The guy who was working on Nov 16, 2023 around 10:30 PM is by far the most rude Tim Hortons employee I’ve seen in Canada.
Never greets back and looks at you like he’s gonna pay for you out of his pocket.

Other employees are okay but this guy straight up looks at you with disrespect. He should go back to elementary school and learn how to respect others. Post that, he should learn a thing or two about customer service. Then, maybe I’ll order something from here.

Worst customer service experience ever !!

Bought farmers breakfast wrap. Hash browns were not ready so I ask person making wrap to leave hashbrown out because I didn't have time to wait. The person plastered Chipotle sauce on it and I couldn't eat it. Didn't taste egg or sausage just tasted Chipotle. Had to throw it out.

For the second time in a row, weeks in between, I ask for a cappuccino and they hand me a latte. I specifically asked for less milk this time (because of my previous experience here) because I'm lactose intolerant. Then the "barista" has the gall to tell me that the reason there is so much milk in there is that "this is physics you see". She also claimed that it's the machine that pours the milk which is clearly not the case. I asked me for my money back and she said I have to go to customer service which, as usual, was deserted. It's a good place to sit and hang out if you can tolerate the stale croissants and terrible service. The "barista" also claimed that the person actually making the coffee "was new" ...

Very cute cafe with an adorable pastel pink interior. They sell specialty coffee, coffee beans, chocolate and even crotchet dolls. The latte I ordered was very rich and delicious.

Bread was baked freshly. Good coffee.

It seems like this place had no training for staff at all.

We asked for 4 latte and the lady put only 2 in the system. After we corrected her and waited a long time for her at the counter, she somehow managed to get the order wrong again, only this time the total rocketed to 55$ for 4 regular latte.

While she was trying to fix the issues again, we roughly timed our second wait and it was roughly 8+ minutes. We then asked for a bag and a tray to hold the cups, the lady got impatient before we said anything and just threw a tray to the corner of the counter to get us out of the line.

Please save yourself some trouble and negativity by choosing any other nearby coffee spots, there is no point waiting almost 15min for an aroma coffee and have the cashier roll her eyes at you.

I use my mobile app to order coffee from this store almost every day since my workplace is located next to it. The first disappointing aspect is that whenever I’m at the pickup station, no one acknowledges me, even if I’ve been waiting there for 2 or 3 minutes. It’s as if I have to call them and ask for the order myself. The second negative experience I had at this store occurred today when headed toward the pickup station. Although there was a warning sign, The floor was so slippery that I lost my balance and slipped, (the entire pickup area was wet) . It seemed like no one cared if someone fell on the ground. If it had been an elderly person instead of me, they could have easily suffered a serious injury. The worst part was when I mentioned this to the employee, she responded with reluctance, saying that I needed to be more careful.Honestly, I didn’t expect such rudeness, as I had hoped for not only assistance in ensuring my safety but also a more courteous response. If my workplace weren’t nearby, I would never set foot inside that store again. To the store manager, I kindly request that you instruct your staff on better customer service

I've been searching for a close-by shop that offers pour over coffee and this place is one of the few. I'm very new to the whole coffee scene, so I had questions and spoke to Hong (I believe she is the owner) I was able to learn a lot from her giving me tips and advices on brewing my own at home.

It's definitely a hidden gem, and I highly recommend for all coffee goers to go here.

They are also dog friendly and were able to sit down with my dog and enjoy my coffee today.

The exterior is a bit rough but when you walk in you are transported to another land. Beautiful interior. Ben was incredibly knowledgeable and provided great recommendations. We got a pourover (very complex) and a tiramisu latte (delicious and easy drinking). Great selection of roasts.

The WORST location, and it’s clearly because of the staff.

Every morning, they have no concern with serving customers promptly or getting the orders right.

On two occasions, the manager (who is the only cashier apparently) was on his cell phone. And did not decide to service anyone until he was done his call. Unacceptable.

Not to mention, every time I’m there someone is complaining that their order is wrong.

The service at the Tim Hortons/Esso location is 100% better. AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS if you value a correct order and getting to work on time.

Another review of Another Land (spoiler alert: it's narnia!)

First things first is that I would wholeheartedly recommend another land as a place that transcends a home-esque feeling and jumps directly to you wishing this shop WAS your home, with a welcoming cast of staff (there being 2 of them!!) That immediately made me (and my mom lol!!!) Feel ready to order and have a seat.

Now let's get into the nitty gritty of the review, which would be the items I ordered 😀 (those being a Cofftail, a Lychee rose latte, and a Portuguese tart).

