The staff there are very nice as they know how to talk with you and will help you and do there best

Called 2 weeks ago to get blood test done as I am pregnant in first trimester and did not test blood/urine yet. I was told they will get it done that week, 2 weeks later after going in and ask I was told nobody requested blood test for me and we cannot schedule an appointment until they talk with the midwife that had to put me on a waiting list. Another 6 days past. I tried to call and the robot told me they are busy and hang up.

I wish to thank all the staff on Overdale Ward for their amazing care of my daughter, she was only there a short time until she was moved to a hospital closer to home. She was very poorly, vulnerable and distressed when admitted and the staff on the ward took wonderful care of her.
They were empathetic and kind in spite of it being a very busy ward. Exceptional staff, so patient and caring a credit to their profession, respect and thanks from myself, daughter and her family for your compassionate care, it will never be forgotten. Barbara

Unfortunately I know a lot about the staff I remember going in and out of there often because of medical blunders ie trial and error and malpractice side effects etc. Every time I went in I got a good solicitor it certainly brought them all to shame !
I’m not planning on going into another relapse even though now I have PTSD and flashbacks also a vivid memory.
It just seemed that the psychiatrists I had seen for over 40 years had no idea there’s no evidence of the scandal the people who worked there don’t owns up to their bad behaviour they worked decades after changing their job title also many have retired early or left their job to do anther one I wonder why ?
The bosses didn’t half pick them they got good money probably had a great life holidays , cars luxuries etc but unfortunately what they don’t know it won’t last !
The community your family and friends the great outdoors venues , fairs , markets carboot sales the conditions of the weather sun , blue skies can give you the same benefits it good to help depression and loneliness etc.
Take care bye

Individually, the doctors are very good. However, booking system is a deliberate barrier to booking appointments. it's called Anima and I can't think of anything good to say about it.
You have to go online at particular hours. You can't get appointments for weeks and weeks. Receptionists are dismissive and unhelpful on the phone, though they're much better when you see them in person.

Wouldn't even give a 1 star ..My mother had a fall today what resulted in us to call for a ambulance..while talking to the operator we were told to go get a defibrillator from the closes point what was barkerend health centre, so my brother who is his 40s went to get it when he got there they refused to give it to him ..Dr Haqim is a very rude person specially to the elderly my mum could have needed it ..

I was hospitalized here for 26 days during my Youth Mobility Visa in May 2021. They do not understand autistic people; when I was there, there were too many different uniforms and cycling staff that it made trying to get any kind of help near impossible. I don't think I saw the same nurse/doctor twice. They over medicated me. They moved me through 3 different wards and did not even properly communicate with their own staff about these changes so when I was brought to my new room, someone else's name was there and it did NOT help my mental confusion. I genuinely thought I was getting trafficked because of how unorganized and unprofessional these nurses and doctors were. I understand that I believe this was part of a teaching program but you do not put students in where professionals need to be there. We are not study projects or test subjects, we are real people with real issues and we need real doctors.
Shout out to Toni though who asked me what kind of witch I was and then proceeded to call me cosmic for the rest of my stay like some kind of coven initiation. And to Hannah who gave me her socks when mine were all dirty. I hope you guys are doing okay ♥

No problems with the actually practice infact once you there they operate really well.
Unfortunately there is a man on reception that talks ridiculously fast and unclear even when told to talk slowly after he was asked by my elderly grandparents , He sounded quite oppositional when met with criticism and barely changed how he spoke to my grandparents instead decided to rapidly repeat his question which really flustered my grandma to the point she made me calk in to see to her request.
The ladies at reception have all been great but the guy seriously needs some humbling and learn some compassion and empathy to people requiring care.

I had a fantastic experience today at the A&E, then A609 ward and then with and ENT specialist. I came in after a GP referral with a strong pain in my throat and barely able to speak. The staff were all very professional, but most importantly very empathetic and accommodating. I ended up spending several hours with different teams whilst different procedures were administered, but all members of staff did their absolute best to ensure I was as comfortable as possible! Sadly, I only remembered the nurse Rachel’s name from A&E, but everyone who worked with me today were absolutely wonderful! I ended up being provided with some food after the final treatment and discharged home the same day feeling much better then I came in initially, and with a properly explained course of further treatment and all necessary medication provided. Thank you for your great service everyone!
P.S. a recommendation for the hospital overall - it would be nice to have emergency phone charges for patients available on the wards, as I didn’t expect to be admitted and my phone died pretty quickly, so I couldn’t contact my family. Luckily, I notified my husband beforehand which ward I was admitted to, so he came to pick me up after work and brought a charger with him.

