It's not too muddy for March, it's very beautiful.
Good for a long walk without many people bothering you

Not sure where the 20 car parking is that some people mention... their description has no starting point. Very little parking on Caledon mountain rd near trail entrance. When heading north down the valley ridge towards forks of credit rd... it's extremely difficult... but has amazing views. I did 2.5 hour hike. Starting at belfountain Park. Head east to train Bridge at that hairpin corner up the cliff to see old lime stone kiln. Then up the really difficult rocky climb. I Felt like rock FIRST BLOOD. Even my dog was in danger to slide off cliff. At the top is nice homes on Caledon mountain rd and 30 min walk back to belfountain Cafe and finished.
Great trail for walking dog, bike rides.
A gorgeous new disc golf course awaits you! Get outside and give this beautiful terrain a try. The holes are expertly designed with a balance between risk and reward with many of the holes challenging your strategy with unique shot shapes and elevation changes. We will be back again soon!

Nice place with nice views. Clean and quiet.

Parking was hard to find. I parked near the south east side, and walked up to the cliff. There is parking near the trail marker on Google maps as well.
Unfortunately not that impressed with Albion Hills for camping. Seems you can park your trailer any way you want on your site. Guess this is because one hydro/water post serves 2 sites and i guess most folks don’t carry extension cords or extra water hoses.
Anyway here in early October and it was rather dumpy looking with cars and trailers parked any which way.
Bathrooms were not clean on any day (we were here 4 days).
I count my blessings that my dog rarely barks, but there were plenty of other folks that don’t seem to mind letting their dog bark all day while at their site (that isn’t the fault of Albion Hills though).
There is plenty of hiking and cycling trails that were great.
Easy access from city limits. Plenty of trails, campsites (serviced and non-serviced, pool/ splash pad and chalet to host events. Nice to go on one day too

We found this beautiful trail four years ago and have been coming back a few times a year. There are lots of fun trails in the woods, and the main trail is stroller-friendly. Our family will keep coming back.
Albion Hills Conservation Park is a haven for those seeking an escape from the chaos of the city. Nestled amidst the breathtaking natural beauty of rolling hills and vibrant forests, this park offers solace and tranquility to its visitors. Unfortunately, the once-pristine surroundings are marred by careless actions of some visitors who choose to litter. It is disheartening to see plastic bottles, food wrappers, and other debris scattered across the otherwise enchanting trails and picnic areas. Albion Hills Conservation Park deserves to be charished and preserved allowing future generations to revel in its splendor. Please show respect to this incredible sanctuary of nature. Visitors should refrain from shouting or creating excessive noise in the picnic areas. While it maybe tempting to let our voices carry in the open space, we must remember that others also come to Albion Hills seeking tranquility and relaxation.
Visite guidée très intéressante! Le site est très beau et d'une propreté exemplaire!

Do not go to this address. There is no parking on the whole street. No parking anywhere in Caledon basically. It's the worst. There are miles and miles of empty road with forest on both sides and no businesses, and yet no parking allowed anywhere close to most of the entrances to the Bruce Trail around this area. Just a bunch of super rich people making all the streets no parking. Tonnes of the forested area is labeled as private property/no trespassing as well. Go on the Bruce Trail app to find parking.
Love the place for camping and mountain biking! As a mountain biker, great technical trails to learn from. Been here a lot of times and would still love to come back for more. Great place to exercise your lungs with a lot of uphill climbs before you enjoy the downhill.
Good place for hiking, clean bike trails. Lots of picnic spots. Charcoal and gas BBQ allowed, clean public swimming pool $3 but not heated 🥶, splash pad and a small area for the little kiddies to play. Park admission fee of $7, lots of parking, very little phone reception and washrooms available. Overall a good place to visit and explore!

Bel endroit pour prendre des photos. Chutes, jardins et sculptures. Visite du moulin à farine également intéressante.
Les sentiers sont très beaux! C'est agréable à voir.
Place is nice for hiking. There is no network in that area so be prepared. There is 7 dollars something fees per person, place has pool too. Good area . 8/10.

Great experience. Make sure to put on long sleeves in the summer and do not forget bug spray and water
Wife read on All Trails that when doing this loop trail, go clockwise because it’s easier. The descent was intense going downhill. Glad that we didn’t go the other way or that climb would have made us set up basecamp.

One of the best natural spots in the city. Lots of great walk trails and even more for the cyclists thanks to all the hard work from the folks at GORBA.
Très belle découverte vieux moulin de 1860 bien entendu rénover, mais très intéressant et petit sentier avec petite chute

Great hiking location for people on the Northshore for a quick day hike. It never disappoints. You always find a train in this area that matches your interest and physical readiness. It is one of my go-to hiking locations for a quick but intense hike.

If you like difficult trails, then this trail is for you! We started hiking from the Belfountain point. Please note, there is no parking at this point (photo attached) unless you reserve a parking spot in Forks of the Credit. Bruce trail connects further to Chisholm street and then take a left - walk for a bit and that will connect you to Dominion Street on the right. Follow the Dominion street which will connect you to Dominion trail. The house at the end of Dominion Street sells local Honey which is so good in taste. Would recommend to buy it (added photos for that as well)!
Great walk with the dog's.... people on the trail are also good with there dog's and bike riders too.... nice view of Guelph at Clare's Lookout... also walking areas well maintained....
Dirty, a lot of homeless people. Would be nice if it wasn’t run down, don’t feel safe alone walking there.
Went to see sunset and the view was mesmarizing📸❤️
Such a Wonderful place with all the pathways and trails beautifully designed and maintained. The main attraction that is a old artisanal flour mill that is powered with hydro energy that propels a big wheel that goes about 10 rpm. With the help of a few ratios transfer gears that will jack it up to a surprisingly twelve hundred rpm which is required to crush the grains, lift and separate the product to specifications.