Cofftail: Another land has an item called the Cofftail (that being a coffee+non-alcholic cocktail) with a variety of flavours those being "plain, lychee, yuzu" and today I will be focusing on the Yuzu flavour as that was the one I specifically ordered, The yuzu flavour consist of 3 things (an espresso shot "Duh!", Yuzu juice , sparkling water and then they sweeten it) and I found that the drink was a refreshing drink with hints of acidity and low levels of bitterness that reminded me of a specific album by "masayoshi takanaka" called "brasilian skies" with its distinct Japanese and Brazilian summer/beach esthetic(and yes am using this to recommend an album that no one listens too, get off my back lol), and how the flavours meld beautifully into a drink that brings comfort, refreshment, and caffeine with a crisp finish that I highly recommend!!!

Rose lychee latte (my mother's drink of choice!!): My Mom told me that "I found that the drink has a minimal amount of sweetness allowing for the coffee, lychee, and rose to show themselves more while not overtaking the depth of the coffee"
(As I am not the one who drank it, this is all I have 😅.)

Portuguese Tart: And finally we have the Portuguese tart which I ordered for myself and I think it was an interesting take that I genuinely enjoyed, most Portuguese tarts that I have had were more on the sweet vanilla side, while this one was more salty with its buttered puff pastry and a custard that had a "currduly" (I don't think that's a word lol) texture of which I thought was an interesting departure from what I had before.

A few last notes before I sign off: The shop has a variety of coffee beans, coffee equipment, and hand knit key chains made from yarn that I found were absolutely adorable 😄.

All in all, "Another Land" is a soulful speciality coffee shop that has heart, colour, and love put into it (and most importantly, has a fried chicken shop underneath it 🤣!!!) That accentuates what I LOVE about a comfy cup of Joe, and I will surely be coming back soon!!!

We ate breakfast here twice during our stay at Novatel in North York...nothing fancy just great food at a reasonable price...highly recommended!!!!

I am a fan of Tim Hortons; their staff consistently impresses me with their speedy order processing. The donuts and pastries display is consistently well-maintained, and the staff's politeness and warmth add to the experience. While I do wish they had a presence in the mall's food court, it's not a significant inconvenience for me, as I don't mind the short walk. In fact, the restaurant's location makes it convenient for me to move back and forth between the restaurant and the food court.
My only concern with the location is that queuing can be challenging, particularly during busy periods. The proximity of the Cineplex entrance right beside them can create difficulties, especially when there are movie showtimes.

Dark and depressing. I went in expecting a good cup of coffee, and they couldn't even provide that. 'House Blend' was all they had, and it amounted to a cup of weak diner coffee, not something that a coffee specialty location should ever serve. What has sucked the life out this establishment, that comes across as more an employment agency feel? People. People make the difference. Their staff were as dull as the product, day dreaming off into their phones while on the job. I'll avoid this at all costs moving forward, and recommend others do so as well.

Specialty coffee above a fried chicken shop hits different. Albeit questionable from the outside, once you pass the stairs, you’re greeted by a gentle and warm atmosphere, aesthetic and thought behind the arrangement. Barista was super nice and welcoming.

As for the coffee, had an iced latte. The roast I believe was on the darker side, with more nutty flavours coming through. I enjoyed the coffee.

Overall, quaint little spot that will not disappoint. Lovely

A good cafe to grab a quick bite or to sit and linger with a friend. It can get crowded so plan accordingly. I liked that all the ingredients are listed, along with the caloric measurements. Helps people who are keeping a close watch on their diet in choosing an item from the menu.

quality has really declined post-covid. presentation of my food was terrible.. piece of bacon and scram eggs kinda just unceremoniously placed on my plate . my friend ordered a croissant sandwich. croissant was not crisp/flaky. way overpriced for small portions as well. sorry. .

Absolutely abysmal service. The cashier working on Friday Aug 25th at roughly 1230pm made my girlfriend feel terrible for simply trying to order. He yelled at her for trying to choose some timbits or accidentally asking for an item that was sold out.

She's done with Tim Hortons for good now.

If I could rate this place lower than one star I 100% would. This is the third time I order something through Uber eats and my order comes either missing or with extremely poor quality. This time I ordered a small iced capp along with a couple other items and this is how I received my drink. During my morning commute to Brampton, I encountered a situation where I had to exit the highway due to a significant accident that had occurred on it. As a result, I decided to take a detour and make a pit stop for coffee at aroma espresso bar. Upon entering, I received a warm greeting and was guided to the counter to place my order. The payment process was swift and efficient. To my delight, my coffee was presented on the counter, accompanied by a small piece of chocolate, which I found to be a delightful and thoughtful gesture. The coffee preparation area was impeccably clean, offering a wide array of choices. It was during this visit that I had my first taste of sugar water, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it tasted.