If it’s good it’ll get praised if it’s bad it’ll get shut down , I think it’s about time we all give many more reviews for the final decision. Up to now there’s more negatives than positives but room for improvement.

Whilst visiting your lovely city of Bristol on Saturday 27 July, I was unfortunate enough to find myself requiring urgent medical attention. I attended the A & E department where they quickly provided some pain killers whilst they noted all the relevant details. I was seen by the Senior House Doctor (at least that is what I think is the position she holds) who was very professional whilst being clearly caring, sympathetic and reassuring. She carried out an examination and arranged for further examination by the radiography team who were equally professional and understanding. When the doctor had received all the reports she decided on the appropriate treatment and this was duly dispensed in the Observation Ward by the equally caring nurse. The treatment was successful I am pleased to report. The Doctor came to see me to discharge me and gave me a full report to pass to my local surgery team that will be treating me this week. I cannot speak highly enough of the Doctor nor her team that I came in contact with. They are all deserving of praise and recognition. I hope that they see this review and in some small way it demonstrates my gratefulness for their hard work.

If I could give no stars, I would. Fails to keep patients safe, poor communication with families, a high proportion of Autistic people, labelled personality disorder.

Have attended Whiteabbey recently for both CT scans and endoscopy procedures. Appointments have been on time and every nurse and staff member has been lovely and taken the time to talk me through procedures and answer any questions in advance - I've been really pleased with the level of care provided.

I went to Podietry, a very clean department in a 3 storey building. Staff are very sociable and patient, very helpful as it was my first visit. My appointment was ontime, no long wait.

15th July 2024. Just wasted 2hrs in Holywood this morning trying to get PDO threads with Mr Ged Smith. I had an initial consultation on 17th June with photos, etc. Strangely my booking showed as a brow lift 🤷♀️
I booked the appt over 2wks in advance for 1130. Apparently, I should have had a pre appt for numbing, so was taken to another room by a nurse for that and to sign consent. She left me at 1150. At 1303 I went to see if anyone was about, which there wasn't, but a man had just entered Mr Smith's room so I knocked, opened and asked when I would have my treatment. It looked like a staff meeting. Mr Smith did not speak, the nurse came and ushered me out, telling me it wasn't his fault and I was being fitted in around his appts.? She said I would be called in 10mins then went back into Mr Smith's room.
At 1315 I left the clinic.
I came at my appointment time, I was not at fault. I received a text message, phone call and an email all reminding me of my appointment and confirming my attendance. Not once was a pre appt get mentioned.
£1500 for threads may be insignificant for you but for me it is not. As such I expect to be treated as a valued client not a casual walk in. At initial consultation I also discussed fillers to be done later and my companion was checking the clinic with a view to booking a tummy tuck. Neither of us was happy with the way I was treated (or not treated!) Would not recommend the clinic and I am very disappointed.

I would give this surgery a 0 if I could. Horrible horrible treatment, lack of compassion or empathy towards those who genuinely need help. When e consults are sent and specifically request a phone call, text messages are sent. On one occasion no response was sent. Cancelling blood tests last minute when you have to wait over a week to get one in the first place.
Not sure, how someone who is medically qualified can have such a lack of compassion. In my case someone who is pregnant.

My husband is in the BRI, we have nothing but praise for the care and attention he has received, everyoneb is so friendly and helpful. The thoracic team he is under are absolutely brilliant, they explain, involve him in descisions for his treatment, they have a sense of humour which is very important to my husband. The amount of professionals involved with his care is absolutely amazing. Thank you all very much.

Number given not working !, How are people to contact you when you can not be bothered to ensure your number is up to date ?.

Really really want to to give it 5 stars but on 2 occasions now I have been told first that I have cancer (without confirmation) and secondly that it had returned (without explanation) and both by nurses - not consultants and the second time by a nurse who didn’t understand the relevance is what she was telling me. One day a nurse’s insensitive comments will lead to a person taking their own life. Two days on and I am in deep shock with zero support and no one to clarify. Absolute shame on that nurse - more so the second one.
(And is saying ‘I bet you didn’t expect that?’ An appropriate way to tell someone they have cancer when they are least expecting it!! Especially when it took 2 months to actually confirm.
I see no comments from Whiteabbey Hospital so assume they don’t read this.

