strong mom and pop vibe. I was skeptical about ordering but my friends had eaten here before and said the food is good. The adventure down to the bathroom was a bit on the creepy side but the food was wonderful and reaaonably priced. My stomach was upset so I ended up boxing up my breakfast, so I hope if the owners read this they know it's not because it wasn't good. I would eat here again.

Unfortunately the food wasn’t great at all….the lady who works the front is very nice though. But when it came down to getting the food the chow mein noodles were very hard to the point where they tasted like they were barely cooked. Second time around it tasted better. The sweet and sour balls paste had an odd taste to it since it did not taste sweet or sour. This is the first time we have left the food without at least packing it.

I really wanted to try liking the food but not good especially for $40. Hopefully improvements can be made since customer service wise the woman was really nice.

Great services, friendly staff, and has the best suggestions and choices of fresh topping. Ordered 2 chicken stir fry traditional with pineapple and banana peppers added sweet chillies and honey garlic sauces on top. There is no limit on how much sauces, and the types of sauces. Onions rings and french fries on the sides 😍.

I can only review on the breakfast. It was really good. I had the omelette and family had bacon and eggs. Good value and bacon was perfect. Hash browns were warm not hot but I forgive them. I will be going back.
Absolutely wonderful food and great friendly service. Staff made sure several times that we are satisfied with food. Very reasonable prices. Portions were of reasonable size. Fresh naans and tandoori rotis were perfectly made. Will definitely repeat again and again. Posting actual pictures of our food with this review.