The espresso bar was vibrant with activity, yet there were ample seating options both indoors and outdoors. The entire area was well-maintained and clean, reflecting a high standard of hygiene. However, I did note that parking posed an issue, as the only available parking option was paid street parking, which could be somewhat inconvenient.

It is a clean store, but the question is; why don’t you guys except American dollars? I bought a large coffee and I was short 0.17 cents and I gave them American dollar, so they said oh we don’t take American dollars. !!!! On top I waited 10 minutes for a regular coffee, I would understand if u guys busy, but having only 3 customers and wait 10 minutes is not cool.

Nice little spot inside the medical building. Sitting out back, you don't feel like you're in a medical centre at all.

Tried the place out since I was in the area. Cute cafe on the second level. Has parking in front. Almost easy to miss if you haven't been there. Keep and eye out for the pink sign when driving on Yonge. Coffee beans used is from Monogram coffee, but there is many other selections to buy including Hatch and Rocanini Coffee Roasters from Vancouver. Had a flat white and it was smooth with a citrus note. Prompt service. Ambiance is a cute cafe with unique wall items and small two person tables with a patio outside overlooking Yonge Street. $4-$5. You will receive a discount if you bring your own cup. Overall would recommend if it's near you.

I had a great chicken salad sandwich here! Everything tasted really fresh even though I was one of the last customers of the day. It even came with tomato, cucumber and lettuce as topping. The owners were friendly too!

Aroma Coffee truly lives up to its name, offering a delightful selection of coffee that warms the soul. The cappuccino, in particular, stood out with its perfect blend of flavor and creamy texture. While the cheese stick didn't quite meet expectations, it was a minor misstep in an otherwise fantastic experience. The carrot cake was a pleasant surprise, moist and rich, adding a sweet note to the visit. The excellent service at Aroma Coffee further enhanced the experience. The staff were attentive and friendly, making sure each guest felt welcome and cared for, while their expertise in coffee preparation shined through in every cup served.

just bought a haberno chicken bowl half of the bowl was empty please charge extra to get good quantity. Charging 10$ without quantity doesnt make sense its the worst just imagine you are hungry you got 4 spoons of rice and 3 chicken pieces never ever going to this place again

Atmosphere is also nice, many people study or work here, they have a balcony as well. But stairs is very narrow, not friendly to kids or elderly. Place is very small on the second floor as well.

Worst experience here. The people working today July 17th 2020. Very extremely rude. The worker denied my money when there was 25 cents change in American.. he said he could not accept it... I kinda asked for my money back and he huffed and puffed sighing and snarking at me and only gave half of what I gave him, back to me. Unfortunately I walked away before I realized he did not even give me the total 2$ that I gave him, back.
Sensitivity training really needs to be done. So because they didn't want to accept my 25 cents American ... Now I'm out 1$.

It’s my favourite place to hang out. Outside patio sitting area is beautiful with flower boxes. I recommend breakfast there as options are good enough for people. It has accessible washrooms and staff are nice.

This is the coffee shop that just received 11...yes 11 public health infractions. No hand washing, no handwashing supplies the list goes on. Gross!!!! I wouldn't step foot in here in again in you paid me. It's 2023....really??

Cafe Plus, at 3200 Dufferin St., received 11 violations, three of which were crucial, another three were significant and five were minor. The cafe serves up breakfast, sandwiches, soups, salads and other treats.

Its three crucial infractions were for failing to protect food from contamination or adulteration, failing to ensure a food handler washed their hands to prevent contamination of food and the handling of ice in an unsanitary manner.

The three significant infractions were also of the cleanliness variety: failing to maintain handwashing stations with soap and paper towels, using utensils “not of readily cleanable form,” and sanitizing utensils in chlorine solution of “less than 100 p.p.m. (parts per million) of available chlorine.”

Everytime I visit (leaside) I felt the greyhair lady looked not in the good mood and rude. And lately I ordered latte and sitting beside the pick up counter waiting for my latte. I thought it took so longer than usual and I found out the latte was been for long time at the counter.
She just put the latte at the counter. I wasn’t feel that pleasant and had terrible latte that she served. I checked the beverage because of the weird taste and I found out the milk was lumpy and sour. I’ll never return.