Concern with a child illness made me contact my surgery. Big mistake. This place has never been decent but I wasn't prepared for how bad things have now become:
You can no longer call just before 8am for an appointment. In fact, you can't book an appointment yourself at all, you have to register for an online service called "Anima" and navigate through their question boxes.
It wasn't fast, and I genuinely don't know how our elderly neighbours could get care through this as they don't use internet, let alone type. Forty minutes later at 0830, we'd got through the process to be told we'd be contacted at some point. Reassuring? Not really, no. Could I speak to a human about making an appointment? No. Absolutely not.
We got a form message a few hours later, telling us to take child to "an urgent treatment centre for assessment". So child was taken as instructed to local paediatric A&E, who then immediately punted her, and not pleasantly, to their in-house GP service, MEDOC. Yes, she needed a GP as we thought, only now she didn't have an appointment here either. You simply have to wait your turn.
The MEDOC wait was almost 3 hours with a now utterly exhausted sick and miserable child. She was examined, we had the brief chat needed and left, having clogged up local urgent care services for no good reason.
The Anima system "action plan" cost us for travel and parking, put unnecessary people in paeds A&E system and led to a grim experience for a sick child, for what should have been a simple GP appointment, no fuss. This is not the first time we've been sent somewhere for care from this practice, only to find we're not in the appropriate place at all.
The practice clearly can't handle the volume of patients seeking an appointment and won't address it in any meaningful way, choosing instead to make it not their problem. Can't use the internet or have a laptop? Your problem. Can't engage with a text system because well, maybe typing personal private possibly intimate information is too much and you need a human chat? Your problem. Definitely need care but can't afford the cab, parking or cope with a bus because you are unwell? Still your problem. Get somewhere as instructed to find staff unsympathetic to your situation because they are busy saving people from death? You've guessed it, your problem. Clearly, "patient-focused care" doesn't mean what you thought it did, which, you've guessed it, is also your problem.
As A&E know this practice has form for this highly confusing obstructive healthcare model, I'm hoping they will have the conversations needed to end this mess.
Today, they let my sick child down, again.
I really have to ask, how is this practice allowed to continue?

Amazing ENT and Thoracic surgery teams and ward A700 care is joined up, attentive and compassionate.
Having visited others or had treatment in other hospitals in Bath and Swindon, which I'm not here to run down, the BRI was just better in every way in terms of environment and care.
My food was largely Apatito provided, which was of a consistently high standard.
Would I feel the same if I was visiting someone else? No. Hard to get to, expensive shops, no parking.

Smoking is permitted at the entrance and around the surrounding buildings at the Bristol Heart Institute, directly under the windows on Ward C708 etc. The entrance and cafe frontage is littered with cigarette buts. If windows are opened on this side of the wards you can passivly smoke!!
Everyone is aware of this but no one does anything!!
If the same standards were followed in a residential home CQC would close it down!
Sorry to moan but this just isn't acceptable.

Disgusting gp, very unhelpful you’ll get more help by praying to God than calling them.

Have been to Whiteabbey on a few occasions now. Not once could I ever fault the care and treatment I have had there
Was in endoscopy unit today for a procedure. Every nurse was lovely. Very friendly and professional. Nina who dealt with me through all was very sweet. During the procedure Linda and Dr Gray were excellent along with the others. Made me feel very relaxed. And of course the wee nurse who made my coffee and toast it was the best ever.
I highly recommend this unit and hospital.

Some of the receptionists and nurses in a&e are extremely rude. Upon arrival I was told ‘it’s a 7 hour wait and it’s a lovely day outside so just go and enjoy the sun’ as I was telling her my very concerning symptoms?? It was like she thought I came for fun. She then asked me where I was when the symptoms started and I said in bed to which she replied ‘wow must be nice I would love to be in bed at 9am you should go back.’ Such strange and rude energy.