The staff are just really amazing Always trying to improve our visit and taking the time to listen and answer our many questions with in depth answers .

They're also a art center promoting artists and forming youths to all kinds of technics and different types of substrate.

Overall a pretty pleasant experience and wonderful memories

There are many trails you can walk to enjoy. The day we picked was so beautiful and temperature was perfect. We were on the trails for a short time butnthe exercise and scenery are well worth it. The trails are generally kept up quite well. There is a lot of sensitive grounds surrounding the trails so for the better of the delicate ecosystem, stay on the designated pathways. We found the perfect timing on a long weekend to take a hike so ended up being very enjoyable. Only saw a few people walking trails and a few bicyclists. Will be back to walk other routes next time.
Very nice park. It is huge! It has several types of trails according to difficulty level. Good signalling. Plenty of parking which is included in the entrance fee. Washrooms are clean but in specific locations, so most likely you’ll need to drive or go in your bike to get to them.

While hiking, we saw several families camping in their designated campgrounds, which was really cool.

If visiting in summer, bring repellent, sunscreen, food , water and a hat! It is HUGE and you can spend here 3-4 hours at minimum.
Gorgeous trail

This is a nice little trail that runs all the way through the Westminster Woods/Pine Ridge area.

The walk varies from wider open walking areas to narrower forested areas. Farther into the trail is a deeper forested section that has mulch added once or twice a year. The mulch cushion is nice for jogging!

This is actually a pretty sophisticated network of trails. They lead through all sorts of neighbourhood parks and if you follow the main path it continues all the way down beside Orin Reid Park and past Gordon (behind the old Shoppers Drug Mart) and beyond. We even spotted a deer on this trail once!

I love it because it's great for a long walk, short walk, bike ride, or a run. We even take the kids in the stroller (most of the trail is no problem).

Perfect place for hiker. Trail is quiet, dense pine forest. We fully enjoyed there. We have less time so we spent about 3 hours but still we like to walk more. Parking is free and about 20 car can park on that parking spot. Better to visit on week days.
We've come here every year since he was 2 years old. This spot is absolutely amazing and we will keep coming here until we're too old to make it.
It's always quiet, the view is amazing, it's peaceful and shaded in the trees.
If you go down the steps, it gets cooler and there's a bit more mosquitoes but nothing too bad at all.
Definitely recommend!

Awesome trail. The stairs made from carefully placed rocks is amazing. The geothermal vent blowing cold air was super neat. Only downside is the rocks tended to be quite slippery from the humidity and moisture. Overall a very enjoyable hike with pretty views. We did the Willoughby's property trail and the Niagara escarpment section.

Fantastic trail! We love coming here on the weekends with our dog for a nice walk and swim, when it's hot! You share the trail with bikers but generally there aren't too many people and there is a lot of space on the trail.

Lovely walk along the Speed River with mature cedars lining the riverbank. One comes upon a beaver dam, making the water burble as it passes through. Just keeps going for as long as you could wish.
Only downside is being popular. On the weekends watch out for lots of bikes.
No off leash either.
Beautiful trail. Depends on which direction you are starting from. This one starts at Marianne Park on Gordon Street to Victoria Rd South. Watch out for Golf Balls & Cyclist. Also look out for the invasive species Garlic Mustard.

STUNNING TRAIL!
Many good places to stop on the way! Would recommend packing light and only hitting this trail if you have an OK level of fitness (judge for yourself). A few bikers here and there but they don’t seem to mind sharing the trail. Not many kids and an overall beautiful environment!

Beautiful trail, if your heading north it can get challenging if you get onto the wrong trail.
It was my first time walking (and photographing) this trail. Such beautiful scenery, well mainrained and super safe. People were so kind in staying distant, and 9/10 bike riders actually had bells. I'd highly reccomend the trail to anyone looking to get out and explore nature, go for a run or a bike ride. Kid friendly!

An easy trail good for taking your dog too. It connects to many other smaller trails like bottle top, which is another amazing, but more difficult uphill trail. If you bring your dogs, there’s a way to go down the river and let your dogs have fun by the water.

Very steep and not a lot to look at on the trail other than the old jet engine but the view from the top is amazing!
Perfect spot for a camper van or small RV overnight stay, there's between 2 to 4 parking (see picture). Good distance from houses, dead end road, close to Grouse Mountain and Capilano park. Quiet, recommended.

I've done this many times, I love the into the wood section of the hiking, which is beautiful, especially a after rain. There is also a flat paved variation next to the river, to make it a circle, instead of a return trip. I've tried it once, it bored me to death with it's flatness, so never again. Always hike into the woods or hike up to the peak

Love this hike, minor ups and downs. Not steep. First part is full of every type of hiker/walker. Farther you go, less people you see and the more technical it gets. Watch for mud after a rain fall.
