The fried rice, the xiao long bao, the pork wonton in chili sauce is SOO GOOODDD. The chili oil is not spicy but it makes a difference 😍.

it’s ok. Reasonable price. but the environment is not good . Surely the owner can make it better with the money they make .

I ate here after being unable to attract any interest from service at nearby Super Bowl restaurant.

The half roast duck here was nice. The greens wilted. Green tea was good. I noticed napkins on nearby tables, so I asked for one, given I might need one chewing the meat off the bones. I never got the napkin I needed.

Two other separate couples who arrived didn't rate service and had to go into the restaurant to order. Hit or miss service.
Chinatown is not what it used to be.

Located right in the centre of Chinatown's Dixon Street just opposite the Sussex Centre building. The food is fairly average we ordered spicy sizzling squid which I found a little salty and squid a bit chewy, sweet & sour pork not bad flavours but the pork is a bit tough, special fried rice a bit oily and could do more of the fried & seared taste, barbecue pork and duck with plain white rice which was just too sweet. The meal for 3 ended up costing $95.
The only items we didn't try was their dumplings which looked pretty good in the pictures posted on the walls. It'll be interesting to see how they fair if and when we come back.

I ordered the chicken & prawn fried rice, the pork dumplings, and the chicken dumplings. First of all, the fried rice had to have been the best rice I’ve ever had.

The dumplings came steaming, moist, and delicious. I preferred the pork to the chicken but they were both great. Staff were friendly, too, and the atmosphere was great. Amazing feed!

A good fix of spicy Chinese food at affordable prices after a good night-out! Plus for having doors open till late & BYO offered with a min. corkage fee!

Serves of hot sizzling/spicy dishes were ok but bit oily & quantity can be better.

Hygiene & dining atmosphere is not the greatest being Chinatown, but cannot be choosers when it comes to finding food in the CBD to satisfy late night hungers...

Really great service, the waiter was friendly, attentive and helpful. He also brought a water bowl for my dog.

The dumplings are really good here!

And I found it funny when he brought the sizzling plate for the table next to me and exclaimed “showtime” when adding the prawns to it