Absolutely disgusting there’s no other way to explain about this so call health centre my mother has been suffering for months we even sent pictures and kept asking them to see her but they kept saying we don’t book appointments know are you kidding she been ringing and coming herself for months and they have no mercy on my poor mother who diabetic and as the result she has end up in hospital so many times because of no treatment or help from the doctors or the reception that are so rude and think it’s joke not to take my mother help seriously I told them she stop eating and had lost large amount of weight and they don’t even care I’m exhausted and angry that how they get away with treating they patients like they don’t mean anything I had to watch my mother fall into tears asking for help!!! Absolutely disgusting shame on you really should shut this place down!!!

Was given no clinical assessment before being told by A&E reception staff that "I don't look like someone who is injured" - even though my GP had just sent me there to get an X-ray for a suspected fracture. How rude!
Hopefully the departure of the Conservative party in the next GE will do this hospital some good...

Had to wait 3 months to get my medical records due to a fumbling of paperwork by the admin team, which has set my career back months. The only saving grace is the clean building and kind reception staff

Went to doctors because I am in mental health crisis given a phone number for Roseworth Hospital for assessment and support phoned them what a waste of time no help no support nothing still I'm crisis got to manage on my own wish I was in Wales as the services are better not a phone number a real person not here.

I have attended this clinic on 2 separate occasions for 2 separate reasons seeing to 2 separate consultants. The first was the dermatology consultant Dr Murphy who took just 5 minutes to diagnose a common skin condition that many appointments over months with my NHS gp had repeatedly miss diagnosed. Dr Murphy =5☆ My latest appointment (yesterday) was with the plastic surgeon Mr Moorehead to have a large facial cyst removed, he immediately put me at ease explaining the full nature of the cyst and the procedure IF, I chose to get it removed (which I did) he had such a friendly, caring manner while managing to skillfully carry out the procedure with minimal pain (only felt the local anaesthetic jags). Mr Moorehead=5☆

I feel a 1 star for this shambles of a surgery is far too good. My medication was labelled undetermined, I rang the prescription line to ask why this was ,she flicked through my notes saying you have to come for bloods and have your blood pressure taken. She said she would allow my medication for the next 2 months then it will go back back to “undetermined” ( I have been on this medication for 10 years)
I turned up for my bloods and blood pressure as instructed to only to be told by the nurse (who was very apologetic ) shedidn’t know why I was told to attend as no doctor had requested any such tests. What an absolute waste of an appointment.
I have been with this surgery for 62 years and I can honestly say I have witnessed this surgery go from being first class to its current state which I can only describe as shambolic.

I visited the A&E twice in the last year. My wife had a super high blood pressure and was triaged and treated within 30 mins. My case was less severe and I waited over 60 mins to get the initial check-up however I received the best quality emergency care possible and left the hospital reassured that they did absolutely everything to help me. yes, it took 5 hours to do blood tests and the CT scan but is it the doctors fault that results take time to arrive? is it the doctors fault that the homeless sleep on the floors. Is it their fault that some patients don't speak English and it takes more time to establish the cause of the problem?

This has been mine and my family’s GP surgery for many years. I can honestly say the every member of staff I have spoken to ( and I phone regularly ) has always been polite professional and very very helpful. I feel privileged to be a patient here.

Never can give appointment and never can get a straight answer

Absolute joke, they ask me to come in for a last minute appointment and I do but since I can't check in on self check in I have to wait ages to see a receptionist. Whilst doing so I get a text to tell me I missed my appointment, by time receptionist gets to me she tells me she can only book me one at North Ormesby now. This doctors is ridiculous! Doesn't actually do anything!!!!

Our NHS is on its knees and it’s fair to say One Life Surgery (1st floor) significantly contributes towards that. New patients continue to register on a daily basis whilst the surgery is incapable of meeting the needs of its current patients. No appointments, no pre booking system, telephone calls ignored or disconnected, no call backs, unhelpful & inexperienced staff. One Life Surgery requires radical change even to provide the most basic services. Maybe a customer satisfaction survey would be a good place to start!

Dermatology department, 3rd floor. Really good experience. Appointment on time with dermatologist, personally came and collected me from the waiting room. Reception staff very helpful and made me feel at ease. Good experience.

In for a procedure today and every single member of staff from reception to the consultant was fantastic. Wonderful, warm caring people. Thank you.

