Overall my experience have been always positive with the clinic and Dr Soltani. Thank you.

The receptionists are extremely friendly! However, I am astonished by Dr. Soltani's lack of reliability. During my visit, my ultrasound report indicated an issue, and I even mentioned to her that I was experiencing significant pain due to a lump. Her response was simply to wait for two weeks and, if the pain persists, they would perform an X-ray and another ultrasound. Additionally, she advised taking Advil or Tylenol. Thankfully, the very next day I visited a walk-in clinic, where the doctor promptly prescribed antibiotics and other medications. The doctor also mentioned that if I had waited two weeks, I would have required surgery. It's difficult for me to comprehend how Dr. Soltani could neglect such a crucial matter. No wonder Canada's healthcare system has a poor reputation. Just because it's provided at no cost doesn't mean the patient shouldn't be treated properly. I don't believe she has sufficient experience, making it a complete waste of time. I strongly discourage anyone from going to this place. It's better to wait for hours at a walk-in clinic than to receive inadequate treatment here.
Edit review:
I spoke to the receptionist and presented the reports I received from the clinic via email on July 4th. I clearly informed her that the doctor had discussed the reports with me and advised me to return after 2 weeks if the lump didn't subside, even suggesting the possibility of having COVID, which I did not. I am really disappointed and find it troubling that the doctor would lie about this situation.

I have been a patient for almost 3 years. But Soltani is absolutely the worst. Terrible referrals on multiple occasions and whenever I have an appointment I end up waiting for 30 minutes at least in the office. Last visit when I complain about this she just tells me to go see another doctor.
The receptionist is extremely rude. When I complain as its my right to complain when I am getting such a service, she just keeps telling me “stop yelling”! I feel extremely offended by this. This is the normal way I speak and it is my accent. I mean can’t we have a conversation with someone and give a feedback without being labeled rude or angry or something? Are we just supposed to keep taking the attitude and terrible service they are giving us at these medical clinics with a smile and thank them for disrespecting our time.

I've been with Dr. Farnoosh Soltani Mohammadi for a couple of years and still continuing. It has been an amazing experience. Doesn't rush. Never had to wait during the visit. The receptionists are also very welcoming. Dr. gives a very thorough explanation and is very knowledgeable. Thank you .

One word to describe the whole clinic would be "unprofessional".
We (my wife and myself) have been Dr.Soltani's patients for over 2 years and we have had the opportunity to see the quality of care decline over time. There's been some questionable practices and unprofessionalism starting from the receptionist to the doctor. I'm writing this review based on multiple experiences and not due to a single incident.
1. During one visit while my wife eas explaining her symptoms, the doctor's watch kept buzzing every 30 seconds and she would take time to read the text on her watch. She was distracted throughout the session and we had to repeat ourselves multiple times.
2. To avoid the long wait times encountered at the clinic, we booked the first appointment of the day once. Doctor ended up being late to work that day and we had to wait almost an hour. That's when we realized that it's not the patients taking longer, but the doctor showing up late that's contributing to causing the delays.
3. The doctor has been rushing us during the session lately and it seems like she doesn't have the time nor interest to treat a patient.
4. There are two doctor's names being posted on the clinic's door even though there's only one doctor practicing in the clinic. I doubt it if it's a way to bring in twice the amount of patients with just one doctor. This would explain why it's hard to get an appointment here.
5. There's no proper communication between the doctor and receptionist. During our last visit the doctor said she would call us (through medeo) app to discuss a test result. But when we called the receptionist to check if we can schedule it, she argued with my pregnant wife and denied to give an appointment. She called back later and gave us an online appointment for 4:45 pm. We logged in at 4:45 for the call and waited till 5:30 when we decided to end the call. We later got a message from the doctor saying that she will call back the next day. There was no communication from them for another 3 weeks.
My wife is a high-risk pregnant woman and if this is the kind of treatment she got, I'm really worried about the care that goes in to treating other patients. We have been going to a walk-in clinic lately and we were surprised to see the difference in care, and compassion the doctor and receptionist showed us at the walk-in clinic. We will never go back to NY North Medical clinic and is in the process of taking us off their patient list. A doctor who is late and distracted isn't professional. Dr.Soltani seemed like she's a lot better than this when we first visited the clinic and I hope it starts getting better for the sake of other patients.
EDIT:
We understand that 15 to 20 minute delays are normal and that is exactly why we scheduled an appointment as the first patients of day. Doctor did not even show up to the clinic for almost an hour.
Also, we only got one phone call that too after almost 3 weeks and two calls after the review was posted.
I'm glad that you appreciate honest reviews because I keep my review honest so that other patients can know what they are getting in to.

My husband and I’re patients of Dr. Soltani since one year ago approximately and we’d never had any problems until this year, when we might have had the opportunity to do our check-ups.
First, it was difficult to find an available time with her that could be matched with our work time and when we could definitely find one, the receptionist called me three days before the appointment to cancel it, as she had an emergency.
We were sensitive and sympathetic, since this kind of situation can happen with everyone. Immediately, the receptionist could encounter another day to reschedule the appointment, but once again, it was very complicated for us to find a way to match her schedule with ours, but we did it. Guess what? For the second time in a row, the receptionist called me saying that Dr. Soltani due to an emergency, needed to cancel our appointment AGAIN. Really? What’s going on?
Just a heads up, coincidentally, those two times that we supposed to have our appointments up and running, were scheduled to be held on Friday. Moreover, how come someone with 3 or 4 days before your appointment can predict that an emergency is going to occur? I have no idea!
Bottom line is she demonstrated lack of professionalism and you who’s thinking about scheduling an appointment with her, be ready to have the same surprise as we had and have your time super available to adequate it to when she thinks it should be done.
On the other hand, her staff is extremely polite and nice.
What a shame!

I totally trust Dr. Soltani. She is a great doctor, professional, sympathetic, patient and above all, she treats her patients with love and care. The receptionist is amazing. I would recommend their services to people who needs medical care.