Tim Horton's is located right beside the cineplex entrance from inside the mall. There is no seating anywhere near here, you will have to go to the food court to have a seat to drink your coffee which is a long walk and different floor. The lineup is usually long and service is slow. I've come here twice on my way out of the mall and both times left with coffee not hot or tasting how I normally want it. Not a great location and whoever's idea it was to move the Tim Hortons in the armpit of Fairview is not very bright. Go to McDonalds in the food court and get your coffee from there instead much better and you'll be able to sit and enjoy it.

Nice place with delicious and healthy food. The coffee is also decent. This time I had cortado. Earlier tasted cappuccino, latte and mocco. It’s a busy place. Not easy to find a spare seat. If you come early in the morning you will find a seat but prepare to wait for your order, because there are tons of takeouts. I like the place and visit it every now and then.

Cute little spot in the station, much better than the convenience store-type ones. You can get coffee, sweets, and some savoury foods like wraps and patties. Got the coffee and patty and it was wonderful. The patty tasted fresh and the pastry was soft unlike the yellow frozen ones you see everywhere

My mother and I ate here before we went to the library, and it was so delicious. We both ordered turkey sandwiches, and it tasted so fresh, while having a very reasonable/inexpensive price. The kind man and woman who works there are incredibly nice and even gave us 4 chocolates. This is truly one of the best cafes in Toronto!!

Myself and the kids (2 teenagers) had breakfast twice here on a short trip to Toronto, and this place exceeded all expectations. The owners are so very friendly and have great attention to detail, the food was really delicious. The kids polished off their plates and we were all very impressed with how great everything was from service, to price, to presentation, to flavour. I can't recommend this little corner breakfast place enough.

It's ok. No lines at the time, so staff was pretty quick. Order was fine, except that when the breakfast wrap was made, the meat fell and the staff bounced back the meat off their shirt. Put it back in the wrap and served it.

Went to this place for the very 1st time. I loved the atomosphere and also the food is delicious with great presentation. The prices are affordable and worth the taste. I ordered hazelnut Latte, Aroma coffee, chocolate chip cookie and Chicken avocado sandwich all the items are super tasty. and As the summer started you have sit out outside the cafe where you can enjoy the food and also the weather. Over all I loved and I am definitely going to visit again

This place used to be good but since the new manager gutted the staff and got rid of every single good barista and their supervisor this place cant be relied upon to make a cup of coffee and most times youll be lucky to get a cup of dirty water. #amazonfail #amazonsucks #badmanager

Lovely and sweet staff... but bought $94 dollars worth of items for a 7 person kids birthday party, and nearly 90 percent got thrown. People literally took a bite and then got that really awkward look on their faces. Dry, inedible, terrible stuff, all fake ingredients, sugar and preservatives in everything and not much else. For such a big station this is such a sad waste. Only stop by in a pinch because you will feel lasting regret at the waste if you spend more than a couple of dollars here

Hidden away on the lower floor of a medical building, Coffee Garden provides a nice place to relax in its quiet atmosphere and nice view of nature from their large window. The owner is friendly and has a fair selection of snacks and meals to choose from. Will come again.

Great selection and healthy options! Pumpkin soup was great and very filling, served hot. I’d always come to this restaurant on work breaks for lunch and it always checked all the boxes. Only giving 4 stars because it’s slightly overpriced, but considering the amount of seating and nice decor it’s almost justified.

The staff are busy with manage to be responsive. The selection of donuts here a wider than even full Tim stores that i have been to. It is a relatively acceptable branch to visit, compared to some in the North York area.

Love their mocha! It was hard for me to find good coffee but allegro is my to go too for coffee, mochas and smoothies.

They serve sandwiches and korean food. Food is tasty and made fresh. Downside is that the hot food runs out quick. Brian and his mom are very friendly.

A lot of information on the Web about Yorkland Cafe is out of date. As of 2018, it came under new management. They do their best to provide good food at good prices, and that's what you get. I've been there several times; it's clean and comfortable. I've tried several items on the menu, and enjoyed every one. What's more, Yorkland Cafe staff change they day's offerings throughout the week, and even have new dishes from time to time. Eating at Yorkland Café is like going for a meal at the house of a friend who really knows how to cook!

The coffee simply is not up to scratch, and is definitely not like the Italian coffee that I have tried back in Rome.

Love this place! Every time I come in the guy is always cleaning. Very pleasant owner, always welcomes me in with a smile and a friendly greeting. Makes me comfortable, offers snack when I play some lotto in the cozy back bar which is actually licensed.