If I could give zero I would.
I care for my 86 yo mother who unfortunately is with this practice and the bottom line is no one cares.
The reception staff you speak to on the phone (I am guessing it is a call centre) are worse than useless, not passing on information to other relevant departments, giving incorrect information, giving incorrect phone numbers, and cutting a call off is just a few of the things that have happened this week alone (it's only Tuesday) and I won't even go into past issues.
Needless to say I will be going through the quality care commission and higher if necessary.

I think the issue with this GP is the management cutting down too much on cost at the expense of peoples lives. Imagine 3 weeks wait time for someone who was told by an A&E doctor to ''see your GP immediately''. Another experience I had with this GP is that someone I suspect to be a senior nurse at this GP saw my 2 year old son with a little bit of eczema when he attended his appointment and prescribed a powerful drug that has never been tested on children. The Pharmacist warned me not to use it as it has never been tested on children but my wife trusted the GP more, used it as directed on my son and the result was devastating. Using this GP practice is like playing games with your life! No wonder many people are living this GP practice with such a terrible experience. NHS please do the needful and investigate this GP practice immediately.

How disappointing! My 8y old have chest infection and been trying to get app from yesterday. Submitted that silly request on anima and at the end of the day I just got msg to call 111..tried again today and didn’t get any response. If 8y old who needs antibiotics is not priority I do wonder who is then?? I exactly know what is going on with her but here we are now,it’s Friday so A&E and 8h of waiting just to get antibiotics and go home. I really don’t know anymore what to say about NHS!

A 1 star and this us because there is no other option. Shocking and appalling service and level of care at Oakview House and utterly an out of control level of medical negligence and lack of trained staff to deal with the different levels of mental illnesses.

I wouldn't have given even one star if it was possible as the receptionist's response and attitude towards a father was of the worst possible nature.
The father was here as he thought coming to One Life was how he could register his new born to the Park Surgery. He clearly had language barriers but the receptionist was repeating again and again "This is an appointment only service, you need to go back"
I just talked about this to the manager who said she can 'talk to her', as if that's gonna help.

I can only speak from my own experience of being here. I stayed on the Bransdale Ward, back in year 2014. Me and a few of the other female patients in the ward, we had a great laugh, together, most of the time. Staff were good with me. I found them quite understanding and humourous. It's nothing like them old sixties movies. Things have been updated a lot since then. It's not as scary as you imagine it being, going into a psychiatric hospital. It's also not like the 'Girl Interrupted' movie. I can see why some people who have never been in a psychiatric hospital would think that, but it's more down-to-earth than that. I mean, yeah, you get the odd one or two patients who are violent, but the best thing to do, if it frightens you when a patient kicks off, is take yourself either to your bedroom, or out for a walk on the hospital grounds. Just take yourself out of the way of bad situations. They have lovely communal gardens. I don't regret my decision to come to this hospital. It's a good thing. My life wouldn't have changed, if I hadn't volunteered to stay here. I wasn't forced to come here against my will. I had a gut feeling that it would help me improve. I remember some of the nurses names. I wouldn't like to think that I'd ever need to stay in a psychiatric hospital ever again, but I wouldn't go into one, lightly. Only if it's absolutely necessary, then I would stay in one again. I got along okay with the staff who work here. Dawn, one of the cleaners, she was always a good laugh. She'd try to cheer me up, whenever she came to clean my bedroom. She's a diamond. They work here to try to help us.i don't know if it's changed that much since I last stayed here. I have to admit, I was uncomfortable with the staff, having to monitor me while I ate my meals, in the canteen, but I knew why it had to be done. Roseberry Park Hospital staff, Thanks for looking after me. 🙂

Much like other reviewers state the Anima system is dragging this practice down into the dirt.
I’ve been waiting a week for a sick note request to be fulfilled regarding deep vein thrombosis, thankfully my employers are very forgiving or I could be in a lot of trouble with unauthorised absence

Had appointment at this hospital at 9am this morning. Parking very accessible, taken very promptly by Claire at the bone clinic, she was very friendly and professional, Rebecca did my x-ray and was amazing too, had further meeting with Claire who reassured me about what I need to do

I have been with this practice for 13 years. I have been treated by excellent doctors and nurses and helped by friendly receptionists. And then Amina arrived, the faceless computer that decides whether you should have an appointment or not. I have had a throat infection since Sunday .It is now Saturday and have still been unable to see a doctor or get antibiotics. The infection is now in my gum and ear. I reluctantly have to leave the practice simply because I need to see a doctor. The system of Amina has completely destroyed this practice.

If I could give -5 starts I would. Arrived at the clinic on time and ready for appointment. 25 minutes late for the consultation, just to be told I was referred to the wrong consultant. So whoever booked the appointment hadn’t even bothered to check. Not only did I have to take a day off work, a days paid missed because the lack of communication. Not as if I was close to the clinic either, had to pay for travel. The unpleasant woman at reception then tried to send me to Ballykelly for an appointment. Now to be told the next appointment isn’t until the end of January and the consultant only works one day a week in the afternoon. Must be nice. After losing a day of pay and waiting 2 months for this appointment to be told it’s the wrong person and to go home because they couldn’t really care less.

The new system Anima does not work for patients. I popped into the doctors on Monday to ask about antibiotics for a UTI they said I needed to go through Anima on Tuesday morning from 07.30. I filled in all the relevant information on Tuesday at 07.30 then waited and waited. 28 hours later after a lot of pain and discomfort I had a reply. I was asked to supply a urine sample which I did. I waited all day for the results as I was waiting for a nurse to check it. Eventually at 6pm she called to say I had an infection and would send the prescription to my chemist. Unfortunately the chemist is now closed.all in all 4 days of stress and pain.

Sadly you have to use Anima app to see the doctor the same day, even for children. The doctors don't get back to you until around 6pm after you call lots of times.
Lovely reception staff, but the use of Anima is terrible. Children should be prioritised when they are ill and not left in pain/discomfort longer than necessary. 2 days in a row this has been the case. Absolutely inefficient system.

Big thank to all Barnsdale Wards staff for looking after me and fellow patients in our time of needing help, support & care.

Dreadful . No feedback. Spent weeks awaiting meds

Horrible reception staff. No manners, shouting down the phone and passively aggressive. You spend an hour trying book a Docotors appointment, only for R (the rude doctor wana be receptionist) to call you back 2hrs later because she read your notes and needs to cancel your appointment as she feels I don't need to be seen by a doctor.

Proved impossible to get a home visit from a GP to see my mum for a medication review, said they would call back but never did, receptionist was cold and unempathetic when I listed a few issues my mum was suffering with. Told me only one issue per appointment as there are other patients the GP needs to see. They can only get away with this appalling service because they are based in a predominantly Asian area rife with social and economic deprivation. They know patients don't have an alternative so they act with impunity. Needs to be shut down.

Absolutely risky place to register yourself or your family in.Rude , unprofessional staff. The receptionist works in Doctor place & advise people on behalf of Doctor. The Doctors prescribe medications without seeing or calling the patients, relies just what receptionist took history from patient which is ethically not her job.

Been with this Surgery for 5 years or so. Really bad, can’t ever get an appointment, can’t ever get hold of reception and have in the passes for an appointment but they booked it for someone else with a similar name. All in all, I cannot give a positive in any aspect other than to say thankfully I don’t have much reason to need them often

I'd normally understand, with the pressures on the NHS, if appointments happened late and staff seemed a bit curt or grumpy. However, that doesn't seem to be the case with One Life Medical Centre. My experience of Radiology was that there was an abundance of staff and very few patients, and yet still they were unable to operate to schedule and seemed frankly robotic in their interactions.
The scan itself seemed to be done properly but left me with little confidence that the resulting diagnosis will be handled with care.
I'd suggest this centre undergo a clinical review because something is wrong.

Brilliant staff looking after my Mom, constantly keeping me informed on how she is, what's going to be done etc...

Waiting for over a hour for an appointment when it was scheduled for 11am.

Had an amazing simulation where there was these 3 naked ladies that all looked like Kate Beckinsale who were all playing with each other!!!
Amazing simulation highly recommended.
Quickly I was finished

I actually have to push myself to give 1 star for ward 3 its a den of inequity i hope when my dad leaves i will never set foot in the place again. Strategy for reabilitation is sedation question the doctors decision and u can b sure she will not listen to close blood relatives at all she believes she is god with no intention to listen to any concerns. After 1 day in this awful place i was deeply concerned for his well being i watched as he was forced to stay in bed or when he was sitting in chair a table used as a restraint to keep him sitting. I am not denying the fact that my dad is at risk of falls and needs close observation but come on its against his human rights!!!!! Twice now ive asked a nurse to assist daddy to toilet and on both occasions it took over 30 mins. I know wards can b busy but all permanent staff appear to b in staff room while pleasant agency staff appear to b holding the place together. Cant wait until my dad is discharged i would love to hire a bus and take all the patients to a safe environment. Now in saying all this there is a few caring staff but the rest should think about their actions every1 of your patients r human beings not an object or inconvenience!!! people with an illness that r needing help that r frightened and confused. Roll on the day my dad is in a safe place with person centred care i feel phsically ill going in and when im leaving him. Its so sad!!!!! Also a senior social worker claimed that under dols that gives them the right to do as they please and can restrain as they choose to do so i think she must have trained at muckamore absolutely disgusting comment to make just who does she think she is!!!

Just having painful ear infection, some incompetent receptionist booked me for phone appointment rather then face to face! When doctor called booked me for an appointment at Venge surgery as that was first available same evening, when I arrived to Venge it was closed! This morning I called to say I need an appointment, and I was messed around last evening, same incompetent receptionist stated it was my fault as the surgery was calling me and I missed the call and it wasn’t an appointment they booked me for, but next phone consultation! What a lot of rubbish, now instead of booking me for face to face appointment she booked next phone consultation! Joke! Absolutely useless!
Noak bridge, change recording from ‘highly qualified receptionist’ to ‘useless and incompetent receptionist’ that you have! I can not believe that I’m being refused the visit and I’m being messed around by NHS with some fake appointments, instead of provided with help!

I would like to thank all the staff working yesterday (10th March) for their kindness and consideration towards my daddy and myself.
I met my daddy there as he was being brought from another hospital to the appointment at fracture clinic. The lovely girl at the entrance informed me when my daddy arrived. The radiologists treated him with compassion and the receptionist at the xray department was very kind and got my daddy water when he was needing a drink.
The fracture clinic main body nurses read the situation and tried to do their best so we could have privacy in the circumstances and spoke to him and me in a professional but personal caring manner. The staff are to be commended as times have been hard with covid and all it has entailed. Thank you.

Absolutely unprofessional from rude receptionist to Doctor H who’s got too many patients (cares more about how to make more money) so receptionist refuses genuinely ill patients that need a doctor.
Every time you ring you can’t get through then when you go down the receptionist will rudely turn you way no matter if your dying. The receptionist will come out with false government laws that they are following, one lie after another.
The best thing I’ve done for me and my family is move. Where we are now they treat you like they care.
Would not recommend Bakerend health centre to anyone.

The most unprofessional receptionists I've ever had the displeasure of meeting. They speak to you as if they own the place. Just plain terrible. You could ring them in agonising pain and they will turn you away and tell you to call back the next day at 8am. When you do that they simply do not answer. They have no empathy or sympathy for anyone. Terrible communicaters. The Dr told me to call back and leave him a message after I spoke to him via telephone consultation. When I called back the receptionist informed me to call back the next day at 8am because the Dr has already spoken to me today. After I questioned her about if she had actually left him a message, she simply told me he's busy. Poor, poor communicators. Absolutely terrible. No people skills. No manners. Lazy and incompetent. Stumble over there words because they don't have a clue at how to do there job.

I have visit the Surgery last week with friend of mine.It was her first time seeing doctor in this country...She is oldery Lady with plenty of sickness....
We have been booked with Dr.Cody.We had to explain him what's wrong with my friend, what's her health situation, etc. The appointment turned to be disaster....Dr.Cody was not interested at all about what we talked to him, there was no conversation with him,his actions and body language was absolutely ignorant and unpleasant...He acted like friend of mine is someone worse and lower "level" then him... We have asked him questions about blood test and many more which answer we did not recieved just on the end of the appointment he handed to us prescription. He was ignoring us since minute one and sitting on the chair like ppl in the bar with pint of beer .We didn't know is he listing to us cause his look showed no interest at all.
Tbh i was extremely disappointed, how ppl.Like doctor C.can work around others.Surgery should be a place where patients receiving help with respect and manners....
Personally I am using this Surgery since 14 years and I always thought this place is very nice, very pleasant and extremely helpful....But this one visit change my opinion completely....
So disappointed....
